How free speech is being hacked to death: Simplicius76 on Substack and how he and others are being targeted both through Substack and through Stripe, the payment system (which, incidentally, has kyboshed a natural product company I use. Captured, much?)

Terrific Brownstone article on how the globalists’ ‘pandemic preparedness’ schtick doesn’t seem to take account of actual risks.

Trans row causes Labour to lose safe council”

Sqwakbox has a very different take on this! The Tory who won was previously a LibDem, votes gained were mainly from the LibDems, and in their view it was more to do with anti-Starmerism and local ethnicity than the trans teapot storm!

“….a long march through the institutions”

‘….in the new order, Socialism will triumph by first capturing the culture via infiltration of schools, universities, churches, and the media by transforming the consciousness of society.”

Antonio Gramsci

‘…..a strategy for class-cultural hegemony achieved by progressively expanding socialist ideology from the top down.’

‘….it wasn’t until the late 1990s (Clinton/Blair/Brown) that things began to skew heavily left in academia.’

‘ The strategy aimed at shaping collective consciousness seems to have backfired, as the population, witnessing the institutional embrace of socialist ideologies, lost faith in the very institutions ostensibly meant to guide them.’

‘Gramsci gets the last laugh. If the “long march” ends with a complete overhaul or elimination of major institutions themselves, then perhaps his goal of societal revolution will have been accomplished. Not quite in the way he imagined, but a revolution all the same.’

I note the measles marketing campaign fails to mention the importance of good diet and nutritional supplements to mitigate the disease. Vitamin A supplementation for a start. How many children get an egg for breakfast nowadays?

Multivitamins would go a long way to preventing severe childhood illness, but the fear porn articles never mention them!

It also does not mention that Measles had declined since WWII only to increase again after “vaccinations” began in the 1960’s…? No connection of note….apparently.

Not caused by climate change, then.

If there were no climate change, there would be no fruit-loops driven mad by it to set forest fires, and therefore no increase in forest fires caused by climate change. Do try and keep up!

“An alcohol ban is beginning to look inevitable” – Ross Clark in the Telegraph says it’s only a matter of time before the nanny state decides to ban alcohol.

They will never ban alcohol. Never. Provide official advice on “safe limits” and appear to discourage it maybe, but never an all-out ban. Why? Because it’s the single most effective way of keeping the proles in check. It’s a distraction that numbs the senses and provides fleeting moments of happiness. Fleeting moments of happiness lives can revolve around. Fleeting moments of happiness that make you look the other way. No, remove the elixir and the proles may just notice something is rotten to the core… not just notice, but be angry and focused enough to do something about it. Alcohol is here to stay.

The Puritans are on the march
Maybe, but there seems to be a strong strand of puritanism running through humanity and it has been much in evidence in recent times. I am sure it’s roots are complex in psychology but it seems related to power, control and a fear of people enjoying themselves.
It does not seem enough for some people that they sit in abject misery with their head stuck where the sun don’t shine, they seem to want everyone to do the same. Fortunately yeast is everywhere and people have made use of it throughout history, long may it’s use continue.

Look at the changing religious mud in this country. It won’t just be alcohol that is banned but various personal preferences too. Wake up gays.

With regards to the articles above about the headteacher fighting against Islamification of her school, she definitely must win because this example from Germany is what happens if you don’t set firm boundaries and rules from the get-go. Schools should not be bending over for Islam. ( in German ); ”High school students wanted to enforce ultra-strict Islamic rules at a comprehensive school in Neuss and behaved like a “Sharia police”. They rejected democracy and put their classmates under pressure. BILD now learned from classmates how the Islamists put pressure on the school. It is a frightening event that took place in the middle of Germany. Some young men from this group left school before classes ended on Friday to attend a Friday prayer at a mosque. “There was a clear message from the teachers that they were not allowed to do this,” said a student to BILD. Even when Muslim teachers were called in and explained to the students (led by a 19-year-old ringleader from the 12th grade) that they could postpone their Friday prayers as this was permitted by religion, this had no effect. A short time later, these students demanded a prayer room. There were complaints from… Read more »

Further account from a teacher. ( German ); ”Teacher Birgit Ebel tells “Bild” that she teaches German and history at the Herford comprehensive school in North Rhine-Westphalia. Ebel is certain: “In my opinion, never before has there been such a commitment to radical Islam from students as there is now.” Especially since Hamas’ terrorist attack on Israel, there has been an increased “open, loud commitment to the Muslim world” at her school, which has around 800 students. “Many people haven’t done that before,” says Birgit Ebel. The attack caused an emotional reaction among the students. “Many of them have no idea, but they still have an opinion.” Some students in the schoolyard shout “Hamas, Hamas!” or write “Free Palestine” on the blackboard. The students in question also show no respect for Birgit Ebel as a teacher, on the contrary. Because the teacher, as a member of the Green Party and the “Kurdish Community of Germany” association, is clearly against racism, some students have already insulted her as a “Jewish whore”. Things are similarly bad at other schools – even without “Shariah police”. “I know of cases from other schools where almost 20 teachers of high school students with a migrant background feel sexually harassed and… Read more »

The banning of Christian praye is the root cause of every problem the UK faces today.
When I was a schoolboy, mid 60s to late 70s, every day we had morning assembly, the Lord’s prayer and a Psalm read out.
It established a Christian framework for everything the school did and shaped the lives of millions.
Blair killed this off. Successive woke governments criminalised Christianity.
When men give up on God, God gives up on men.

And yet Bliar converted to Roman Catholicism. Given that many RC schools still incorporate religious services and icons in their buildings, was religion only given up in Anglican and Protestant schools?
