Rishi Sunak understands that voters love Net Zero until they have to pay over the odds for it

Its more that it is completely un-necessary, because Man Made Global Warming is one huge lie, but however people turn off from it, the better.

I went to a gig in the local village hall yesterday. The utter and complete immersion of the attendees in The Message™ and the zealous positioning of Net Zero as the current religion was truly horrific. It made me feel very disheartened that the cause is already lost.

The blind ignorance of the general populace is off the scale. Dorset, where I live, had its own COP event in September and although I didn’t go, it would have full of the green-eyed indoctrinated mainly middle classes all slapping each other on the back with virtuous glee as they happily designed their own prison. I am having an online conversation with one of them who wants to know what I know. He seems genuinely surprised with what I am saying. Some people of course you can’t reach. They’ve drunk the kool-aid and won’t listen to any facts that counter the theory of manmade climate change no matter the evidence staring them in the face. They are lost, immersed as you say, in a religious-type cult. One day, they might say something along the lines of ‘We didn’t know’ at which point I might just self-implode!

Emma Raducanu tells girls they don’t need men in ‘woke’ rewriting of fairy tales

You’ll need a man when you’ve got a flat tyre, or clogged the toilet…

This is the interesting thing isn’t it? Or should I say, ”hypocritical”? We’ve spoken briefly on here about how certain professions attract a particular gender, like most primary school teachers and nurses are female. I’ve yet to meet a female mechanic, roofer, plumber or electrician. In fact all the tradesmen or handymen we’ve used have been men, and I’m sure women mechanics exist but I don’t think it’s always the case that certain jobs are actively avoiding employing a specific gender, just that it’s mostly women want to be nurses and mostly men want to be a tradesmen, for instance. It’s just a numbers game. I’ve also yet to meet a male secretary or doctors/dentist receptionist but I don’t presume these establishments are being outright sexist, just the pool they have to choose from tend to be mostly of the one sex. Ask a psychologist why though as I’ve no idea.

Indeed. I find all of this stuff is not only divisive but incredibly patronizing. Our daughters accessed all the traditional fairy tales, and we never as far as I can remember spent a lot of time discussing whether they “needed” men or what their proper roles were. We just encouraged them to work hard, enjoy life, and gave them support when they needed it. Neither of them think they “need men for financial success” and to suggest they are so stupid as to think this because of a fairy tale is taking the piss. They both seem to have a very healthy relationship with themselves and with men – they treat men as people, they stand up for themselves as people, and do not really think much in terms of “men this” and “women that”, while still recognising that men and women tend to have different ways of doing things and different focuses. Why do people like Raducanu think it’s cool to sow division?

Radacanu is of an age where all she has received as education is propaganda. She believes the lies she’s been brainwashed with.

Yes Mogs they do exist👍, I’ve worked with quite a few female builders and occasionally road workers but let’s say they are not the norm, but, just as good at the job as any male!

“Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Rapunzel are all successful young women. They have used their brains, imagination and good sense to earn enough money to look after themselves without a Prince Charming in sight.”

I personally don’t have a problem with this message – and I do have a problem with a lot of woke stuff…

Surely Financial and academic success is only part of a successful life? Having a good relationship with someone you love is a far more important success in life?

Agreed – but the time when women were largely reliant on finding a “good husband” in order to enjoy a “financially comfortable” life is not so far in the past.

True, my dad went to work and mum stayed home looking after us and the house.
There is something to be said for this old system compared to nowadays, we had mums attention and guidance for longer that present day kids get.

Er….despite being utterly immersed in fairy tales as a kid and welded to girl’s mags and fashion as a teen, I can change a tyre and unclog a toilet. My dad, a traditional man’s man if ever there was one, made all us kids learn how to change plugs and fuses, fix shelves & stuff, even check and adjust the spark plugs in my first jalopy, plus loads of other ‘non-girly’ stuff as a ‘just in case’. Sensible chap.

This is not about cultural gender roles at all. This is about the desecration and destruction of emotional growth, the ability to develop character through shared experiences and the inhuman elevation of self above all others: family, friends, partners, lovers, community. The whole thing strikes me as fundamentally anti-human and isolationist. It’s also damned lonely, if those tiktok reels of miserable wimmin are anything to go by.

