““War with Russia is coming. Britain is determined to lose” – Our Armed Forces are no longer fit to fight. They’ve been hollowed out by budget cuts and wokery, says Con Coughlin in the Telegraph”

Only if the UK (and by extension, the USA, due to the special relationship), is indeed stupid enough to get into a hot war with Russia (and/or China). And if Putin is in fact stupid enough to actually take the bait (or vice-versa). But one thing is certain. There won’t need to be very many, if any, boots on the ground. It will start out as a primarily air war, and ultimately end in a nuclear holocaust. And NO ONE wins a nuclear war. NO ONE.

As Sting once sang, “I hope the Russians love their children too”.

note how the Psyops team have once again ramped up fear in the population based on what? Has Putin states he intends to try a Hitler and take over Europe? If so the censorship complex must be working really well, because I havent heard it. Why are the Governments across the west with the MSM once again in collusion on this? just like Covid. They need to keep the population alarmed, terrified, also the flirtation with conscription, look what they did to us during Covid, locked us up, killed our elderly, damaged our children, inflicted gene therapy experimental injections on us, those that didn’t take were at the hands of the Government victimised, and the majority of the population went along, they in Fergusons words,”Got away with it”. Now emboldened and worried about losing their controls with many elections coming up, particularly America, they are pushing further, will we give up our children to die to fight a war they are inciting in order to allow them to not only retain but increase control over us, such that the population finally become the slaves that they have been working to create. We are being played, the MSM are slathering for… Read more »

You didn’t hear it because you aren’t listening. ‘The collective West itself is the designer, source and sponsor of Ukrainian Nazism…..not just the Bandera version of Nazi Ukraine will be eradicated, but including, and above all, Western totalitarianism….The line of alienation, however, will be found empirically…..’ RIA NOVOSTI 04 April 2022 ‘….President Putin set out his reasons for invading Ukraine……he described how the Soviet Union had been broken up by ‘a truly fatal document, the so-called ethnic policy of the party in modern conditions……It is now that radicals and nationalists, including and primarily those in Ukraine, are taking credit for having gained independence. As we can see, this is absolutely wrong. The disintegration of our united country was brought about by the historic, strategic mistakes on the part of the Bolshevik leaders and the CPSU leadership, mistakes committed at different times in state-building and in economic and ethnic policies’ For Putin, the consequence of this ‘mistake’ – which his policy in Ukraine aimed to correct – was not restricted to Ukraine but also encompassed Belarus, Moldova and the Baltic states. ‘Putin…..claimed that Latvia and other Baltic nations were “simply throwing out” ethnic Russian people from their borders: ‘You see, these are very serious things that directly affect our national security’ Putin said’

18 Jan 2024

‘Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia agreed on Friday to set up a common Baltic defense zone on their borders with Russia and Belarus amid growing security concerns.’

19 Jan 2024

‘(Putin) took aim at Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania for tearing down old Soviet war memorials – icons that many in those countries view as symbols of oppression: “This is stunning ignorance and lack of understanding of where they live, what they are doing and what will follow,” he said during a visit to the Kant Baltic Federal University, (Kaliningrad).

The strategic plan is, quite clearly, to set up a ‘Union State’ of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, establishing a new iron curtain from Kaliningrad to Odesa.

The Baltic States will be encircled via the capture of the Sowalki corridor in Poland; war with NATO. That is why Poland is in the process of acquiring 1250 new main battle tanks (Britain has roughly 120, probably one regiment deployable, so an expeditionary force of a single infantry heavy armoured brigade)

The previous Latvian minister of defense, Artis Pabriks, suggested in July 2022 that Russia could be ready to launch a new conflict again within only two years.

The Estonian Foreign Intelligence Service’s February 2023 report suggested that Russian capabilities in the vicinity of the Russo-Estonian border could be quantitatively reconstituted in up to four years, although the Service appears to admit implicitly that it will take Russia much longer to recover qualitatively.

More optimistic is the independent military analyst Konrad Muzyka, who suggested as early as May 2022 that Russia might plausibly require 15 to 20 years to rebuild its armed forces, especially in adverse economic conditions.

15 to 20 years seems overly optimistic.

Ten years for Russian recovery seems likely.

As the former Downing Street national security adviser Kim Darroch points out, a Putin victory in Ukraine would not necessarily mean tanks rolling immediately into neighbouring Nato countries.

But it might start with the systematic destabilisation of countries such as Latvia and Estonia, which have sizeable Russian-minority populations, with Moscow funding and fuelling separatist movements to create a fake pretext for invading and “rescuing” them.

Excellent post by Hester. We need a national referendum to let the people decide whether they want to go to war against Russia, or become entangled in any other foreign war, because the people will be paying for everything, as usual.

