Morning people , I’m off to Chelmsford so just reading through todays round up , FFS ! Can it be that modern humans are really no further forward in being enlightened than we were centuries ago ! It really is embarrassing to read so many different aspects of complete idiocy !

“Chomsford” to natives…
Decent ice rink – long sessions, reasonably priced, didn’t use Covid as an opportunity to increase prices

“Electric cars being written off after minor bumps” In their crazed and fanatical dive to deliver the new world order TPTB have latched onto various new, as yet unproven technologies such as; mRNA vaccines, Electric Cars, Heat Pumps and renewable energy and like Elizabeth Bott from the ‘Just William’ stories they are petulantly stamping their feet and threatening to scream until they are sick, demanding that these unproven technologies deliver as required to facilitate their new world order. In the past new technologies have come along and if successful and useable they have become incorporated into our world and we gradually changed to make best use of them for the benefit of mankind. But we now seem to be living in Alice in wonderland Times; ”sentence first said the Queen -verdict afterwards!” They are demanding that technologies deliver results for which they have no proven record of safe and effective delivery. I understand that spent and damaged EV car batteries are already piling up at storage sites, I think there is a big spent EV battery storage site near Doncaster. There are no EV battery re-cycling facilities in the UK. Health & Safety rules require that at least 2 technicians… Read more »
I have been posting about the coming”immiseration” of the people of this country for months as have a few others. Of course it is deliberate. The intention is to make people sick, poor and compliant which allows for easier enslavement.
Sometimes I get fed up repeating myself.
Your Alice in Wonderland reference brought to mind JFK’s speech in 1962:
“We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard.”
In the end, as we now know, the Americans chose to fake the moon landing in 1969 rather than admit they had failed in their mission.
If they did fake it which I now think they did my question is why have China or Russia not spilt the beans ??
Blackmail works better if you don’t spill the beans?
The fourth consecutive day I have had to log in. Yesterday I had to log in three times.
Could somebody investigate?
A login problem like that will be due to a state issue relating to the Daily Sceptic cookies stored on your computer or device rather than due to the daily sceptic website (though that the cookies on your comp have got messed up may be due to the Daily sceptic, but if it is that is a relatively rare issue).
Either clear your browser cache and all the cookies, or, if you would rather not do that (because that usually resets login state for every website) if you are a bit more savvy with your computer, clear just the daily sceptic cache entries and all cookies stored with the DailySceptic in the address.
Thanks for the reply. I don’t think I have ‘cookies’ using Brave. Having said that I am rather computer illiterate.
I have to log in virtually every time ! 😵💫
It occasionally occurs on the same day, after I have left my kit (Firefox, running on an iMac) in it’s “sleep” mode – but then, there have been a lot of network disconnection faults due to outdoor cable failures as well.
“Did an AI Convince Someone to Sacrifice Himself for Climate Change?”
One of the most ridiculous stories I’ve heard lately. How can something like this happen to a normal rational person? It can’t. I think the man, whoever he was, was already suicidal, clearly irrational and not right in his mind. Let’s not give AI or climate change any more recognition than it should have.
Betteridge’s Law of Headlines
If a headline ends in a question, then the answer is probably ‘no’. Otherwise they’d have said it outright.
Thank you! Good to know.
“Labour leader Keir Starmer was widely mocked this weekend when he was asked by the Sunday Times to define a woman, and claimed that 99.9 per cent of women don’t have a penis – which if nothing else, rather contradicted his previous assertion that it was wrong to say that only women have a cervix.” However, he went on to confirm that 100% of British Labour Party leaders completely lacked any testicles.
👍😂
Quality.👍
Potentially wise advice related to the latest Gov panic plan: https://www.gbnews.com/lifestyle/emergency-alert-phone-siren-how-to-switch-off I’ve followed the advice for an Apple device – by default, it came with both “extreme alerts” and “extreme alerts” switched on.
Apparently, it doesn’t work at all on older kit that only uses 3G networking – in addition to not using any mobile at all, of course!
So, what is a woman?
The Cambridge Dictionary entry:
“An adult female human being”
But what is “female”?
Again, the Cambridge entry:
“Of or relating to the sex that can give birth to young or produce eggs.”
Combining the two we have a nice, unambiguous answer:
“A woman is an adult human being who can give birth to young or produce eggs.”
Case closed.
The Paul O’Grady memorial inquiry for Vaccine Dead and Injured, sign the petition. The other day I facetiously thought we should get a petition up to investigate vax deaths and injuries and name it after one of the BBC’s queans and big time vax promoter who died suddenly at a youngish age last week; just to troll I think it’s called; yet I doubted anyone would bother, but bugger me (pardon the pun) today up pops this: https://chng.it/PPXW6RyZXx
