I wonder how many this hostile nutter represents with his despicable views. Hating somebody purely based on the fact they’re not Muslim. Just keep telling yourselves that our leaders are correct; multiculturism works and diversity is our strength. Yep.

This is just insane. Never since WW2 have we seen such a public display of antisemitism. Now let’s remember how Andrew Bridgen was treated after his blatantly *non*-antisemitic statement that he quoted and gain some perspective. ”Two Jewish elementary schools in north London will be closing their doors until next week due to a rise of antisemitism amid the war between Israel and the Hamas terrorist organization. Sky News reported that Torah Vodaas Primary School in Edgware and Ateres Beis Yaakov Primary School in Colindale both informed parents on Thursday evening they would not reopen until Monday. In a letter to parents, Rabbi Feldman of Torah Vodaas said while there was “no specific threat to our school,” it was “not a decision that has been taken lightly”. The war in Gaza has given British antisemites an excuse to attack the local Jews. Earlier this week, a kosher restaurant in the predominantly Jewish neighborhood of Golders Green in northern London had its windows broken, while an overpass a few meters away was vandalized with graffiti reading “Free Palestine”. The Community Security Trust, a charity that protects British Jews from antisemitism, said it had seen a 324% increase in reports of antisemitism as… Read more »

England ban Israel flags and will not light up Wembley arch

I think it would be more appropriate for football to stop virtue signalling completely. Minutes silence and Black Arm bands should be reserved for National figures, and football related ‘royalty’, not for any occasion the FA deems suitable. I opposed the outpouring at Floyd, and I oppose this. Similarly, the flying of other countries flags over our public buildings. One flag, the Union Flag, and no other. You can express your sadness or horror in other ways.

…agree 100% Neil….

Whatever I support or don’t shouldn’t be made ‘universal’….it just means that somebody somewhere will get left out and wonder why…or someone somewhere will be annoyed at someone’s inclusion….

Did anything happen when the Rwandan genocide was ongoing?..as far as I’m aware no nothing..even though at least 500.000 Tutsis were killed in a mass genocide….and we could find dozens of other examples…why no lights for them??

There’s also the fact that it can also be extremely embarrassing and make you look stupid when your virtue signalling goes wrong…

..a few days ago the Italian Government tweeted a photo of the Arch Of Titus in Rome, lit up in the Israeli flag, and the hashtag “we stand with Israel”

..as someone pointed out….

“Do you mean Titus, the Roman Emperor who besieged Jerusalem, massacred the Jews and destroyed the temple?”

(Which is why he is celebrated with a monument…!!)

I do wonder what is going on that we seem to be, being put in a world of constant war driven by people who never actually have to fight themselves but who use and kill the little people, all for the increasing of power and money for the few.
It will only stop when the innocents involved say no to the war mongers.

Half the population is enamoured with the idea that inviting more and more of them into our society is a good thing. Its even Islamophobic to point out the dangers. Left wingers never seem able to think about consequences.

Where have your critical faculties gone DS? Your coverage of this conflict is entirely one-sided, as is almost the entire media. There are clear signs of atrocity propaganda and media manipulation.

I condemn Hamas utterly and unequivocally and maintain Israel’s right to exist and to defend itself. I condemn the Western supporters of Hamas and the eruption of anti-Semitism.

However, Israel is committing war crimes. Collective punishment. White phosphorus. Wiping out whole families. Killing medics, journalists, UN workers. Bombing hospitals and refugee camps. Half the dead are women and children.

How about covering some of that?

I agree with your observations and can’t help feeling that we – the ordinary public – are being deliberately distracted and manipulated by this latest event. I abhor all killing and vilification of people who just want to get on with their lives. Both ordinary Israelies and Palestinian people are being used as pawns in global war games.
We are being distracted from addressing and informing ourselves about the everyday atrocities, such as the contaminated injections, being carried out in the process of taking control of us. We are being distracted from identifying the corruption of science and the way we are being manipulated to fear for our health, fear our neighbours and encouraged to hate one another for being different.

…..I have just read this in the last hour…from Al Jazeera..

  • Fear and confusion in Gaza after the Israeli army tells more than 1 million trapped Palestinians living in the north of besieged enclave to move south within 24 hours ahead of expected ground offensive.
  • UN says mass relocation “impossible”, could have devastating consequences

I do not countenance this, no matter how much sympathy I have towards Israel…
and I’m sure it will only make things much worse.

