The German Pandemic Ends, But Freedom Will Never Be the Same
Browbeaten virus pest Karl Lauterbach has declared the pandemic over, just before the last German virus ordinances are set to expire. That whole storm of lies, restrictions, exaggerations and panic, which descended upon us like a hurricane three years ago, has now been withdrawn, with vastly less fanfare.
It’s awkward; nobody wants to talk about it.
The German pandemic is not ending because the virus is suddenly safer or because the vaccines have saved us or because we finally masked our way into a world free of respiratory pathogens. No, it is ending according to a timeline established last autumn, which idiotically synced virus restrictions to winter tyre rules. In this way, our rulers finally abandoned all pretence that their measures were anything more than public health theatre, performed to soothe the feelings of terrified ageing urbanites. Even that schedule proved hard to maintain, and the most visible and obnoxious restrictions had to be withdrawn months ago, as all political energy finally drained from the farce. What remains are vestigial mask mandates for care homes and clinics. After tomorrow, these institutions will be permitted to set their own rules.
In a muted, retrospective attempt to declare victory, Bayerischer Rundfunk cannot refrain from the tiresome lectures which are the wont of publicly funded state media outlets everywhere:
Yes, Germany is saying goodbye to its last measures later than some other European countries. But all those who had speculated just a few months ago that politicians would never again allow ‘complete freedom’ in Germany, as it was known before Corona, have now learned better. Holy Saturday of 2023 will usher in a return to complete normality. “The massive encroachments on fundamental rights were the exception in the pandemic,” Federal Justice Minister Marco Buschmann (FDP) told the Welt am Sonntag: “Freedom is now the rule again.”
Buschmann (pictured), who bears direct responsibility for our absurdly extended pandemic regime, could not be more wrong. Freedom is not the rule again. The years since 2020 have proven that all it takes to confine the entire civilian population of a Western country to indefinite house arrest is a viral pathogen no worse than pandemic influenza. With the right media campaign, the state can close schools and most of the economy, force millions to accept dangerous and ineffective medications, all with the support of a substantial majority of the voting public. Constitutional protections, democratic freedoms, bills of rights – these don’t matter, they are worthless. All you need is a sufficiently ‘scary’ virus and they can be immediately set aside. That is not how freedom works. None of us will ever forget this.

“None of us will ever forget this.” I disagree. Most of my friends have conveniently “forgotten” what happened in 2020 and their role in it as covid-marshals, arrow-enforcers, mask-assailants and vax-evangelists. All have removed their Facebook “I’ve been fully vaccinated” mask filters. If pushed about their “amnesia”, most of them summon the ghost of Emily Oster, though a few have retained a stockpile of masks and are clearly just waiting the word to do it all over again, convinced that we are all here today only because the majority complied and thus defeated the covidiots.
Rona simply revealed the low IQ of 80% of the population. They will believe anything, as long as the magic words of religion are used: science, experts, health and safety, models, worst-ever. The fact that these retards wanted to kill me (unstabbed who followed 0 rules, means I will never forget nor like a good Catholic, never forgive, ever).
Ironically the German fascists violated the never-again Nuremberg codes as did every other country.
In my experience people who lived in the real world and did not bother with the fake news, understood it was a scam all along (tradesmen, labourers, well educated who were informed by non lamebrain sources).
The dead and injured came in 2 waves: 1-murdered old people during LD 1 and 2-post the quackcinations. The death rate in 2020 was below that of 2000 and if you remove the murdered old people, level or below 2019.
No one discusses the massive piles of dead from LDs, the stabs, or the loss of our freedoms and reason. So ends Western ‘man’.
Ironically the German fascists violated the never-again Nuremberg codes as did every other country.
Present-day German national socialists (yes, they do still exist) were adamantly opposed to all of this. The people who threw human rights, Nuremberg codes etc overboard where the US-led antifascists, both in the USA and in Germany, ie, the very people who set all of this up to begin with.
If there’s something ironic about this, it would be that the absolutely staunch German anti-fascists (anti-fascists to a degree that terror attacks of the radical left on people suspected to have national sympathies are a regular feature in present-day Germany) who literally bend over backwards to never again could save themselves all the effort: For their so-called friends and allies, they’ll forever remain born Nazis, regardless of what they do.
Someone should really tell them this.
People have been pre-conditioned to “believe anything”. Schooling, narratives and beliefs of false histories, combined with the removal of training in critical thinking, allows the hypnotised masses to be triggered by key words to follow new instructions or be herded fearfully in new directions.
They ain’t your friends Roy.
Most of my “friends” are no longer friends..
The Covid scamdemic sorted the wheat from the chaff…
Good riddance.
Ditto.
I think he meant we sceptics won’t forget.
I agree the normies have moved on.
Many people I show this chart to are still convinced that it must be disinformation or worse.
England and Wales 2020: The worst mortality since… 2008.
If they engage at all (rare in my experience) they will say that lockdowns and then vaccines saved us, or that “we didn’t know”. Otherwise they just mumble or accuse me of being Hitler
Yes, that sounds familiar. Bit at least they might start to discuss it
I like to include the trend to zero in 2067 to show how absurd the idea that the continuous reduction should continue indefinitely. I find it helps just a few people engage in starting to discuss the chart. It has to flatten out at some stage.
