The United Nations is United by its Hatred of Israel

The United Nations remains synonymous in many parts of the world with neutral peacekeeping, but in truth its anti-Israel bias runs very deep, writes Madeline Grant in the Telegraph. Here’s an excerpt.

The reality of the UN’s hypocrisy is very dark indeed. Tomorrow, grotesquely, the Islamic Regime in Iran will become Chair of the UN Human Rights Council Social Forum – just days after a 16-year-old girl was declared brain-dead following an alleged beating by the theocratic regime’s morality police.

The UN’s crippling obsession with Israel is explicitly embedded into its bureaucracy. Sessions of the UN Human Rights Council regularly feature a standing agenda targeting Israel, unique among all member states.

The UNSC has adopted far more resolutions condemning the Jewish state than any other nation. According to the organisation UN Watch, in 2022 there were a total of 15 resolutions condemning Israel, compared with 13 for the rest of the world. This is no coincidence; autocratic regimes frequently propose anti-Israel motions to dominate the voting agenda and deflect from their own domestic human rights abuses.

This wouldn’t matter so much provided people were honest about it; yet the UN remains a byword in many parts of the world for peacekeeping and attempts to create prosperity. We and other leading nations in the West send many of our finest diplomats and aid workers there. In recent weeks, it has repeatedly been invoked as an impartial international body, rather than a talking-shop of often grossly corrupt member states, whose activities at the UN reflect their own priorities (and prejudices).

Naturally, the alarming wave of global anti-Semitism has passed without censure. In Paris, Jewish schools are being evacuated amid bomb threats and Jewish homes marked out for vandalism. A would-be pogrom erupted at an airport in Dagestan in the Russian North Caucasus, where a violent mob trawled the tarmac looking for Jews.

The UN, which was formed in the midst of the great declaration of “Never Again” following the Second World War, has nothing to say about these developments. Nor has it voted to condemn the October 7th terror attacks that precipitated the Israel-Hamas war. How many more stars of David have to be scrawled on the doors of Jewish homes, schools, synagogues and businesses in the capitals of Europe before the UN realises that “again” is now?

Worth reading in full.

Stop Press: Richard Kemp notes that this week the UN General Assembly “overwhelmingly passed an Arab-initiated resolution to deny Israel’s right to self-defence following the horrific assault on October 7th. While refusing to name Hamas as the aggressor, the UN called for an immediate ‘humanitarian truce leading to a cessation of hostilities'”. Ominously, the U.K. abstained rather than joining with the U.S. and others in opposing it.

Another excerpt…Civilians in Gaza must be sacrificed to keep the Hamas propaganda machine going. Presumably that’s why citizens are not allowed to take shelter in their 500km of tunnels during bombings. Constant aid and sympathy are essential, you see. Much like all of the useful idiots out on the streets. ”Billions of dollars of aid have flown into Gaza while it has been under Hamas’s control, but instead of going to help alleviate the suffering of its people, the money has been diverted by Hamas to fund its terror operations. The group has dug up water pipes to repurpose them as rockets to fire at Israeli civilians and built an incredibly elaborate series of tunnels that are really more like an underground city. It has fired tens of thousands of rockets at Israel since taking power — launching them from schools, U.N. buildings, and residential areas. The group located its terrorist headquarters underneath a hospital. Hamas dares Israel to either do nothing, and allow Hamas to fire with impunity, or respond and thereby rack up civilian death numbers that drive international pressure on Israel. In spite of this, Israel has for years supplied water and free electricity to Gaza to… Read more »

The tunnels are a target so not that safe. There was mention of possibly using sponge bombs to seal them.

Ah OK, got it. Hamas wouldn’t want the injuries or deaths of civilians on their conscience if they got crushed in a tunnel. Best tell them to stay home, ignore the IDF’s warnings or block the roads to prevent them fleeing so they can get crushed under a building instead.

It’s the IDF who have blocked the roads – plenty of video footage of this. The aim is to bulldoze Gaza so the psycho Bibi has a gift to take back to Israel in the hope of being forgiven for being a criminal, murderer and fraudster.

Given that some Arab states are starting to normalise relations with Israel I wonder if the Hamas attack was calculated to bring about an attack on Gaza and the deaths of civilians in order to turn countries against Israel.