It has been declared the incident is Israel’s 9/11 . This can only mean it is, in fact, an inside job. Saying they looked aside and let it happen is a very stupid apologist’s obscuration concealing the depths of the plan. They did it. Claiming they were caught with their pants around their ankles, that they were resting, by the pool, on the belief all things were very calm and quiet in the Middle East, or that they are constantly inundated with intelligence, so much so, such there was no way to analyse it all in a timely fashion, even when told loud clanging noises of preparations were heard from hundreds of kilometres away, are all ridiculous assertions presented by the media, aiding and abetting, the subsequent massive State war crimes of genocide and ethnic cleansing, by employing misappropriation of responsibility. “Look what they did! Now we have to exercise our Right to Defend Ourselves and genocide them off the map” Oil and Gas. The slaughter, destruction and genocide will be cheered along by the West and the media will be handing out ready to go “We all Stand For Israel” flags. Facebook will promote only sympathy for Israel. And… Read more »

”Israel is committing war crimes”? What exactly did you expect Israel to do in response to Saturdays barbaric attack? Sit at home and sing Kumbaya? Why have no Arabic countries reached out to save the civilians? Why has Egypt closed off it’s only safe corridor, not accepting a single Palestinian citizen? Any civilians dying over there is due to Hamas bringing it on to their own fellow citizens because of their disgusting disregard for *all* innocent lives, not just the Jewish people. But still they hide amongst the hospital patients, the skirts of women and in the schools among the children, like cowardly, psychopathic vermin.

”Hamas vs Israel and civilians

Hamas: Targets civilians intentionally, targets people in their bedrooms, women, children, and elderly. They are looking for more deaths of Israelis, that’s their main goal

Israeli forces on the other hand warn civilians to evacuate before strikes; they are interested in destroying infrastructure used by Hamas not civilian deaths, they want to avoid civilian casualties as much as they can. Casualties due to collateral damage still happen but they are not intentional.”

Sorry Mogwai you have lost me on this one….but I appreciate you have your opinion.. Mine is ..what I expect Israel to do is rise above the exact same lawlessness, indiscriminate killing violence and atrocities..…..I expect them, despite the provocation, to remain part of the civilised world and it’s laws….If they don’t have some measure of that how can anyone blame the ‘terrorists’ if they do exactly the same back, and for exactly the same reasons?….… Your way of thinking just seems to me to be exactly what is happening..a never ending circle of violence…. I believe Israel should target Hamas..most definitely..but do you honestly think millions of civilians should pay the price for Hamas’s acts? Do you think every Ukrainian civilian should die because of Zelenskyy’s decisions….or every Irish civilian should have died because of decisions taken by Sinn Fein…Etc? Like millions of people I can see with my own eyes that the bombing in Gaza is utterly indiscriminate….yesterday a UN worker talking to TV said that there were no bomb shelters and nowhere for people to go..so warnings are worse than useless… Maybe another way to look at the question is….why do you think other countries should help… Read more »

And how precisely do you propose Israel target Hamas, who are hiding amongst and shielding behind the civilians? As I’ve posted above, the IDF are informing citizens in Gaza to evacuate and move south, giving them 24hrs notice, but Hamas are telling the citizens to stay put ( possibly forcibly, who knows? ) as they have their uses to protect the hateful swine. Did Hamas give any notice before their attack on Saturday? Will they be considerate and give notice to Israelis to run for their lives in future attacks? Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe if you were to do a poll of Israeli citizens the majority would vote for their government sitting back and doing sweet FA in response to the genocidal attack they experienced. Nothing says ”deterrent” like sitting on your arse and sending the message to your enemy that you’re fine with that behaviour and they can keep the hostages, to do with as they please, because Israel has the same disregard for them as Hamas demonstrably show for the Palestinians, that they are inconsequential and expendable. ”Israel has been informing civilians in northern Gaza that they have to evacuate and move to south Gaza. Hamas is telling… Read more »

…well I suppose if you think that killing innocent civilians in their thousands is a means to an end of getting to Hamas, then yes it’s justified….

.. of course there is no excuse for what happened, and yes, I have said before they must have justice or even revenge from Hamas..…
but if that solution, or deterrent as you call it, involves the deaths and displacement of millions of people in the process, I don’t know how you end up being in the right?

For the life of me I can’t think that Israel has the right to tell millions of people to ‘move or else’…from their own country and their own homes…

…and as I said, it will only escalate to more deaths and destruction.

I know you have a different opinion..I think we will just have to disagree on this….it’s perfectly allowed….and what I hope the forum is partly about….

I really don’t think my opinion matters one way or the other, the wheels are in motion and there is nothing we can do about it except be thankful we are not there and pray for those who are…

Why else would they hide arms and rocket launchers in schools, hospitals and residential apartments?

