AstraZeneca Withdrawing Covid Vaccine Worldwide
The AstraZeneca Covid vaccine is being withdrawn worldwide, months after the pharmaceutical giant admitted for the first time in court documents that it can cause a deadly side effect. The Telegraph has the story.
The vaccine can no longer be used in the European Union after the company voluntarily withdrew its ‘marketing authorisation’. The application to withdraw the vaccine was made on March 5th and came into effect on Tuesday.
Similar applications will be made in the coming months in the U.K. and in other countries that had approved the vaccine, known as Vaxzevria.
The decision to withdraw it brings to an end the use of the jab, which was heralded by Boris Johnson as a “triumph for British science” and credited with saving more than six million lives.
AstraZeneca said the vaccine was being removed from markets for commercial reasons. It said the vaccine was no longer being manufactured or supplied, having been superseded by updated vaccines that tackle new variants.
Vaxzevria has come under intense scrutiny in recent months over a very rare side effect, which causes blood clots and low blood platelet counts. AstraZeneca admitted in court documents lodged with the High Court in February that the vaccine “can, in very rare cases, cause TTS”.
TTS – which stands for Thrombosis with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome – has been linked to at least 81 deaths in the U.K. as well as hundreds of serious injuries. AstraZeneca is being sued by more than 50 alleged victims and grieving relatives in a High Court case.
But AstraZeneca has insisted the decision to withdraw the vaccine is not linked to the court case or its admission that it can cause TTS. It said the timing was pure coincidence.
In a statement the company said: “We are incredibly proud of the role Vaxzevria played in ending the global pandemic. According to independent estimates, over 6.5 million lives were saved in the first year of use alone and over three billion doses were supplied globally.
“Our efforts have been recognised by governments around the world and are widely regarded as being a critical component of ending the global pandemic.
“As multiple, variant COVID-19 vaccines have since been developed, there is a surplus of available updated vaccines. This has led to a decline in demand for Vaxzevria, which is no longer being manufactured or supplied. AstraZeneca has therefore taken the decision to initiate withdrawal of the marketing authorisations for Vaxzevria within Europe.
“We will now work with regulators and our partners to align on a clear path forward to conclude this chapter and significant contribution to the COVID-19 pandemic.”

I don’t see this as any sort of a climb down regarding covid jabs.
I see this as the result of a vicious turf war between pharmas.
From the moment the covid jabs came out the AstraZeneca one got more bad press while the mRNA BioNrech/Moderna/Pfizer ones didn’t.
Covid was blatantly exploited, if not outright instigated, by the mRNA cartel to push through a new technology that had up to that point got nowhere, was struggling with trials and had basically stalled.
Now the cartel have agreements with governments all around the world to build dedicated facilities and expand the mRNA “platform”
AstraZeneca was an annoying little competitor that needed to be discredited and just took a little more time and work than the Russian or Chinese covid jabs that were very easily swatted away.
mRNA jabs needed to end up standing alone as the saviours of the “pandemic”. And that’s what they finally have.
If I’m right, the following prediction will hold: none of the mRNA jabs will be withdrawn or declared unsafe despite the ample evidence of the harm they cause.
Pfizer, Moderna and the authorities have done a far better job of fudging the stats on the mRNA which has caused far more illness injury and death than the AZ crap. mRNA tech was one of many reasons for plandemic.

Ha, ”commercial reasons” my arse! They have to say that because if the MHRA actually functioned as a regulator they’d have removed this product ages ago, but then that would be a public declaration that the death jab was unsafe, and then where would AZ be? It wouldn’t exactly reflect well on the MHRA either, but then Dr Malhotra has done a stellar job of demonstrating just how captured by Big Pharma the various regulators are. Corruption through and through. But this is precisely why the various Covid Response investigations taking place in different countries are pure Kabuki theatre and their outcomes a foregone conclusion. If it was ever acknowledged that none of the draconian restrictions were necessary because there was never actually a pandemic then the conclusion obviously follows that these death jabs were never ever required to be administered to anybody. They would have to admit that the entire charade was just that: a hoax. Then they’d need to explain the reasons why they went to so much trouble to embark on this deadly shitshow in the first place. Independent? That species went extinct decades ago.
Hmm, the snakes-in-the-grass think they can slither and slink away after ‘withdrawing’ their toxic crap? The indelible stain imposed on society by that company alongside others will not fade away – lives lost or forever changed, plagued with illness due to people being cajoled to ‘offer their arms’ during the biggest toxic worldwide pantomime in history.
Are the damehoods and knighthoods that were dished out as a reward for various services rendered going to be withdrawn now, too?
