“Andrew Sullivan explains how the Left’s unwillingness to accept that the fight for gay rights and trans rights has essentially been won and its insistence on trying to stamp out any criticism of the LGBTQ+ agenda has reignited homophobia.”

I do wish people would stop using the “phobia” word. Are phobias not irrational? Perhaps there are people who feel “phobic” towards homosexuals – doubt there are many in the U.K. I don’t care what consenting adults do on their own time and money, but I am finding the rainbow lobby (who I doubt represent the majority of homosexuals) bloody irritating and think it’s about time they piped down and stopped demanding special treatment. In loony land that probably counts as homophobia, which now means “disagreeing with anything the rainbow lobby say” or worse “not loving the rainbow people actively enough” (silence is compliance).

It is all about finding small groups of victims. I generally find, if someone says you are a victim, its because they want to control you.

I certainly agree that there are manipulative people involved in identity politics who care nothing for the “victims” they are pretending to “help”. Evil.

Agreed, but this is now an accepted term, in the same way that “decimation” no longer has to mean “one tenth destroyed”.

I’m phobiaphobic, but nothing’s going to stop phobiamania for a long time…

I believe we must resist the corruption of language, the deliberate changing of meaning and the deliberate extension of meaning and usage such that smear words are used which trigger emotions – homophobic, racist, anti-vaxxer, pandemic. I won’t accept it.

I see the ‘Wagner Swerve’ has all the Russian Strategic Armchair Experts in its grip. Only days away from Putin being overthrown, now. Just like it was a year ago.

I do feel that many of these commentators need to have a wider vision, as in my view, the position of China cannot be ignored in all of this. China and Russia now have close military links and the Chinese and Russian air forces have been carrying out joint exercises in the Chinese Pacific area. China has an issue with Taiwan in somewhat of a parallel situation to the way Russia has an issue over Eastern Ukraine.

USA actions over Ukraine have weakened its potential to take action over Taiwan, whilst the Ukraine war has seen China and Russia become brothers in arms such that any Taiwan action could well see Russia involved. The China/Russia policy on all this seems to be patient, hold the line and hold your nerve. It is USA/NATO who seem frustrated and want to stir things up and make something happen. Consequently with this Wagner business it is difficult not to consider that there are devious Machiavellian forces at work.

Russia used to control Ukraine which was a part of its empire under former Russian regimes. China in its current guise has never controlled Taiwan but, arguably, the reverse could be true.

A most compelling theory, that I thought I came up with myself only to find it echoed elsewhere, is that this is a feint to move forces to Belarus to prepare for an attack on Kiev.

I suppose we may find out soon.

…Yes…there is now an experienced army making its way to Belarus…
I’m reading various things..I think it will take a little longer to know exactly what’s happening….

Someone who I think writes well on the Russian/Ukraine issue, said compare this (real soldiers, real tanks..) to the Jan 6th ‘insurrection’ in America….(a few disparate people wandering around..but sent to jail)…who dealt with the situation best? Is the latter a sign of someone who has lost control? He doesn’t think so and I agree with him….

I’m in favour of all independence movements both as a matter of principle and practicality.

States are more likely to treat their citizens well if they can break off and become a state of their own quite easily.

Perhaps not immediately but eventually the dynamic would lead to that.

Sorry I couldn’t find another Russian-related article as they’re all already listed above. However I did find another article which involves ‘Scotland’ and ‘madness’. Just in case we ever doubted we were truly in Clown World;

”The NHS is to warn pregnant women that they shouldn’t use gas and air – because it’s harmful to the environment.
The health service has launched a crackdown on harmful greenhouse gas emissions from the most popular method of pain relief for women during labour.
The Scottish Government has written to all health boards with an NHS plan which suggests women should be encouraged not to use Entonox for the good of the planet.”

I had a letter from NHS England last year telling me that they where changing my asthma inhaler, not because the new one was better for my condition but because it has less impact on the environment.

