I didn’t see the debate between Starmer and Sunak, didn’t know it was happening and don’t much care. But I am not surprised Sunak was seen to have done better. Surely his is the easier task? I’m reminded of the great Thomas Sowell:

There are 3 questions that would destroy most of the arguments of the Left. The first is – compared to what? The second is – at what cost? And the third is – what hard evidence do you have?

Tthere are talkers and there are doers. Most politicians fall into the later category.

Most fall into the former, because they’re virtually all lying gobshites that cannot seem to stop undermining the intelligence of the public: ”Stop the boats”, ”three weeks to flatten the curve”, deportations, Rwanda….too many examples, too little time.

Most politicians are doers?
Surely you don’t believe that?

What makes you think “Sunak was seen to have done better”? There was a YouGov “snap poll” – do you trust YouGov snap polls? – which asked:

Who performed best overall in tonight’s debate?

Rishi Sunak: 51%
Keir Starmer: 49%

Even if you trust YouGov snap polls, that’s a tiny margin and there’s a margin of error.

According to the same “snap poll”:

Who was more…

Trustworthy: Sunak 39% / Starmer 49%
Likeable: Sunak 34% / Starmer 50%
In touch: Sunak 17% / Starmer 66%
Prime Ministerial: Sunak 43% / Starmer 40%

% of debate viewers who think

Sunak did well: 55%
Sunak did badly: 44%

Starmer did well: 60%
Starmer did badly: 40%

No I don’t set much store by such polls but it’s certainly plausible that Sunak would do well in such a debate as Starmer has the task of selling utopian pipe dreams that are obviously nonsense (at least it’s obvious to me)

I didn’t think Sunak did well at all.

I didn’t think Starmer did well either.

Well I have no time for either of them, but that wasn’t really my point.

“who was actually in charge of the U.S. Covid response”. Nobody. That’s the point. As Fauci said of the “six feet separation” limit, “it sort of just appeared”.

From who or where did the six feet rule – and other such ‘rules and ideas’ – come from? Did someone or some group or organisation feed the suggestion / edict to key players with key roles in the scamdemic? Whatever, the key players revelled in their ‘authority’ and dictatorship.

Fauci’s insistence that, although it “just sort of appeared,” he didn’t think of social distancing begs the response, “Then why didn’t you make it disappear by invoking science?”

I would say that the visible driving force was almost certainly Bill Gates who (a) went on network news shows very early on to advocate forcefully for lockdowns (b) sent representatives of his foundation to major governments to convince them that the only solution was vaccination and that they needed to “protect” their populations until a jab was ready.

His foundation also held the Event 201 “pandemic exercise” in October 2019 in which all the weird covid measures we experienced and which ran completely contrary to all accepted wisdom were gamed out and put in the minds of the participants.

Those are not conjectures. Those are facts.

The speculative part is whether Bill Gates was acting by himself or on behalf of a more powerful establishment.

I’m inclined to think the latter. But that he was a major driving force is undeniable.

Tommy Robinson is sharing this petition to get rid of Mark Rowley. More signatures would be appreciated;

”Our petition is at 33433 signatures. Let’s get it to 50,000 . We will hand deliver it to mark rowley on July 27th”

”We urge you to join us in signing the petition calling for the immediate resignation of Mark Rowley. His tenure as a senior police officer has been marred by politicised, two-tier policing, which undermines the very principles of fairness and justice that our law enforcement should uphold. Rowley’s approach has not only eroded public trust but also fostered a climate of division and unequal treatment under the law.
By signing this petition, you are standing up against biased policing practices and demanding accountability from those in power. Together, we can send a powerful message that politicised policing has no place in our society. Let’s work towards a future where every citizen is treated with the same respect and fairness, regardless of their background or beliefs without fear or favour. Sign now and help us restore integrity to our policing system.”

China unfurls flag on dark side of the Moon as probe heads back to Earth” – China’s Chang’e-6 craft lifted off from the lunar surface on Tuesday morning after a successful mission to collect samples, reports the Telegraph.

The probe departed the Moon at 7.38am local time (12.38am BST) and completed its two-day sample collection on Monday night.

So that’s it? The Moon now runs on China’s timezone?

They are banning a crisp flavouring because it “might” be associated with “fear” of cancer? Yep, that sounds very scientific to me.

Pity they can’t ban the jibby jabs which definitely cause deaths and severe injuries.

Indeed

Surely the first and most important thing you judge them on is their track record. After that, on what they promise to do (taken with a ton of salt). If after that they both still seem like plausible options you might choose to watch a debate and judge them on that, but surely your mind will have been made up long since.

I agree with you that it is well worth reading, though I am not sure about her concluding section on who is doing the subverting. She names 3 forces that she believes might be subverting western culture and societies – “American Marxists” (which she defines as including “old card-carrying communists, red-diaper baby socialists, antifa anarchists, and many of whom we now call woke”), radical Islamists and the Chinese Communist Party.

She omits to mention a force that I would guess we might put top of our list of suspects – comprising the Globalists, the WEF/UN/WHO/EU build back better brigade, new world order, corporate elite etc – and I’m not sure how the US military industrial complex and US Federal Reserve fit in here either. Is a key driver of all this the fact that the fiat currency system in western countries is on the point of collapse and its replacement with a CBDC system is seen as desirable by these crazy loons?

I agree Michael. I sort of discarded her Three Forces and entirely agree with your list of….”Globalists, the WEF/UN/WHO/EU build back better brigade, new world order, corporate elite etc .”

Notwithstanding her summary I thought it was an excellent article. Bezhemov knew his subject and discussed it often enough. Strange it wasn’t acted on n’est pas?

Well done to the police who have charged the 25-year-old “OnlyFans” Porn Slut with assault and criminal damage, while Diane Abbott’s “Stand Up to Racism” Marxists gloat over the attack on an election candidate, forgetting that a man went to prison for 28 days after a similar attack on the Toadlike Abbott’s ex-boyfriend Jeremy Corbyn in 2019, and patriotic candidates in countries like Germany get stabbed.

“We Have Been Subverted” says Ayaan Hirsi Ali in the Free Press.” “We”? Here are some Youtube comments on Ayaan Hirsi Ali’s Fake Conversion to Christianity. Some from Dutch people, and one from an Aussie: — “She lied about her name, parents, age, history, and her reasons for fleeing Somalia. After her lies came to light, she was dropped by the political party she abused, by parliament, lost her Dutch nationality, and went to the USA to repeat everything again.” — “Her position seemed to be “Christianity is useful”.” — “I’ve found her to be very disingenuous, narcissistic and opportunistic.” — “She’s just trying to get Clout. Anything for Fame. She and Candace Owens are of the same coin, just different sides.” — “I have lost all respect for Ali. She is not a Christian, she is simply trying to unite with Christians and use them in her fight against what she perceives as threats. She has shown herself to be an astute political operator, comfortable with lies and omissions and twisting truth to meet her own ends. I suspect that her next move will be to seek political office.” — “She lied about her name, age and claimed to have fled war zone Somalia… Read more »