As many analysts have pointed out as it closes the door to a Palestinian State. But it could also be the gas fields, Bibi’s threat to raze the Al-Aqsa Mosque (he things Jesus will return to the Third Temple and give him a pat on the back) or the fact that Lockheed Martin, Shell et al’s shares shot up on Oct 7th while the bankers started printing even more money to fund even more wars, giving huge loans to governments, of magic money on which we, the taxpayer, pay the interest. This transfer of wealth has worked for centuries.

Hamas aren’t ‘terrorists’ for no reason. Same as the IRA. They are trying to keep alive the notion of a Palestinian State (or at the very least Israel-Palestine) agreed lands forever encroached upon by settlers (many from the US) illegally according to the Geneva Convention, The Rome Statute and multiple UN Resolutions.

So if “billions of dollars” have been sent to Gaza, pray tell why water pipes have to be dug up to make rockets with?
And can we please see even a single example of the damage they have done to the terrorist state they are fired at?
Or is it, as with the “Iron Dome” hoax, all just Mossad smoke and mirrors?

Theres also the gas/oil stuff … which always seems to play a part in any conflict…

The socialist agenda is firmly in bed with Hamas etc because currently they share a common objective, the destruction of capitalism as was and the end of liberty as well as destroying what they see as “white privilege”. This is obviously a broke back coalition that will break down in due course. Being right minded and seeing this obvious truth does not make one a lover of Israel. What is obvious too is that anyone with a iota of sense would rather live under an Israeli government than a Palestinian one, though neither is perfect.

They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature halal on their shelves — along with threats for failure to comply. This is occurring in:”

DT is a mouthpiece for the MoD – they just write what they’re told. 76% of this country want a ceasefire in Gaza. As the politicians are involving themselves, then it’s also our business. They work for us. This means they need to represent us – not sack MPs who demand a ceasefire in line with their constituents.

Yes it’s just hatred obviously…it couldn’t be anything else..certainly not watching a supposed Western ‘civilised’ country, acting ruthlessly and barbarically against thousands and thousands of civilians …. No, that’s not it…

“the alarming anti semitism has passed without censure” ..now I know you having a laugh…..it’s all that has been talked about in the MSM…it’s all they care about…

Ceasefire now..stop the slaughter of innocent children…

“The Director of the New York Office of UN High Commissioner of Human Rights, Craig Mokhiber, has resigned in protest over the organisation’s inability to stop the genocide in Gaza.

“Once again, we are seeing a genocide unfolding before our eyes, and the Organisation that we serve appears powerless to stop it,”

For a fist full of roubles

It worries me that this supposedly sceptical forum takes uncritically everything that Israel says at face value and rejects everything from every other direction.
Even our own government will not listen to alternative views, having recently sacked a member for expressing a desire to see the fighting stop.
I am particularly sceptical of the Israeli position over civilian deaths being a consequence of Hamas’ tactics, when a senior military spokesman for the IDF says that their intention with bombing Gaza is maximum damage.
This in no way is to excuse Hamas, they share the responsibility for deaths of innocents, but note that they share the responsibility with Israeli hawks.

…same old same old…..

….exact same playbook for Iraq, except they needed a ‘new baby horror’ because they already used ‘babies thrown out of incubators’…

The ‘war on terror’ the axis of evil…now the axis’s of evil is Hammas and Iran…

Russia….every one of whom we are told is evil.…and Vlad’s ‘mad’…..
MSM reported that Russian soldiers raped women, committed atrocities, burned bodies, kidnapped children…. Sound familiar….it should they use it every time…

…and always we are helping to ‘save democracy’ by helping these evil retards…

…and every time people fall for it…they get into their tribes and think they are on a ‘right side…’ because they’ve forgotten who the truly evil one’s are…

Unfortunately what we should have learned by now is that ‘they’ are never on our side…we are just fodder and idiot supporters for their evil wars.

There is only one side..that of innocent people..the ones who always get shafted…that’s why there has to be a ceasefire now..to save those people, because it’s only a break, the maniacs will be straight back on the job with the ‘next thing’…

Just sitting here watching live testimony of the Israeli Zaka officer, his voice quivering with grief, whose task it was to recover the bodies of the slain in southern Israel.
A pregnant mother shot in the back of the head, sliced open and the unborn baby stabbed multiple times. He didn’t know what order these atrocities were performed in.
A second visit to a family, burned alive in their home. While they burned, the terrorists opened their fridge and sat down to eat a meal.
Finally, he explains how Israel gives the same dignity, same procedures, same religious respect to the bodies of the terrorists.
682 bodies, just from the 35 people in his team, recovered in just 5 days.

