You Don’t Have to be a Conspiracy Theorist to be Worried About the World Economic Forum

Samuel Greg, a Distinguished Fellow in Political Economy at the American Institute for Economic Research and author, most recently, of The Next American Economy: Nation, State, and Markets in an Uncertain World, has written a good piece for the Spectator about the WEF on the eve of Davos 2023. He argues that if you care about liberty, democracy and national self-determination, it’s perfectly rational to be concerned about the influence of Klaus Schwab and his followers. Not because they are the puppeteers controlling politicians across the West, but because they’re ideas permeate the upper echelons of the global elite. In particular, Schwab’s belief in the top-down, technocratic form of government exemplified by the EU.

It wields no formal political power and can’t make anyone do anything. Nonetheless, since its founding in 1971, the WEF has become an organisation which embodies supreme confidence in the imperative of a particular type of person running the world from the top-down. In his famous 2004 essay entitled ‘Dead Souls’, the political scientist Samuel P. Huntington called this prototype ‘Davos Man’.

A clever moniker that neither Schwab nor the WEF have ever succeeded in shaking off, Davos Man was Huntington’s short-hand description of “academics, international civil servants and executives in global companies, as well as successful high-technology entrepreneurs” who thought alike and tended to view national loyalties and boundaries “as residues from the past”. Davos Man also looked with undisguised disdain, Huntington suggested, upon those who weren’t getting with the programme – whatever the content of the programme happened to be.

Therein lies the deepest problem with the WEF. It’s one thing for people to come together in international settings to discuss problems, share insights, and network. Business leaders, politicians, and NGO-types do this all the time.

It’s another thing for an outfit such as the WEF to decide that the time has come to rearrange the world from the top-down and remake the planet in a corporatist image. The ideal for which Schwab is aiming, judging from his speeches and writings, is something akin to a globalised EU, with its supranational and ingrained bureaucratic ways being transposed to an international level, and the levers of power vested in the hands of reliable Davos men and women.

In short, it’s easy to caricature the WEF and Schwab as something akin to Ian Fleming’s fictious Spectre and its criminal-mastermind Ernst Stavro Blofeld. Yet the agenda now being pursued at settings such as Davos is sufficiently alarming that anyone who believes in preserving things like liberty, sovereignty, and the decentralisation of power should be concerned.

Worth reading in full.

Stop Press: Robert Malone has a saltier take on the WEF’s current agenda on his Substack, particularly no. 4 on the WEF’s list of priorities: “Preparing for the next pandemic requires ending health disparities.” That’s uncomfortably reminiscent of the toxic new ideology I discussed yesterday, which combines extreme risk aversion – to pandemics, climate change, hate speech, etc. – with ‘equity’, meaning a commitment to protecting ‘vulnerable’ groups, e.g. ethnic minorities and the LGBTQ+ community. So the argument for, say, keeping mask mandates in place forever would run something like this: airborne viral diseases have a disproportionately negative effect on marginalised people because they have less access to healthcare, therefore governments have a moral duty to impose masks mandates.

Sorry to be a party pooper, but IMO it’s extremely unhelpful to use the phrase “conspiracy theorist”. It’s a phrase most often used by our enemies, means very little in reality, and doesn’t advance our understanding of anything. The WEF and their ideas either do, or do not, pose a threat to a way of life that we here hold dear, and we’ve all seen plenty of evidence on which we can base our judgement. Exactly how and why they are doing that, who is helping them and how, and the extent of any collaboration, is unknown and we may speculate as to the extent of it. I find some of the scenarios suggested here somewhat unlikely, but I have no proof they are inaccurate, just my opinion. Others disagree, but I am not going to call them “conspiracy theorists”.

The best thing about being a conspiracy theorist is not having myocarditis. 😁

Actually I can’t claim credit for that one, I read it somewhere. 🤫

Some of us have been more than aware of how sinister and dangerous Fuhrer Schwab and his chief money launderer Billy Gates are since the beginning of the Scamdemic. Many of us have been posting links to their eugenecist policies and their utterly depraved views of who should run the planet and indeed who should live on it and how. I am pleased to see a slow awakening from Toby but unless a grand awakening takes place humanity is FKD. Once CBDC is forced on the world it is game over and the plebs will become slaves. It is that simple. Certainly in the West we are being systematically robbed with the intention being to destroy our economies, impoverish the populations and slowly, or perhaps quickly, kill what remains of those surviving the injection onslaught. Dr Vernon Coleman has been warning of what was coming since the start and his predictions have been on the mark 90% of the time. Why he is ignored by DS is beyond me. For regular updates on what the future holds the best interpreter of our situation is Technocracy News run by the brilliant Patrick Woods. As I have stated many times, we are… Read more »

