We Should Have More Gender Categories, Says NHS Abuse Services Chief

The current number of gender categories in the NHS should be expanded, the Chairman of the National Clinical Network of Sexual Assault and Abuse Services at NHS England has suggested. The Telegraph has the story.

Dr. Binta Sultan made the comments in an online panel discussion this month hosted by UCL, titled ‘Intersectionality in Inclusion Health: Why Does Gender Matter?’ where she introduced herself as “a brown cisgender Muslim woman”.

Working at UCL’s Collaborative Centre for Inclusion Health (CCIH), Dr. Sultan is “a consultant physician in inclusion health at Uclh, the first in the NHS”. CCIH’s website describes “inclusion health” as a “social justice movement to prevent and address the harms of extreme inequality through research, service and policy”.

Panellists included Kate Luxion, a “non-binary” researcher at UCL who recently told the BBC that trans milk is just as good as breast milk.

During the event panellists advocated the idea of gender identity being recorded in public services as well as sex. Event chairman Serena Luchenski, a founding member of CCIH, asked Dr. Sultan: “As a clinician recording people’s gender in the data, do you think that’s a problem in your day job? Do you think there’s an excuse for the NHS not to be doing this?”

Dr. Sultan replies: “I don’t think it’s a problem to have more [gender] categories and ask people how they want to be identified, right? It’s not difficult. As a clinician it’s not a difficult thing and if someone chooses not to answer that’s fine as well, right?” …

Dr. Louise Irvine, GP and Clinical Advisory Network on Sex and Gender co-chair, said: “The current problem is that people can change the sex on their medical records to align with their gender identity, making it impossible for clinicians to know their sex, and this is unsafe.

“Healthcare professionals don’t know if someone who is male or female on their records is actually male or female. The Cass review advocated for clarity about sex on medical records. Sex is binary and people cannot change sex. It is not ‘assigned at birth’ but is noted at birth or even before this. There needs to be clarity about sex in medical records.”

Stop Press: The Pride movement has done its job, says Kathleen Stock in the Sunday Times. Now its constant nagging is making people resentful.

For a fist full of roubles

You mean someone is being paid from our money to be a chairman of Sexual Assault and Abuse Services?

I similarly worry about elected Police and Crime Commissioners.

It’s a clear conflict of interest. I mean, paying for someone elected to commission crime and the Police?

Very good!! Absolute nonsense English. The effect is that the Police do nothing about crime, but invent new ones to fill their time. The other pastime is watching endless CCTV to prevent boredom. No wonder they have a severe recruitment problem.

I wondered why it always takes so long to find my records, and now we know. Leave each other alone and get on with the job.

I can’t read the full article. How many categories does he want? You can bet that however many they provide, people will complain that they are not represented.

I guess it’s a proxy for asking people “are you sane, a nutcase or just a troll?”.

Excuse the Sunday frivolity but I keep thinking of this:

“I went up to this girl, she said, “Hi, my name is Sheena”
I thought she’d be good to go with a little Funky Cold Medina
She said, “I’d like a drink, ” I said, “Ehm, okay, I’ll go get it”
Then a couple sips she cold licked her lips
And I knew that she was with it
So I took her to my crib, and everything went well as planned
But when she got undressed, it was a big old mess, Sheena was a man
So I threw him out, I don’t mess around with no Oscar Meyer wiener
You must be sure that your girl is pure for the Funky Cold Medina
You know what I’m saying, y’all? Ain’t no plans with a man”

I’m trying to work out the gender of this person. The face looks quite masculine, but you do get females with more square jaws. I’m not sure if the nipples are of the ‘post-op’ type we see on FtM trans people. Cracking physique either way, to be honest. Although it looks shocking ( which is obviously the aim ) it’s also impressive how they created this, from a special effects perspective.

Not my style and I don’t have the talent

I’m amazed the artist in question has not been cancelled for transphobia, but perhaps nobody remembers him

Well in the below case, Karla was a man ( formerly known as ‘Juan Carlos’, to be precise ); ”Spanish actor Karla Sofía Gascón, a trans-identified male previously known as Carlos, has filed a legal complaint against French politician Marion Maréchal, alleging she committed hate speech by calling him a “man.” Maréchal could face one year in prison and a €300,000 fine (£255,300) if found guilty. On May 26, Maréchal, the head of France’s Reconquête! party for the European elections, made a comment on social media about Gascón after it was announced that he had won an award for “Best Actress” at the Cannes Film Festival. Gascón had won the award for his role in ‘Emilia Pérez,’ wherein he plays the titular role as a ruthless Mexican drug lord who decides to “transition” in order to evade law enforcement. “So a man has received the prize at Cannes for… female performance. Progress for the left is the erasure of women and mothers,” wrote Maréchal in response to the news of Gascón’s win. In response to a controversy that ensued, Maréchal reiterated her comments on the news program Telematin the following day, stating: “Saying all day long that a man is a woman does not make it… Read more »

We’re certainly ranked, perhaps top five. Canada, USA, Ireland, NZ, Australia and Germany probably above us. But we’re catching up.

I read her quote and I see something very different to the headline. I see someone who is under pressure to give in and thinks she’s compromising in something small like giving patients the opportunity to put some more imaged genders on a form “and if someone chooses not to answer that’s fine as well, right?”

Why have we got “a brown cisgender Muslim woman”.who is a doctor and presumably a medical doctor at that, discussing such utter nonsense as gender variety salads? This is a disgraceful waste of taxpayers money. Furthermore, that a medical doctor is involved in these discussions suggests to me that her place within the healthcare industry is at best misplaced and potentially dangerous because she is a bloody nutter.

Would any of us trust this woman with medical matters?

Yeah but after the scamdemic debacle the medical and healthcare professionals, out of all professionals, are the very ones that let us all down big time, therefore nothing will ever surprise me any more with this lot. Remember, these are the ones who thought a mask would stop you catching a cold, despite surgical masks never ever being used for any such function in all of modern medical history. Medical ethics and Hippocratic oath completely out the window. My respect, as well as my faith, in these people has completely been eroded off the back of their performance during the entire shitshow, and now we have all of this gender ideology nonsense as the cherry on the cake. They’re trying to force-feed us yet another shit sandwich from an ‘all you can eat’ buffet and we need to respond with a very definitive ”Go f**k yourself”.

Her title is a lie. How can someone whose job is described as part of a “social justice movement” be a Physician and not a political activist? That’s all she really is, a political terrorist.
It’s interesting as well that she describes herself as both cisgender and as a “woman”. Why use both? I looked up the meaning just to make sure:

Cisgender describes a person whose gender identity corresponds to their sex assigned at birth, meaning they are not transgender. It is used to describe individuals whose internal sense of gender aligns with the sex they were identified as having at birth.”

She also says she is Muslim but in the Muslim faith go ahead and try finding anything but male and female, yet she claims we need loads of sexes. It wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t me and you paying for this insane woman!

Dr Loise Irvine is the only sane voice I’ve heard on this nonsense really. According to Sultan:
“I don’t think it’s a problem to have more [gender] categories and ask people how they want to be identified, right?”
As Irvine points out there are only two sexes, Sultan identifies as one of them. You can’t be something else. Psychologically or fashionably you can identify as a hamster if you want, who cares apart from the Clinician who has to guess what you are from a form?
As to that crap about Trans milk, well, bugger me backwards, why haven’t thousands of years of children been fed by their Dad’s when Mom needed a lie down?
