Nick Dixon and Toby Young Discuss Virtue-Signalling Men Pretending to Love Women’s Football, TalkTV’s Ambush of Graham Linehan and the Rise of Vivek Ramaswamy

Welcome to episode 51 of the Weekly Sceptic.

This week:

  • The Lionesses lose, but is it just because Rishi and Prince William didn’t show up? Or simply because they’re too white?
  • Mason Greenwood will not play for Manchester Utd again, and Nick and Toby unwisely wade into the controversy
  • Toby talks about Peter Wilby, who was especially cruel to Toby in the past, and has now been sentenced for possession of child pornography
  • Dr Shola manages to make the Lucy Letby case about race, while Sadiq Khan manages to make everything about race
  • Graham Linehan’s gig is cancelled TWICE, and he is then ‘ambushed’ by TalkTV
  • Trump refuses to debate, and Nick and Toby weigh up Vivek’s chances
  • Elon Musk decides to remove the block button from Twitter/X, despite everyone hating the idea
  • Logan Paul is humiliated by Dillon Danis over his fiancée’s past
  • All this and, of course, Peak Woke!

How could an eminent “liberal” journalist denounce “sinners” whilst accessing revolting obscenities? Easy: Left equals hypocrite. Those who fall for vain estimates of their own moral character or capacities believe that they are beyond criticism. And they behave accordingly.

I don’t like men’s football – why would I pretend to like it when birds play?

Agreed. But surely it’s even worse with a posse of ham-fisted termagants advertising their total want of femininity? Abasing themselves before the sexless, boiler-suited, inhuman orthodoxies of our horrible day? Pretending, in short – and in shorts – to be men? It is, quite frankly, repulsive. It’s like watching the grand national with the jockeys astride gazelles.

“Men Pretending to Love Women’s Football”
Especially on Radio 5, where once a year when NFL has a couple of matches here, all R5 staff are commanded to be HUGE fans of this trash “sport”. Boring. And the ****ing Hundred, cricket simplified for those unable to understand 20/20 (nothing to understand, it’s cricket for people who don’t like cricket)

Generally very good, a torrent of good sense from the ever reliable Toby, excellent points made about women’s football, more men watching it than women, and a well deserved portion of Schadenfreude for another liberal Lion, Peter Wilby, shown to be a Hyena. Slightly marred by having to listen to the constant self promotion from “the other woman” Nick, who has not yet realized that men of Toby’s stature never marry the mistress, specially not when the mistress has a pretty high body count on “The Current Thing.” Looking forward to the return of the ever classy Will Jones ASAP. Will give 5 stars when he’s back.

If you hear a man going on about women’s football then avoid him like the plague. If he persists then consider other measures.
