Dilbert Cancelled for Poking Fun at Woke Workplace
Popular comic strip Dilbert has been cancelled by 77 newspapers after its creator Scott Adams started incorporating anti-woke plotlines, including a black character that identifies as white. The Mail has more.
Adams’ much-loved ‘Dilbert’ comics have been in circulation since 1989 and frequently poke fun at office culture, but he announced he was sensationally dropped by publisher Lee Enterprises.
The media company owns nearly 100 newspapers across the country – including the Buffalo News, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and the Arizona Daily Sun – and has been publishing Adams’ jokes about the corporate ladder for years.
One of his most recent controversial comic strips included a black worker, who identifies as white, being asked to also identify as gay to boost his company’s environmental, social and governance [ESG] ratings.
Dave, his reoccurring character, replies: “Depends how hard you want me to sell it,” before the boss responds: “Just wear better shirts.”
Adams, 65, is believed to be worth nearly $70million – a fortune he amassed thanks to the popularity of his characters, as well as his non-Dilbert related works.

In any case, Scott Adams has been on a knife’s edge for years. He was an early Trump enthusiast and has posed some pretty awkward questions about the 2020 election. It was just a question of time before the thought police came for him.
Cancelled Dilbert?!? That’s the final straw – now I’m pissed.

So, Dilbert doesn’t fit the narrative anymore. Could that be that the narrative is stupid, hypocritical and poorly thought out.?
You only have to protect lies. The truth stands for itself.
Assuming he’s quite popular, this could be good news. The more blatant it becomes and the more mainstream the figures they attack, the more people will wake up.

Scott Adams is above the target and has taken flak. With every cancellation, it becomes more obvious totalitarianism is behind the woke agenda.
As this develops, the peddlers of the narrative expose themselves to more people.
The problem being that so many people have been indoctrinated and the narrative so embedded in public services and now spread to private companies, that they think this is okay. The peddlers are exposing more of the narrative because they have got more useful fools on-board with it all. Will there come a point where people say ‘Hang on a minute’ in large enough numbers to put a stop to it.? I sincerely doubt it. From revolution to the oversthrow of the USSR was 80 years. I expect we are looking at something similar. Even now some in Russia look back with fond nostalgia to the times of Uncle Joe Stalin… Thats people for you.
The corridors of power have been effectively captured in a lot of places but I think there’s some hope for the general public.
At a deeper level beneath this is the fostering of division and conflict by those who seek power. People’s division is precipitated by labels. Woke introduces new labels – deliberately. But so does its opposite. All one needs is lazy minds that accept superficial labels without scrutiny.

The benefits of having Dilbert delivered daily by email are twofold. Firstly, I’m guaranteed to start the day with a laugh and now secondly, I know I’m pissing off the woke brigade. Result 🤣🤣
