Blair Institute set out its stall for Digital IDs yesterday. Digital IDs will be the “great enabler”! To transform those failing public services and to stop the boat people apparently. It will allow public services to be “targeted” and “personalised” for you and me. Super!

I’m expecting to hear the word “enable” a lot. In fact Wes Streeting said it yesterday on JHB. “Use technology as an enabler” he said! Uncanny.

It will be an enabler – for governments. They will offer a targeted personalised denial of service for any dissenters. Just like the CCP’s digital iD in China.

Didn’t you know? Digital Identity is a “basic human right.” People in Africa and Asia are falling over themselves to be microchipped.

Public services? What public services? The notion has completely collapsed.

Another paper looking at excess mortality, this time focusing on Germany and Japan;

”In conclusion, the official fearmongering forecasts and the allegedly confirmed high death toll in 2020 from Covid-19 in high income countries did not come true, neither in Japan nor Germany. Based on early investigations in 2020 and 2021, however, great damage was not to be expected. Therefore it should be investigated to what extent the about 5 to 10 percent highly significantly increased mortalities in Germany and Japan in 2021 and 2022 might be due to the pandemic counter measures, including the vaccinations with their possibly underestimated immediate or protracted side effects.

In a study from the Maltese Mater Dei Hospital, the vaccination rate in the population was positively correlated with the frequency of emergency admissions over time. From this point of view, it seems possible that a high vaccination rate has contributed to an increased all-cause mortality in some countries. It is thus important to keep a close eye on national secular mortality trends over the next few years and to examine the possible causes of significant excess mortality.”

Simon Goddek is great. ”To the triggered liberals whose attention I caught with my initial tweet: it is entirely irrelevant whether Michelle Obama has a “schlong” or not. Also Barack’s sexual preferences have never limited our freedoms. However, what I do miss is your outcry over the past three years when our basic rights were stripped away under the guise of an allegedly deadly virus. Many of you will now either assert that the virus was indeed deadly and the measures were justified. Even if that were the case, shouldn’t you question why the virus was harmless during BLM demonstrations and while dining in restaurants, yet deadly during freedom protests and on the way to the restaurant’s bathroom? Why were unvaccinated individuals ostracized for three years and labeled as potential grandma killers? Politicians and scientists even promised us that the vaccine would prevent severe disease courses and prevent the virus from spreading. None of this turned out to be true, and the Pfizer Files reveal that this was known from the beginning. So where is your outrage towards those responsible? Why do dick-videos of the spouse of a drone mass-murdering trigger you more than the abolition of your freedoms and… Read more »

Fab stuff, Mogs. It’s always the same ‘bread and circuses’ and the fickle nature of attention, drawn to the more lurid, glitzy, brash but ultimately meaningless details rather than the dull, mundanity of true horror in slow motion. The media of course have made an art of nonsense and gossip and the, for want of a better word, truther movement often get distracted over what I always feel are surface material of things like the Obamas etc.

I agree with your main point about the mainstream media using distraction tactics to avoid attention falling on the increasing authoritarianism etc. However, I do think it would be useful to our cause if the credibility of people like Barack Obama and Tony Blair could be undermined. If Michelle is indeed a man (any thoughts?) then Barack’s credibility is blown apart…

I don’t believe Michelle Obama is a man for a second. Wasn’t that rumour first started with a meme? A funny one mind. It’s like the whole ‘Biden is an imposter’ thing. Think we have bigger fish to fry than worry our heads over such daftness tbh, though it can be a bit of light relief when we get bogged down with the more pressing, serious issues. Most normal folk like a laugh now and again, especially at that lot.

I posted my comment before reading this Mogs. No surprise we reach the same conclusion.

https://environment.ec.europa.eu/topics/nature-and-biodiversity/nature-restoration-law_en

Vote yesterday in EU Parliament regarding the above law:
44for and 44against.
Argument against is that there are already sufficient EU regulations to protect nature and that this additional law would damage farmers and industry too much.
A turning point?

“Britain has a baby shortage – and it could kill off the state pension”

There’s plenty of young fit male immigrants knocking around at the moment, make them work for their keep and pay taxes! That should bump up my pension pot a bit!

Have you seen the potential mothers though Dinger.? 40lbs over weight, mis-spelled tattoos, excessive piercings, blue and purple hair and a bad attitude to anything resembling conservative values. Forget vaccines. We need Viagra.

https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/636380

There are over 5000 signatures on this petition to date, since April 2023.

A reminder that the zealous numpties continue with their endeavours, sigh.

Looking at the petition data, I’m presuming the long list of names are those who have signed. Interestingly, some folk in Cambodia, Australia, Canada, Italy, Sweden, Thailand- and more – are concerned enough to sign to ensure that the NHS / health care providers should continue ad infinitum with the useless but harmful face masking.

UsForThem is onto this postcode/surgery/clinic abhorrence & is planning a pushback. I was a signatory to their first letter & remain one having reviewed the updated letter. Watch out for their campaign shortly. I’ll be promoting it as I feel very strongly about the harms which these muzzle imbeciles are continuing to inflict & impose on vulnerable folk.

Yes, I had the email re letter update recently, too. I agree with your valid concerns.

Whenever anyone wearing a mask talks to me, I say I can’t understand / hear them properly, due to their mouth being covered by a mask. Invariably, they will raise their voice to me 🙄 resulting in me informing them I am not deaf and it is their mask causing the problem.

I’ve been banging on about the harms these cause to normal child development, language development, to the learning disabled, to adults with a communication impairment, the impact on education, mental health, the future prison population as well as on those of us who don’t fall into any of those categories just by dehumanising us. I knew I was right back then as have spent a professional lifetime treating speech, language & communication disorders. The explosion in referrals to the profession is huge in the paediatric service & is even more impacted by the 25% job vacancy rate throughout the country, yet TPTB have decided to reduce training places….
I do the same as you. They tend to get quite grumpy!

The weather isn’t climate change… another recent example of knee-jerk climate change blame came from Springwatch, where Michaela Strachan asked about the reasons for the decline in British reptile numbers, “apart from the usual habitat loss and climate change.”

To that, the obvious reply is, “Where would you go to see most reptiles? (a) Finland, or (b) Ecuador?”

This. The working classes are the last hope for the country, it is clear to me

…and all less than a month after the momentously historical event of a change of monarch. While I’m no royalist, even I can see the cynical and sinister nature of this takeover: the extent to which my (rural, fundamentally small c conservative) local area has been drenched with Querty+ propaganda rainbows – a totalitarian dream – is truly gobsmacking.