Exactly. Do people seriously think that as soon as they pop back over the fence to their own territory they do a ‘Jekkyl and Hyde’ and cease to be homicidal maniacs, suddenly demonstrating compassion and empathy for their people? The Palestinians are only valuable as pawns and decoys to them to use as cover. Then there’s the kids who are indoctrinated from a young age and go to ‘Jihadi school’. A means to an ends, that’s all.

I don’t think I’ve ignored anything…..I don’t see what relevance it has to what I said….and even if that were true are you saying it’s just tough then when innocent people get killed…? Wrong place wrong time?

I’d also point out that Ukraine have done exactly the same thing..but according to the media .. that is always Russias fault…when civilians are killed…..why the difference?

As I pointed out, I don’t see how indiscriminate bombing of Gaza will see the end of Hamas…it won’t….so we are looking at a massive escalation that can only mean more death and destruction…

I think it’s all well and good being an armchair pacifist, removed geographically by many miles, but also emotionally, because we have no connection to that country or even the religion. However, I’m merely trying to put myself in the shoes of an Israeli person living over there, who’s perhaps had a loved one slaughtered in cold blood or has a friend/relative who’s been taken hostage by Hamas, and nothing more has been heard from them since. I can’t even imagine what that must be like but one thing I do know is that I’d be baying for blood. Damn right I would! But it wouldn’t be the blood of the innocents. It wasn’t kids or grannies who jumped the fence on Saturday and started massacring everyone ( and evidently reveling in the horror ) in sight. No sane person wants to see innocent civilians die or suffer, that would reduce us to the level of the perpetrators, unfortunately we all know there is no easy solution to the complex mess over there either. Peace will resume at some point, no doubt, but that will only be temporary until it all kicks off again in future. But I’ve said from… Read more »

I think we agree who should be targeted, I just think we don’t agree about how that will happen.

I tried to answer your question before…if you look at a map..Israel is a tiny dot in the huge surrounding ‘Arab World’ of countries….
None of who agree with Israel, and none of whom want to help Israel complete the eradication of Palestinians from what they believe is their homeland…..

….and I have been trying not to let my emotions come into it…I’m .just trying to relay information and facts….…..

There is a great deal at stake here..maybe WW3, maybe an escalation of conflict throughout the area?

….and however mad you are on a personal level…emotion shouldn’t play a major role in the decisions of Governments and countries…or else it’s just everyone for themselves…that is why we have international laws….….as I said I’m hoping and praying calmer heads think this through….

Someone, more than one, somewhere is manipulating us towards what end I don’t really know although I would hazard a guess. To usher in a proper New World Order through a Great Reset, you first need to burn down the house. Get people divided, cause chaos, raise the hostility, have the media vomit its fear and division porn 24/7, get in the pundits to point fingers if blame, shout down any dissent, create a situation where everyone’s afraid. Utter madness. No right thinking or feeling person would applaud ANY of the actions that have just taken place or that are currently taking place. They would want a peace movement, to restore balance and harmony between peoples, to look at ALL the imbalances and once and for all aim to set them right. Everyone has a god-given, natural inalienable right to live their lives without fear or oppression, to be able to provide for their families, to have the basics of life – water, food and shelter – without those being taken away from them. This comes via The Chief Nerd on X, as I don’t have a subscription to Epoch Times..

“FDA officials in January 2022 directed Moderna to run three prospective studies on subclinical myocarditis, or heart inflammation without symptoms, after COVID-19 booster vaccination.

Moderna has shared the results of the P203 study with the FDA, an FDA spokeswoman told The Epoch Times in an email. But she declined to provide them. To obtain the results, she said, The Epoch Times would need to request them under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

The spokeswoman did not disclose why the FDA doesn’t release the results absent a FOIA request.

The Epoch Times has submitted a FOIA request for the results but has not yet received them.”

I wondered what the financial markets were up to, other than defence contractor shares skyrocketing…. Another example of ‘look over there’, under the radar shenanigans.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. has gone live with its first collateral settlement for clients using blockchain, as the largest US bank by assets pushes ahead with commercial applications built on the technology at crypto’s core.
JPMorgan’s Tokenized Collateral Network, or TCN, was used by BlackRock Inc. to turn shares in one of its money market funds into digital tokens, which were then transferred to Barclays Plc as collateral for an over-the-counter derivatives trade between the two institutions, Tyrone Lobban, head of Onyx Digital Assets at JPMorgan, said in an interview….
Through the application, the bank wants to eventually let clients use other assets as collateral, including equities and fixed income, according to Ed Bond, head of trading services at JPMorgan…
Many of JPMorgan’s biggest rivals are also pushing ahead with blockchain and digital-asset projects.
