NHS Offers £100,000 Contract for “Anti-Racism” Consultancy Service

NHS bosses are offering a £100,000 contract for “anti-racism” consultancy services, MailOnline reports.

The tender — branded “woke” by critics — was posted by NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT), which manages blood supplies and organ donation in the U.K.

The successful bidder will “embed intentionally inclusive and anti-racist behaviours across our organisation”.

NHSBT wants a “solution” which includes topics such as “racial equity, social justice, civility, cultural intelligence, and active bystander and inclusion”.

Critics slammed the six-figure spend on “woke waste” and called for “every penny” to go towards frontline care instead.

Cash-strapped hospitals are mulling scaling back operations this winter to balance the books, despite the waiting list sitting at an all-time high.

But NHSBT argued hiring an anti-racist consultancy would help tackle backlogs by increasing the organisation’s credibility with ethnic minority Brits. It also comes amid allegations of years of racism within the service. …

In the application document, NHSBT wrote the consultancy was part of its “vision” to be an “intentionally inclusive and anti-racist” organisation. …

NHSBT added the contract will be considered a success when their employees have a greater understanding of “race equity”, they are not disadvantaged by their characteristics, and its recruitment policies are “intentionally inclusive”.

Tom Ryan, policy analyst at campaign group the TaxPayers’ Alliance, told MailOnline the public would be dismayed by the spend.

“‘Taxpayers are sick of seeing vital health funds spent on these right-on initiatives,” he said.

“With waiting lists still punishingly long, every penny should be directed at delivering frontline care.

“It’s time for the health service to put patients first and crack down on woke waste.”

Translation – coercion.

Not a firkin clue what this shyte means.

“racial equity?” Give us a clue.

“social justice?” It’s blood transfusion ffs.

“civility?” Well yes, I have had some nastiness these last three years from NHS staff but nothing a good bollocking wouldn’t put right.

“cultural intelligence?” WTF?

“active bystander and inclusion”.? Even the halfwit who wrote this gobbledegook couldn’t explain it.

This has been made public simply to enrage us and it has bloody well worked.

Absolutely pho#kin disgraceful.

Actually its time the NHS was closed down and a new model with free market competitors allowed, the British model is NOT the envy of the world, no other country has copied it, it is a national disgrace besides being one of the worlds largest employers. The problem is like every other Public sector business the employees believe they can never lose their jobs, (this is correct if anyone has ever tried to fire an incompetent or reckless medic or civil servant), that they are entitled to work when they want, how they want, bring their own political views into the job, have gold standard pensions and high pay rises whilst treating the tax payer with contempt and disdain. Nothing can be done to save it, it has been tried over and over again but the Unions are too strong and the will of those employed to change is just not there. So reduce the service to a basic put people back together, no bells and whistles service. Reduce taxes but make the employee join an insurance scheme, or provision for their health, clearly to avoid the nightmare of the American system there needs to be strict controls over the… Read more »

Sort of related, sitting at traffic lights yesterday I saw a big poster along the lines of “Did you know that half of kids in foster care have been separated from their siblings – can you help reduce that?”

I thought briefly it might be something we could think about as we have the space and the energy.

Then my eyes went to the bottom: “***** County Council” in association with Stonewall.

For a fist full of roubles

I’ll do it for half the price .It is easy =black people good, white people bad, you pale folks need to get on your knees and beg forgiveness.

I was going to suggest that DS setup a shell company and bid on the contract, but if you can do it cheaper then go for it 🙂

Well what do you know….BBC Today at 1200pm Antisocial, they discussed CBDCs with Big Brother Watch lady and they played a clip from Nigel Farage. The BBW lady made some good points but I’m less trusting of the government that her. Perhaps because of Jo Rogan bringing the subject to light or some sort of limited hangout?

Is this designed to ensure the racial profile is more important than competence. Yes, I thought so.

Does it mean the ratios will mre accurately refl;ect the composition of the UK at the last census. No, thought not.

Any scholar of the Oklahoma City Bombing will tell you about a telephone helpline called Dial A Racist. Basically like a sex line but instead of hearing dirty talk you could pay to listen to racist invective and there were options for different kinds of racism. I would wager that such a service wouldn’t even get off the ground these days in this country given all the red tape and recent laws. I am not not saying that we should be like early 1990s mid-America but this opposite extreme is far more unpleasant.

A Conservative Government would stop this nonsense.

Shame we haven’t got one.
