Prepare for a Fresh Wave of Covid, Say Health Chiefs

Brits should brace for another Covid resurgence this winter, health chiefs have said amid an uptick in cases. Oh dear, is this still a thing? Here’s the Mail.

Infections appeared to plateau earlier this month, despite warnings of a fresh wave sparked by the emergence of a new variant nicknamed Pirola. [So, the last scare was yet another false alarm, but here’s another one?]

But surveillance programmes tasked with monitoring the U.K.’s outbreak suggest the trend is on the rise again.

U.K. Health Security Agency (UKHSA) bosses expect “further increases” as the season progresses. [Further increases in respiratory illness during the winter? No way.]

Dr. Mary Ramsay, UKHSA’s Director of Public Health Programmes, added: “This week’s surveillance indicates a slight increase in Covid infection rates.

“As we enter the colder months and people begin to mix more indoors, we expect to see further increases in Covid.”

She claimed this would strike “alongside the usual increases we see in other winter respiratory viruses like flu”.

Dr. Ramsay added: “We are monitoring rates closely and reminding people that when you have respiratory symptoms you should avoid mixing with others, especially those more vulnerable.”

Covid hospitalisations in England are already at a five-month high on the back of the Pirola strain, scientifically called BA.2.86, which spooked ministers into dishing out autumn booster jabs a month early.

However, virus admissions are still far below levels seen during the darkest days of the pandemic.

Fortunately Mail readers seem to be wise to the scaremongering, at least if the top rated comments are anything to go by.

Toyota Pirola would be a good name for an EV, as you’d have to be a dick to buy one.

Aka a pandemic of the vaccinated.
Get your mRNA jab and your immune system is trashed. This was known over 2 years ago

Will the medics and the MSM ever admit their complicity in, well, Genocide.
Hopefully justice awaits, albeit not in this world. May they rot in hell.

As an un-mRNA’d person who takes plenty of Vitamin D3 I am totally unconcerned by any such warning.

We need to tell these useless people where to get off and abolish their sinecures.

Does this coincide with the onset of Autumn, or the onset of the next step in WW3?

I’d say going by the footage from London today we’ve got bigger things to worry about than catching a cold with a fancy name. Only saw some snapshots posted online but there was an incredible amount of people judging by those aerial views. I’m sure Khan’s heart must swell with pride.

Judging by comments in the Mail and elsewhere, there will be a strain on the NHS due to a lot of corrupt politicians and health officials with blocked-up backsides.

It will be a stain on the NHS then.

For a fist full of roubles

How do you know if you have Covid if you don’t test? What distinguishes it from other respiratory bugs?
My friends who use the tests regularly tell me that their experiences with Covid are indistinguishable from a short cold, I assume they know what they are talking about as they have had it several times, despite boasting about their multiple boosters.

No s***t shirlock. What time of year is it? Oh look, it’s the Autumn, also known as the flu season and Covid, also known as the Wuhan Flu, is a Coronavirus, one of common variety of respiratory viruses that come round every year.

Here’s the tip of the spear “surveillance programmes tasked with monitoring the U.K.’s outbreak“.

Its their job so better to find something. If they have nothing to show for it they will get shut down.

And “the UK’s outbreak” – FFS gimme a break.

The big question is who is holding the spear? And who is nudging him or her forward? And who is paying the nudger?

Was in Aldi yesterday and delighted to see that the till screens have been taken down. I commented how great this was to the till lady and she said she wasn’t pleased and felt vulnerable. She was ‘frightened’ as her granny had cancer…presumably she thinks a bit of Perspex ‘kept her safe’

I’ve made a point of mentioning how nice it is that the silly cages are gone everywhere where they were removed (I also – entirely accidentally – smashed one 🙂 ) and the reaction was always positive.

How do they know? Its because covidians are still testing, I had a cold this week, snotty nose, and a snotty cough for 2.5 days. Friends who either had similar or a sore throat too, told me they had tested positive for Covid, they are still testing although fully recovered, I explained even the test investor said that it was not supposed to be used to detect Covid, its a cold, get on with your life, response “oh but I can’t go out as I might be Asymptomatic”. That is the level of damage these Bstrds have done to people, brainwashed them, and now they are starting again. How I wish they would all just disappear.

Yep, all those people on their 3rd, 4th, whatever “bout” of covid… I have a 9 yo who brought multiple bugs home last year, some I caught and some I didn’t, she has just got over yet another cold. If I’d religiously tested her (and me) I dread to think how many times we would have supposedly had covid. Since I haven’t religiously tested, we’ve just had winter colds and bugs. I don’t understand testing if you have cold symptoms. Stay away from elderly/unwell people regardless. Some people seem to think a negative test, no matter how unwell they feel, is a free pass for going to see granny. The only benefit I can see you get is to be able to brag on social media about how many times you’ve survived the plague.

“we expect to see further increases in Covid.”….especially as we roll out The Boosters!

Plenty of FLI’s around, of which Covid is a minor player.

DON’T STAY HOME —–PROTECT NATURAL IMMUNITY—SAVE LIVES. ————–I am not sure if people will be so easily manipulated this time. Out of the 40 or 50 people I know about half are not prepared to be vaccinated. You can manipulate some of the people some of the time, but you cannot manipulate all of the people all of the time.

A few months back I had an out-patients appointment at my local hospital. Once in the department I declined to put on a mask and was politely chastised by the nurse. She told me that on any given day several of the staff in that department were off work with “Covid”.

I expressed my surprise that people were still taking Covid tests. With a straight face she told me they weren’t, but any staff member with Covid symptoms was instructed not to come in to work. In other words a proportion of NHS staff were, and presumably are, calling in sick every day using Covid as a reason. No wonder absences in the NHS are so high and the idea that Covid is still circulating is being perpetuated.

The about 1% – 2% of people still running around masked would love nothing better than again locking the other 99% – 98% up at home because it’s really in their own, best interest and has absolutely nothing to do with them being paranoid about imaginary, invisible enemies.

Before we all were forced to be Lone Rangers [who is that masked man] I always though people who wore masks all the time in other countries were nuts.

Now I know they are.
