‘Woke Alerts’ Warn of Products with Left-Wing Agenda in Fightback Against Woke Capitalism

American shoppers are being offered ‘woke alert‘ text warnings about products pushing a Left-wing agenda, as part of a conservative backlash to Bud Light’s partnership with a trans influencer. The Telegraph has the story.

The text notification system is being set up by conservative advocacy group Consumers’ Research in response to widespread Right-wing anger over the light beer brand’s partnership with Dylan Mulvaney a TikTok personality.

The controversy has become the latest battle in the culture wars dividing the U.S., amid fierce debate over trans rights and corporate America’s role in political activism.

The service, ‘Woke Alerts‘, will launch next week to combat what it called “woke capitalism” by informing shoppers when a major company might be pushing a liberal agenda.

Companies in the crosshairs include Coca-Cola, which Consumers’ Research branded “Woka Cola” and “woke-washed” Levi’s Jeans.

It is the latest strategy by the conservative group, following similar initiatives targeting some of the country’s large companies.

Will Hild, director of Consumers’ Research, said the text alert service was set up in light of the recent direction taken by Bud Light and other major brands, including Jack Daniels and Bank of America.

“We believe companies should focus on their customers, and not woke politicians and progressive activists,” Mr. Hild said in a statement to the Telegraph.

Consumers signing up to the free service will be notified “when companies cave to the woke mob – so they know the brands attacking their values”, he said.

He added: “Woke Alerts will inform consumers, not just about a company’s decision to descend into woke activism, but it will offer insights into what’s really behind those decisions.”

Worth reading in full, and sign up for Woke Alerts here (I’m not sure how well the service currently works in the U.K. – let us know your experiences in the comments).

Doesn’t seem to understand UK phone numbers in their sign up, but it looks very US focussed of course..

Same here. I tried to sign up but it won’t accept a UK number. Is there a US code?

This is an excellent idea and perhaps a UK organisation could jump on board. I am all for it.

I think it’d be quite good fun to do this with a GPS component, so your phone would buzz if you went near a woke business, and a browser plugin to warn you if you were about to purchase something from a woke online store, etc. What’s sauce for the goose…

Well… the basics are there ‘Track & Trace’..’ just needs a bit of adaptation.

Then we could have ten days self-isolation with a furlough payment.

Lateral Flow Woke testing to see if we have been near woke infectious business or woke infected people who should wear special masks.

Each person can make a difference. ————-If you disagree strongly with the social justice and wokery then do NOT buy the products. They will soon get the message. I have already cut out a number of products, one being DOVE (Unilver), who have these hugely irritating ads on TV where they have black women dressed in business suits staring with utter contempt at the viewer which is really saying “I am black and a woman and I have power”. ———–Wokery makes me sick.—– I would like to see their faces if George Clooney were to play Nelson Mandela in a film. The flames would be spitting from their eyes. But Why? I thought they wanted Colour Blind Casting?

In the UK there is Proctor & Gamble who were quick out of the blocks with the woke nonsense of their Gillette brand. Other P&G brands are:
Head & Shoulders
Herbal Essences
Olay
Pantene
Ariel
Bold 2 in 1
Daz
Fairy Non Bio
Lenor
Ambi Pur
Fairy
Febreze
Flash
Viakal
Fixodent
Oral-B
Seven Seas
Vicks
Braun
Gillette

All of which I try to avoid buying. Then there are Coke, Nike, Marks and Spencer. Pretty much any company who advertises on TV/other media, when was the last time you saw an all white nuclear family in an ad? And any organisation that displays the gay pride month nonsense on their brand identity, which seems to include most of government.

I’m certainly not going to stop shopping in Marks and Spencer just because they have non-white people in their advertising.

But I’ll avoid buying Nike in future, and buy Persil from now on instead of Fairy.

Not what I said. You however saw racism. Which makes you the bigot. Nice one. Maybe you and your god need to get better acquainted.

What Boomer Bloke is referring to is this apparent need by companies to make sure they feature blacks and minorities in their ads. They are clearly doing this because they want to be seen to be inclusive. ——White people make up 82% of the population apparently. Don’t you think it is a bit odd in a predominantly white population that you mostly never see 5 white people in an ad?

The point is to damage the sales of the companies that are really pushing it, in your face, ‘go woke, go broke’, and it looks like it could work:

“Trade publication Beer Business Daily analyzed early data, which it admitted was ‘limited’ by the time of publishing, and found sales had fallen since the Mulvaney announcement.”

It’s like voting in elections. I can find fault with all the parties and all the candidates, but I vote for the least worst.

I’m spoiling my ballot paper from now on unless there is a properly conservative party I can vote for. The Tories must be destroyed to leave space for an actual right wing party.

I see Dylan Mulvaney as the equivalent of me turning up to work wearing black face. Everybody associated with this peckerwood is insulting women.
