Quick skim down the headlines…

…and….

Yep. The world is still bonkers.

Just come back from a good night out. Saw an ACDC tribute act in a local pub. People were apparently happy and free and they were certainly screaming along with “Brian Johnson”.

But it’s different now. Maybe it’s just me. But I can’t help asking myself, “How many of them were mask zealots? How many of them demanded the unjabbed to be denied healthcare or worse? How many of them would have denounced me as a granny killer or a science denier?”

I am forever changed by this. So much so that when I find someone (as I did this evening) who saw through the whole sorry, evil episode and refused to comply I am overjoyed to the point of silliness.

It’s a mad world.

It can’t be stopped. Like a wildfire through our society. So many foolish and gullible people pushing it along, driven by an elite whose idea of wealth redistribution is to take it from the poor and give it to the rich.

Protect what’s yours the best you can. Good luck to you.

The cattle of humanity are great in number and will unfortunately always be keen to moo along to the next narrative regardless. You do well to go out, I can no longer bear being in any social surroundings, Covid /masks et al destroyed normal life, I now spend my time in a constant depressive state, my mental health has and will never recover, we lurch from one (intentional) “crisis” to the next… What does the future hold?

Totally get that. I haven’t been out to any big events or concerts for a while but I get that it feels weird to be surrounded by people who probably bought in to the lies and BS and would probably do so again. A sort of Walking Dead situation where you’re the only one truly alive and thinking. I spent yesterday evening in the company of some new friends of mine, all of them truth seekers and critical thinkers, people who I didn’t know 3 years ago but who are now friends, and we can speak openly and plainly and it was joyous!

That just life isn’t it?

Most people always just ‘get on with life’ after big events…while some people are changed forever….
I suspect it’s always been the same…..

I don’t think I was anything like as ‘awake’ five years ago, as I am now…but five years ago there were probably people wondering why I was such a sheep??

I’ll try and keep this as succinct as possible, I understand this is not an agony aunt column.
I offer a full and unreserved apology to any one of you I may have offended or hurt with my recent posts, Huxleypiggles,Mogwai and Ebygum specifically , especially Mogs who was a completely innocent victim in my rant who I just lumped into it for no apparent reason.
I’ve had a drink problem since my twenties and have lost many friends and family ties because of it. Although it doesn’t occur as regularly as it used to, as you have witnessed, it still does. I am ashamed of it and always will be. Best way to explain it is like jekyll and Hyde, I’m a normal of bloke most of the time but sometimes the monster from the id escapes and control over it is lost.
I do not expect forgiveness only your understanding but I sincerely apologise to all concerned.

Big respect to you for disclosing this personal information because you didn’t need to do that, nor did you need to come back and apologise, but thank you for doing so. 😊 You are also the only one that’s saw fit to come back on here and apologise for your behaviour towards me, which just shows me what a truly decent bloke you are, so bonus thanks and appreciation for that too.💛👍

I grew up with brothers and sisters..all of us had an opinion, as did our parents, and I think it was whoever was loudest got their point over!!

We were all fairly combative, in a loving way, and we didn’t hold grudges, so it seems normal to me….and I sometimes forget it’s probably not normal to most people at all!! LOL!

100% with you. Was looking forward during lockdowns to mass gatherings and crowds despite never having been much into that kind of thing, but when it was clear that there wasn’t going to be a big celebration of freedom and a realisation of how wrong it all was, I lost interest.

In London (and maybe other places) the roller skating community was something of an oasis of sanity during lockdowns – a lot of gatherings in car parks etc – so I still enjoy being with those people. Managed to get a trifecta of sceptics in one place today – someone from the LS Reddit and apparently two others also very awake – quite uplifting.

I wonder what Bon Scott would have made of covid.

Did the conflict in Yemen and violation of international humanitarian law, enabled by the UK regime, prompt a similar high-profile call for peaceful settlement and halt in arms exports to Saudi?

If anyone has a link, please post. Similar emanations for other conflicts also welcome.

Think I shall have to revise my percentage split of who I think makes up these pro-Palestine demonstrations. There seems to be a fair few organizations who are all about supporting Hamas and hating Israel. Here’s investigative journalist, David Collier, with more deets;

”A big lie we are being sold is to suggest the anti-Israel demonstrations on our streets are all about human rights concerns. They say that any support for violence is just an outlier. In reality the opposite is true.

Just look:
1. Let’s start with Scotland. Mick Napier is the head of the Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign. He is the face of Palestinian activism in Scotland. He posted this video on 7 October. In it he says the news (coming from Israel on Cot 7) is ‘absolutely amazing’. He talks abut ‘resistance fighters of paragliders’. He calls it astonishing and inspiring

2.  Another large Palestine group in the UK – is the Manchester PSC. This was posted by them on 7 October. It says Manchester PSC support the resistance. They called the terror attack a ‘heroic move’ carried out by ‘brave fighters’”

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/may/17/pro-israel-lobby-defeat-democrats-palestinians-2022

The US’s most powerful pro-Israel lobby group is pouring millions of dollars into influencing Democratic congressional primary races to counter growing support for the Palestinian cause within the party, including elections today in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
The American Israel Public Affairs Committee’s money is focused on blocking female candidates who, if elected, are likely to align with “the Squad” of progressive members of Congress who have been critical of Israel.