Although ASMR is not a great measure of the health of the nation in that it conceals the recent increase in death rate among the younger population, it is a single number which fairly neatly shows how good we have become at keeping people alive longer.
Similar charts can be produced for many other countries. But note that the data is not available for some others which would have been interesting. China, for one..
I agree we should keep trying
For now I have run out of the energy required to not shout at them
People of mediocre ability occupying positions of power will always tend to an authoritarian style of governance; as it’s a lot easier to tell people what to do than persuade them
They discovered in Rona this is much easier than they thought
Most of us are sheep and will do what the farmer and his dog orders
The challenge we have is to install a ‘capable farmer’ like Churchill
who when a threat emerges galvanises we sheep into Lions not Mice
I don’t see that anywhere on the political horizon in Europe
Its very worrying for our children’s generation
The challenge is to convince our fellow citizens that democracy only works if the people are vigilant and that we are the last defence against tyranny and that leaders everywhere will do what they can get away with.
It took the Russians 80 years to throw off communism, and replace it with something that isn’t exactly free democracy. My concern is that the sophistication of the totalitarianism and the pace of technology will be much faster than the speed at which people can wake up and form a resistance. Dark times indeed.
Like his predecessor Loyd George, Churchill ruled in an authoritarian style based on an informal parliamentary all MPs condition of the kind recently revived to manage the so-called Corona pandemic. This was necessary because no meaningful threat to either the UK or the empire existed during all of his rule, this was all just so that he could install his preferred dictator and mass-murderer in continental Europe (Stalin).
That is why we need to find a way to ensure our rights cannot be taken again.
It appears difficult to get things through the justice system. Maybe the judicial system needs adjusting?
Can we get the political will to get the Public Health Act changed so it can not be abused again?
Does Magna Carta provide us with enough safeguards for everything else?
Having said that- the Canadian bill of rights did not save the Canadians from authoritarian rule.
Lots of questions that need answers.
Mass civil disobedience. Convince your fellow citizens to be sceptical of everything. Laws and institutions will not save us.
Well I think the Expose News team do a decent job of summing up the catastrophe of the last 3 years and the effect the gullible masses being shafted has had on society. ”Society is in deep shock, confusion and despair, with the people struggling to come to terms with the scale of the corruption and the cost of it. Government officials have been found to be heavily bribed by the Pharmaceutical companies and have also been found to be shareholders of the vaccine manufacturing companies. Take the new Prime Minister of the UK for instance. Rishi Sunak officially became Prime Minister on October 31st 2022. And look what happened to Moderna’s share price as soon as that happened. It bounced back from the never-ending decline it has been suffering throughout the year and has risen ever since. Why? Because Rishi Sunak’s company ‘Theleme’ is one of the largest shareholders in Moderna. Sunak was a hedge fund manager before he became a Member of Parliament and later Chancellor of the Exchequer, and he founded and worked at Theleme Partners LLP, a hedge fund management company based in London, UK. In 2011, Theleme was one of the earliest investors in Moderna, when… Read more »
Usual corruption at the highest levels.
Those who opposed the lunacy from the start (or even almost the start) will never forget.
Many of those who meekly went along with the lunacy are now desperate to deny their compliance, and many more are desperate to forget their compliance.
And that’s just how the people who planned and implemented the Scamdemic want it.
Oi, Buschmann. Have a shave.
If it weren’t for the glasses which nowadays everybody needs because long hours in front a screen cause ever-increasing short-sightedness, he’d look exactly like the mindless brute he is.
that politicians would never again allow ‘complete freedom’ in Germany
This half-sentence is sufficient to bury this nonsense: In theory, these so-called politicians, ie, professional members of a small set of state-alimented parties comprising a vanishingly small minority of the German population, were never entitled to take these freedoms away to begin with. The glaring example is that Frau Null would have needed to change the German constitution in order to restrict freedom of worship in any way. Frau Null chose to wipe her fat ass with it instead.
Frau Null, German for Mrz Zero, with a strong connotation of referring to a thoroughly incompetent non-entity everyone could wonderfully do without.

‘Federal Justice Minister Marco Buschmann (FDP) told the Welt am Sonntag: “Freedom is now the rule again.” ‘
I can think of a lot of places that he could stick his rules but DS comment police might object. This is such a ridiculous comment. It might have lost something in the translation but freedom is our natural human way of being and there are no rules about it. What gall!
The translation is slightly off and should probably rather have been Freedom is now again the norm (as opposed to the exception). This is obviously a contradictio in adiecto: If freedom is the norm, this means it can only withdrawn in exceptional cases, ie, freedom of certain individuals can be withdrawn in certain circumstances. When the state can summarily decree that – come tomorrow – freedom has been switched off until further notice, it’s an exception and not the norm, a privilege granted by the state the state can withdraw at leisure. That the time of the next withdrawal hasn’t yet been announced doesn’t change this.
