So solar panels don’t work when it’s too hot and sunny, and wind turbines keep collapsing when it is too windy. Makes a lot of sense
…and heat pumps are so good that the chairman of the committee pushing them, told us to keep our gas boilers incase we wanted our houses to be warm in winter.
Why is the solution to the ‘climate emergency’ a bunch of technologies that are useless.? When they were deciding this, was there a grown-up in the room..?
*No adults were in the room; just youthful, neurotic “activists”, terrified out of their minds that the end is nigh, because their cult leaders told them so.
Why the 99% of people who don’t want this shite have tolerated it for so long, (and will in all likelihood continue to do so) amazes me.
*ps, apologies, I knew it was a rhetorical question! 🙂
Abject moral failure to stand up to the bullies in the first place.
The longer a bully is allowed to get away with it, the harder it is to stop them as all around are in thrall to & fear of the bully.
The woke mob is now the new thug protecting the bully from criticism.
In a violently changing climate, it makes sense to switch to weather dependent energy supply from one that isn’t.

Yes, annoying isn’t it. The morning cup of tea isn’t quite the same without it. They appear to hope to have it up again fairly soon.
Was down last night as well so it’s been quite a while now.

Has it been subject to a cyber attack for having the temerity to publish according to a true moral compass & for daring to openly question the narrative??
Some ISP’s (is that right?) are blocking TCW because it is “guilty” of publishing ‘adult content’ or some such garbage.
Some mobile providers have been doing so, because the “adult content” is too “explicit”. Apparently EE was one of these. First time that I’ve not been able to access the site from my laptop – don’t use mobile for web browsing.
No, not according to an email notice from TCW. The problem was a fault in the host servers caused by high temperatures, affecting a number of websites.
Tin foil hat removed for that theory!
Thanks for the update.
Solar panel efficiency deteriorates as their temperature rises. I have a set of them on my roof, and am familiar with that. Note that it is not just the surrounding air temperature – they can be a lot hotter than that on a bright day. A mixture of sunshine and showers, and a brisk wind is usually better than yesterday overall.
Not a big impact.

