Seriously, WTF is this? Well I suppose when we look at who has been rewarded with knight/damehoods over here for playing their part in crimes against humanity then of course a terrorist organization is going to be classed as the ‘good guys’. I mean, now the world has done a full ‘180’, why wouldn’t it?

”OSLO, Norway — A Norwegian politician said Thursday that he has nominated the UN Palestinian refugee agency UNRWA, embroiled in a controversy over the alleged involvement of employees in the Hamas-led October 7 terror onslaught against Israel, for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Labour MP Asmund Aukrust told the Dagbladet newspaper he had nominated the UN Relief and Works Agency “for its long-term work to provide vital support to Palestine and the region in general.”

The Norwegian Nobel Committee announce their winner in October.
Last year, the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to imprisoned Iranian woman’s rights activist Narges Mohammadi “for her fight against the oppression of women in Iran.”

If nothing else I find most people are willing to engage in a debate about this (in contrast to anything about the jabs being a problem).

‘Do you think they didn’t inform Putin, or he just doesn’t give a f*ck?’

Putin, like most Russians grew up with the image of The Motherland calls and the Eternal flame; https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/the-motherland-calls The history of the battle of Kursk and Stalingrad are burned deep in the Russian psyche. The question seems to be does the USA/Europe/NATO have the same battle hardened psychology to match that of Russia? I am at a loss as to know what USA/NATO/Europe are realistically expecting will be the final result of the Ukraine War? It is difficult not to feel that they are stringing this war along because it would be politically embarrassing to call a halt now, even though it seems inevitable that some sort of negotiated settlement will eventually need to be reached. With the Battle of Kursk it was the allied invasion of Sicily that diverted German war efforts and helped the Russians win that key battle. The Russians know their history There is now a shift of USA focus to the Middle East and the Far East such that one wonders if Ukraine will go the same way as the Battle of Kursk? If it does that will be a tremendous loss of life to achieve a worse settlement than could have been achieved if… Read more »

They are stringing this war along because it’s politically purposeful, not that it’s politically embarrassing. The politics being deployed are the politics of a global elite who’s goal it is to reshape the economical and societal systems of the West. To achieve that goal minds need to be raped and countries need to burn. Literally. The more the better. When the body count is high enough and the coffers have been emptied they will offer salvation through a new system; one that will be rebadged communism. It is even possible that Putin is complicit.

Or:

Putin’s strategic goal is a ‘Union State’ incorporating Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova and the Baltic States with a new ‘iron curtain’ from Kaliningrad to Odesa.

And the U.S. strategy of ‘We want to see Russia weakened to the degree that it can’t do the things that it has done in Ukraine’ is designed to prevent that (including the war between Russia and NATO that would result) from happening.

That is, of course, a possibility. I believe, however, that that possibility is as likely as the possibility of the whole covid sham being explained by incompetence. The US gets its grubby mitts over everything, and I see no reason to believe anything to the contrary with respect that particular conflict. It serves their endgame far too conveniently.

The thing is, can one really believe that the total no hopers running things are capable of a global conspiracy? Someone crunched some numbers: ‘Using the equation, Dr Grimes calculated that hoax moon landings would have been revealed in 3 years 8 months, a climate change fraud in 3 years 9 months, a vaccination conspiracy in 3 years 2 months, and a suppressed Cancer cure in 3 years 3 months. In simple terms, any one of the four conspiracies would have been exposed long before now. He then looked at the maximum number of people who could take part in an intrigue in order to maintain it. For a plot to last five years, the maximum was 2521 people. To keep a scheme operating undetected for more than a decade, fewer than 1000 people can be involved. A century-long deception should ideally include fewer than 125 collaborators. Even a straightforward cover-up of a single event, requiring no more complex machinations than everyone keeping their mouth shut, is likely to be blown if more than 650 people are accomplices. Dr Grimes said: ‘Not everyone who believes in a conspiracy is unreasonable or unthinking. I hope that by showing how eye-wateringly unlikely… Read more »

The reason the U.S. is ‘stringing this war along’ is clear. That is their strategy:

‘We want to see Russia weakened to the degree that it can’t do the kinds of things that it has done in invading Ukraine’

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin 25 Apr 2022

Kursk, and the diversion of resources away from Manstein at a critical phase towards Sicily, underlined the importance of Alanbrooke’s Italian strategy and coherent war strategy in general. The invasion of Sicily provided many lessons vital to success in Normandy the following year, not least in demonstrating to the Americans the extreme difficulty of such an operation.

The Ukrainians will only ever accept a settlement in a spirit of expediency; the Russians the same. That is as true now as it was at the time of Putin’s invasion. That is the ‘Soviet’ mindset of both parties to the conflict.

The only end likely is one similar to Korea, a Military Demarcation Line and Demilitarised Zone.

