Dan Andrews Quits as Premier of Victoria

Notorious pandemic leader Dan Andrews has announced his resignation as Premier of the Australian state of Victoria in a shock announcement.

Andrews, who imposed on his state the longest Covid lockdown in the world, said the decision was related to the challenges of the job.

When it’s time, it’s time. It’s not an easy job as Premier of our state. It requires a 100% from you and your family. That of course is time limited and now is the time to step away. The only way that I know how to do this job is to have it consume me. Every waking moment is about work and that takes a toll.

He said he’d made up his mind over the last couple of days and that he’d determined to “go when they’re asking you to stay”.

The Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, who was said to be a “little shocked” by the decision, said Andrews’s leadership was “tested by some of the toughest times” during the pandemic, but credited him for “never shirking the hard decisions” and doing everything in his power to keep Victorians safe.

Towards the end of last year, Australia’s top actuarial body said the “incredibly high” excess deaths in 2022 – 17% above the pre-pandemic average in the first eight months of the year – which were observed across the country including in Victoria, should be urgently investigated by the Government. Australian mortality has been well above average since autumn 2021.

Andrews’s reign was marked by extraordinary brutality meted out by police to ordinary workers and citizens protesting the extreme lockdown conditions he imposed on the state for months on end.

In November 2021, Andrews introduced a mandatory vaccination law affecting one million Australians, requiring those working in jobs on the state’s authorised worker list, such as professional athletes, mining workers and journalists, to be double vaccinated or quit.

Victoria’s strict vaccine regime made global headlines in early 2022 when it resulted in world tennis number one Novak Djokovic being ignominiously ejected from the country over his vaccination status the day before the Australian Open was set to begin.

Andrews at the time had been uncompromising, saying said the media circus could have been avoided if Djokovic had just got vaccinated against COVID-19.

“It’s very simple, just get vaccinated. And then everyone’s time wouldn’t have to be wasted with this,” he said.

However, despite the highly polarising effect these measures had on his state, Andrews comfortably won the 2022 state election in what later become known as a ‘Danslide’.

It has been suggested that Andrews quit once he became eligible for a tribute statue in his honour. Victorian Premiers are entitled to be memorialised in bronze near Melbourne’s Parliament House once they pass 3,000 days in office – a milestone Andrews reached on February 20th.

Ahead of the 2022 election, Sky News commentator Peta Credlin predicted: “Sometime early next year he ends up winning his little statue out the front of the Premier’s office and then he’ll p*** off and leave it to the woman, Jacinta Allan, which will enable them to effectively rebrand themselves.”

Andrews has been rewarded handsomely for his reign of terror. In recent months he secured a 3.5% pay rise, lifting his salary to $481,190 (£255,031) – up more than $16,000 (£8,480) from 2022. For comparison, the U.K. Prime Minister receives around £160,000.

Andrews will also benefit from a historic pension scheme for MPs elected before 2004, which could see him awarded millions upon retirement.

The tyrant is finally gone. But it’s always disappointing when they go out on a high rather than in disgrace for grievously violating their citizens’ rights. It is, sadly, further confirmation that the struggle to prevent authoritarian politicians imposing brutal restrictions on free societies – and getting away with it, being fêted even – is an uphill one that is far from over.

There’s a reason why he’s going.
I don’t know what it is, but these petty dictators do not just say I’ll be leaving in 2 days, it’s just the right time. Even the slimy Bliar hung on as long as he could while still managing to walk away without getting a boot up his backside.

He did what he was told to do: beta-tested the current limits of authorised police brutality and medical tyranny within a Westernised totalitarian state. Now he’s off for a cushy admin number somewhere (UN, WHO, etc) and/or a very comfortable retirement.

I wish him well. /sarc.

Every waking moment is about work and that takes a toll.

I can only jope that the toll was indeed massive and that what awaits him is a horrific, long and painful degenerative disease that will make the rest of his life a complete misery.

I really don’t like having those kind of thoughts, but I can’t help it with this bloke. He triggers me like few others.

That said, the population of Victoria deserve him if after all the abuse he put them through and being able to see how completely unnecessary it was they vote him back in.

He won according to the election rules, but it certainly wasn’t a case of most people voting for him. He got 37% of the first preference vote https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_Victorian_state_election

I understand your concerns re Toby Young and his persistent default to cock-up is a PIA to most DS members but given what is happening in the world I have to believe that at times he says what he needs to in order to deflect pressure from both DS and the FSU. Some will disagree, I know.

I think that people who see all the flaws but still want to work with the system to make things better fear the chaos of total collapse and so prefer to work with what there is.

Although personally I’m more of a tear it down and rebuild sort of person, they may have a point and I respect their efforts.

