Rattled your cage have I?
Take it on the chin with a grin and stop being so so fucking superior to the rest of us! Then.. maybe.. we can make DS the peoples site not the academics site! I went to comprehensive school!(and not proud of it!)
WE all have a say regardless of our backgrounds! Start being inclusive in the true meaning of the words or this site will fail!
Use ordinary English! Not Oxford dictionary bollocks to make yourselves look superior!
Talk to the masses, not your ego’s !

I suspect I’m included in that Dinger..but I don’t mind..I’m glad we don’t all think the same….
One of my all time favourites..and takes me right back to a grotty little night club in Sheffield, The Limit… where we used to pogo till dawn….
Anger is an energy…..definitely….
Mrs Gums, “Anger is an energy.”
If you ever get the chance to see the master live don’t miss it.
He’s brilliant.
Well said! Uptick deserved, I’m far from a lost cause, just an honest one!
Big deal. Which boat? And is it actually rocking? How is this changing anything, spouting claptrap on the internet, Sir Keyboard Warrior?
You don’t have to read their messages Dinger. Just because someone has a wide vocabulary doesn’t mean devalue their ideas and contributions. Fighting between ourselves in a big waste of time and effort. There are bigger problems.
Perhaps I can offer this little comedy gem (Blackadder) to reduce the tension…
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOSYiT2iG08
Just brilliant – thanks for that!
Another day another hater to add to the ever growing list then? Good job I don’t have an inferiority complex isn’t it?🤷♀️ Unlike you and your ilk, seemingly. Yet another man ( sure it’s just coincidence🤥 ) who can’t handle debate or any type of exchange in a civilised manner so resorts to personal attacks.
You know the best bit? Your behaviour, and that of your mean little posse, only encourage me to post more. You have the opposite effect to what you’re clearly all aiming for. I get a certain smug satisfaction from knowing that my mere presence clearly gets up so many people’s noses so that means I’ll be back again and again and again….I’ll post as frequently as I damn well please, and if that upsets you and the rest of your hater tribe, suck it up ‘big man’, suck it up, because I don’t treat this place like a popularity contest and I’m not going anywhere. What a bummer for you, eh?😏
I’m thinking of changing my username to ‘Marmite’. What do you think?🤔 Same time same place tomorrow then?👍
Someone once said that when their opponent attacked them rather than the argument then the attacker had lost the argument. So true. The users of ad hominem (apologies to those who didn’t do O Level Latin) arguments are truly pathetic and deserve to be ignored, just like the anonymous down tickers. I believe in saying what I mean and meaning what I say and I respect contributors such as yourself and hp. Keep up the good work 👍👏👏
Many thanks for your kind words DBB. 👍
Cheers DBB.☺ Just another name to add to the list of toxic people I ignore on here. Interesting that they can’t do the same though, even replying to my posts, like I’m going to deign to engage with somebody who demonstrably can’t even operate with the most basic of manners. They appear to be triggered when they see a name, rather than just scroll on by. 🤦♀️
I guess some unpleasant, cowardly folk are just emboldened by the fact they’ve a cloak of anonymity to hide behind. To my mind, if you can engage with 50 people online in a respectful exchange, even if you’ve opposing views, why would you waste energy on the 1 or 2 dimwits who are rude and wish to reduce the comments section to an inane spat? Treat people as you want to be treat yourself, even when you know you’re never going to meet that person in real life. Life’s too short for entertaining shit-stirrers and mean-spirited people, and this isn’t the place for it either.
I think it’s the quote from Anthony Watts you’re referring to.🤔🤓
If I’m so toxic, why do I not hide in the shadows? I say what I think, it ought to be a welcome change to thinking but not saying!
Wonderful Mogs and I share this viewpoint exactly.
Now who’s dummies out the pram?

How dare you? Free speech is free speech whether you’ve “researched” or not!
You’ve been a true warrior on here, Mogs. Your posting turnover is incredible. Perhaps your new username might be ‘Ma-mighty!’
Ah thanks Aethelred. Appreciate it.😊 I don’t think I post like I’ve swallowed a dictionary at all. You and many others are way more eloquent and grammatically correct than me. I just cut and paste the text which contains the big words.😁 No i don’t feel the need for a name change or an ‘alias account’…😉
I generally find posts that ignore the argument and instead attack the person, because they’re a man or because they show better/worse grammar etc, not very compelling. I think once we get too focused on the individual, rather than their argument, then we’ve lost the exchange. Better to be the bigger person, move on, and hope the other person(s) does too I think. Life’s way too short and sh*t enough already to hold grudges.
Well said – we’re all trying to strive for truth and understanding in this world of propaganda, exploitation, evil agendas and anti-democracy exercised by TPTB, whoever they may be.
I’m a bit in the dark here, guys…what is all this brouhaha about? What’s going on?
Aethelred, I’ve genuinely no idea. Actually I would appreciate some enlightenment from Dinger. Hopefully that’s not too big a word.
It’s very odd.
Not sure either in this case – I can roughly guess though. We don’t all have to agree on something – it’d be an odd and pretty boring place if we did – but we should be able to disagree without it getting personal. Once it gets personal then it generally escalates in one direction only. As difficult as it can be at times, offering an olive branch seems to me to be the adult thing to do in these situations (online or in-person)… you’ve just got to hope the other person is adult enough to accept it.

