Shakespeare made theatre too ‘white, male and cisgender’, tax-payer funded study finds” – The “disproportionate representation” of William Shakespeare in the theatre has propagated “white, able-bodied, heterosexual, cisgender male narratives”, according to researchers in an £800,000 taxpayer-funded project reported in the Telegraph.

Then write something better than Shakespeare and attract the audience you want. Take as long over this as you need…

…and can we have our £800,000 back please?

How dare a Medieval English playwright write plays about mainly white, able-bodied heterosexual men in a world where white, able-bodied heterosexual men mainly predominated! The gall! The arrogance! Nay, forsooth, the utter bumptiousness of the man…he should be put in the stocks and have trans people throw rainbow cabbages at him…

At the time Shakespeare was writing English society was led and was made up of a white male patriarchy and was inherently heterosexual. The idiots soaking the taxpayers for 800 grand while not understanding this need to be exported to a country that still pushes “male narratives,” somewhere like Pakistan or Afghanistan. Immersing themselves in a new culture will allow them to gain a much greater understanding and appreciation of the magnificence of Shakespeare and his works.

Soho Theatre tells white audience members to ‘check their privilege’” – White audience members attending a comedy show at an Arts Council-funded venue are being asked to “check their privilege at the door”

I think the show organisers could be had up for fraudulently claiming that people were about to attend a ‘comedy’ show. Woke can’t do comedy. They can rant for Texas but they can’t do comedy. There is nothing funny about a movement who can’t see the comedy gold that sits at its very heart.

“Check your privilege” should be the name of a new comedy show.

It’s bad enough for anyone to get cancer, let along someone young, but let’s not get too distracted.

According to the Prime Minister:

“When it comes to matters of health, like everyone else, she must be afforded the privacy to focus on her treatment and be with her loving family”.

He and all his colleagues were not concerned blocking access to cancer treatments and health care in-general a few years ago; preventing people from being with their “loving family” (with an exemption for government advisers until caught) and creating an environment where treatments were not to be considered private and people were targeted for not accepting certain treatments.

Fortunately for all of those cancer sufferers the government hasn’t already killed, there could be an mRNA vaccine along in the near future in need of some recipients.

Aside from that: all those conspiracy theories surrounding Mrs Windsor’s absence can be used to warm people to the idea of greater censorship.

Well I agree with this lady. If somebody seeks out Islam and wishes to convert of their own free will then that’s their business. But what seems to be happening, perhaps to a greater extent than we realise, is that they then go on this huge recruitment drive and embark on a mission to convert as many Westerners as they can. They want to ”move Britishness away from colonialism and genocide support”, apparently. This 3min vid gives a glimpse into the mentality of what we’re dealing with. They’re now going on about targeting ‘far-right’ people and even say they expect the likes of Tommy Robinson to convert to Islam in the future. Delusion off the charts; ”This is a great example of what happens when you move from highly delusional and fantasy prone to complete and utter psychotic schizophrenia. This is all that the entire global movement has been about… growing Islam and forming the worldwide caliphate as a means to hide what it really is and how in its extremist form is nothing more than an oppressive death cult.” https://twitter.com/CherylWroteIt/status/1771500445002829860 *Note: When I post stuff from Twitter I don’t know if non-account holders can access the links or not.… Read more »

No, it’s OK, Mogs, I can see the content and wished I hadn’t because now my blood pressure has shot through the roof! Two very deluded people talking about how Britain – a Christian country – has lost its religion and how the far-right haters ( I guess anyone who doesn’t want this country to become Muslim is labelled as such) need to be brought on side. But how silly of me to imagine that Islam is a not the religion of fluffy bunnywabbits with free houmous at the Mosque that goes around teaching us of tolerance and love. I must have missed the memo. I can imagine British women would be thrilled to hear this snippet of joy (from two weird men) that Islam is a patriarchal religion promoting family values, human rights, stonings, and public executions.

Mogwai

Yes exactly. Something which is seldom talked about but has been an ongoing issue for years is the forced conversions which happen in prisons. Now I think about it I wonder how many white Muslims there are knocking about who are ex cons, who’ve been radicalised when inside. There was somebody on GBN the other day talking about it. New prisoners get intimidated and threatened. You can see how it can easily become an effective means of self-preservation, in an environment such as that. Pretty hard to avoid these people if you’re locked up with them.
I suppose if they’re not doing a long stretch they can just ditch the pretence of being an actual Muslim convert once they get out, but the longer the time inside the more effective the brainwashing. Same goes for ‘moderate’ Muslims being radicalised and turning extremist when inside too.