So clearly what’s best for the patient is now secondary to achieving Net Zero.

How many asthma sufferers puffing away on their Salbutamol does it take to match the environmental damage from just one UK Storm Shadow missile lobbed on to Russian territory, or one British depleted uranium shell, I wonder?

We must all do our bit for the planet, except the M.I.C.

I told them that I didn’t consent to the change inhaler & insisted that they continue to prescribe my usual one, which I had been told was the best product on the market for me.
I won. Can’t do anything without patient’s consent. I put it in writing & in email to the practice. Kept copies, that way they had no option but to continue with the care plan they had originally discussed & agreed with me.
Or better still look into Andreas Kalcker Forbidden Health or the Universal Antidote on chlorine dioxide. I started using this at the end of January, after a few weeks of being consistent with taking this, I spent about 48 hours coughing my guts up, clearing all manner of crap out of my lungs. Since then, no more asthma symptoms & peak flow improved by 50 points.
Inhaler is now ditched, my GP was amazed & very pleased for me.
PS Don’t believe the stuff online about it being bleach, toxic etc It works therefore its efficacy is being traduced & folk who promoted it are imprisoned….
It has been a total gamechanger for me – no more pharma drugs! Yippee!!

Yep, Capaldi’s tic was particularly bad and he really struggled, poor bloke. I watched a couple of other live sets (on iPlayer, probably edited out on playback) where the singers mentioned being ‘out of breath’ which is highly unusual. As for Axl Rose – I know he’s played hard but…blimey.

I’d be very interested to hear what UK Column’s take on the Wagner issue will be later today. Of course, the msm are parroting the same thing about Putin now being severely weakened by this apparent coup attempt, which is the narrative they wish to promote and it may even become a narrative in Russia. What ordinary Russians think about this would be very interesting to hear. Are they sick of the war? Would they willingly sacrifice their country to the west and the chaos that regime change brings? I very much doubt it but what do I know! Meanwhile, Prigozhin and his troops have been given exceptionally lenient treatment by Putin and as such it remains a threat. Quite how he got from being a hot dog salesman to being an oligarch and a billionaire is just another of those strange tales of utter corruption. And he has become popular for his anti-corruption rhetoric! But the populace always love a man in uniform talking tough – look at Ukraine – so they forgive him his foibles. As always. One thing I know for certain about all of this and that is I don’t know diddly squat about any of… Read more »

……the supposed expert ‘talking heads’ also know diddly as far as I can make out anyway, so in that you are far from alone….
This is clear from the headlines in the round-up…(did they let Ian Ron’s loose on it this morning …? LOL!)

One of the sites I read, who does try to stay relatively neutral, time and again points out that nothing the MSM ever says in relation to Russia is based on fact. It can’t be because they have a pro-Ukrainian and Government/NATO agenda….

In this case, as he says, no one really knows what has happened….the MSM just promote their ‘wishes’ OF THEIR ‘patrons’…nothing more….

as he says…

”We are still assessing what’s actually been going on so we reach a conclusion based on facts. As it should be.”

I’ll wait and see what comes out in the next few days…

If you can see the video on Twitter that I’m posting..it’s a very strange sort of coup??!!

A perennially hot-headed Prighozin with a grudge against the bosses of the defence ministry musters a minority of Wagner loyalists, but none of the officers, to go to Moscow without air cover, or strategy for how 1-5000 men would overturn the elected government. The armed forces, and the whole political establishment of all parties, rallies around Putin. So does the press including political opponents of Putin and critics of how the war is being waged. There is no popular movement on the streets. The government skilfully avoids major bloodshed, and with support from an ally (whom our press has repeatedly touted as an opponent of Putin) the situation is resolved within 24 hours. Unlike America on January 6th the armed insurrectionists are granted an amnesty, because the regime knows it has nothing to fear from them, and doesn’t do Bidenesque theatrical displays. Prigozhin obediently scuttles off to exile, recognising that the whole nation is against him (or maybe sobering up on the road and realising what a fool he’s made of himself). In all this, I’m finding it hard to see what the Western press finds in order to diagnose the last hours of Putin… or even what they ever… Read more »

