More Than 200,000 Pro-Palestinian Protestors March Through London Chanting Support for Houthi Rebel Attacks

More than 200,000 pro-Palestinian protesters, among them Sinn Fein President Mary Lou McDonald and former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, marched through London amid escalating tensions in Yemen. The Mail has more.

More than 200,000 Pro-Palestinian protesters have started marching through London for the first major demonstration of 2024 — as the Metropolitan Police confirmed it had moved in to make six arrests.

Around 1,700 police officers from the Met and other U.K. forces have been mobilised amid fears the escalating tension in Yemen will bring more activists to the streets of the capital.

Iran-backed Houthi rebels, whose slogan includes “Death to Israel” and “Curse the Jews”, have targeted commercial ships passing through the Red Sea in a show of solidarity with Palestine.

Some protesters appeared to agree with the actions, chanting: “Yemen, Yemen, make us proud, turn another ship around” as they marched through the capital.

Others waved Palestine flags, chanted “Free, free Palestine” and lit flares as they marched from Queen Victoria Street towards Parliament Square, calling for a ceasefire in war-torn Gaza.

Just Stop Oil protesters in fluorescent orange vests also joined the action, sharing a video of their activists clutching large banners walking alongside other activists.

Some protesters wearing masks of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were seen holding bloodied dolls up in the air in a bid to highlight the civilian lives being lost in the Middle East war. …

Protesters marched to Trafalgar Square, where speakers, including Sinn Finn President Mary Lou McDonald, Palestinian U.K. ambassador Husam Zomlot and former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, spoke out in support of Palestinians.

Mr. Zomlot accused the British Government of “complicity” with Israel. He told the protesters Palestine was a “nation of freedom fighters”, saying: “I stand before you with a broken heart but not a broken spirit.”

He congratulated South Africa for bringing a genocide case against Israel at the UN’s International Court of Justice. …

Labour MP for Coventry South Zarah Sultana described the air strikes as “shameful, deplorable and beyond unacceptable”, adding that they were “not in our name”.

Worth reading in full.

Stop Press: The New York Post reports protests outside the Yemen Mission in New York City condemning U.S. attacks on Houthi rebels, where some demonstrators assaulted a couple holding an Israeli flag, shouting, “Long live Hamas, you piece of s–t!”

Between this and the Post Office conspiracy: it’s been a great month so far to bury the COVID inquiry delay and ever-present excess deaths.

You know society is broken beyond repair, don’t you? There’s no coming back from this now. The Left are achieving what they’ve desired all along; the weakening and ultimate destruction of the West. The Powers That Be have allowed, encouraged, funded, turned a blind eye so much that the Left now are in control pretty much everywhere.

Not even a Reform government can stop this juggernaut.

The best we can all do now is to do what we need to protect ourselves and our families. Be prepared to stop at nothing to ensure that protection, because the Left will stop at nothing.

Anyone who still believes there’s a Left and a Right in politics really doesn’t understand the game. It’s a puppet show – all fake to entertain the unthinking, unquestioning masses while the BoE steals our wallets.

It would be The Left IS in control. If indeed there was a Left and a Right.

I think it might have nothing to do with left or right but everything to do with the young having investigated the issue and idealistically revolting against a mind numbing status quo; the same establishment which cannot conceive of clearing out the country of recent uncalled for immigrants though the indigenous may not realise this, before their minds become blunted and exhausted by the daily needs of familial responsibility and perhaps an instinctive realisation that it is surprisingly easy to look the other way from slaughter as one ages because what one really wants is peace.
On this really very precious isle we have no idea what it is to be in hub of murder.

Britain’s future – Muslim.
200.000 today. 300.000 a few weeks ago screaming support for the Gazan Jihad fomented by an offshoot of the Nazi inspired Muslim Brotherhood called Hamas. This depravity is now described as moral, ‘freedom supporting’.

