Face Masks May Raise Risk of Stillbirths, Testicular Dysfunction and Cognitive Decline, Study Warns

Face masks may raise the risk of stillbirths, testicular dysfunction and cognitive decline in children, new research suggests.

The reason? According to a review of dozens of studies on face coverings, they can cause carbon dioxide poisoning when worn over long periods. DailyMail.com has more.

The German academics who carried out the research believe masks create a pocket of dead space between the mouth and mask, which traps the toxic gas.

They say the build-up of CO2 in pregnant women’s bodies could cause complications for the unborn fetus. They point out that CO2 also contributes to oxidative stress, which can affect cognition and cause testicular issues in men.

But independent doctors have questioned the conclusions of the study — which never directly looked at health complications and mask use, describing the link as “unlikely”.

Alluding to the surge in stillbirths during the pandemic, the German researchers said: “Circumstantial evidence exists that popular mask use may be related to current observations of a significant rise of 28% to 33% in stillbirths worldwide.“

“[And] reduced verbal, motor, and overall cognitive performance of two full standard deviations in scores in children born during the pandemic,” the researchers wrote in the paper, published in the journal Heliyon.

But the study could not conclusively prove that the masks were directly responsible for any of these complications. …

The German research team gathered data from 43 previously published studies on exposure to CO2, mask-wearing and pregnancy.

They found that after wearing a mask for more than five minutes, CO2 levels in the inhaled air rose to between 1.4% and 3.2%.

One mask study conducted in Germany, researchers measured the CO2 concentration of air behind surgical masks worn by 15 healthy men. Within 30 minutes, the CO2 concentration rose to roughly 2.8-3.2%.

In another study in Italy, scientists measured the air under surgical masks worn in a lab and found a concentration between 0.22 and 0.29% within five minutes.

Masks provide breathing resistance and create a dead space that traps CO2, leading to more inhaled and re-breathed CO2, the reviewers said.

Global warming, innit?!

Clearly, mask wearing is called for to combat global heating as it causes human to rebreath the toxic gases they’d otherwise be exhaling into the air other people need to breathe! Breath is death!

It’s rare at least in the UK but I struggle to restrain myself when I see parents who have made their children wear the things.

There is only so many times one can regurgitate or re-word the undeniable fact that face nappies don’t work and are harmful. I think the conclusion on this was reached 678,000 research papers ago. What’s interesting is that if governments are not bringing back mask recommendations/mandates ( with the exception of your criminally insane, evidence-denying NHS cult ) every winter then this in itself is an admission it was all a hoax/exercise in compliance. We had no masks signs anywhere this winter over here, and I expect it’ll be the same going forward every year. If masks did work then they’d be mandating them every single winter wouldn’t they? There’s also the contradictory double-speak of course; “Masks aren’t necessary because everyone has built up immunity via infection or injection, but make sure to roll up for your next Covid/flu jab nevertheless.”

Talking to a maskless taxi driver in Italy recently about covid, he said “the masks protected us”. As we had a plane to catch, I chose not to point out to him that since the mask mandates were dropped we are told that there have been millions of “covid cases”, so what changed?

They protected them from realizing that there was nothing to worry about. That’s an important effect because people who aren’t protected from that end up becoming extreme far right nazi antivaxxers most of the time. A truly gruesome fate.

It’s much easier if you stop caring what happens to other people.through their own stupidity. You won’t grieve their dead child, they might have to.

‘… carbon dioxide poisoning when worn over long periods.  The German academics who carried out the research believe masks create a pocket of dead space between the mouth and mask, which traps the toxic gas. German academics? There is no such thing as carbon dioxide poisoning; it is not a toxic gas! If it were we would all be dead as it is produced continually in all our body cells during cell respiration – Krebs Cycle – and removed in the blood stream, so our bodies and lungs are full of it. We exhale about 1kg of CO2 per day. CO2 is an asphyxiant gas which means it displaces oxygen, so death is caused by deficient supply of oxygen, NOT the CO2. The lethal concentration of CO2 required for this is said to be 100 000ppm. Submarines at sea have an average CO2 concentration of between 5 000 and 10 000ppm depending how long submerged, but apparently concentration of 420ppm is enough to destroy the Earth. CO2 build up through poor respiration causes hypoxia – low oxygen levels in the blood stream – which means organs and tissues do not function properly. However C02 in the lungs is a respiratory… Read more »

And the other side of the coin is that breathing out too much carbon dioxide isn’t good for us either. “Hyperventilation” screws up the blood content and it’s supply to all sorts of things.

Thank you for the reminder of a key part of my Biochemistry course in the mid 60s – Krebs Cycle. Such a joy remembering all the component chemical reactions!

Wow, the truth is really coming out now, and worse than we all thought! The lockdown, mask, and jab zealots have a LOT to answer for, and a LOT of blood on their hands!

And let’s not forget the dreaded Foegen Effect as well. CO2 is not the only thing mask wearers are constantly rebreathing!

There’s pleasure in noting all the mask wearing idiots, knowing they’re unknowingly entering themselves for the Darwin Award for those removing themselves from the human gene pool!