Interesting perspective on the Russian non-coup Interesting thoughts by Larry Johnson (former CIA) on the recent Wagner actions (“attempted coup”): “…The Russian Government waited about 12 hours before sending police/military forces to the Wagner Group headquarters in St. Petersburg. Little sense of urgency. …Prigozhin reportedly ordered a column of Wagner troops to go from Rostov on Don to Moscow to dethrone Shoigu and maybe General Gerasimov. Take a look at the map. That is a distance of almost 1200 kilometers. How was that column of trucks and tanks supposed to refuel and cover that distance in less than 20 hours? How about this as an explanation? The entire coup narrative was generated to allow for the movement of Russian military forces to areas north and west of Voronezh without raising the alarm among NATO planners. Russia was moving forces to stop coup plotters as opposed to building up forces for a new axis of offense.” It appears that the roots of the narrative that Prigozhin was going to betray Russia starts in 2022. Someone with ties to Westerns intelligence had a relationship with Prigozhin and began sounding him out about collaborating with the West. Prigozhin let his Russian intel bosses… Read more »

This information is really important & needs to be widely disseminated. I knew about Christine Massey’s work but wasn’t aware of the German Court Case. A legal judgement in the EU has validity around the globe. THERE IS NO SARSCOV2 VIRUS     And hence, there is no Covid19 Pandemic   It is all a huge fraud   All thanks to a wonderful German Engineer, Marvin Haberland, and a great American researcher Christine Massey and an incredible German biologist, Dr Stefan Lanka and many others   Christine has proved through hundreds of FOI requests and responses, that the SARSCOV2 virus has never been isolated anywhere in the World   See https://bit.ly/3oK2RCg and https://bit.ly/41Efi0Y and the hundreds of FOI’s on Christine’s website https://bit.ly/3AxNKyA   When Greg Hunt, the then Australian Federal Health Minister was questioned in the Australian Parliament by Solihin Millin he responded with a pathetic letter (see https://bit.ly/3JVOYGf) stating he was unable to prove the explicit existence of the SARSCOV2 virus other than through citing the results of a single pseudo-scientific experiment carried out by the Doherty Institute associated with the University of Melbourne in Australia   For the results of a scientific experiment to be validated a second… Read more »

I hope you are right. I’ve been hoping for more open debate about the house of cards that is modern virolology for some time. Most people seem to find it hard to know where to begin, especially when told “but Covid is real, I had it, my grandmother died of it, etc.” The problem with the statement that viruses don’t exist is that people perceive that something does – a pathogen that causes harm. I like JJ Couey’s (Gigaohm Biological, e.g. last week’s presentation to group from Denmark) ideas on all this but appreciate many may need multiple sittings to take it all in.

BurlingtonBertie
Reply to  rachel.c

JJ’s ideas on this are really helpful as he talks about a man-made pathogen which can be copied from the computer model to cause harm – ie a third way between the dangerous & deadly virus propaganda & the fundamentalist style dogma of the no virus brigade. There was a trigger for the symptoms which resulted in a covid diagnosis but a wild, natural virus was not it. The public have been brainwashed into believing in viruses as infectious & the symptoms as proof that they’ve been infected. The brainwashing has been ongoing since Jenner…. That’s an awful lot to undo & there will be no help from the “trusted” MSM or “factcheckers” that the folk who go along with the narrative still treat as the source of the gospel on the truth. This legal precedent is something which will only gain traction in the Truth community, where even there a sizeable proportion still believe in what they’ve been told all their lives about viruses. TPTB will do all they can to suppress this information because if enough folk realise that there was no virus as they have been taught to believe, then there could be no deadly pandemic due… Read more »