Providing a bit more of the transcription from the video on the Thales digital ID wallet…
“…meet Lucy, student in psychology and me, her digital ID wallet issued by the government, to offer a wide range of identity services. In fact I’m a handy way of proving and protecting her identity, both online and face to face. Let’s have a closer look at what I can do. I can help governments to better communicate with citizens. Right now, I’m reminding Lucy of the appointment she needs to schedule for her mandatory vaccination…” (My emphasis.)

Thinking about digital ID in an Australian context…
In the last federal election in May 2022, Andrew Charlton, previously one of former Labor prime minister Kevin Rudd’s closest advisers, was parachuted into the seat of Parramatta, becoming its Labor MP.
As reported in The Australian in April 2022, Charlton

“became an extremely successful businessman who transformed his company, AlphaBeta, into a multi-million-dollar affair that was ultimately bought by Accenture”.

Charlton was Accenture’s Australian managing director from 2020 to 2022.
Accenture is involved with Digital ID and is a partner with the World Economic Forum.
And now Andrew Charlton is in the Australian parliament…influencing the implementation of digital ID? Another example of ‘penetration of the cabinets’?

I’m afraid you are correct HP , I saw the blue Great Reset booklet for sale on Amazon , prob back in April 2020 ! We are losing to these freaks ! Just imagine – Why are they back at Davos ?? They have not long been there & failed to even try to solve any of the worlds problems , just chatting Sh1t right in front of our faces !! The new King we have now is not on our side ! Does that mean the Queen did a good job tricking us all for 70 years ? None of it matters to me any more , God help us ❤️

This “crazy” idea is playing out in reality now so quickly that by the time purple pilled people notice we will be seeing emptied out urban areas and a sudden panic over “where are all the people”?

The first war against humanity has been won by the WEF. The carnage is slow motion enough to make people doubt the results. The desire to find any other reason so strong that it will take a painfully long time before our brethren wake the f up.

Not everything is wrong with the idea of stakeholder capitalism.
The problem is that we now already have too much of it in most places and that it doesn’t work well either and has negative side effects too.
The problem of Schwab is that he is archetypical German and that of the WEF is that it has become archetypical German in its attitude.
And that archetypical German attitude always was, is and will be: Am Deutschen Wesen soll die Welt genesen.

I’ll ask for the umpteenth time:
Why are Brits and above all Brexiters even sitting at the table in Davos and Geneva?
The British elite is pushing the NI psy-op to deflect attention from the real assaults on sovereignty by the WEF and WHO.

Toby: “it’s perfectly rational to be concerned about the influence of Klaus Schwab and his followers. Not because they are the puppeteers controlling politicians across the West, but because they’re ideas permeate the upper echelons of the global elite“.

Then explains thinking with a link to: “The ideal for which Schwab is aiming, judging from his speeches and writings, is something akin to a globalised EU, with its supranational and ingrained bureaucratic ways being transposed to an international level, and the levers of power vested in the hands of reliable Davos men and women.”

Yes, “it’s perfectly rational to be concerned about the influence of Klaus Schwab and his followers” because “they are the puppeteers controlling politicians across the West”.
As Klaus Schwab admits…

“When I mention our names like Mrs Merkel, even Vladimir Putin and so on, they all have been young global leaders of the World Economic Forum. But what we are really proud of now is the young generation like prime minister Trudeau, the president of Argentina and so on. So we penetrate the cabinets. Yesterday I was at a reception for prime minister Trudeau and I know that half of this cabinet are actually young global leaders of the World Economic Forum.”

Klaus Schwab actually boasts they’ve ‘penetrated the cabinets’.
French president Emmanuel Macron and New Zealand prime minister Jacinda Ardern are WEF young global leaders
The former Australian health minister, Greg Hunt, who was health minister during Covid, was Director of Strategy at the WEF in 2000-2001, and went into the Australian parliament straight afterwards.
There must be an examination of the World Economic Forum’s influence, because we didn’t vote for this dominance, they’ve surreptitiously ‘penetrated the cabinets’, and are indeed “the puppeteers controlling politicians across the West”.

