Nick Dixon and Toby Young Talk About St. Gary’s Struggle to Call People Nazis, the Truth About January 6th and a Victory Against ‘Non-Crime Hate Incidents’

Welcome to the Weekly Sceptic podcast – episode 28!

This week, Nick and Toby discuss Gary Lineker’s ‘heroic’ stand against the BBC as well as how scared the Government is of footballers. They discuss Fiona Bruce being criticised for adding a legal disclaimer (at the behest of a producer) to a reference to Stanley Johnson’s alleged domestic abuse.

Toby discusses the recent victory against the Orwellian ‘non crime hate incidents’ and Nick suggests a clever way to get the police to take burglary a little more seriously.

Nick and Toby discuss the January 6th ‘insurrection’ footage, the Q-Anon Shaman’s treatment, the potential provocateur infiltrators and the inevitable media reaction. They also chat about Hugh Grant being interviewed on the red carpet and how his intolerant petulance – why is this ex-model bothering me? – went viral.

This week’s sponsor is Thor Holt and you can find him here or on his SubstackLinkedIn or Telegram channel @thor_holt.

Birdwatch makes a welcome return this week and the boys discuss the reaction (meltdown) to Peter Hitchens’ claim that the Nazis were Left wing.

And of course – Nick and Toby compete for the title of Peak Woke.

Of course the NAZIs were left wing – just read their name! Look at their economic policies and social policies: classic left wingery.

Surely the main reason for Likeker to be fired is that he is an ill-educated, bigot who is paid shed loads of money for shallow opinions and avoids tax while promoting leftie opinions.

Hitchens wisely steers clear of the “it’s in the name” argument, as it’s easily shot down by reference to all those lovely countries with “Democratic” in their names. Dead right about their policies though.

The January 6th set-up so- called “insurrection” is a stain on the United States. How many insurrectionists have their own “tour guide”? Make no mistake President Donald Trump is the west’s only hope.

I am an American and love the British podcasters. Their use of language is superior to ours and it includes more varied vocabulary. Also more sophisticated humor. Most important they don’t suffer from the verbal tic of inserting the word “like” inappropriately in their conversation. There are podcasters I have to cut off because If they do it, eventually beside the annoyance, you have to question their ideas and whether or not they know what they are talking about!

I don’t even know why you bother with this crap. For me, when I see that this is someone’s preoccupation I just assume that they are clueless about reality.

Hahaha, it absolutely made my day when you read out my podcast review!

I’m not a massive fan of conflict so Weekly Sceptic has overtaken London Calling for me, keep up the great work guys.

Top T indeed 🙂