Don’t let these people get to you pal. There are some people you can reason with and others you can’t. There’s definitely a little schoolground bullying that goes on in here, but it’s just that – children banding together, throwing tantrums, and then being unable to quieten their rage. Let the haters hate – they’ll always find a way to justify it.
Bless your voice of obvious common sense 👍
Dinger let me dismantle your rant point by point: There is no hux and Mogs show. We are two people who research widely and report what we find on here. I consider myself fortunate to be able to correspond with a kindred soul and fortunate indeed that there are many similar erudite souls on DS taking the time to educate me in these dystopian days; too many to mention but I appreciate all points of view detailed on DS. I do not post for the purposes of garnering agreement, I post because I believe my comments are valid and others might appreciate my point of view. If they disagree that’s fine. I don’t care especially if the opposite position is enhanced with relevant evidence. Rattled my cage ? In what way? In what way am I superior? “Use ordinary English.” Let me explain something. In my youth I was an avid reader, sometimes a book a day and on numerous topics but especially history and politics but also massive amounts of fiction. I loved reading and still do and I like writers who can challenge me. And you know what, when I came across a word I didn’t understand I… Read more »

Heres my case!
Are you not big enough to explain to me why you said this!?
Quote: “Dinger, maybe you shouldn’t comment until you’ve researched!”
???? Answer!
I welcome the opportunity to extend my vocabulary, both the words themselves and the manner of their usage.
The true value of this site is to see a variety of opinions, and I have found both agreement and disagreement with individuals.
My only dislikes are arrogance and aggression. There is no need for either unless you feel you are losing the argument.
And for the avoidance of doubt, that was not aimed at you, Dinger
So do I, learning is everything!
But this is what hux said to me on a post on the 24th September, irrelevant of the topic of the post itself, he said, and I quote:
“Dinger, maybe you shouldn’t comment until you’ve researched!”
How would you feel if someone shut you down like this?
do you see this as a fair comment?
and why will he not explain this statement? These are the actions of the loony left, ignore what I said then and it will go away!
Just come on line and sad to see so much bickering. It looks like an unkind comment but taking offence gets you nowhere. Take it on the chin and assume he or she’s having a bad day.
Oh, I was accused of that very thing by a particularly unpleasant person who descended into personal abuse rather than engage in reasoned argument, however I blocked him after a couple of exchanges rather than engage further.
Life is too short.
“World Rugby close investigation into ‘white ****’ slur at World Cup”
Rugby players being fragile now.? Poor darlings….
Nothing to do with being “fragile”…. Try hypocrisy..
Racisim only works one way, didn’t you know…
I don’t think that’s the point. If World Rugby would not have treated a “black c***” comment in exactly the same way, we have another illustration of the label “racist” only being applied to white people.
But the insult, in Afrikaans, wasn’t an insult. Allegedly 🤣
Who’s side are you on?
In the murky complex world of of middle east politics I find I struggle to make any sense of what is happening let lone have an opinion, other than to have huge sympathy for all the ordinary people caught up in this maelstrom of awful events. I read this morning that the USA has launched attacks on Iranian bases in Syria;
https://apnews.com/article/syria-airstrikes-iran-revolutionary-guard-af3c7a0f069b8c8b08f6feaa0e165d6a
What is the USA doing in Syria? why is it attacking Iranian bases? and how will this help to bring any sort of peace and stability to the region?
I sometimes wonder if TPTB in the western world can see that the train is heading for the buffers and the only options are war or a big crash?
President Trump wondered about that as well. He ordered the Pentagon to withdraw from Syria. They disobeyed.
Like Eisenhower and Kennedy he understood the dangers of the military and industry combined.
👍👍
The U.S. is in Syria to enable the military defeat of DAESH in Syria.
US forces are in Syria under Combined Joint Task Force Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR), which aims to militarily defeat ISIS through partnerships with the SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces) and International Coalition partners.
CJTF-OIR advises, assists and enables partnered forces until they can independently defeat Daesh in designated areas of Iraq and Syria, in order to set conditions for long-term security cooperation frameworks.
Iraqi Security Forces, Kurdish Security Forces, and SDF, enabled by CJTF-OIR, have liberated the territory once occupied by Daesh.
