We all know that additional police powers sold to us as being necessary to control violent mobs will instead be used on people silently praying in the vicinity of an abortion clinic.

With their brutal response to pro-freedom protests during Lockdown it is clear that police forces have sufficient powers to control protests. Those in charge of police forces are very selective regarding how the powers they have are used. Leftist protests are given a free pass. Police forces are irredeemably corrupt and need to be abolished and replaced with much smaller and more accountable constabularies.

What’s really going on?

Russia’s best General sacked!

Major General Popov was largely responsible for Russian defences against the Ukrainian Summer 2023 counteroffensive in western Zaporizhia Oblast. The 235th Garrison Military Court reported that authorities arrested Popov on May 17 for large-scale fraud and will hold Popov in detention for two months.

Russian milbloggers responded to the news of Popov’s arrest by praising Popov as a competent and respected military commander and expressing hope that authorities would forgive him and allow him to return to military service.

Popov claimed in leaked audio that former Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu dismissed him for expressing persistent grievances about problems in western Zaporizhia Oblast.

Ex-Russian army commander detained over fraud charge

Gen Popov was sacked in July 2023 after complaining publicly about Russian military problems in Ukraine.

In a widely-shared voice message, he said:

“It was necessary either to keep quiet and be a coward or to say it the way it is.”

“I had no right to lie in the name of you, in the name of my fallen comrades in arms, so I outlined all the problems which exist.”

Among the issues Gen Popov said he had highlighted to his superiors were the lack of proper counter battery systems to help repel Ukrainian artillery attacks, as well as a lack of military intelligence.

The commander said his dismissal was demanded by senior commanders – who he accused of treason – and approved by the then Russian defence minister, Sergei Shoigu.

Maj Gen Ivan Popov, 49, will be held in custody for two months, Russian state-run media reported.

His attorney was quoted by Tass news agency as saying that the general denied all the allegations.

The infected-blood scandal shames the NHS ‘….it’s a day of shame for one part of the British state in particular.’ ‘Never has it felt less like ‘Our NHS’ than it does right now.’ Carpe Diem! Implement the recommendations of the IEA report ‘Universal Healthcare Without The NHS’ immediately. ‘The Dutch system shows that a successful health system needs no state-owned hospitals, no state hospital planning and no hospital subsidies. The Swiss system shows that even substantial levels of out-of-pocket patient charges need not be regressive, and that people can be trusted to choose sensibly from a variety of health insurance plans. The ‘PKVpillar’ of the German system shows that a healthcare system can be fully prefunded, just like a pension system. The quasi-market reforms of the 2000s can be built upon, to move gradually from the status quo to a pluralistic, consumer-oriented healthcare system. Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) are, in a sense, comparable to insurers, so giving people free choice of CCG would be a necessary (albeit not sufficient) first step towards creating a quasi-SHI system. CCGs’ budgets would then have to correspond closely to the risk profile of the patient population they cover, and this market should also be… Read more »

Yes indeed. And I’d agree that the Dutch system is way better. Just in case people didn’t see it first time around ( I believe this was first aired in 2020 ) here’s a documentary on the scandal: In Cold Blood ( 1hr 30mins );

The dilemma of the “Zionist right” attacking aid trucks. If the children are killed by blocking aid then there won’t be a war where they can die by being shot or bombed.

“‘With God’s help, children in Gaza will die thanks to us [blocking aid].’ Another member wrote in reply: ‘Amen, amen, may it be so. King David said to fight hard!'”

“A security official who spoke with Haaretz was critical of the police’s inaction. ‘What’s missing is arrests… On Memorial Day [when the trucks were torched], several policemen were standing nearby watching and didn’t do anything. Somebody needs to tell these activists that without food for Gaza, there won’t be a war, and that’s not out of love of the Gazans but because we need to allow [the trucks to enter]. If the trucks don’t pass, Israel will have to stop the war.'”

Must warm the cockles of certain DSers to see such acts of selfless humanitarianism as that displayed by a certain group of eschatological colonialists in a small country of the Levant. Pour encourager les [sic] enfants….

Beware the downtickers, CGW. I think you’ll find that, to quote Obi-Wa Kenobi, ‘from a certain point of view’ it’s just ‘self-defence’. Nothing to do with the G word of course.

