Just One in Four British Muslims Believe Hamas Committed Murder and Rape in Israel

A new report reveals that only a quarter of British Muslims recognise Hamas’s role in the acts of murder and rape in Israel on October 7th. The Telegraph has more.

A poll commissioned by the Henry Jackson Society, a counter-extremism think-tank, found that 46% of British Muslims said they sympathise with Hamas.

The survey, which is the largest of its kind to be carried out since the Israel-Hamas conflict began, asked a range of questions to British Muslims as well as to the general public.

Its findings come on the six-month anniversary of the October 7th massacre, when Hamas terrorists infiltrated Israel, killed around 1,200 citizens and took 253 people hostage.

The survey also found that just over half (52%) of British Muslims want to make it illegal to show a picture of the Prophet Mohammed, compared to just 16% of the public.

A third of British Muslims (32%) want to see Shariah law implemented in the U.K. versus 9% of the public.

Younger and well-educated Muslims were the most likely to think Hamas did not commit atrocities on October 7th, with the proportions rising to 47% among 18 to 24 year-olds and 40% among the university-educated.

Pretty sure you’d get similar findings in other Western countries too, not to mention from the terrorist-supporting, Jew-hating, rape-apologists that hang out on here. It’s like the meme says; ”Radical Islamists are the snake, moderate Muslims are the grass it hides amongst.”
Happening everywhere, just like counter-protestors and patriots getting arrested. Overt terrorist support is all good, however. ‘Lockstep’ 2.0. Crazy isn’t it? Why on earth would you live in a country that you demonstrably hate?

”Hamas supporter sports a fake suicide vest at Al Quds Day in Toronto. But it’s a peaceful protest. It’s not at all about hate or glorifying violence.

This is what’s happening on our streets. We are told that we’re Islamophobic if we don’t want this in our country. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty phobic of people that glorify terrorism, deify terrorist groups, chant about martyrdom and death to the Jews, and who openly hate Canada and Western values.”

Below are statements taken from Riad Malki’s testimony to the ICJ on 19th February (Malki is the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine): “I stand before you as 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza, half of them children, are besieged and bombed, killed and maimed, starved and displaced. As more than 3.5 million Palestinians in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, are subjected to the colonization of their territory and the racist violence that enables it. As 1.7 million Palestinians in Israel are treated as second-class citizens, as unwelcomed intruders in their ancestral land. As 7 million Palestine refugees continue to be denied their right to return to their land and homes. I stand before you as the entire Palestinian people continue to be denied their fundamental rights, their very existence negated. “For over a century, the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to self-determination has been denied and violated. Palestine was not a land without a people; it was not, as Israeli leaders have described it, a wasteland. There was life on this land. There was a political life, a cultural life, a social life, a religious life. It had schools and universities, cinemas and… Read more »

‘Islam’ translated means ‘submission’. It denies God has a Son.
It subjugates women, enforces medieval culture. The Koran doesn’t even mention Jerusalem once.
Yet, politicians seek to appease the crocodile hoping it will eat them last.

Islam is a primitive and barbaric ideology. Importing millions of its adherents has destroyed our civilization. The barbarians are no longer at the gates but inside the citadel and intent on imposing their primitive will on the rest of us. Submit or die is their offer. Th politicians and official responsible for this appalling state of affairs are traitors and ought to be dealt with accordingly.

Yes, quite agree. This is an example of just how screwed we are, as if we need further proof. This is who they deem acceptable to be members of our civilized society. They even protect these human detritus by awarding them anonymity. Could these people in the upper echelons be any more treacherous or show any more blatant disregard for citizens’ safety? ”A foreign sex offender who raped a teenage girl has avoided deportation after winning a ten-year asylum battle to remain in the UK, The Mail on Sunday can reveal. Judges ruled that deporting the rapist to Eritrea, East Africa, would breach his human rights because he had previously dodged military conscription and was at risk of being punished if he returned. The hugely controversial decision is among more than 360 immigration rulings made in February and March by the Upper Tier Tribunal, which examines asylum and deportation appeals. In an exclusive audit by this newspaper of the tribunal’s recent decisions, we can also reveal how: A Jamaican drug dealer who has been deported from the UK three times – only to then repeatedly sneak back into the country – has won his bid to stay. An alleged crime… Read more »

I’m surprised it’s only one in four.

Linking to a Telegraph article behind a paywall is not very helpful.

“When the Israelis and their supporters are called on to justify the ferocity of their response, which has killed far, far more people than the Hamas incursion… again and again and again, they will talk about babies and they will talk about rapes.”
Award-winning journalist and film director Richard Sanders, sits down with Middle East Eye columnist Peter Oborne to discuss his latest film with Al Jazeera’s Investigation Unit (I-Unit) “October 7.”
The film provides a forensic analysis of the Hamas-led attack on Israel that day, revealing human rights abuses committed by Hamas fighters. The months’ long investigation also found that many claims repeated by politicians and western media, including mass rape and killings of babies, were false.
Sanders explains that the failure of western media outlets in reporting these claims has been used by Israel to justify its war on Gaza.

I’m currently enjoying a three-month subscription for £2. I don’t know if it’s available to everyone. I just have to remember to cancel by the end of the three months if I don’t want to start paying the full price. The first month is entirely free, can cancel anytime. It’s definitely one of the better newspapers.

I regard The Telegraph along with The Guardian and many other media as totally obnoxious publications and refuse to give them any money whatsoever.
It’s bad enough paying £5 a month to The Daily Sceptic and regularly being offended by the rubbish that Richard Eldred comes up with.

Insert “12ft.io/” before the address.

I don’t respect the “journalists” at The Telegraph enough to pay them, but I suppose I do wander over there sometimes. This trick allows me to check if I should change my mind. It hasn’t, yet.

Case in point:

Using that address the font is about a foot high on my browser and difficult to navigate and I know it would not be worth the effort.
I troll them on facebook as their headlines on Ukraine and Israel are so way off the mark.

How many if the “integrated” and “inclusive” people did I see at the Kings Coronation? How many at the Queens funeral? In any street in the country on TV news you will see Muslims all over the place, they are easily recognisable by their appearance and clothes, headscarves etc. But at the two events I mentioned above I found them very hard to spot. I can tell you another place I noticed a distinct lack of “diversity”——-The memorial Service for the victims of the Manchester Arena bombing. As Suella said “In Britian, but not of Britain”

Well by your reckoning “many of us” also have no time for the victims of the Manchester Arena bomb.

For a fist full of roubles

Everyone commenting seems to accept unquestioningly that the reports are right and that 3 out of 4 Muslims are wrong.
I have no skin in the game either way, but I suspect the truth is not quite as clear cut as some would like to believe.
Western MSM does not have a good track record, and of late the DT has contained a lot of fiction masquerading as journalism on nearly all topics.

“Masum, believed to have been known to the woman, is described as an Asian” …. like Abdul Edizi then, it appears to be an “honour” killing.

How wonderful that our country has been “enriched” by so many violent, misogynistic Muslims.

What? Does ‘the public’ include Muslims? if not why is it more than 0.1%. Mohammed is depicted in art in many countries, how is it possible that even 16% think it should be ILLEGAL?

So, let me see if I have this right:
Palestinians have their land slowly taken over by Jews — Bad.
Muslims slowly taking over UK — Good.
Millions of South and Central Americans enter and taking over USA — Good.