I know we all know it but here’s more to confirm only the vaxxed were ( are? ) dying in excess; ”But the big deal in the data is not that deaths patterns in the population correlates with death patterns among the vaccinated majority. The big issue is that there is no correlation whatsoever between the death patterns of the population as a whole and the death patterns of the UNvaccinated. The number of deaths in the unvaccinated goes down approximately 10% in the period July-October. Even when we correct for the maximum 9% reduction in the cohort size of the unvaccinated, there is still no increase in the number of deaths among the unvaccinated, as that would land the total change for July to October at -1%. So, what can we say for sure with this data? We can say for sure that the increase in deaths from July to October in 2021 happens exclusively among the vaccinated. What does that mean? It means that whatever agent of death swept the country, it did NOT indiscriminately ravage all cohorts. Instead, it selected out the vaccinated and left the unvaccinated unscathed. Now, what kind of agent could affect the vaccinated but leave… Read more »

Seems like Macron is intending to shaft the rest of mainland Europe by granting amnesty to so many illegal immigrants; ”In the face of the events in Lampedusa, Giorgia Meloni has now said her government will step up deportations. To that end, her government has announced new detention centers for migrants are going to be built and the period of time during which they can be legally kept there waiting for their deportation is going to be extended to 18 months. However, the dangerous policy of social engineering through mass immigration conducted by Emmanuel Macron and his government in France is going to ensure things stay difficult for Italy. Indeed, adding to an already worsening record of illegal immigration, the French have been talking for almost a year now, since November 2022, about legalizing the stay of hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants. At the same time, in an effort to mislead a French electorate overwhelmingly opposed to further immigration from outside Europe into believing the government is interested in resisting illegal immigration, the French authorities have sent reinforcements to the border with Italy. This will allow France to continue to lure more people to Europe with the hope that countries like… Read more »

Most people don’t understand why the presumption of innocence is so vital but the explanation is simple.

You cannot prove a negative.

It is literally impossible for Russell Brand to prove he didn’t sexually harass anyone, The same as it is physically impossible to prove you aren’t racist.

The burden of proof must be on the accuser because in most instances you cannot prove you haven’t done something and always impossible to prove you don’t think or believe something.

We learned this back in the Middle Ages when we tried to get women to prove they weren’t witches and tortured them until they did.

I guess we’re back there now as more people are destroyed every day by mere accusations and all the burden of demonstrating their innocence shifted on to them.

The Climate Change Committee’s extremism is hiding in plain sight” – The Climate Change Committee will continue to press for its arbitrary 2050 Net Zero target regardless of cost, writes Ross Clark in the Telegraph.

The article rails against the single mindedness displayed by the CCC. As I understood it, that was the task it was given when it was set up under the Climate Change Act 2008. It can no more change its remit than the MHRA – oh, wait…

Why is it four women with serious allegations of sexual abuse at the hands of Russell Brand run to a newspaper and a tv media outlet FIRST to report it?
Surely if a woman is effected by sexual abuse of any kind the police is where you go to report the matter!

In reply to an earlier somewhat similar question another comment pointed out that they did not go to the media – they were sought out by the media. Depending on how it is spun, perhaps they could claim that ‘finally someone listened to me’. On the other hand, #metoo bandwagonning may be part of this.

Yes, let the cops get on with their jobs.

Agreed, but if a woman has been badly ill treated and traumatised like this, family and friends first, involving long thoughtful and caring understanding, persuasion to report it and then the police. Why would the media even enter into this scenario ? Money, maybe?

https://apnews.com/article/covid-tests-free-online-order-winter-6de740359e7648a85184dcac47aa96fa

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Biden administration announced Wednesday that it is providing $600 million in funding to produce new at-home COVID-19 tests and is restarting a website allowing Americans to again order up to four free tests per household — aiming to prevent possible shortages during a rise in coronavirus cases that has typically come during colder months.
The Department of Health and Human Services says orders can be placed at Covid tests.gov that starts Sept. 25, and that no-cost tests will be delivered for free by the United States Postal Service.
Twelve manufacturers that employ hundreds of people in seven states from California to Maryland have been awarded funding and will produce 200 million over-the-counter tests to replenish federal stockpiles for government use, in addition to producing enough tests to meet demand for tests ordered online, the department said.

He doesn’t have to take one as he is being coerced into having a medical intervention, meaning that his consent is invalid.
Plus ‘must’, ‘mandatory’, ‘required’ are just offers, requests & if an offer is made, then the option of declining that offer without penalty has to be available.
His other option is to perform a ‘test’ on some distilled water….

Tech giant Google provided a donation in kind worth £3,302 (approximately $4,060) to the UK Member of Parliament (MP) that recently sent letters to Rumble, TikTok, Facebook, and X that pressured them to demonetise comedian and commentator Russel Brand after anonymous sexual assault allegations were made against him.
The MP, Dame Caroline Dinenage, who chairs the Culture, Media and Sport Committee in the UK Parliament, received two tickets with hospitality and accommodation as guests of YouTube at the Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Arts 2023 on June 26, 2023. This donation in kind from Google was valued at £3,302.

An item in today’s Law Society Gazette on a lawyer being charged by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority for sending letters in February 2022 to schools and GP surgeries warning about requiring children to wear face coverings, have covid tests and facilitating the jabs.
By contrast as reported in Camden New Journal,Camden Council at instigation of international lawyer, Phillipe Sands KC wants ecocide to be considered a crime alongside genocide and war crimes. Shame that now of those professing to be interested in human rights have nay concerns on the breaches of the Nuremburg Code