So much for the 40 beheaded babies story which CNN admitted lying about. So terrorists sat down in a burning building and had a meal? Nobody sits in a burning building. The pregnant woman was a Bennett (another psycho) story. It’s noteworthy that despite the ongoing humanitarian crisis happening in Yemen the Houthi Islamists have now declared war on Israel. The suffering of the Yemeni civilians takes a backseat when your loyalties lie elsewhere, many miles away, in fact. Therefore I am very confident that we’ll be seeing tens of thousands of protestors hitting the streets, showing their concern for the plight of the Yemeni people and waving many flags of Yemen to highlight the suffering of these forgotten people and their starving/dead children. ( What do you mean, ”are you being sarcastic??” 😮 ) ”In a televised statement released on Tuesday, Yahya Sarea, a spokesperson for the Houthis said, “Our armed forces launched a large batch of ballistic and cruise missiles at targets in occupied Palestine today, making it our third operation.” Ironically, while the Houthi Islamists are waging a war against Israel, their own country Yemen is undergoing everyday worsening crisis and its people living in deplorable conditions. From conflict with the Saudi coalition to the widespread cholera epidemic, starvation and surging deaths, Yemen is facing adversity at all ends. Yet the Houthis have prioritised attacking a country 1300 miles away to extend support to their co-religionists in… Read more »

“Seeing a lot of people confused by these news. “These are Houthis, not the Yemeni government” some people screech. You’re wrong. Here’s a quick crash course on some background history, the political landscape in Yemen & appropriate terminology: 1. The “Houthis” (known officially as the Ansarallah) is a broad grassroots movement with only a few defined political keypoints. This is deliberate, as the movement seeks to incorporate and represent the Yemeni people in its entirety across both Islamic and political differences. The movement has a right-wing, a centre-wing and a left-wing, each organized into separate unions and interest groups. For example, the left-wing is organized into what is called the “Cultural Front Against the Aggression”, just to be very specific. 2. The “Houthis” ceased being a rebel group in late 2014 with the advent of the September 21st Revolution and the signing of the UN-sponsored Peace & National Partnership Agreement.  Prior to 2014, the group could indeed be described as a rebel movement as it fought 6 consecutive wars against the corrupt Saudi-backed government of Ali Abdullah Saleh. In September 2014, when the “Houthis” entered Sana’a to topple said government, more than 2/3rds of the entire Yemeni Armed Forces switched… Read more »

There are more islamic that jewish states which members of the UN and the jewish state still occupies one of the most sacred places of islam (the dome of the rock). Because of this, it’s entirely unsurprising that the jewish state usually has a majority of the largely function-free UN assembly against it which keeps voting in favour of meaningless statements condemning Israel for this or that. Jews and Palestinians, having been exiled, murdered, denied a home and wandered the globe as refugees have much in common. But digagreeing with the carpet-bombing of Gaza does not make one an anti-Semite. It means you are human. Equally, if people could have spoken out to prevent the events of Oct 7th they would – but if Mossad, Shin Bet and the IDF didn’t know about it, how could your average citizen? Equally, it is not ‘anti-Israel’ to criticise a nuclear first world country for bombarding, occupying and blockcading a third world country whose people one once lived in the same lands. The West Bank is referred to as The Occupied Territories for a reason.
None of this is an attack against Jews, but a criticism of the psychopath Netanyahu who has NEVER wanted peace for Israel. The Jews were booted out by the Romans and exterminated by Nazis. The saddest thing, is they are now doing the same to the Palestinians.

As to the self-defense’ and ‘right to respond’ arguments. Israel didn’t defend itself. This is why 500,000 are out on the streets of Israel shouting ‘Bibi is a murderer’ and ‘Jail for Bibi’. And Israel did respond, on Day 1. What’s their excuse for the next 3 weeks? Netanyahu is Hitler and unfortunately – if the stars on doors are anything to go by (assuming not propaganda) – it will be Jews as well as Palestinians who end up paying the price for Netanyahu’s psychosis.