L A Times Falsely Hypes a ‘Wild’ 2023-2024 Rainy Season while Concealing NOAA Climate Science Data Establishing this Season as Completely Normal” – The Times claims of “supercharged” and “wild” rainfall between December 2023 through February 2024 in California are false and pathetic, says Larry Hamlin in WUWT.

It’s why they worked so damn hard to get rid of any meaningful control group. They failed. Every single new ‘mysterious’ change to health should, of course, be monitored in relation to the control group i.e. us, the unvaccinated. The fact they refuse point blank to do that speaks for itself.

In other news, they’re now embarking on a new strategy to control the fuel supply: if you have a log burner you are killing other people by giving them cancer. The same tactic they used for ‘vaccines’ with Granny – create social outcasts and demonise them. What’s really going on?

Putin claims that his invasion of Ukraine is aimed at the ‘denazification’ of that country.

Meanwhile, in Russia itself:

‘Russia is currently conducting a force generation campaign that is alienating large numbers of migrants from economic and social life in Russia and making military service one of the few avenues for remaining in the country.

Russian force generation efforts and anti-migrant policies, an increasingly prominent ultranationalist movement that espouses xenophobic rhetoric, and an increasingly ultranationalist Kremlin that stresses the importance of Russian Orthodoxy in public life are likely further disenfranchising migrant communities and generating animosities that Salafi-Jihadi groups can exploit in recruitment efforts.’

One should ask, therefore:

Who are the real fascists here?

And why not do some reading yourself, for a change? ‘The Polish Armed Forces Operational Command (RSZ) said its forces were on a heightened state of readiness because of the “intensive long-range aviation activity of the Russian Federation tonight” and the missile attacks in Ukraine. “Polish and allied aircraft have been activated, which may result in increased noise levels, especially in the south-eastern part of the country,” it said (Sun 24 March) It later said Russia had violated Poland’s airspace with a cruise missile which “entered Polish space near the town of Oserdow (Lublin Voivodeship) and stayed there for 39 seconds”. “During the entire flight, it was observed by military radar systems,” it added. Poland said on Sunday it would demand an explanation from Moscow over the missile, which went 2km into Polish airspace, moving at a speed of almost 800 km/hour.’ Reading between the lines, the Russian missile was fired from Kaliningrad across the Polish Suwalki Corridor separating Kaliningrad from Belarus, making it quite clear that Russia does not accept Polish sovereignty over the Suwalki Corridor. So we can now see that, after Ukraine and Moldova, Poland is next, encircling the Baltic States. This is serious stuff; long past… Read more »

It would be quite normal for Poland to be upset at cruise missiles flying over its territory and also normal to express its outrage through diplomatic channels. Considering, however, that much of the western weaponry en route to Ukraine is transported via Poland, one can understand the Russians may be indifferent to such protests. But I see no reason to deduce that, because of this one incident, Russia intends to invade Moldova and Poland.

Was it not Poland claiming that western Ukraine, and particularly Lvov, was originally Polish for 400 years? And, as Putin explained in his long monologue to Tucker Carlson, parts of Romania and Hungary were also partitioned off to Ukraine after WWII, so what will actually happen when the war in Ukraine is concluded? Putin has already expressed he is not too interested in western Ukraine, indicating (to my understanding, at least) he would not object to western countries taking back the areas previously belonging to them. So, for Ukraine, the outlook is pretty dismal.

‘So, for Ukraine, the outlook is pretty dismal’ Eh? The outlook for both protagonists has been dreadful since 2014. Russia? ‘The wealth fund, which has taken years to build up its assets, is set to come under further pressure…….The Finance Ministry tapped around 3 trillion rubles from the fund to cover the budget deficit last year as it ramped up spending on the military and measures to cushion the economy. It plans to take another 1.3 trillion rubles this year. …….the remaining stock of the NWF’s liquid assets will continue to dwindle, making Russia increasingly vulnerable to shocks. It will last only another one to two years’ Alex Isakov ‘A Russian Storm-Z instructor noted that Russian authorities must consider the conflicting interests of the Russian military command, various groups of military personnel in Ukraine, and Russian society when deciding whether to conduct another wave of mobilization or not. The instructor claimed that Russian authorities have resorted to recruiting volunteer military personnel since they are concerned that another mobilization wave would likely spark social tension in Russia and lead to another mass exodus from the country.  ‘Verstka reported that employees of the military recruitment center in Moscow indicated that the pace of… Read more »

Having worked in air defence, 39 seconds is not long enough to identify, track and engage, even if you had an air defence missile system warmed up and near to the target track. It ain’t like the films in real life.

