Labour Plan to Force Companies to Pay for ‘Woke’ Trade Union Equality Officers

In an expansion of “wokery” in the workplace, Labour plans to force companies to pay for trade union equality officers. The Telegraph has the story.

Sir Keir Starmer’s party would introduce new statutory rights for “trade union equality reps” who would be able to take time out from their normal duties to carry out union activities.

The proposals are contained in its New Deal for Working People document.

It says: “Labour will introduce statutory rights for trade union equality reps in order to strengthen equality at work for all.”

But Conservative Party campaign sources argue that this will “cut productivity and hike costs” across both the public and private sectors.

They say that these measures, along with others in the policy document, constitute a “massive expansion in woke red tape” for companies.

Esther McVey, a Cabinet Office minister, warned that Labour will “waste taxpayers’ money on a massive expansion of wokery and virtue signalling, diverting time and money away from front-line police, doctors and teachers”.

She added: “Under Angela Rayner’s bung to the unions, companies will be enveloped in French-style union laws, pushing up costs. Her socialist ‘wokeforce’ will hammer productivity and make Britain less competitive.”

Wage inflation 14%
Mortgage rates 16%
Basic income tax 35%, top rate 83%
Corporation tax 46%
£50 limit on how much you could take out of the Sterling area
Power cuts
Increasing unemployment
Strikes, strikes, strikes

Vote anyone 04 July for a trip down Memory Lane.

Anyone that still believes this juggernaut can be stopped at the ballot box does not understand how this all works. And they need your vote, any vote will do, for it to continue working.

You likely already know this but if you submit a blank ballot paper or spoil it, it gets counted and reported with the results. Unlike not turning up, that actively highlights that none of the choices are considered fit to govern or are in a system that does not permit them to govern as they claim they will do.

In response to a recent letter to my constituency MP questioning her position on the 100 Cities project she advised that the Labour Party would be creating thousands of new ‘green’ jobs. Clearly this is what she was getting at.

Yes “Green Jobs”——Except they forget to subtract the hundreds of thousands of fossil fuel jobs from their equation. But the purpose of energy companies is to provide ENERGY, not JOBS.

A party of think student activists led by a nasty communist.
Labour now are worse than in the 70s because back then they had, in some ways, solid people with practical backgrounds and experiences. This lot are more dangerous because they have none of that (the stupid single mother Rayner being a classic example- what useful experience does she bring other than how to game the welfare system). Labour have no clue how to run anything important so they will dp the things that Stalin Starmer and his Pabloist cronies want, and change the way our country is governed and take away your freedoms and change parliamentary processes to hand more power to quangos and judges. Vile communist traitors. The civl war cannot come soon enough.

You ain’t seen nuthin yet. ——–With this huge majority that seems inevitable we are all in for a horrendous time of it. We will be pretending to save the planet even harder than ever before. We will have equality and diversity coming out of our ears, and we won’t see a white person on a TV program unless there are 2 black people, a lesbian, and a Muslim standing next to them. There will be men walking into our daughters toilet and changing room whenever they feel like it. We will be back in the EU but they will just change the language and call it “closer association” etc etc. Get ready people. Your fantastic gas central heating is heading for the scrap yard. Get out your woolly jumpers and order a few new ones along with some scarves and hot water bottles.
