News Round-Up
- “Sweden did exceptionally well during the COVID-19 pandemic with its open society” – No wonder the news media are totally silent about the data that show Sweden’s open society policy was what the rest of the world should have done, writes Peter C Gøtzsche in the Institute for Scientific Freedom.
- “Eco-cultist lawyers are undermining the rule of law” – A group of 120 ‘top lawyers’ have signed a ‘declaration of conscience‘ stating they will not prosecute ‘peaceful climate change protestors’. These misguided lawyers seem to consider the rule of law as just another impediment on the path to their utopia, writes Matthew Scott in the Spectator.
- “Word-Policing Away the Biggest Threat to Public Health” – The deeply disturbing silence surrounding the damning conclusions of the World Obesity Federation is one aspect of the assault on the freedom of speech, says Thorsteinn Siglaugsson.
- “U.K. trans critic Kellie-Jay Keen stopped by Auckland protestors” – Kelly-Jay Keen was doused with tomato juice at her Auckland rally on Saturday, part of an appalling attack that has only further damaged the credibility of the radical trans movement, the Mail reports.
- “JK Rowling blasts ‘mob’ at trans critic Kellie-Jay Keen rally” – JK Rowling has slammed trans rights activists in New Zealand, calling the scenes in Auckland “repellant”, the Mail reports.
- “Why did it take Seb Coe so long to see sense over transgender athletes?” – World Athletics has decided to protect women’s sport by restricting it to females. This decision should be welcomed by everyone, but why did it take them so long? asks Debbie Hayton in the Spectator.
- “Farewell, Nicola Sturgeon. Nobody is going to miss you” – Spare me the eulogies. The outgoing first minister was a dreadful leader, writes Zoe Strimpel in the Telegraph.
- “JK Rowling brought down Sturgeon… and she’ll bring down Humza Yousaf too” – The SNP front-runner urgently needs to realise that gender self-ID is political Kryptonite – and drop the whole idea, writes Michael Deacon in the Telegraph.
- “I don’t want to live in a country where some politicians get to disqualify others” – Whatever you think of Boris Johnson, the process being used to investigate him is a travesty, writes Daniel Hannan in the Telegraph.
- “Is it bonkers to see Charles as first republican King?” – The most progressive monarch Britain has ever seen is ironically being cancelled by a Leftist mob, writes Sarah Vine in the Mail on Sunday.
- “Andrew Bailey has nobody to blame for this inflation mess but himself” – Explaining the crisis as ‘greedflation’ is an embarrassment to the Bank of England, writes Michael Lynn in the Telegraph.
- “How necessary is Ofsted?” – The result of the latest Ofsted brouhaha is likely to be a typical English fudge, writes Toby Young in the Spectator.
- “Lessons rulers learned from Iraq? Make a better job of deceiving us” – Just as there were in 2003, there really are now people, high in American politics, who think that the USA is itself so good that it is entitled to make war on countries it disapproves of, directly or indirectly, writes Peter Hitchens in the Mail on Sunday.
- “America is being consumed by a terrifying new madness” – With Trump potentially facing arrest, the only question now is whether America is about to drive itself off a cliff, says Douglas Murray in the Telegraph.
- “Woke extremists are taking over America’s colleges” – Even I, someone who some may assume would be on the side of so-called ‘social justice warriors,’ was bullied out of my dream job, writes Dr Tabia Lee in the Mail.
- “Three weeks to flatten the curve became three years to flatten the society” – Watch this montage of some of the most deranged moments from the Covid era.

