To paraphrase Nick and Toby on Musk’s GFY to advertisers:
“Is it smart to alienate your income source and say that if X goes bust it’s their fault? Maybe Musk should stick to what he’s a genius at.”
That’s weedy, gents. Those GFY clips raised a mighty cheer in many millions of honest souls around the world and will long reverberate though the future battles for free speech. Musk is shaping history.
My answer to their question is it would be the right thing to do and may well also be smart – it’s a gamble but X being removed might wake a lot of people up to what’s going on. As to what he’s a genius at, I am not sure I would use the word genius but one thing that some people are good at is not giving a f*** what other people think, and bugger the consequences. You don’t have to be a billionaire social media platform owner to do this, but if you are and you do it, then you can have a positive impact.
Looks like James is living rent-free in between their ears.
