That left foot forward article is hilarious. “Lesser known” was how they described daily sceptic, and Toby spreads false statements. Worth a read for the laugh out loud factor alone.

…and where on earth would they get the notion that millionaires want to play politics in the first place..? Oh, of course from the left leaning billionaires doing exactly that for their side….

Hysterical! And ‘a danger to [our] democracy’ sound suspiciously like the same trope used constantly throughout the last couple of years.

The author clearly doesn’t realise that the pull ‘rightwards’ is merely us dogged centrists trying to hold the middle line while the left disappears off the cliff of totalitarianism. Why isn’t she bigging up left leaning blogs to counter this ‘dangerous’ precedent – or are they so good they don’t need the publicity?

Is Justin Trudeau right to blame Canadian wildfires on climate change?

I watched about 20 seconds of his statement in the Canadian Parliament, and concluded that he is mad as a bag of frogs. Utterly indoctrinated, or mentally ill.? Thats a toss of a coin.

I went into an Oxfam shop in Sheffield yesterday. It was packed out with women, so not much of a boycott going on.

I’d wager 95% of people have no idea and no interest in questioning what this is and where its heading.

Another day, another example the world is screwed up and wants our kids screwed up with it;

”The publisher of a new children’s book featuring a man in bondage gear and a woman with trans ‘top surgery’ scars has branded parents voicing objection as ‘homophobes’
‘Grandad’s Pride’ is the creation of Waterstones children’s book winning author and illustrator Harry Woodgate – who uses they/them pronouns – and is published by Andersen Press, who told MailOnline they stand by the product.
The children’s tome promises ‘to celebrate the power of community and the importance of LGBTQIA+ history’ and is highly regarded in some circles – even winning the Waterstones’ coveted children’s book prize.
The book’s publication also comes amid a storm over the controversial trans clinic the Travistock Centre, which is facing mass legal action from 1,000 families of children ‘who where rushed into taking life-altering puberty blockers’.”

For the love of all the gods and everything that is still normal and sane in the world, please tell me this is fake news!!! 😮 ”If you thought Democrats were done pushing the Covid hysteria, think again.  Despite announcing an end to the authoritarian Covid-19 government mandates, the Biden White House requires guests to practice social distancing and wear masks during their visit. The mandates, however, will only target those who are unvaccinated.  President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden will welcome the NCAA men’s and women’s national championship teams to “College Athlete Day” at the White House on Monday.  In an email from the White House Office of Legislative Affairs addressed to members of Congress, Covid protocols were listed, notifying lawmakers that they would need to show a negative Covid test before being allowed to attend the event. If unvaccinated, the attendees must wear a mask and social distance.  “Masking guidance: Fully vaccinated guests are not required to wear a mask on the White House grounds. Guests who are not fully vaccinated must wear a mask at all times and maintain at least six feet distance from others while on the White House grounds,” the email states.”… Read more »

Of course ! They invented & are maintaining the whole shebang ! RFK was on the Mexican / WHOLE World border with the USA recently & get this !.. 7 million people have crossed said border since Biden was foisted upon us in his 3 criminal years as puppet Potus but covid bollocks still apply to documented travellers , Well I Never !

MPs on Commons privileges committee consider sanctions on Boris Johnson supporters” – Criticisms of the panel’s impartiality are being equated by some members with contempt of Parliament, reports the Telegraph.

Contempt of Parliament? Meaning 1a below: they ain’t seen nothing yet.

1

a : the act of despising : the state of mind of one who despises : disdain

glared at him in contempt

b : lack of respect or reverence for something

acting with contempt for public safety

2

: the state of being despised

3

: willful disobedience to or open disrespect of a court, judge, or legislative body

contempt of court

In:

“‘The BBC has a reputation as a truth-teller – but in Covid it did what the Government wanted’” – Current and former staff members say debate around lockdown at the corporation was often stifled, according to the Telegraph.

We find:

While other news organisations made their own assessments of conflicting scientific evidence on coronavirus and the best ways to weigh them up, the BBC was alone among news gatherers in attending the Counter-Disinformation Policy Forum, which was chaired by ministers or civil servants.

That’s rubbish! The BBC was lying by omission and so were vast swathes of the ‘mainstream media’.

Brendan O’Neill on Johnson: O’Neill is outraged by the ousting of Johnson from politics for cakes and beer, whilst Alistair Campbell was able to spin lies about a foreign country (Iraq), causing hundreds of thousands of deaths, and get away with it.

As a principle that’s fair enough. But let’s not forget what Johnson has said about Ukraine, and how he personally scuppered the possibility of a settlement in March 2022, resulting in the virtual depopulation of Ukraine’s young males (and the emigration of many more). The public lack of concern over that puts him on a par with Campbell.

I think it is true among large enough sections of the population for it to be a big problem. Most people I know either believe the BBC is neutral and truth-seeking or disgracefully right-wing.

It just so happened that the government line and the BBC’s sort of coincided, for a time. Do we really think the BBC would have enthusiastically supported a “do nothing in particular about covid” approach?

““the U.K.’s main Right-wing blogs”, which it says are “often propped up by millionaire donors’”

I’ve no idea if blogs “propped up” by rich donors are over-represented on the political right, but it would not surprise me if it were true. The political left have captured the MSM and big business, so it’s very hard for much that is “right wing” to establish itself – corporate money will not invest, advertisers will boycott, banks will refuse to process payments, anyone involved will be cancelled from their profession, big tech social media will take down their posts and remove their channels.

What are the U.K.’s main Right-wing blogs and how influential are they?” – Left Foot Forward includes the Daily Sceptic in its list of “the U.K.’s main Right-wing blogs”, which it says are “often propped up by millionaire donors’ intent on using their money to play politics”. If any millionaire donors have some spare change, do get in touch.

I haven’t read the article yet but the first thing I’ve noticed is a large advertising banner across the bottom of Left Foot Forward’s page. When I attempted to dismiss the advert in order to get a better view of the article I was amused to find it replaced with ‘Ad served by Google’.

I wonder why ‘Right-wing blogs’ are ‘propped up by millionaire donors’? Could it be due to lack of funding from advertisers like Google?

Millionaire? Me? I wish.

Now, to actually read what they’ve written…

They complain about niche right-wing sites like Guido Fawkes but then point out the relatively large readership it has. But they don’t publish their own readership by comparison in the same article… Now which is more interesting and popular?

Even better: The article concludes with this footer:

As you’re here, we have something to ask you. What we do here to deliver real news is more important than ever. But there’s a problem: we need readers like you to chip in to help us survive. We deliver progressive, independent media, that challenges the right’s hateful rhetoric. Together we can find the stories that get lost.

We’re not bankrolled by billionaire donors, but rely on readers chipping in whatever they can afford to protect our independence. What we do isn’t free, and we run on a shoestring. Can you help by chipping in as little as £1 a week to help us survive? Whatever you can donate, we’re so grateful – and we will ensure your money goes as far as possible to deliver hard-hitting news.

But they do get Google advertising money.

“Is Justin Trudeau right to blame Canadian wildfires on climate change?”

NO! things do not spontaneously combust at 37°c!
Good Forest management does not prevent forest fire, it lessons them and regulates their size, makes them easier to control.
As I’ve mentioned, 85% of all wildfires are started by human activity! Find out how they started and put this “it was Climate change whot done it” crap to bed!