Over Christmas in Nigeria, 18 Churches were torched, women raped, a few men killed, homes burnt and 30.000 Black Christians forced into exile – perpetrated by Black Muslim Fulani tribes. The Guardtard blamed it on Climate. The CC and other Churches say nothing. For the record 54.000 Black Christians have been murdered in the past 10 years by Black Nigerians. And no one gives a shit. Too busy marching and screaming love for Hamas and Houthi.

So the Hamassholes have gone up a notch, with yet more terrorist adulation. Where were they the last 10 years of the humanitarian crisis in Yemen?? But nothing should surprise us with this sort of mentality, like some sort of sick mass psychosis, driven by delusion and hate. Anybody supporting terrorism is a disgrace to the human race, is a traitorous stain on humanity and deserves no place in a civilized Western country. They do not belong here and they should all be shipped off to Palestine, Pakistan, Iran or Afghanistan. Let’s see how much they cry then when they gain a bit of perspective the hard way. Disgusting cretins get to go on like this, meanwhile Tommy Robinson is still banned from entering London. Fecking appalling! ”This is what the media is not telling you about Yemen’s Houthis: *They are funded by Iran *They assassinated their secular leaders during the Arab Spring *They enforced gender segregation in schools and universities *They applied a “khums” law where descendants of Prophet Mohammed get money from the state *Their slogan says “Death to America & Israel, Curse Upon The Jews” *They shut down all credible NGOs that report on their crimes *They… Read more »

I have spent time in those places and am aware to some extent of the atrocious possibilities of Islam. 47 years ago I returned and bored the incredulous with tales of oil and water, and blood on the streets of the UK.
But with perfect consistency I can rue the day the Israel was ever formed and think that it was inevitably going ti lead to exactly this.
But to have imagined the consistent cruelty of the Israeli state I don’t think was imaginable to many because it would have seemed imaginary not as it turned out to be, real.

What are the risks from the extreme elements of Judaism? Are they really that different from Houthis, Hamas or Nazis? The teachings on women leave a lot to be desired (“sack full of excrement”). The question is: is any of that ideology significantly influencing the Israeli response? It would be good to hear more about that potential threat and destabilising influence.

Interesting downvotes. Why should beliefs go unreported or unchallenged if they are exercised to the detriment of others? Remember, “Protocols…” was meant to be a hoax, not a guide book.

Oooh I do believe this is one of my posts the DS team have not got around to editing/removing yet. Thank heavens for small fucking mercies, eh??? My trouble evidently is that I’m just not abusive or potty-mouthed enough. What an absolute cunt of an issue to have, don’t you think? Note to self; be more insulting and lewd with max profanities and abuse. Posts get removed/censored anyway so who gives a shit really? Same outcome. Anyway, first world problems…

200,000 ‘freedom fighters’ could make a real difference in the middle-east if they were actually willing to risk a fight. 200,000 loudmouths shouting in the streets in London are just noise pollution.

The Houthis were targeting ships supplying Israel and trying to stop the genocide by Israel against the Palestinians.
The US and UK are aiding that genocide and are on the wrong side of history.

South Africa wants justice? The ANC are Marxists. Mandela was a Marxist. He was the head of the African National Congress Party (ANC) a party guilty of decades of murder, terrorism, and violence. In fact, South African President P.W. Botha gave Mandela the opportunity to walk out of jail for free if he just renounced the ANC’s terrorism. Nelson Mandela was the head of UmKhonto we Sizwe, (MK), the terrorist wing of the ANC and South African Communist Party. He had pleaded guilty to 156 acts of public violence including mobilizing terrorist bombing campaigns, which planted bombs in public places, including the Johannesburg railway station. Many innocent people, including women and children, were killed by Nelson Mandela’s MK terrorists–murderers he never, ever renounced. But even after he walked out of prison and became the elected president of South Africa, Mandela chose to side with some of the worst monsters of the 20th century. Nelson Mandela was an avowed Communist and he sided with Cuban murderer and dictator Fidel Castro, he sided with the USSR, he sided with Mumar Ghadafi and the terrorist and so-called “Palestinian” Yasser Arafat. Marxists have a record of violence and murder that eclipses all other tyrannical… Read more »

Can anybody explain precisely why and what bombing Houthi rebels will achieve?