Daesh remains a persistent terrorist threat. CJTF-OIR partners will ensure the enduring defeat of Daesh remnants with CJTF-OIR support.
In Syria, the Coalition conducts advising through partnered patrols with the SDF and Coalition combined exercises. Specifically, Coalition advisers trained and developed the SDF on counter-IED tactics for force protection and noted improved capability in that area. The SDF demonstrates improved capability to conduct counter-Daesh operations. The SDF have conducted several unilateral high-risk arrests and “finish” operations. These operations demonstrate the SDF’s capability to prevent the resurgence of Daesh.
So U.S. and coalition forces are building their partner forces’ capability to defeat Daesh in Syria (and Iraq).
As your reference states:
‘U.S. fighter jets launched airstrikes early Friday on two locations in eastern Syria linked to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Pentagon said, in retaliation for a slew of drone and missile attacks against U.S. bases and personnel in the region that began early last week.’
Iran, Russia, and the Syrian regime are coordinating a coercive campaign to expel the United States from Syria. This campaign poses a serious risk to US forces in Syria and US interests in the Middle East. Iran and the Syrian regime have surged forces and materiel to the line of contact with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in northeastern Syria from July 7 through July 12. Both have deployed additional forces and materiel to the area since then at lower rates. The Iranian and Syrian deployments to eastern Syria have occurred alongside growing operational coordination with Russia.
And there’s me thinking they were in Syria for the oil, as that’s the only part they’re occupying…..
https://www.voanews.com/a/extremism-watch_us-firm-secures-oil-deal-us-backed-forces-syria/6194040.html
A U.S. company has reportedly reached a deal with Kurdish-led authorities in northeast Syria to develop and export crude oil in areas under their control in the war-torn country.
A senior official at the Kurdish-led Autonomous Administration in Northeast Syria said the deal was approved by the U.S. government.
“As per the deal, a refinery will be built in northeast Syria with a cost of $150 million,” the Kurdish official told VOA on the condition of anonymity.
“The company will explore [for] oil in three locations in northeast Syria, including Rumeilan, Tel Hamees and Tel Brak,” the official added.
Delta Crescent Energy LLC is reportedly involved in the deal. VOA could not reach the company for comment.
Oh…..good point……that must be why the British Army is in Scotland (as well)………?
‘In fragile states, entities resembling state organizations can participate in local oil extraction through the exercise of their territorial rights. Additionally, these structures can have an impact on political dynamics at both the regional and global levels. This article delves into the link between oil and the acknowledgment of statehood in Iraqi Kurdistan. It contends that the presence of oil has significantly contributed to the recognition of Kurdish statehood by providing a source of income and augmenting its economic and political prowess.’
Oil or State? The Role of the Oil in the Recognition of Kurdish Statehood in Iraqi Kurdistan 10 Oct 2023
…that’s a big reason they are imperially occupying a SOVEREIGN country, who have asked them to leave on numerous occasions….there occupation and theft of oil and food is totally illegal..but it’s the ‘rules based order’……
You don’t have to guess anyway, they themselves more often than not tell you exactly what they are up to….but it’s the usual playbook, to weaken Russia, to weaken the ties between the relevant countries, to promote the overthrow of the elected ruler, to promote religious sectarianism, to build up and train your ‘terrorist of choice’..hand the project over to the CIA..and donate billions of dollars worth of weapons….
Then they tell you they are fighting some rogue terrorist group, in this case ISIL, who, most experts agree, were created from the actions of America in Iraq…Donald Trump once accused Obama of creating ISIL….although he said he was ‘joking’ (not)….
Then they tell you they are helping to free some marginalised minority..the Kurds…..but we all know it is hypocrisy and lies or that same thinking would apply to the Donbass…. wouldn’t it?
The vote with the feet is the clearest sign of opinion.
‘The region is home to a predominantly young population that is restless and potentially volatile. In a perfect world, they would shove aside the old leadership in regional elections, clean up the Kurdish house…….But, given the unlikelihood of political renewal – a Kurdish spring – many young Kurds are voting with their feet, setting off on the dangerous, expensive journey through Türkiye and across the Mediterranean to countries where they believe the grass is greener.’