We certainly appear to be some way away from that at the moment.

So the U.S. strategy re Putin’s invasion of Ukraine (again), whatever one may think of it, appears to be going quite well.

I would say it’s not going well for Ukrainians, unless you truly believe that Russia has serious ambitions to annex the whole country and this is the only way to prevent that eventually happening.

Monro

Quite so.

It hasn’t been going well for the Ukrainians since 2014.

Putin has said he doesn’t exactly know how much of Ukraine he will annex but his intention seems to include Odesa and seems likely to find a defensible line northwards from there to Kaliningrad, which would include the Suwalki corridor, so engaging NATO.

The “Catholic province” (Western Ukraine as part of five regions) is unlikely to become part of the pro-Russian territories. The line of alienation, however, will be found empirically.’

Are Europeans entitled to a better political class?” Suggests we get what we deserve.
Another less parochial and good read on this topic, concluding it’s time for action, is Omar Khan’s latest blog (with a reminder of Voltaire’s observation “Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.”):

Absolute vindication of Ciaran Jenkins today, which he celebrates by calmly skewering Liar Sturgeon” Although Sturgeon has admitted deleting WhatsApp messages that could throw considerable light on the decisions and policy making/breaking going on behind the scenes with key members of the Covid response, I am fairly certain that these will be held on a server somewhere so, could be retrievable. For instance, if an ordinary citizen had committed some crime and admitted to it over WhatsApp, I am pretty sure the police would have ways of getting those messages back. Also, what about requesting the messages between her and all the recipients including Yousaf, Drakeford, Sridhar etc? If they had also deleted these messages then that would be interesting. Clearly Sturgeon had something to hide – she’s a slippery customer but then she’s a seasoned treacherous politician too. She should be in jail. Just accepting that the messages are gone and that’s OK then shows what a sham circus this is – which of course we all know.

Krankie admits she deleted hundreds of messages and that apparently is the end of the matter.

I see.

Mass migration will permanently alter Britain” Of course it will. That’s the point to destroy our culture and way of life and to create division, enmity, hatred even. Many immigrants just want an easy life and they certainly get that here in woke Britain. They don’t want to assimilate and would rather not learn English or learn our ways. They want US to learn THEIR ways and to adapt OUR country to suit THEM. I’m not talking about the many fine Indian, Pakistani, Carribean and African people who have come here and fitted in and there are many of them. I’m talking about the ones who have come here to take and abuse the hospitality of this country and its people and then cry ‘racism’ when they are called out for not adopting at least the basic principles of living here. I’m worried more for our children and theirs because if we don’t watch out, this country will be something altogether different in 10, 15, 20 years. Already there are ‘no go’ areas and this is bound to get worse. There is no easy solution but putting a stop to the influx would be a start.

“A solar-powered school – what could possibly go wrong?” – It’s unclear when it become socially acceptable to scare children, in this case into thinking they might be the last generation on Earth, says Tom Ed on Substack. What a brilliant learning opportunity: It would cost a bit, but could be worth it for the grounding in STEM subjects it would give. No, I’m not suggesting actually installing solar panels on the entire roof. Just one panel with some interconnect and battery storage to measure and use the power that is generated. The school could then provide the kids with the table of daily/hourly power output and the power consumption (gas and electricity) by the school. The kids could survey the dimensions and observe the materials of the school buildings (x square metres of brick wall, y square metres of double glazing, z square metres of felt roof etc). The kids could attempt to calculate the size of the required installation to meet the consumption and they might be set essay tasks to suggest ways that energy consumption could be reduced (perhaps provided with additional data concerning insulation heat flows). The kids could also undertake weather observations (hours of sunlight,… Read more »

The plot to replace Rishi Sunak with Kemi Badenoch: ‘She has X Factor’
“She is the only member on the Right, Tory rebels feel, who can unite the party, according to the Times.”

I never heard anything so ridiculous. The party members were never asked if they wanted a Hindu Billionaire to be PM, and now they’re trying to force a Nigerian into that post. When was the last time we had a Welshman, or Northern Irishman, as PM? We’ve had gangs of Scots in that post, but hardly any Englishmen. It’s just part of the Globalist agenda to utterly destroy the British Isles.

Badenoch once said she was “proud to be part of The Project that is Great Britain”.

“Project”??? What “Project”? Were the British Taxpayers ever asked about that?

For tomorrow, British (and British funded) study and data used and published in the Lancet:

“Jab math for children: Vaccinate almost 38,000 kids (with hundreds of serious side effects), stop one Covid hospitalization
You read that right. 38,000 to 1, per a new British study. At best. Not counting side effects.

For people aged 16-74, the results were hardly better. The jabs were only about 30 percent effective against hospitalization or death (not infection).”