Then you will know that AWACS will pick it up at launch.

Polish air defence can receive AWACS target data, acquire and track it before it enters their airspace.

Or not really. What’s really going on? “Russian foreign policy has been one big red flag for ISIS [ISIL],” Michael Kugelman, director of the South Asia Institute at the Washington-based Wilson Center. “The Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, Russian actions in Chechnya, Moscow’s close relationships with the Syrian and Iranian governments, and especially the military campaigns that Russia has waged against ISIS fighters in Syria and — through Wagner Group mercenaries – in parts of Africa.” All of that has meant that Moscow has become a focus of ISKP’s “extensive propaganda war,” said Amira Jadoon, assistant professor at Clemson University in South Carolina and co-author of, The Islamic State in Afghanistan and Pakistan: Strategic Alliances and Rivalries. “Russia’s engagement in the global fight against ISIS and its affiliates, especially through its military operations in Syria and its efforts to establish connections with the Afghan Taliban – ISIS-K’s rival – marks Russia as a key adversary for ISIS/ISIS-K,” And terrorists always go for the easy targets: ‘Lax security is what made the Friday night attack on a concert hall just northwest of Moscow possible. “Guards are the most ridiculed and underpaid people in Russia,” said the 51-year-old teacher of Russian language and… Read more »

There you are…..you can do it……..

In fact ISW provide helpful translations, with assessment, from a range of sources, in this case:

https://tass.com

The exact Tass reference comes from last year.

Kirill Head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill of Moscow argued during a speech at the World Russian People’s Council on November 28 that Russia’s current migration policies allow self-segregated migrant communities in Russia to create “closed ethnic enclaves” that “are a breeding ground for corruption, organized ethnic crime, illegal migration, terrorism, extremism, and tension within Russian society.”

Kirill stated that a migrant’s economic productivity or Russian citizenship does not free them from the requirement to respect Russian society, people, and traditions. Kirill warned that migrants are “changing the appearance of Russian cities” and “deforming” Russia’s singular linguistic, cultural, and legal traditions. Kirill added that Russian companies’ profits cannot be more important than the values of the Russian state.’

Kirill’s remarks followed several weeks of increasingly frequent anti-migrant rhetoric within Russian society and presentations of anti-migrant legislation by Russian officials.

Kirill’s anti migrant xenophobic rhetoric reflects actual Russian government policy towards migrants, exposing the PR orientated vapourings of ‘Russkiy Mir’ for what they really are.

“Kemi Badenoch’s diversity crusade doesn’t go far enough” – It’s to the Equalities Minister’s credit that she has dared to champion “fairness and meritocracy”, says Laurie Wastell in the Spectator. But the truth is “neither will be achievable while the Equality Act’s Public Sector Equality Duty is the law of the land”. I went to see the film ‘Wicked Little Letters’ yesterday evening for some much needed r&r. It is a lovely little story based on true events and stars Olivia Colman and Timothy Spall. It is set – and this is poignant – in 1920s Littlehampton in Sussex. 1920s England, that is, 1920s. So I was not at all surprised to see…a black Judge, an Asian policewoman (who was actually white in real life), a black boyfriend of one of the main characters, a black postmistress, and another black policeman and many people of colour in the court room scene and various other scenes. I have nothing against people of colour at all but to bend the truth in this way so as to fit in with the diversity, equality and inclusivity agenda is just plain ridiculous. I enjoyed the film anyway but when the black judge appeared towards the… Read more »

I wish nothing less than a speedy recovery and happy, healthy, long life for the Princess of Wales and her family. I do want to point out that cancer among relatively young people is not extraordinarily unusual. Cancer is feared at least partly because it can develop to a point where it has become untreatable before significant symptoms appear. It is an unfortunate fact that some people die earlier than average and some suffer worse illnesses than others in the process. It is the nature of averages that this is so. In England and Wales, people who die aged 45-64 (a 20yr age span) represent about 12% of all the deaths each year. Males dying in this age group represent about 14% of all male deaths and females dying in this age group represent about 9-10% of all female deaths. On average, men die earlier in life than women.
