CDC Admits it Falsely Claimed it Was Monitoring Vaccine Safety – But Still Won’t Release the Full Data

The Director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has acknowledged publicly for the first time that the agency gave false information about its COVID-19 vaccine safety monitoring. Dr. Rochelle Walensky admitted that her agency falsely claimed it was carrying out robust safety monitoring in 2021 and that it only actually did so from March 2022 – but it still refuses to release the full data. The Epoch Times has the story.

Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the [CDC’s] Director, said in a letter made public on September 12th that the CDC did not analyse certain types of adverse event reports at all in 2021, despite the agency previously saying it started in February 2021.

“CDC performed PRR analysis between March 25th 2022, through July 31st 2022,” Walensky said. “CDC also recently addressed a previous statement made to the Epoch Times to clarify PRR were not run between February 26th 2021 to September 30th 2021.”

Walensky’s agency had promised in several documents, starting in early 2021, to perform a type of analysis called Proportional Reporting Ratio (PRR) on reports submitted to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, which it helps manage.

But the agency said in June that it did not perform PRRs. It also said that performing them was “outside th[e] agency’s purview”.

Confronted with the contradiction, Dr. John Su, a CDC official, told the Epoch Times in July that the agency started performing PRRs in February 2021 and “continues to do so to date.”

But just weeks later, the CDC said Su was wrong.

“CDC performed PRRs from March 25th 2022 through July 31st 2022,” a spokeswoman told the Epoch Times in August.

Walensky’s new letter, dated September 2nd and sent on September 6th to Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), shows that Walensky is aware that her agency gave false information. Walensky’s letter included no explanation of why that happened.

The Epoch Times reports that the CDC has “still not provided the results of the PRRs that were performed”, either to the Epoch Times or to Senator Johnson. The FDA, which has conducted “Empirical Bayesian data mining on Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System reports” also refused to provide any of the results to the Epoch Times.

Dr. Walensky claimed in her letter that Empirical Bayesian (EB) data mining is more reliable, and that the PRR results “were generally consistent with EB data mining, revealing no additional unexpected safety signals”.

Senator Johnson replied that without the data “the American people, the public cannot verify your assertion”.

Worth reading in full.

Stop Press: Dr. Josh Guetzkow has written about the story and notes that the FDA is saying it won’t release the data because it doesn’t have to unless it’s being sued. He comments: “I say, if they won’t share it because they don’t have to unless they’re sued, I’d take that as in invitation to sue them!”

This isn’t the first time that Walensky has admitted she lied. But if there are no consequences – this is a top Government official we are talking about – then they will do so again next time.

No wonder public trust of public health officials and medical ‘professionals’ is at an all time low, it is deservedly so.

It’s the “Centers for Disease Control and Prevention”. Not the “Centers for Man Made Toxin Control and Prevention”. Come on, folks, cut her a little slack.

The healthcare industry basically operates like the mafia.

They trash your store (release or exaggerate a disease, take your pick), they send the same thugs to “protect” you (“offer” vaccines), they threaten to break you legs if you don’t pay for the protection (vax mandates, loss of employment and freedom), they pay off politicians, they threaten to destroy opponents (GBD signatories, Karol Sikora, McCullough, etc) they fight amongst the families for markets (Pfizer takes AstraZeneca out).

Think of the healthcare industry as a mafia operation and nothing will surprise you.

So we know the monkey-juice wasn’t properly trialled and tested (and never will be); and now we know there was no monitoring for adverse effects, despite assurances.

Yet they claim they are experts and we should trust them 🙂

In other words, just like Israel – falsely telling people they were monitoring the novel technology/experimental gunk they were injecting into people, when for the entire first year of pumping it into hundreds of millions of people, they were doing no such thing. The only defence they can claim now is that when they said they had no safety signals that there was something wrong, they were in fact being truthful – if you have no data whatsoever, then you can truthfully state you have no evidence of AEs. On a related note, in the sense it indicates a lack of veracity regarding what has been and is being said regarding the vaxx, yesterday I came across a sentence on the website of the RIVM, the Dutch public health authority, in relation to getting one’s repeat vaxx (booster was no. 3, shot 4/5 is a ‘repeat’ shot, changing what you call it makes it work better apparently). They are ‘offering’ an autumn vaxx for all people over 12. They have stated this is necessary as the ‘protection’ wanes to pretty much zero 3 to 4 months after your last poke. Poke 3 was November 2021 – January 2022, poke 4… Read more »

There may be less to this particular story than might at first appear. She apparently said in 2021 that she would perform a PRR analysis of VAERS data in addition to the Empirical Bayesian analysis they were already doing, and then she didn’t do PRR until 2022. PRR is quite limited, it looks at the relative proportions of adverse events for a drug and compares them to the relative proportions of adverse events for other drugs. But the Empirical Bayesian technique does much the same thing. The real concern with these interventions is the volume of adverse events, not so much their proportions.

A more accurate headline would be “CDC delayed adding another monitoring technique of limited usefulness to the similar monitoring technique of limited usefulness that they were already using”.

That’s a useful perspective. Still, the bigger story appears to be the refusal of the FDA and CDC to release the analyses to the public, instead appearing to say ‘trust us, we’re the experts’. We can see how that’s panning out in Israel, with government agencies now known to be misrepresenting the warnings given by those they’ve charged to investigate adverse reactions. It’s not even necessarily the case that the CDC and FDA are lying about the results of their investigations – the VAERS system might be completely inadequate for providing accurate data to process, or if those agencies have picked the metrics for analysis on the basis of a need to believe MRNA vaccines are completely safe, their results are likely to conform to the same groupthink. The problem is that without making the analyses available, we can’t know. Why are they exploiting exemptions to the freedom of information act in order to avoid releasing their reports? It reminds me of the arrogant and chilling admission by Dr Phil Jones in the climategate email leaks, where when asked to release data explaining the basis of the Climate Research Unit temperature reconstructions, the response was: “Why should I make the… Read more »

They are and have been lying all along when they say “safe and effective”. If they do not have the relevant data to back that up, they are lying. If they do have the relevant data, it does not back that up and they are lying. They may not have been properly monitoring VAERS, Israel may not have had a VAERS-type system in place, but I am very much of the opinion that they have absolutely known from very early on that there were serious problems with the vaxx and have actual data indicating that. Fraudci was telling vaxxed people in April/May 2021 that they did not have to take a corona test, even if they were symptomatic. At that time they were full on claiming you couldn’t get infected if you were vaxxed, how can you prove that claim if you do not test the vaxxed? That alone was cause for me to believe he knew full well that the vaxx was not stopping infection. But the money train had only just left the station, he clearly didn’t want to derail it. As for the AEs – does anyone remember one of the first deaths in Europe, a Portuguese… Read more »

To paraphrase Macbeth regarding the CDC & Fauci flunkies: “They are in blood Stepped in so far that, should they wade no more, Returning were as tedious as go o’er”.

What can they do but keep doubling down!

It just takes a few bold and fearless actors to bring the whole thing down. In the immortal words of Larry Silverstein: ‘Pull it!’ It’s time.
