The Lockdown Back-Pedalling Race Begins

So far we have had Rishi Sunak’s official listening in on SAGE meetings and knowing that there was dissent in the ranks but the minutes did not reflect that. As civil society was shut down on the basis of thin air, they could not possibly break ranks.

Next, the Transport Secretary, Grant Shapps, burning the midnight oil and finding out that perhaps the Covid Omicron threat was a tad overblown. He bravely stood up for keeping the world open. But as we reported yesterday, the events that influenced these decisions are essential to interpret the decisions and actions at the critical points in the pandemic narrative.

One of our Substack subscribers, Myra, is concerned our liberties are being curtailed based on “flimsy thinking”.

The back-pedalling race has begun. Now that we have a new Prime Minister in the U.K., let’s see who else joins the contest – who will be inspired to go next. The list is a long one.

Could it be the modellers, who knew all along that the notorious kernel stargazing virus had bugged their spreadsheets but to save their IT manager’s job they stuck to their doomsday scenarios?

Maybe variant-ologists are next. They have been engaged in the ‘my variant is more transmissible than yours’ gambit, and the sweepstakes have been too high to back down. The wildest predictions would win, you see.

Then there are the suppressors, the Zero Covid gang who wanted to save the world not just by elimination of SARS-CoV-2 but also the removal of the other pesky microbes out there. They should receive a prize just by attempting to defeat biology for the benefit of humanity.

Then there are the advisers who may have said things they knew were wrong at the time but as part of the Government machinery they had no control over their affirmations.

Then there are the interventionists who spun their words on the imposition of fear and the need for precautionary principles – all for our good, of course.

Finally, there are those who have left the seat of power with sweeping statements on the epidemiology of respiratory viruses which were dictated by their desire to know best in the face of considerable uncertainty.

This might be entertaining and could go on for some time, were it not for the human, economic and democratic disaster it has left present and future generations to deal with.

In the previous post we reported just a few of the key events that took place in the 10 days before Christmas 2021. To us, the statements and decisions are erratic, contradictory and nonsensical.

We think that we should build a freely available timeline, hopefully by country, of the important decision timepoints and the statements made to support those decisions.

We would be interested in readers’ thoughts on the feasibility and importance of such an initiative.

At the moment, Grant Shapps is an ex-Transport Secretary – of course, he’s not alone having been shown the door or resigned. They come and they go in that role.

A sequence of spreadsheets with graphical output might be useful to record the past, and maybe guess at the future output of certain political actions. In general, the “Zero xyz” gangs may well behave in a similar fashion to Chairman Mao, or Pol Pot. They are not necessarily limited to a disease, after all.

Anyone who thought locking up healthy ppl of any age and deep freezing economies for a disease with an ifr of at most of 0.3% and average age of death 82 is a complete effing moron. “Scientists told me to do it” is no excuse. Anyone with A levels stats and access to the diamond Princess cruise ship data could see this was never a disease that would greatly affect otherwise healthy ppl of working age.

Indeed. I managed it with O Level stats.

Well, yes good observation perhaps I overstate the level of qualifications required.

The cost benefit analysis could have been done on the back of an envelope – in any sane calculation the cost was orders of magnitude greater than the benefit

I managed with O’Level Grade C maths, not even stats. I never understood stats.

Not only that, but the ‘zeroists’ would like to put a stop to ships like the Diamond Princess.

The Government stated:

As of 19 March 2020, COVID-19 is no longer considered to be a high consequence infectious disease (HCID) in the UK. They still savaged the economy.

Yes they did- SO the BIG Question is – WHAT went down in the next FOUR days leading upto March 23rd ! That’s the info I want to see disclosed .

Found this explanation sounds a bit like gobbledegook
“Downgrading doesn’t reduce C19 seriousness
By the Government no longer classing Covid-19 as an HCID does not mean it isn’t dangerous or serious – it’s just that it no longer meets the closely-defined criteria for an HCID.
The measures taken to introduce social distancing and self isolation have been carefully considered at a population level.
It’s “a technical classification”

That is out and out Bullshit and government knows it.

I suggest:
a) they were told to by Fauci, on behalf of the American bio-security military/Ferrar
b) Macon allegedly told Johnson he’d cut the UK off if we didn’t lockdown
c) politics / cowardice

And on that basis there are quite simply –

No Excuses!

Never Forgive. Never Forget.

‘We think that we should build a freely available timeline, hopefully by country, of the important decision timepoints and the statements made to support those decisions. ‘

Actually I have a copy of that:

March 2020. At this time… REDACTED… The Science…REDACTED… WHO… REDACTED… lockdown… REDACTED…masks… REDACTED… variant… REDACTED… vaccines… REDACTED… which brings us to September 2022.

it’s exactly the same for every Country. How odd.

Good new interview with Dr Peter McCullough on the Alex Jones show. I try and avoid Jones because his voice grates on me and he interrupts guests before they can finish their point but I stuck with it because I haven’t seen McCullough in a long time and he’s a quality guest.

McCullough shares some truth bombs inc how the virus and ‘vaccines’ have been engineered and pre-meditated for years and the mechanism for why younger, athletic people are dropping dead vs the oldies. Apparently 22% of Americans now know somebody who’s died from these shots and the pathetic uptake of the latest Covid jabs reflect this general lack of enthusiasm and ( dare I say ) awakening to things not being right and a distrust of authority. Let’s hope a similar lack of uptake will be seen universally for these latest bivalent shots that will be foisted upon the general population. Yes it always starts with the ”high risk” people but we know the formula by now, jeez…Anyway, McCullough in fine form;

Dr Heneghan, may I take this opportunity to thank you for your tireless honesty and clarity of message throughout this whole debacle and in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. You, along with Dr Mike Yeadon were, inter alia, my twin rocks in the early days when my faith in common sense looked like being severely tested. As a result, I, as a septuagenerian and my two grown up children remain unjabbed and thanks to you, feel totally vindicated in our decision to remain so.
If ever a fellow was justified in saying “I told you so”, go right ahead.

Yes – such a timeline would be useful, possibly as an aid to the Covid Enquiry.

So, for example a QC (presumably acting on behalf of the population at large) would ask a scientist or politician: “How did you reach this decision on that day?”

Scientist/politician: – ‘The evidence at the time supported this.”

QC – (refers to notes), “Actually it didn’t, the evidence at the time said something quite different. Now, I ask you again, how did you reach this decision?”

Scientist/politician: “Can I plead the fifth amendment……..?” and so on……

….

I went to watch a play tonight. The programme included a quote from a P.G. Wodehouse novel that I thought highlighted the abomination that was lockdown and social distancing. The quote is as follows: “As we grow older and realise more clearly the limitations of human happiness, we come to see that the only real and abiding pleasure in life is to give pleasure to other people.”

This hoax was manna from heaven for Sleepy Joe in his basement. Who clearly stole the 2020 election, through mass postal vote fraud. As is now happening (re:energy), Trump will be proven right.

I can’t add to the requested timeline, but I submit this great quote from Dr Mike Yeadon:

’I tried to follow the science, but it was simply not there – I then followed the money, that’s where I found the science’’ Dr Mike Yeadon

Who “drove the scamdemic?” The WHO; but who were the WHO working on behalf of?
