Karl Lauterbach Begs Germans to Line Up for Fifth Jab as Millions of Doses Go Unused
From the erstwhile vaccine propagandists at Der Spiegel, who I think are also tiring of the insipid autumnal vaccination liturgy and its noxious political enablers:
Federal Health Minister Karl Lauterbach has again called on people to get a booster vaccination. “Despite the pandemic and awareness campaigns, the importance of the Covid booster is apparently greatly underestimated,” he tells Spiegel. “So far, unfortunately, only a fraction of those for whom it is recommended have had a booster vaccination.” He calls on all at-risk groups and older people to catch up and ideally combine it with a flu vaccination.
According to the vaccine uptake statistics of the Robert Koch Institute, only about 2.5 million people have received three or more boosters. This means that only a fraction of those over 60 are likely to have sufficient protection against Covid.
They let Lauterbach flap his gums a little more about population immunity, Long Covid, secondary infections and how the vaccines can make all this better because reasons, before sticking the knife in him:
Lauterbach urgently needs to boost vaccine uptake. The pharmaceutical contracts concluded under his predecessor Jens Spahn have secured much larger quantities of vaccine than are currently being used. Between September and November, about 14.1 million vaccine doses of monovalent vaccine targeted at XBB 1.5. will be delivered. An additional 10.6 million vaccine doses of Novavax XBB 1.5. vaccines will also become available, as soon as they are approved by the European Commission.
Our dissolute snake oil salesmen – who is either so stupid or so desperate that he actually tweeted a link to this not-so-subtle takedown – is currently sitting on 11.5 million Pfizer/BioNTech doses, trembling at the prospect of Novavax dropping another 10 million on his head, with no hope at all that more than five million Germans will ever line up for these worthless products. This is despite the best efforts of the regional press, who have been trying to gaslight their elderly readers into getting yet another jab since September. Today the Main Post published a typical piece, claiming that vaccine demand is starting to creep up now, really it is, while yesterday it was the turn of Münchner Merkur to claim that everyone is talking about the shiny new vaccines and to drag in some pulmonologist to talk about the “predominantly positive reception” they’ve enjoyed. Dear idiot reporters: the official vaccine dashboards may be down, but the RKI still publishes day-by-day uptake statistics. Stop lying.

Interestingly, WIKIPEDIA describes Hawtrey thus:

I think those over 60 will have a far stronger immunity than any vaccine can give!
The UK are doing the same. Having ignored about 15 text messages about getting my CoViD 19 booster (although I have never had any) and Flu vaccine, I have just received an e-mail from Dr Nikita Kanani MBE from NHS England inviting me to book for both.
I don’t know what planet she is living on, but she states the following, “COVID-19 vaccination has a proven safety record. It gives you better protection than any immunity gained from a previous infection”. What? Provably wrong on both counts. Unbelievable.
Just like the texts, I won’t respond, even to decline.

Among older adults, the uptake is higher but still lagging: Just 1 in 5 of those 75 and older have received the shot.
Even my sister-in-law, who is at Death’s door, won’t be getting any this year. She’s had her spleen removed, a double mastectomy and serious heart problems – all stemming from terrible treatment for Hodgkin’s Disease back in the 70s.
She and my brother were full on vaccine enthusiasts, not visiting anyone etc. on the strong advice of her GP and specialists. She has developed some terrible skin eruptions, which her GP and specialists have said are caused by the ‘vaccine’ and she shouldn’t have anymore.
How can this numpty who sent/wrote the e-mail I received write that the ‘vaccine’ has a proven safety record?
Yep..trying to make sense in a non-sensical world is a waste of time..I can only say than goodness for alcohol!!LOL…
I can’t be bothered to look, but often in such cases, the individual making the wild claims, of the institution where they work receives funding in the form of grants from other institutions which are heavily invested in vaccines, often the BMGF.
Getting shot in the head with a .50 machine gun also has a proven safety record: It’s guaranted that you’ll be dead afterwards.
GP practices are more into sales than treatment these days.
Uh oh, must be about time for a new variant scariant to be dusted down and distributed. My guess will be around Christmas time!
This is also being bully-marketed by doctors. My parents (84 and 83) have been pressured to get boosted by their GP and will probably (I tried to dissuade them) give in despite they already left the hamster wheel after the 3rd shot and both had official COVID in the meantime (ie, a severe cold plus positive test results). Judging from what I heard from my mum, they probably also had a first bout of COVID (ie, another severe cold at about the right time) before any covaxxes were available.

The company said the new outlook called for a reduction in expected revenue for Covid treatment Paxlovid of $7bn. It further foresaw a $2bn reduction in revenue for the Comirnaty Covid ‘vaccine’ it makes with BioNTech. Sadly the jab junkies are in full force in my neck of the woods. Heard this week of a couple who were upset they couldn’t make their jab appointments because they had ‘covid’ (which is currently ripping through the multi-jabbed community) & were advised by the doc to wait a couple of weeks until they’d recovered before getting them. Words fail.
Of course AstraZeneca are doing OK – all the diseases the jab causes are right up it’s drug-strewn street:

NHS England says 9,676,809 Covid jabs have been given so far in the autumn campaign. I’m surprised that it’s that high. Does anyone have the UK figures?
I’ve also had a few text messages urging me to get the Covid and flu jabs. Now 87, I had two AZ and one Pfizer booster plus annual flu shots until I saw the light and from now on will have no more – ever! Tired of being lied to. Had my Covid July 22, a 5-day cold. Lotsa Vitamin D will have to suffice.
Respect due to you Steve for changing your mind and admitting your error. I didn’t make the same mistake, but I did (for a while) mistakenly think the vaccines were the way out of the covid nightmare – how wrong I was. They are very much part of the nightmare – probably the worst part.
As a post-script, I suspect this was Boris Johnson’s position too. He was evidently not trusted by those in real control and was not in the loop. He (at first) “trusted the science” and if/when he found out he’d backed the wrong horse he couldn’t politically do a reverse-ferret as the saying is these days. But I do think he used what authority he had to deliver a less worse lockdown than nearly ever other western country.