Toby’s article about the 2011 riots come to mind, how the neighbours in his street defended each other after the looting marauders moved on from the shops & fashion items into leafy suburbs. Maybe a similar outburst will happen on a larger scale with all the Agenda 21 policies on fertilizer etc.

It p’s me off no end that the likes of this dirt bag, Fauci, Turdeau, Biden and all the rest of the criminals, are still poncing about completely untouched by any sign of vax injury ( OK, with Biden you wouldn’t actually know either way ) whilst thousands upon thousands of innocent and good people took the toxic crud, for whatever reason, and have either died or been injured/disabled as a result of these bullying, sadistic megalomaniacs, who all come off completely unscathed. There is no justice in this world until these sh*tmunchers are 6ft under or behind bars, but we all know that’s just wishful thinking. Absolute scum of the earth they are.

People who’ve been almost 24×7 terrorized with COVID propaganda for years and how only the one DAN ANDREWS selflessly protected from all the horrors others countries had to live through can hardly be considered competent to give informed consent when asked if they want another dose of DAN ANDREWS. And this comes on top of electoral systems already being designed to produce the outcomes the ruling classes of our mockcracies want.

Former Prime Minister Scott Morrison and the Premiers and Territory Chief Ministers in National Cabinet initiated the destruction of voluntary informed consent for Covid-19 vaccination in June 2021, when they overruled Chief Medical Officer Paul Kelly and the AHPPC by demanding compulsory Covid-19 vaccination for workers in residential aged care. This broke the principle of voluntary informed consent for vaccination, and led to a cascade of Covid-19 vaccination mandates around the country…’No Jab, No Job’…to…’No Jab, No Life’. In Victoria, Daniel Andrews imposed a ‘vaccinated economy’, and locked out those people who refused to consent to the jabs – these people were discriminated against and barred from employment, from travel, from hospitality and entertainment, from retail shopping…it was ‘No Jab, No Life’. These critical thinking people were punished for refusing to comply with mandated medical interventions. It’s mind-boggling what has happened in Australia, where Scott Morrison announced in August 2020 he wanted Covid-19 vaccination to be “as mandatory as you can possibly make it”, in response to CEPI Chair Jane Halton’s demand for ‘no jab, no play’ for adults in May 2020, this was for the best interests of the vaccine industry. Personal autonomy and bodily integrity were trashed in… Read more »

Elizabeth, what are your personal thoughts on if these globalist scumbag leaders got the legit bioweapon or not? Do you think these evil, elite specimens got the saline shot due to literally no world leader or Premier dying or getting seriously ill? But if this were the case, how could they keep such a secret under wraps with no leaks thus far? It’s not beyond the realms of possibility but it’d take some orchestration and a fair amount of people being on board with the theatrical performance, especially with multiple repeat shots.👀🧐🎭

I don’t know Mogwai…
There have been rumours that there may be many placebos.
When you think about it, astonishing they were able to produce so many doses in such a short time…also makes you wonder about the quality assurance process.
For me it’s not about the adverse events, many others are investigating this area.
I contend that everyone has been damaged by the grossly disproportionate and ill-targeted Covid-19 response, against a disease it was known from the beginning wasn’t a serious threat to most people.
It seems billions of people have been subjected to unnecessary medical interventions, without authentic voluntary informed consent.
Basically, it’s gross over-servicing…it’s fraud.
Biggest crime of all time…and the perpetrators must be brought to account.

The huge difference in the known injuries from different batches in Germany is indicative of a complete lack of quality assurance on the part of BioNTech/Pfizer. What is even more interesting is that the medical regulator knew which batches did not need testing, they were the batches with zero reported injuries.

Someone will get Andrews sometime, somewhere. In the next couple of decades, there will be an almighty popular backlash against the technocratic dictators. I categorically don’t advocate violence, because the best way to ‘destroy’ these people is to lay out all their ideas in broad daylight, thoroughly debunk them, humiliate them and reduce them to the pitiful wastes of air they really are, delegitimising any attempt to copy them in the future. It ‘kills’ them without the sin of ending their mortal lives. But I can’t do anything about what other people might choose to do from a different perspective. By 2050, though, I suspect that there will be a lot of ageing former politicians fleeing for their lives to other countries, assuming there are any airports still open. It will be like the national socialists of 1940s Germany fleeing to South America. And I intend to live to be very, very old and thus live long enough to piss on their graves, even if I’m 120! Just wait: when the oft-mooted global cyber attack happens, by the time things get back up and running, the likes of Johnson, Hancock, Andrews, Arden, Fink and others will have vanished. Lockdowns were… Read more »