The only act of war which is lawful, legal & legitimate is defending the sovereign territory of the nation state from military action by another nation state. The Falklands War was lawful, legal & legitimate. UK military action on the European continent in 1939-1945 was not, the aerial Battle of Britain over British territory was. The more recent military campaigns in Iraq, Afghanistan do not fulfil the criteria of lawful, legal & legitimate military intervention.
See https://www.probityco.com/ for the various treaties to which the UK is signed up outlawing war.

My pleasure! I only learned about this recently, very recently & am now firmly standing my ground against HMRC & local council as they try to bully, threaten & frighten me into a treasonous act of funding war & terrorism by making threats & in the case of HMRC telling me that all taxes paid into the consolidated fund are “only used for lawful & legal purposes.”

Something very serious is brewing.

This sabre rattling against Russia is so completely out of context, so delusional and yet keeps reappearing.

My take is that the financial system is on the verge of collapse and they’re going to launch us into war to make the war the culprit, so the population coalesces around the ruling class rather than revolt against them.

Yes, Stewart, I can imagine that they need to get a few more pieces into place before they pull the plug: ratify the pandemic treaty; introduce CBDCs (not so easy); digital IDs and potential war on the horizon. Essentially, they need all their ducks lined up so that control can be exerted at the pull of a switch. Just dropping us all into chaos without these pieces in place might be counter-productive.

I’d rather be concerned about whether we still love our children, especially the white ones… Putin&Russia are very cognizant of history and definitely not stupid. They know that it’s impossible to occupy a hostile nation successfully. And why should they want Western ones? They have enough land and resources themselves, as for the people, don’t be ridiculous. Their interest is in long term access to flourishing Western economies markets, and that can only be brought about by time, diplomacy and these nations themselves, who eventually need Russian resources for that. The 3 Western areas where they have justified strategic interests are Estonia’s discriminated against Russian minority, access to and from Kaliningrad and Transnistria. It is entirely in Western countries’ hands to keep the lid on these. Our coordinated rhetoric is indeed deeply concerning. At best, it’s saber rattling to keep the spigots open for the MIC. It is encouraging that the conscription trial balloon has been shot down vigorously in the UK- sadly in Germany it wasn’t. But that also means 2 further things here: On the British military’s side, it is clear to them that they have no public support anymore for their current setup , orientation and wet… Read more »

You are completely correct re territorial defence as that is the only lawful, legal & legitimate form of military intervention. Attaching UK forces to deploy alongside US forces breaches the international treaties (Kellogg-Briand 1928 & UN Charter 1945) to which the UK is a signatory.

If you want to stop funding unlawful acts of war & acts of treason, ensuring that you do not commit treason yourself by funding war, have a look into paying your taxes into a revocable, conditional trust. All lawful but upsets those who want your taxes in their coffers without any conditions attached rather jumpy & they push back hard. This point in the tax year is the perfect time to do your research & get trust deeds witnessed to send to HMRC, local council etc By paying into a revocable conditional trust with HM Government as the Primary Beneficiary, you have lawfully settled those tax demands.

What is not being published in the MSM is that the UK government signed up to two international treaties – Kellogg-Briand Treaty 1928 & UN Charter 1945 – which means that any act of war other than defending the territory of the nations state from attack by the military of another nation state is illegal & unlawful. Any other discussions relating to conscription, justifications on various grounds are totally null & void as any act of war other than defence of the territory is illegal & unlawful. Once you get your head around that, it is much easier to stand up against the bullying state as the vast majority of folk have no wish to act unlawfully, illegally or illegitimately. “War was outlawed in 1928 when we signed and ratified the General Treaty for the Renunciation of War, which is often referred to as the Kellogg Briand Pact. So it is never legal, lawful or legitimate to wage war, or to fund war. The only occasion in international law when the use of armed force is lawful is when a State is under attack by the armed forces of another State and needs to defend itself and repel its attackers.… Read more »

Thanks. I think it would be providing support but for those in the UK, Minister of State for the Middle East Tariq Ahmad speaking on behalf of your government still doesn’t think so.

26 Nov 2023 – “We understand that Qatar hosts a political office of Hamas in Doha, but this is not the same as providing support.”

22 Jan 2024 – “In our view hosting a political office of Hamas in Doha is not the same as providing support.”

This was in response to questions on the well-reported Qatari funding of Hamas which was not to be acknowledged under any circumstances it seems. Promoting terrorist organisations is okay as long as it’s in a country where it is politically expedient to do so.