Perhaps Mr Bailey meant Bourla and his ilk when he referred to “greedflation”.
Morning. I am not digging this springing forward lark! lol Anyhoo, good one from HART to start the day; ”In many care homes it is still the case that if a resident visits hospital for any reason, they are then committed to 10 days’ solitary confinement once back in their home, with no visitors allowed. Why? We didn’t do this in 2019, so why on earth are we still doing it now? It is cruel and inhumane and any institution or staff member still agreeing to enact this morbid theatre has lost sight of basic humanity. Saying “it’s policy” does not make everything okay. A web of public health lies have been told so frequently, with dissent so effectively censored, that reality has been permanently distorted. In healthcare settings, basic human rights are no longer considered a necessity. We are a social species and when in hospital, at our most vulnerable, including at the beginning and ends of our lives, we need those we love around us. We need to see the faces of those caring for us to build up a trusting relationship as well as to be able to communicate clearly. We need to know that doctors have… Read more »
The question would have greater impact if phrased as “Why are you still practising acts of torture on the elderly?” & hand the individual a print out of the different modes of torture identified by Liberty in the 1970s.
What is being done to our elderly is torture, no matter what fluffy, supposedly caring language it is wrapped up in.
Rather concerning, plus Ralph Baric and his unhealthy obsession with bioweapons;
”SUMMARY: The Sars-Cov-2 virus that causes COVID-19 contains genetic fragments of HIV. This post will show that numerous scientific studies created recombinant viruses containing genes from HIV. Thus, it should not surprise anyone that a lab-engineered pathogen such as Sars-Cov-2 is a recombinant carrier of HIV genes and expresses HIV peptides such as Gp120 or Gag.
Ralph shows that recombinant pathogens combining genes from several pathogens will likely be the future bioweapon. He then explains that high pathogenicity is NOT necessary for a perfect bioweapon: instead, what is important is that the bioweapon creates fear.”

Bozo is a despicable, treasonous Next Tuesday and the way he is being treated fades to nothing considering the damage he has caused to thousands in this country. He cares nothing for the rest of us.
Foxtrot Oscar Bozo and you too Hannan you creep.
Feeling sympathy for this treasonous pig foker seems to me a clear sign of desperation to cling on to some form of authority. Stockholm syndrome anyone?
Morning all!
That montage of clips showing the collective madness during the height of the Covid years is classic comedy gold (my new stock phrase for, well, just about everything!). The lengths some people went to is hilarious however I would have liked to see, interspersed here and there, shots of our not-so-great so-called leaders at their maskless gatherings – Keir Starmer, Bozo the Clown, and the G7 or 20 or whatever it was when the leaders were not masked but all the serving staff were. That for me would make a much stronger statement and would be something worth sharing far and wide. We absolutely must ridicule these tinpot dictators at every turn now as the stakes are being raised. They must never be allowed to get away with any posturing. We have to take the war, as it is, to them…and before any over-zealous 77th Brigade type starts dialling in a Code Red or whatever it is they do when their knickers get twisted up, I mean a war of words and ideas and battles for conscience not bullets and guns. Just so we’re clear.
Yes and the occasions when the tyrants were shown wearing masks for the cameras and then caught taking them off as soon as they thought they were out of sight.
Tomato soup?
57 Varieties presumably.
Some of these headers are an excellent laugh – ‘Charles the progressive’ 🙂
Excellent!
Good afternoon all…
This is a long but worthwhile article to read, bookmark and keep…
https://off-guardian.org/2023/03/24/40-facts-you-need-to-know-the-real-story-of-covid/
We first published our hugely popular cribsheet in September of 2021 in response to dozens – even hundreds – of reader requests for sources and data. It was intended as a resource and link dump as much as an article, and intentionally free of interpretation, editorialising or opinion.
But time moves on, and as new data was published and new facts came to light, it became clear we needed to update the piece – not just in terms of facts, but in terms of approach.
So, here are all the updated key facts and sources concerning the alleged “pandemic”, to help you get a grasp on what has happened to the world since January 2020, and assist in the enlightenment of any of your friends who might be still trapped in the New Normal fog.
This is now available on the NHS for people who are considered vulnerable in relation to Covid !!??

Lawsuits Pile Up Alleging Remdesivir Killed COVID PatientsDespite research showing remdesivir is ineffective against COVID-19 and can cause high rates of organ failure, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration authorized the experimental antiviral drug for use against COVID-19 — and it’s still being used.