Meanwhile, in New Zealand, ruled by WEF puppet Jacinda Ardern, New Zealand demands citizens report ‘conspiracy theorists’ who ‘oppose gov’t policies’ as ‘terrorists’, News Punch, 17 December 2022. Rebecca Kitteridge, director of the New Zealand Security Intelligence Service, explained that there are “dozens of indicators” that suggest a family member or friend has been “radicalized” by conspiracy theories and could be planning a terror attack.Anyone who opposes “government policies that are interpreted as infringing on rights” or “Covid measures the government took” must be reported and investigated as terrorists, according to Kitteridge. This ‘fact check’ qualifies things a tad: New Zealand isn’t asking people to report COVID-19 policy critics, The Berkshire Eagle/Associated Press, 24 December 2022. CLAIM: New Zealand intelligence officials published a booklet asking people to report friends or family members who are critical of coronavirus-related policy measures as terrorists.THE FACTS: The New Zealand Security Intelligence Service confirmed that it is not asking people to report those who oppose COVID-19 public health measures. Posts spread widely across social media platforms claiming that New Zealand intelligence officials published a booklet asking people to report friends and family members who oppose COVID-19 measures as terrorists. Included in the posts was a video clip of an October news segment discussing a new… Read more »

And in an article published on The Australian on 16 December 2022 – Tech giants told by Peter Dutton to cut off online evil (behind the paywall), Peter Dutton, leader of the now opposition Liberal Party, “said he would work with the Albanese government on any plans it had to stem the flood of conspiracy theories, disinformation and hateful commentary online…” This story was in reference to the shooting at a Wieambilla property in Queensland, where two constables and a neighbour were shot. The three people accused of these shootings were subsequently all shot by police, so there will be no trial to provide transparency on this tragic event. Among other things, it was reported that the accused were ‘anti-vaxxers’, and it appears media reporting on this story was conflating an ‘anti-vax’ stance with domestic terrorism… In the article on The Australian referencing this story, Peter Dutton “urged members of the public to contact authorities if they had concerns that friends and relatives were engaging with wild, dangerous conspiracy theories”. So as we’ve seen with other examples of ‘lockstep’, e.g. ‘the new normal’, we see both New Zealand and Australia, two of the Five Eyes countries, coming out at the… Read more »

Thanks Mogwai.
It’s absolutely dire in Australia…and most people are oblivious to the danger.
We’ve had lockdowns, restrictions, masking/muzzling, never-ending testing and, if the government statistics are to be believed, most of the population has had at least two jabs…without valid ‘informed consent’ in my opinion…
Because there’s little in the way of restrictions at the moment, it seems most people have put out of their minds what has gone on the past two and half tyrannical years.
Plus the mainstream media here is a propaganda machine, including the wretched taxpayer-funded ABC, which has betrayed the people and failed to provide critical analysis of the Covid debacle, similar to the BBC in the UK. The Spectator in Australia provides some pushback, and alternative media TNT Radio has been great, giving people like me a chance to speak out, consider this interview with me for example, starting around 19:50: https://tntradiolive.podbean.com/e/elizabeth-hart-on-the-mike-ryan-show-05-december-2022/

Also Mogwai, I was recently invited by the Australian Medical Network to present on the topic of conflicts of interest in vaccination policy, see this video, runs for about 30 mins: https://rumble.com/v21izbu-scott-morrison-and-the-murdoch-media-mandated-vaccination-in-australia.html There’s a bit of brief background about my beginnings investigating pet vaccination…which has led me down this rabbit hole… In the presentation I focus particularly on the influence of the Murdoch media (i.e. News Corp Australia) on taxpayer-funded vaccination policy, including former prime minister Scott Morrison’s impact in facilitating the No Jab, No Pay law when he was Social Services Minister in 2015, which is now influencing ‘No Jab, No Job’ in Covid times. The influence of the highly conflicted Murdoch empire on Australian taxpayer-funded vaccination policy is a massive scandal which must be exposed and investigated. I provide some background in my presentation. Likewise Scott Morrison’s and the ‘Liberal Party’s’ betrayal of the Australian people under the guise of Covid must be put under the spotlight. My presentation also highlights that the Morrison Government lied to health practitioners in July 2021, when it announced they would have specific medical indemnity for administering the Covid jabs – it now turns out they don’t have this specific Covid medical indemnity. It’s… Read more »