‘Eurabia’ is coming, according to this German expert; ”Islam is on the verge of completely taking over Europe, in all ways — at least according to one who should know, Hans-Georg Maaßen, Germany’s top domestic intelligence chief from 2012 to 2018. In a recent interview, he stressed several points that spell the imminent downfall of Europe to Islam. His warnings are buttressed by disturbing demographic changes. According to conservative estimates from Pew Research, over the next 25 years — meaning most of the current generation’s lifetime — Europe’s Muslim population will triple to a staggering 76 million. During his interview, Hans-Georg Maaßen said that these large numbers are intentional, and the work of Europe’s ruling elite. For this intelligence chief, the “great replacement” theory is no myth. The more ideologically mixed a population is forced into becoming, the less able it is to identify itself, much less protect any beliefs: [O]ur politicians want a different population. The political left follows the course of the anti-German ideology. The more heterogeneous a population, the less able it is to articulate itself and have a democratic say. The more politics accept immigrants from other countries as they see fit and grants them citizenship, the more politics… Read more »

‘Eurabia’ is coming, according to this French expert; ”Former DGSE (General Directorate for External Security) agent Pierre Martinet, who served in a specialized French intelligence agency, delivered a chilling warning about the impending Islamic threat to Europe in an interview on the Les Bâtisseurs podcast. Martinet, a veteran of the 3rd Marine Infantry Parachute Regiment (3e RPIMa), foresees a terrifying future where Europe faces complete Islamization within the next 50-70 years. The portion of the interview presented below unravels the profound ideological threat posed by Islam, particularly the role of the Muslim Brotherhood, in the unsettling transformation of Europe. According to Martinet, the most significant and effective aspect of this threat is the ideological component. He contends that the religious demands of daily life, driven by Islamic ideologies, are slowly eroding the foundations of European societies. In his view, this ideological force is more potent than violence or external funding. Martinet points out that this ideological challenge is particularly formidable because it targets the secular values that underpin European societies. While France has a strong tradition of secularism (laïcité), other European countries lack similar mechanisms to address this ideological encroachment effectively. He warns that the Muslim Brotherhood’s project to Islamize Europe… Read more »

Perfect example here, Freddo. As we on here already know, the people who make the rules have the ability to change the rules, and all of this mass immigration could be stopped tomorrow. But the fact is the globalist traitors *choose* to allow what is happening to our countries, they are the architects of our demise, and it’s all by design. We here on DS know this to be true and I think more and more regular folk are becoming clued up on what’s occurring too; ”Hardline measures to restrict rights and access to benefits for immigrants are incompatible with the French constitution and must be scrapped, the country’s top constitutional court ruled on Thursday. The Constitutional Council was reviewing the new immigration bill passed by French lawmakers last month. The legislation was eventually passed with the help of right-wing MPs after significant amendments were tabled by the National Rally to toughen up the law. The court essentially watered down the bill, returning it to the unedited state proposed by Emmanuel Macron’s governing party, which hardline conservatives considered to be too lightweight. In doing so, it annulled some of the more radical amendments — 32 articles in total out of… Read more »

You’re right, WW, about conscription being an ‘earworm’. The word is appearing everywhere thanks to the idiot Sanders, who I believe has now thankfully left the army, but the idea is still floating about. Of course, the actual notion is ridiculous but now it’s ‘out there’, it will be talked about endlessly by the chattering classes and batted this way and that and no doubt tied into ‘our commitments’ to Ukraine as underlined by our unelected PM and Foreign Sec. This Ukraine money-laundering project, which people here still believe is akin to the Spanish republicans bravely fighting the fascists in the Spanish Civil War and for which we have to suffer the sight of so many of these ghastly blue and yellow flags, many now rather ragged and faded, rumbles on as the magic money tree seems inexhaustible – which it is if you’re printing the stuff. The likes of Victoria Nuland however and that other mad f*ck, Bolton, spur this on and we’ve got our own nut job Tobias Ellwood who stirs the pot and gets all steamy at the idea of a full on war with Russia. Honestly, where do all these people come from? Conscription? War with… Read more »

Quite so Aethelred – I think the discussion above with JayBee, Stewart and your good self also applies. As well as all the points raised here and by the redoubtable Neil Oliver I’ve linked elsewhere, what I want to know, even if conscription did occur, how are they going to arm the cannon fodder in a country undergoing rapid deindustrialisation? We won’t be making steel for much longer (tanks? planes?? munitions???); we’ve only got one operational coal fired generator struggling to meet existing demand and are having to buy leccy from France; we’re facing a significant LNG shortage due to Qatar suspending deliveries, and dependence on windmills for power has shown to be a total farce. Are we planning to buy arms from overseas? US delivery of weapons to Ukraine is drying up as they funnel more into Israel but they are beginning to falter there too as their own output struggles. Will we try and buy materials & weapons from Russia, China or North Korea – currently the only countries with significant arms production – so we can fight….. Russia, Iran (who have just signed an accord with Russia) and China? This is yet more psy-ops bait and switch,… Read more »

The idea of conscription provides the illusion of Great Britain – the Battle of Britain, the Dambusters, Waterloo – maybe this is an attempt to conjure the gung-ho spirit. As you have pointed out WW we are a nation in rapid industrial decline. We can not even arm the forces currently employed so conscription is not even remotely on the cards. So why is the subject being raised? Fear? Possibly, but I believe something else is going on although what that is I’m not sure.

In fact the way things are going this country could be back to medieval times by 2030 with a half-starved, ragged population shuffling about in 15 minute walks.
