The headline says “Jewish lobby” but the content quotes it being the “Israel lobby”. That’s misleading.

The Israel lobby does have an insidious influence. Why else would the government provide “unequivocal” support for Israel, not just now but “always”? That’s a free-pass for all manner of horrors. The government doesn’t even exhibit that level of commitment domestically, preferring to treat us like an enemy.

“the pro-Israel lobby in our body politic is the most powerful political lobby. There’s nothing to touch them”

A report from 2014. Cameron, Netanyahu, slaughter in Gaza and silence from the UK regime. All very familiar.

“While it would be folly to overstate the Lobby’s power these is no doubt, as the occasional leaks suggest, that there is a well-oiled and well-financed machine at work, in which blackening the character of people opposed to or merely critical of Israel’s expansionist policies is part of the daily routine.”

Blackening the character of those even “merely critical”? Sounds insidious.

“Exposé unmasks Israel-led disinformation team that meddled in dozens of elections”

Then there’s the election meddling that we are only told the Russians do.

The “meddling” may have included secret promises to make Priti Patel the next UK Prime Minister, during her secret meetings with Israeli government officials while ostensibly “on family holiday”, which got her sacked by Teresa May. She should have been arrested for treason.

Then there was the odd decision by Teresa May on the night before taking office as Prime Minister. Instead of feverish preparations for the next day, she chose to have dinner alone with the UK’s chief rabbi.

Only a year later, Priti Patel was having secret meetings with a foreign power. Was May also angry that her replacement was already being lined up?

Civil servants threaten to strike over two days a week in the office” – ONS staff are threatening to strike over an instruction to return to the office, the Telegraph reports.

Ministers have been trying to pressure Whitehall staff back into the office at least 60pc of the time, or three days a week for full-time staff, over fears that working from home has reduced productivity and increased waiting times for services.

Fears? What, no evidence of lost productivity? That smacks of mis-management.

On a lighter note:

Others have imposed full-time office working. HS2 contractor Laing O’Rourke last month ordered staff back to the office full-time, warning that working from home had become a threat to the business and was affecting staff engagement.

I’d have thought building HS2 through your living room would make a hell of a mess. Still, better than ruining the countryside, eh?

Exactly.

I know a civil servant who much prefers to work from home as he is much more productive there. However he certainly would not go on strike over this – what he would do however is to take this into account when considering his options for the future, and give preference to opportunities that offered more flexibility. He would be a sad loss to the civil service as he is intelligent, hard working and “right wing”.

Anybody matching that description is in for a miserable future in the Civil Service and will have severley restricted promotion opportunities. Loners cannot fight the CS wokery and group think.

I can’t believe he has lasted as long as he has especially as he could easily walk into a private sector job. He is a lot more tolerant than I would be and I think his bosses so far have been actually quite reasonable.

The other thing to consider is that there is plenty of woke bullshit in the corporate private sector too

Depends what you are frying and what you fry it in. I have bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomato and sometimes a sausage, cooked in lard, almost every day and have never been slimmer. Lay off the heavy carbs, especially if cooked in processed vegetable oil, and you’ll never regret it.

I lost 2 stone last year doing similar, giving up carbs and enjoying butter, lard, bacon, cheese, etc. Read our friend Ivor Cummins on it. Blood sugar levels back under control, too

Exactly, including Ireland: 3 Indian Subcontinentals and 1 African. Northern Ireland soon to follow, no doubt.

Most of the Welsh commenters on various reports are livid that the Zambian wrecked the NHS when he was in charge of it, then wrecked the economy when he was put in charge of that, fully supported the 20mph limits, and was handed the leadership by a Trade Union Stitch-Up disqualifying the Indigenous Welsh candidate on a technicality.

Gender-neutral toilets at all Euro 2024 stadiums” . So these Rape Stations will be installed, despite the UK government reversing this policy for new buildings here.

Meanwhile the UN Secretary-General calls for global action to defend women’s rights, but only focuses on non-western countries. You really couldn’t make it up.