Redacted has had good coverage this week on the buildup of US forces too.
The military industrial complex is desperate for wars to maintain their profits. The USA only wants to exercise control and seeks instability wherever possible. The majority of people in the West have been conditioned to believe throughout their lifetimes that the USA was a force for good and I went along with this. The reality is that satanic forces are running the country -the deep state – and they murdered the Kennedy’s, MLK, others I’m sure and of course were responsible for 9/11.
Agenda 2030 is being pushed relentlessly and the ultimate aim is ultimate control. Populations are to be reduced – wars, “vaccines”, starvation, – and those who survive are to become the slave class serving the self-ordained elites.
The course of travel, certainly through to 2030 is crisis after crisis after crisis, all intended to keep populations in a permanent state of fear and begging for governments to save them. And ‘save them’ they will with tighter and tighter controls.
We must resist. We must say no.
War also vastly increases the amount of money which is created from thin air by governments, which serves to inflate the debt bubble. It’s an effective means of culling a sizable number of useless eaters, creating division amongst those useless eaters whilst pushing the monetary system ever more quickly towards implosion. This outcome will also lead to inflation & a situation much worse than the Great Depression, so think more hardship, starvation, death & loss of property due to inability to repay debt.
It’s all part of the planning to depopulate, steal assets & control.
The 2012 cover of The Economist seems to predict so many of the major events which have recently occurred…. Almost as if someone had a crystal ball or had read the plan…

now we will have to see what Iran got?
? why is it attacking Iranian bases? Part of their reasoning/excuse will be the Hamas attack on Israel. Maybe worth watching some of the latest Hoover Institution Goodfellows podcast with Stephen Kotkin. Academic and often cringingly crass debate at times but sometimes enlightening on geopolitics.

I wrote a little piece on propaganda and polarisation.
https://glitches.substack.com/p/on-propaganda-and-polarisation
Good read. This section particularly resonated – I’ve been asking myself the same question;
Suddenly, with this conflict, some of those critical and suspicious of the media seem to accept what the media tells them, with a clear alignment with media biased towards one pre-existing political persuasion. A few weeks ago, these outlets were treated as state-corporate propaganda outlets, but now, for some, they appear to be the source of truth and wisdom. What happened to everybody’s critical faculties?
Thanks!
Most recent poll in America shows that people have never had less trust in the media…I think that probably applies throughout the Western World.
I knew this morning that I would be greeted with a round up of stories telling me to hate a certain set of people….previously it was Unvaccinated, Russians and Chinese…
I don’t know why people who questioned the media before are now seemingly allowing themselves to be corralled like sheep to follow this agenda?
Well I don’t and won’t hate to the order of a corrupt state and world order, that I bloody despise and as for the MSM, paid for scum..….. so fu*k you to that…..
The Mid Western Doctor has written a long substack piece on why the debate is so polarised; it feeds into the modularist’s piece linked above too. MWD references an earlier (2014) work by Scott Alexander which refers to media memes as toxoplasma parasites. It’s an interesting image. https://www.midwesterndoctor.com/p/why-are-we-flooded-with-outrage-producing-742 From Scott Alexander: Toxoplasma is a neat little parasite that is implicated in a couple of human diseases including schizophrenia. Its life cycle goes like this: it starts in a cat. The cat poops it out. The poop and the toxoplasma get in the water supply, where they are consumed by some other animal, often a rat. The toxoplasma morphs into a rat-compatible form and starts reproducing. Once it has strength in numbers, it hijacks the rat’s brain, convincing the rat to hang out conspicuously in areas where cats can eat it. After a cat eats the rat, the toxoplasma morphs back into its cat compatible form and reproduces some more. Finally, it gets pooped back out by the cat, completing the cycle. ….jihad [Gaza] and the War on Terror [Israel] are opposing forces. It’s good to have people really trying to think things through… One of the things that happened during the Great Scam, is that I realised (a bit late I know) that a lot of the foundations that I thought were rock solid, weren’t. A lot of people and institutions weren’t anything like I believed .. this was a bit seismic for me..these were things, I suppose, that I had built my world view on…and they were pretty much all lies…. I am amazed how much I keep discovering in this respect…. One of the reasons I think why people are ready to go along at the moment is down to their own bias…and a non-stop agenda telling us who to fear..whether it’s Russians, Chinese, Iranians or Muslims as a whole….try finding a ‘good-news’ story on this topic over the last few years…..just one…? Do we honestly think they can’t find one Yesterday there was the story ATL promoting fear again, this time about Pro-Palestinian protests….(it seem to me Pro-Palestinian is becoming as generalised as the misnomer anti-vaxxer’…) but I was thinking how these people, whoever they are, are ordinary people, protesting..they have no Governmental power, no military power..they aren’t behind… Read more »