The funniest thing about Germany in a panic about Russian gas, is that Trump warned them about it at the UN several years ago, and they laughed at him.
Not laughing now are they!
Trump has a lot of character flaws and the way he expresses himself doesn’t sound “smart” but he’s not daft. I always remember the clip in which “Ali G” was trying to prank him (before he was President) – pretending to pitch a product to him (Trump was the US Alan Sugar on The Apprentice). The problem it was trying to solve was ice cream from a cone dripping on you. Ali G says something like “What do you think it is?” and Trump says “Drip proof ice cream”. The actual product idea was gloves, but drip proof ice cream is a much smarter idea. Comments suggest that Trump was made to look a fool but when I watch it, it seems the other way around.
Yes. The Ali G Collection of Lectures, Episode Politics.
Trump was the only person to politely tell him his time was up. Which happened pretty quickly. The rest weren’t brave (and/or busy) enough to do so.
My favourite “interview” was with Jacob Rees-Mogg:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szGxq3pvJPQ
Also the interview with Richard Thornburgh (former US Attorney General). His answer to Ali G’s question “What is legal,” was excellent:
“Well, I think most conduct that all of us engage in on a day-to-day basis is legal.”
Episode Law.
Boy, hasn’t that been turned on its head in the last two years…
“When is it legal to murder someone?”
https://brownstone.org/articles/the-1968-69-hong-kong-flu-pandemic-revisited/ President Johnson caught the flu, and passed it onto Frank Borman one of the Apollo 8 crew who became ill 250000 miles from earth.
Morning all…hope you are all ok and no one spontaneously combusted in the last couple of days!? just posted this in the wrong place…! “they have completely fuck*d it. There were six days of filming. Six days of real debating, sharing both sides’ reasons for choosing to get it or not, sharing science from both sides, statistics from both sides, having scientists and doctors come into the house to try and brainwash us into changing our minds (still after all the coercion no one choose to take it in the end, so that says a lot.) Yet they seem to have included only the small moments when someone slipped up, out of the entire six days of proper debating…..I knew they would edit it in a way that would make us look stupid, pick out the parts that discredit us, and twist our words, but I wasn’t expecting the manipulation to be so obvious. ….anyway I have evidence of how the debates really went, where we made a comment or asked a question and Hannah had nothing to say in response. I have evidence that we were not allowed to say certain things on camera…I have evidence of their doctor… Read more »
But really, wouldn’t you have expected it to play out just this way? What else would you expect from the BBC?
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/jul/19/europe-covid-monitoring-coronavirus-world-health-organization-who
Covid: European governments must urgently boost monitoring, WHO says‘Waiting for autumn will be too late,’ says regional director as Omicron variants drive surge in cases.
The WHO has called on European governments to urgently reinforce rather than reduce Covid-19 monitoring, warning of a potentially difficult winter as a new wave of infections sweeps across the continent.
…..It’s a no from me!
I suppose in this day and age I would be labelled a Sceptic but this WHO announcement in Sceptic terms very neatly complies with WEF methodology I.e. broadcast what’s coming before the event.
Now, can we conclude that the push for further lockdowns, on the basis that there is going to be a massive rise in infections this Autumn, is grounded in the knowledge that there WILL be a massive rise in infections and might that be because the WHO are well aware that populations are now falling victim to AIDS?
Nah, that’s Conspiracy nonsense.
Wow, “Read Health Secretary Steve Barclay’s take on the pandemic in the Mail.” … I couldn’t help myself – it was like watching a car crash in slow motion.
Here’s a couple of beautiful quotes:
The collective protection of a Covid jab has helped us to weaken the link between the cases and hospitalisations that was once a tragic inevitability, and it means we can now protect ourselves through science not restrictions.
– is there a single snippet of truth in any part of that sentence?
Or this one:
UKHSA estimates that between December and April, at least 186,000 hospitalisations were prevented in England thanks to the protection of booster doses.
– another unverifiable, unfalsifiable statement presented as fact.
They just won’t give up, will they … sigh.
I thought this Barclay chap was supposedly blessed with a smidgen of common sense?
Clearly not.
Oddly… the ONS stopped publishing data showing a surge in infections, hospitalisations & deaths among the triple-jabbed – coinciding nicely with the booster campaign.
Similar data from other Countries.
A small snippet of good news from Swansea!
Remember the cinema owner who refused to implement covid passes?
She’s been cleared of contempt of court!

I suppose I will have to be brave and go to the link.
BBC – oh hell!
Why I posted it! BBC reporting good news re covid shenanigans? The heat must have got to them!!
😀 😀
Reading about a load of fires yesterday. What interested me the most is that nobody seems to care about how the fires started.
The assumption is that they were all caused by heat or global warming.
It’s a bit like all the farms and food plants that have been burning down all over the world recently. Doesn’t seem to be much interest in what’s causing it. Just an air of “oh there’s another one, ho hum”.
If you don’t wear a mask you’re a murderer. But only where it’s been made a law, otherwise carry on killing.

Another first class takedown of the XR nutters, but look at those arrested.
“the six ‘healthcare professionals’ responsible were ‘released under investigation’ from the police’s Fresh Wharf Custody Base in Barking later the same day. They included two GPs, a specialist in child and adolescent mental health, a gynaecologist, a consultant psychiatrist and a dementia nurse.”
Given their jobs is it not reasonable to expect that these people have sufficient intelligence – but clearly not common sense – to have made themselves fully cognisant with all aspects of the subject?
Who on earth would wish to be treated by stupid idiots such as these? The thought that they may wish to medicate people ‘in their care’ does not bear thinking about.
Quite simply these people should be sacked as they are clearly not ‘fit and proper’ enough for any responsible form of employment and decidedly should not be anywhere near the health industry.
Health Secretary… science – oxymoron alert.
The science, Idiot Barclay, is telling us that boosters are increasing the risk of infections, hospitalisations, deaths, and break-out of variants evolving to resist the fixed immune response created by the disastrous mRNA juju medicine, to make a seasonal virus perennial and one which never will go away as long as mindless blobs keep urging people to get booster doses and enough fellow mindless blobs obey.

It doesn’t look good. I wonder what sort of backlash there might be from grassroots Tories?
