Fury as ‘Woke’ Lincoln Police Are Filmed Dancing at Pride festival as Crimes Go Unsolved Across U.K.
Lincolnshire Police officers have come under fire after footage posted to the force’s social media account showed them dancing the Macarena at the city’s Pride festival. MailOnline has more.
Locals have reacted with fury after multiple posts were made showing on-duty officers having fun on the force’s social media accounts from the festival, including the video of officers dancing.
Residents have criticised the force’s coverage, asking why officers were spending time at the festival instead of fighting crime on the streets.
But Chief Constable Chris Haward has hit back at critics, saying officers were present to ensure everyone enjoys a “safe” Pride.
He added he “expected” his officers to engage with the community and “join in, even dance” – as long as it did not distract from their duties.
A dispersal order had to be issued jut a couple of hours later after a number of large fights in the city.
The footage shows dozens of people in colourful clothing, holding LGBTQ+ flags, enjoying themselves at the festival while loud music plays in the background.
Around 11 people can be seen dancing along to the Macarena in the video, four of whom are fully uniformed police officers.
Many others stand around watching the officers.
The force appears to have posted photos and videos online in order to demonstrate their engagement in the community – but their decision backfired after backlash quickly emerged across social media.
Just two to three hours after the video was shared on social media, police issued a different tweet announcing a dispersal order had been put in place across the city centre after a number of large fights in the previous 24 hours.
Many on social media pointed to the dancing officers and questioned why they were not fighting crime instead of dancing at the festival.

I shake my head in disbelief at what the British Police have become. I have to say that ever since women’s lib came into being the western worlds ethics have taken a nosedive.
Can you elaborate on that? What has “women’s lib” got to do with anything going on now?
Are you implying that feminism, so basically women who demand equality with men as a basic human right because we’re not living in the Middle Ages, or even the Middle East come to that, are somehow to blame for any of this woke bullshit we’re all experiencing now?
I agree..there isn’t a society in the world that isn’t made better than by giving women education and equality….it elevates and civilises everything…
It would appear that the majority on here prefer to live like decades ago, where females were not enabled to reach their full potential and their prospects were basically get pregnant and be tied to the kitchen sink. Let’s hope none of these people are parents of daughters eh? A vile attitude that belongs in a museum. Who needs Pakistan or Afghanistan when you’ve got such a ‘progressive’ attitude towards females in the West in the year 2022? The police were investigating elsewhere, of course.
For example, they were very proactive at bringing to justice the scoundrel who was selling empty covid vaccine vials on Ebay — he was stealing from our precious NHS (obviously the bottles remain the property of the NHS even when used up and useless) and causing untold harm to our nation. On the downside, he only got 12 months in jail (and suspended!) for this most heinous of crimes — once again the justice system fails us all with these puny sentences.

They just didn’t make enough of an effort and all four of them went in the police outfit, and their cover was blown.
Our local policeman who lived locally used to play football in the park with us while on duty, he knew our parents so we behaved ourselves. Very different society now.
What, I wonder, were they expecting to happen at the Pride march that required so many officers in the first place..? They don’t have that many officers if Lincoln City are playing Scunthorpe United.

It’s great to see so many policebeings so committed to ensure that everybody has a safe pride. The fallout of these events is usually somewhat less pleasant as the antics of the (drunk) rainbow crowd tend to piss off a lot of people who then go looking for a suitable target for their anger. This can get a bit tight at times for men who are usually alone (like me). But thankfully, I don’t need the help of the police to ensure my safety (most of the times, at least). As unpride person, that could otherwise sometimes become a problem.

Strictly speaking this could be construed as breaking the Civil Service code because of the lack of impartiality. Of course it won’t because “woke inclusitivity” BS overrides all.
Sacking the people who order stuff like this (who also order that shoplifting, burglaries and street robbery must not be investigate due to lack of time and resources) would make more sense. Yet better would be getting rid of the people who hired them.