With all due respect to Dr Malone, can he, or indeed anyone, point to the occasions where Schwab and the WEF have been ‘held to account’, for anything at all?

Ah yes, ‘our’ wonderful, revered NHS that was / is totally complicit with the pandemic-that-never-was scamdemic and collaborated in jabbing the nation with faux vaccines that cause immeasurable harm to thousands. It’s a real gem, isn’t it?

Yes, I think this tweet eloquently sums it up. At this point in time, can anybody think of anything positive to say about the NHS? Are people still waiting 1 year+ to get an operation or see a consultant? Are people still waiting weeks to see a GP in person? Does one still have to wait several hours for an ambulance in an emergency? Are the mental health services still as absolutely dire as I recall, and failing people in crisis who need professional help as a matter of urgency?

”Imagine hearing that the NHS, civil service and successive government politicians did everything they could to hide this blood scandal and still think any of these rancid cunts have your best interests at heart?
The absolute state of this country.”

Thanks for linking that tweet. My sentiments exactly. I’m going to share the ‘eck out of it amongst my ‘peers’ who think the rancid organisation can do no wrong.

At least 50% of the accompanying text to the links above assume naivety, lack of rigour, foolishness is the problem for the particular situation described.
It really is time people woke up that these issues are not ‘mistakes’, but designed, planned, intentional strategies by a well organised mafia bent on the destruction of western Christian civilisation.
Note to DS: It annoys me intensely, please desist. Call it for what it is.
Example: ‘Keir Starmer says he wants to crack down on crime, but his party has neglected the family, writes Tanika D’Souza in CapX.’
In fact, the Unaparty has deliberately, systematically and purposefully sought to undermine the family since Blair’s 1997 terror. Why? Because the family is the primary obstacle against their plan for state control of everything.

Quite true – years ago, Jack Straw’s comprehensive working party report on the severe social costs of family breakdown, with recommendations for remedying the trend, was blocked and buried by his own Labour Party (at the hands of Diane Abbott). Just one example of ignoring facts to promote anti-family ideology.

Report published on 15th May 2024 by University Network for Human Rights, Boston University School of Law, Cornell Law School, University of Pretoria & Yale Law School ‘Analysis of International Law and its Application to Israel’s Military Actions Since October 7 2023’. A thorough but harrowing read.

Thank you, WW. From the Executive Summary:

“Between October 7, 2023, and May 1, 2024, Israel has killed at least 34,568 Palestinians and injured 77,765 other Palestinians in Gaza … Approximately 14,500 of the Palestinians killed in Gaza have been children. Israel killed more children in the first four months of its assault than in all of the world’s conflicts in the past four years combined. Israeli forces have killed Palestinians regardless of their protected status under international law, with the current bombardment constituting the deadliest conflict for journalists ever recorded and the number of UN personnel killed reaching a degree “never seen in . . . history.” Israel’s military operation has destroyed up to 70 percent of homes in Gaza, and has decimated civilian infrastructure, including hospitals, schools, universities, UN facilities, and cultural and religious heritage sites … Civilians in Gaza face catastrophic levels of hunger and deprivation due to Israel’s restriction on, and failure to ensure adequate access to, basic essentials of life, including food, water, medicine, and fuel.”

One can only hope DS staff and others will read it and finally consider whether their unconditional support of Israel is warranted.

Tory MP Craig Mackinlay: I lost my arms and legs to sepsis
Perplexed by the absence of any reason for him to suddenly develop sepsis, I finally found it:

“The Kent MP started feeling unwell on September 27 but thought it was no worse than the beginnings of a cold, and he even took a Covid test which came back negative.”
‘Bionic MP’ Craig Mackinlay will return to Parliament TODAY after revealing he lost both his hands and feet to sepsis as Tory gears up to fight the next election | Daily Mail Online

NHS instructions for Covid lateral flow test kit
“If your test requires a throat swab:

  • Open your mouth wide and rub the swab over both your tonsils (or where they would have been) at the back of your throat. Do this 4 times on each side.
  • Using the same swab, wipe the inside of your nose as set out in the test kit instructions.

If your test requires a nose swab only:

  • Use the swab to wipe the inside of your nose as set out in the test kit instructions.”
