Grassroots Police Fight Back Against Woke Trans Policies
Serving officers have established a gender-critical network to challenge self-ID policies they believe undermine public confidence and the law. The Mail has more.
The serving officers have launched the Police Sex Equality and Equity Network, accusing the service of “actions that embed gender ideology” within forces nationwide.
They called on bodies representing both rank and file officers, as well as chief constables, to recognise lobby groups and activists within policing in England and Wales had created a “culture of fear” among those holding gender-critical views.
The group said by focusing on gender issues, police forces risked undermining public confidence.
‘Police SEEN’ have said the group intends to emulate the civil service network, which was established “to re-focus attention on improving equality and equity between women and men”.
The group said in a statement: “Police SEEN warns that the influence of lobby groups and activists within U.K. policing has created a culture of fear which prevents officers and staff who believe there are two sexes and that sex is real and immutable, from speaking out, for fear of disciplinary action.
“They believe a formal internal network is desperately needed, not only to provide a voice and support for those who want to ensure the law is upheld, but also to restore political impartiality to policing.”
Examples cited by the group of gender ideology in the police service include recent guidance that would allow trans-officers to strip search people of the opposite biological sex.
The National Police Chiefs’ Council, which published the guidance, was forced to retract it and conduct a “thorough” review, following an outcry and concern from the Government. …
The group also accused police forces of routinely recording crime data based on gender self-ID, rather than biological sex, including in reports of rape – an offence which can only be committed by a man.
The National Police Chiefs Council, the Superintendents’ Association and the Police Federation, were all asked to support the new group, Police SEEN said.

On the face of it this seems like a worthwhile enterprise because the current state of policing in this country has not got far to travel before it hits rock bottom. YouTube is packed with vids of police personnel acting outside the law and dressed in apparel which looks like it was found in a refuse bin. However, it is a sad state of affairs when serving police staff feel so aggrieved that they need to form their own campaign group and their Manifesto has to be based on basic common sense. SEEN (Sex Equality and Equity Network – not hi-lighted in the article) is therefore a proper two fingered salute to the plod hierarchy and rightly so. Hopefully, some good will come from SEEN although I suspect the initial reaction from upstairs might be vengeful. All the best to the police officers with the balls to challenge their “bosses” and possibly some goodness will come from this. Becoming figures of ridicule for going down on one knee to BLM, making cups of tea for JSO, arresting lone women for silently praying and telling a pianist he cannot refer to chinese people as Chinese is not a good look for… Read more »

Met Police recruiting officers ‘who can’t read and write English’, blasts former detective (gbnews.com)
Indeed. As pointed out in my initial comment YouTube has plenty of vids of barely English speaking plods and I would be amazed if those who barely speak English can write it. So are they writing in Urdu in their little black books? Are we then paying for a translator?
‘Diversity is our strength.’
Do me a favour!
This goes back a long way. A young lad joined my team in the mid-90s fresh from training school. He told me there was a recruit in training school with him who was a traveller. He said that not only could the traveller not read, (the Job was paying tutors to teach him how to read and write), but his registered address was No Fixed Abode.
It was one of those Job stories you just had to shake your head at. The ‘diversity is our strength’ industry started very early in the police service.
Whatever your social and racial background, *surely* there are some basic requirements for joining a job where reading and writing *and speaking English clearly* is essential.
Exhibit A: these idiots
Yes. And taxpayers money to pay for these clown outfits.
Downright insulting.
Village People – the movie.
I’d believe anything these days, but I am wondering (hoping) if this image is AI generated?
That’s what I assumed too, it just seems to be that step too far even for the insanity we see around us, but either way it demonstrates a more important point – that it easily could be real and it’s impossible to tell any more.
This is fantastic news, and exactly what is needed: people grouping together to fight back against the Globalist madness affecting every aspect of our lives.
May I just take issue with the statement “in reports of rape – an offence which can only be committed by a man.”
That is not actually true, and it’s time Men’s Rights groups started protesting about it. I remember reading years ago about an African American preacher who was raped by 3 evil women of his flock, who pinned him down and forced an involuntary physical reaction. He was later traumatised and ashamed, reporting it to the police.

I read the story with a certain dismay that we are permitting any officers to form their own little political groups while they are serving. They swear an oath of allegiance to the King and to uphold the law, not get mired in political gesturing.
But the law has now become political gesturing itself, and we are being pushed into a “Judocracy” = “Rule by Judges”, who are not answerable to anyone, and override the executive (monarch) and legislative branches of government. No one voted for that.