They say they are only attackng shipping heading to aid Israel which has currently killed 23,000 innocent civilians, displaced millions of Gaza residents and rendered most of Gaza uninhabitable. And the West says that’s not genocide?

This is all about preserving the USA/Jewish hegemony.

Iran no doubt the real target here, and maybe WW3 just to try and preserve the power and wealth of the RPTB.

Most of those killed in Gaza are probably Hamas terrorists and clearly Israels actions will be considered, even by those who may be concerned about the scale, as done to recver the hotages and prevetn a recurrence. The increase of Gaza’s population from 200000 in 1948 to 2.3 million today are hardly the actions of someone wanting to enact genocide. Ove 350,000 dead in Yemen and more in Syria and Sudan, so why silence there.

Aside from all of the obvious death and destruction, the 3 unarmed Israeli civilians who were not Hamas terrorists but killed by the IDF anyway was an indicator the actions are not considered.

john ball

Regrettably too many children will have been killed, but that is difficult to avoid give Hamas’ propensity to hide behind civilians, but the majority of casualties will be Hamas fighters. Hamas have announced that today 125 have been killed in Gaza, which is probably less than in each of Sudan Syria and Yemen and in today’s continued bombing by the Turks of the Kurds. The total deaths in these countries will now be well over a million, so the lack of any similar concern speaks for itself

You need to factor in population growth. Jews in Palestine 1917 8.5%. Jews in Israel 2024 80%. See? Wasn’t that hard.

“why and what bombing Houthi rebels will achieve?”

  • As you say, Iran – the many mentions of “Iran-backed” in the media is a giveaway
  • Arms sales
  • Someone will be profiting immensely from shipping issues
  • The PM gets to prove he is prepared to stoke conflict and kill people (why would a Hindu be any different?)
  • Avoids using the Saudi proxy
  • Practice for the RAF in somewhere without pine trees
  • More dead brown people (as another commenter has previously mentioned)
  • Perhaps it’s hoped it will trigger an ‘event’ amongst our abundant supply of foreign visitors who may not look favourably on this

The Establishment has deliberately created this situation in the UK.

They’re adding to the problem by shipping-in 30 – 40,000 criminal migrants from this region every year.

And they’re importing 1.3 LEGAL immigrants, many also from this region and other undesirable ones (ie Pakistan) every year.

We are reaping what they have sowed. They seem to still be suffering from the delusion that it won’t affect them. They will find out how wrong they were in a decade or so. Maybe sooner.

‘More Than 200,000 Pro-Palestinian Protestors March Through London Chanting Support for Houthi Rebel Attacks’Actually it was 500,000 of which at least 40,000 were Jewish/Jewish orgs ashamed by the actions of Israel. One man wore a board which read ‘Child of Holocaust Survivors – ashamed of Israel’.
Thankfully, only bigots associate all Jews with the genocidal policies and statements of the Netanyahu government.

We live in a place which has rarely been attacked and which has not been invaded in a very long time indeed. Very little depth of thought is required to look at the world through the eyes of the Houthis. In recent years they have been rather put upon (been bombed) with a strange alignment of states working against them. The USA and Saudi again being bed-fellows. That a small nation should should give two fingers to great powers should be the cause of grudging respect. That they are brave and daring enough to try to cause severe disruption to those that support and fund unbelievable slaughter is extraordinary, and what is equally extraordinary is the cowardice of most of the readership here to, if grudgingly accept the obvious truth of this. Whether one thinks as Norman Finklestein does that their ‘unto the breach’ attitude is a triumph in itself which shames those who fund the slaughter is another question. I wish the readership here were not so predictably reactionary. I joined and pay occasionally for The Daily Sceptic because it is invaluable in today’s general utter grunge of the unwilling to think. I thought it provided a different arena… Read more »