Well, regardless of whether it gets anywhere, I ain’t playing along with its antics and I’ll take the consequences. Meanwhile, I’ll just live my life!
Good post. I signed a few days ago.
Good discussion on recent Darkhorse podcast No 197about this too. “In this episode we discuss the WHO’s proposed amendments to their 2005 International Health Regulations. It’s not good, as lawyer Philipp Kruse, and John Campbell, have already pointed out. These amendments, should they be approved, will mark the end of science, of democracy, and of justice. Then we discuss complexity, how to respond to complex situations, and Israel and Hamas. Our reflexes are being used to control us; life is being presented as a multiple-choice test, but we can resist that test. Finally, check out the progressive stack on the New Democratic Party convention in Canada. It’s Bananas.”
Welcome to the cashless dystopia

Great piece here by Meryl Nass on the Who’s One Health scam:

What’s the betting that “the appropriate action” taken by St George’s Hospital will be to promote the muzzy associate physician (aka nurse pretending to be a doctor) to be their EDI Lead?
“Muzzies “ as you say, don’t generally dig EDI.
Excellent speech from Tucker, as usual….…the man has an excellent bul*s*it detector….

”You can say you care about America, but if you’re sending $100 billion to foreign countries right now, you’re lying”.
Real people..not numbers on a page…
Israel are targeting and censoring journalists for covering assault on Gaza…at an unprecedented rate….the number of journalists is at least 24..they have been targeted, along with their families….under International law..it is considered a War Crime..
Al Jazeera’s main office in Gaza, has been bombed and destroyed…
On Wednesday an Israeli airstrike in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the south of Gaza targeted and killed the family of Al Jazeera’s Gaza bureau chief, Wael al-Dahdouh. The victims of Dahdouh’s family include his wife, his high-school-aged son, seven-year-old daughter, and a grandson. According to reports from Al Jazeera, 12 members of the Dahdouh family are dead, nine of whom were children, and others are still missing.
The family was staying in the camp, having fled to the south of the Gaza strip after the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) dropped leaflets in the north urging civilians to evacuate. Dahdouh remained behind to continue covering the bombardment.

It’s fine, he’s probably a terrorist or a human shield, definitely an anti semite, as well as his family.
A legitimate target to defend Israel.
Stop complaining you Hamas sympathiser.
Sadly yes, that’s where we are ….. I could post a hundred like these, but I’m not really trying to ‘compare’ deaths as such..I posted this mainly because the man has gone back to work in the most horrible of situations you can imagine…because he thinks what he is doing is really important…I think he’s a bloody marvellous example to us all….…
….and secondly because they are definitely targeting the press..I will try to find the link, but an Israeli commentator actually said it on a news programme I watched yesterday…..
It also makes me wonder, having already dismantled the internet, ……. what are they trying to hide…..?
Well Noah..it looks as though we are going to have to re-visit this topic in the near future???
@Ivan Katchanovski
Wow! Unreported 1,000,000-word Maidan massacre trial verdict corroborates my academic studies by stating as its “categorical conclusion” that there were snipers shooting from Maidan-controlled Hotel Ukraina & that it cannot be ruled out that 8 protesters were killed & 20 wounded by “unknown persons,” who were not “law enforcement officers.” This implies Maidan snipers since the verdict states that the trial disproved claims about presence of Russian snipers.

More bad news for Sir Kneel..(it’s bad for both, but worse for Labour….)
The Labour party at risk of losing 66% of the Muslim vote.https://muslimcensus.co.uk/labour-losing-muslim-vote/
This is indeed great news. Cue Labour councils unloading loads of taxpayer cash in to their Muslim enclaves.
“appropriate action’ after NHS worker associate celebrated Hamas terror attacks on Israel and advocated ‘flogging’ of journalists in a series of social media posts”
Appropriate action?
If this NHS worker had mentioned Killing trans people in would have been immediate dismissal!
“Electricity prices ‘must rise by 70% to pay for more wind farms’”
Oh super, Pile it on!
You couldn’t make it up, could you, Dings? Pure comedy gold but wait…we don’t have any – or very few – comedians courageous enough to take on all the nonsense and ridicule it for the ridiculous pile of horseshit that it is.
That Royal Assent was given to the Online Safety Bill (total oxymoron of a title) seems to have passed DS by… Considering Toby’s links to the FSU this seems to be a very weird omission