Melanie Phillips is right, there is a moral degeneracy in society which is loud and proud, that was bad enough and a rude awakening during the Covid bollocks, and now we once again get to see it on our streets in a different context. All made possible and orchestrated, once more, by our governments. Can we genuinely expect to experience ‘social cohesion’ ever again in our more ‘diverse’ communities? ”Benjamin Baird, the director of the Middle East Forum’s grassroots advocacy initiative MEF Action, said in July that as a consequence of “progressive wokeism” an “Islamist-friendly media” was enabling Muslim Brotherhood jihadi groups in America to gain influence and power in the media, law enforcement and government. Back in the 1980s and 1990s, authorities in Britain turned a blind eye to Islamists living in the U.K. who were radicalizing British Muslims. This was because of what was called a “covenant of security,” a tacit deal under which such radicals were allowed free rein to say what they wanted in return for which they would avoid blood on British streets. It was what might be called a jihadi protection racket overseen by the British security service. Islamic radicalism, they all claimed, was confined… Read more »

To be honest I am not sure that a Jewish woman, being pro-Israeli and anti-Islam tells me anything useful at all….

Melanie Phillips has no legitimacy in my eyes….she was a big supporter of the Covid bollocks in Israel..she was all in with the Netanyahu Government using Israeli civilians as lab rats..and vaxxing kids…she even went to Israel to get the jab early…
and waxed lyrical about it all in the Telegraph any chance she got….

I think differently from you on your first point – Jewish men and women do have something useful to say. However, I found her stance on Covid deeply disturbing. How such an intelligent and clear thinking writer could be so utterly sure of something that had hardly been tested – even just the tiniest peek in the history of MRNA technologies would have revealed a history of not getting past animal trials. She lost all credibility in my eyes – just as a reminder …

I think something sinister was going on during Covid, involving key influencers (such as Melanie Phillips, Christopher Snowdon, Piers Morgan) being persuaded (by financial incentive, blackmail or other threat) to push the vaccine narrative. It is very hard to believe they were simply putting forward sincerely held views in good faith.

I actually had never heard of the woman but we are talking about two entirely different topics here. I think it’s perfectly possible to disagree with somebody on one theme but agree with their points on another. Piers Morgan is one example. He will always be an odious prick, in my eyes. His behaviour during the Covid times being the prime reason but he’s made some incredibly spiteful remarks about Meghan Markle in the past, of whom I’m no fan, but there’s being critical and then there’s being unnecessarily malicious. But I found myself agreeing with him regarding the lack of condemnation of the Hamas atrocities across the board the other day on Twitter. It doesn’t mean I’ll ever like the bloke though and it’s impossible for somebody with that mean-spirited character to ever redeem themselves, as far as I’m concerned. Jeremy Corbyn is another one. I agree with him on some things but he was also caught on camera yesterday defending Hamas. The article Norman Fenton wrote that I shared recently highlights this topic. Kindred spirits during Covid times, with views that completely align, become like traitors, surprising and disappointing people with their opposing views in this entirely different… Read more »

If I die, it won’t surprise anyone’Mr Perry said he was “grateful to be alive” and had once been given a “2 per cent chance to live” after an especially serious stomach perforation that required major surgery.
In an interview to promote the book, he said of his readers: “I think they’ll be surprised at how bad it got at certain times and how close to dying I came.
“I say in the book that if I did die, it would shock people, but it wouldn’t surprise anybody. And that’s a very scary thing to be living with.

The mystery of the Covid Inquiry’s missing WhatsApps” – Scottish officials’ pandemic WhatsApp messages are conveniently absent, says Iain Macwhirter in the Spectator.

Although it pains me slightly to suggest Nicola Sturgeon has done anything right (there’s my bias declared), I think her government’s use of Whatsapp seems to have been exemplary. By all means use it to arrange meetings but don’t write anything substantial in it. Make phone/video calls and then minute the discussion for the record. The last thing government records need is some prat suggesting it was time to ‘scare the pants’ off the people or an un-civil servant gloating about putting first-class airline passengers into cheap quarantine hotels.

A depressing amount of very sick stuff. I know lots of people that have become bitter and twisted over the last few years, but I don’t want to become one of them. My hatred is reserved for those that drove the psyop, not the weak-minded people who fell for it. I think if we lose our humanity then they have won.

Teams of Border Force officials have been deployed to Egypt in readiness to help at least 200 Britons trapped in Gaza, prime minister Rishi Sunak has revealed.

Speaking yesterday, the prime minister said: “We’ve pre-positioned Border Force teams to Egypt. So that if there is a possibility for our nationals to cross the Rafah crossing, we’re ready to get them in and bring them back.”

Posted by ‘Utter Shower’ in the comments section at TCW.

If these people live there then they belong there. I don’t suppose the 200 are young fighting age mercenaries, young orphans by any chance?

And just how many Border Force slackers are going on a holiday to Israel? One commentator has pointed out that our Border Force don’t seem to have alot of problems perforating Borders which seems reasonable.

“Immigration chiefs warn universities after THOUSANDS of foreign students claim asylum within months of arriving in Britain Home Office warns of foreign students seeking asylum after coming to UK Home Office chiefs have warned universities about a ‘marked’ increase in foreign students seeking asylum within months of arriving in the UK. Government papers show 3,000 students made claims within their first year living in the country between October 1, 2021 and September 30, 2022 – some 1,600 from Bangladesh. Immigration chiefs became so alarmed they ordered some universities to suspend course offers to ‘anyone from Bangladesh’ until background checks were complete. They warned many were using forged identity documents. Officials also flagged a 100 per cent leap in university applications from Ghana, warning that a quarter of those investigated relied on fraudulent paperwork. Last night, a leading academic described the scandal as higher education’s equivalent of small boats crossing the Channel. It showed most asylum claims from Bangladeshis were made by men aged between 21 and 30. Almost 1,400 had received university offers to study courses with ‘business’ or ‘international’ in the title. From 2010 to 2012, China helped build 27 hospitals in Ghana, Zimbabwe and other African countries.
China has also sent 43 medical teams to 42 African countries and regions, treating over 5.57 million patients….
