Good morning Sceptics.
Don’t forget:
How soon is Now?
Have a lovely day.
Good morning.
Up early here to go on holiday to Spain. It took me 2 hours of pointless repetitive form filling last night to demonstrate we were covid free on an entirely stupid system.
I am intrigued to see what the US does next to let non citizens back in. A work contact I saw yesterday asked me when in was next in NYC a and I had to reply maybe never, unless his insane government got with the rest of the world and eased up over what is a cold for the vast, vast majority. I’m still not especially keen to go there though. They seem like proper covid loonies.
Interestingly, this contact claims he is friends with Bourla (credible), and that Bourla is expecting a further lockdown. This shows Bourla is actually insane, to my mind. Desperate to sell more useless death shots, of course, and talking his own book, but if he thinks fear is going to do it again, I think he’s lost the plot. CEOs invariably are sane for around 2 years then they start to believe their own bullshit (consequence of surrounding yourself with yes people).
I hope you have a fine holiday Sophie. I do miss Spain.
Thanks! It is insanely hot. Hopefully cooler rest of week.
“U.K. decision not to buy Covid drug Evusheld disappoints charities”
Why? Are the damned charities on kick-backs.?
Another good reason not to give these spongeing outfits any of my hard-earned.
And don’t that Cancer Research UK is linked to big pharma.
Cancer Research UK with an income of about £670 million last year. What a bloody Scam!
“The U.K. will not buy the drug Evusheld, which can help prevent infection in people who are immunocompromised, due to a lack of data on the duration of protection it offers against the Omicron variant”
Ah yes, because there is so much data on the duration of protection offered by the “vaccines”. Oh wait – there is! Guess what? It doesn’t work. But the government didn’t make a huge song and dance about treatments, just about the “vaccine”.
If you can access Twitter, and haven’t seen Doctor Dr McHonk-Honk, (and monkey boy)….you are in for a treat,….
A little favourite of mine…
The Pfizer prayer….
Pfizer, Pfizer, in you I trust,
even if my heart doth bust.
Strokes and clots and MMD,
are harmless side-effects from thee.
Shingles, tingles, death and blindness,
are products of your endless kindness.
My rock, my strength, there’s none that’s wiser,
than you, my omnipresent Pfizer
Amen…..
LOL!

“Restaurant scraps plant-based dishes…”
I am vegetarian (not vegan). My philosophy is that all life is sacred and I will not knowingly bring harm against any sentient being (by, for example, supporting the meat industry). If I am personally unwilling to commit the act of slaughter against an animal, I will not pretend that I am innocent by buying a product that requires this.
However, I will leave it at that. If a restaurant produces food of which I am not in favour, I simply won’t go to it, and I do have sympathy for this restaurant that has fallen victim to a group of self-righteous vegan evangelists.
But it is a bit of an over-reaction to abolish all plant-based options from your menu!
‘My philosophy is that all life is sacred…’
Clearly not, as you eat plant life.
Got to eat something. Even the strictest Buddhists eat plants. It is 100% natural for primates (us) to consume plants. Plus, plants are not sentient, and they exist as an essential element at the bottom of the food chain. Can you think of anything possible to eat that was not once alive?
Would you prefer that a cabbage was left to die a natural death rather than be harvested?
