Face Nappy: Baby in Face Mask on Plane With Holes Cut for Eyes Sparks Ridicule and Anger
A photograph of a baby on a plane wearing an adult surgical face mask with holes cut for eyes has gone viral and sparked outrage and ridicule. MailOnline has more.
The picture has since gone viral and while many are praising the mum for trying to protect her pink-clad baby from Covid, others claimed it was ‘child abuse’.
But the photographer who captured the image on an Air New Zealand flight from Auckland to Wellington on July 1st, said it was a “super-sweet interaction” and nothing sinister.
“The baby was full of joy, jumping around and giggling away. It made the wait to get off the plane a bit more entertaining,” he said.
Some online commenters however were outraged by the image, with one saying: “If I saw this on a flight I’d remove the mask from her myself.”
Others said the photo was “so incredibly sad” and claimed it was “dangerous to cover their breathing holes like this”.
Mr Opperman, who has since turned his Instagram account private, defended the mother, saying the mask wasn’t tight around the baby’s face.
“I think it was a mix of having a laugh, and trying her best to protect her child with the equipment available to her,” he told the New Zealand Herald.

The mask wasn’t tight around the face.
The mother was just doing her best to protect her child.
It’s this sort of insanity that those of us fighting these horrific masks have to deal with.
The biggest risk facing that child, in my view, is the stupidity of the mother.

Only a lunatic thinks that these stupid things work, but for the loonies that do think they work I have never understood why you wouldn’t insist on face panties for babies, toddlers, in fact anyone breathing. It’s well know that kids can “get covid” and doubtless pass it on, so what’s the logic in exempting them. Another example of doublethink.

I’d also be quite concerned about the development of its lungs. People can’t breathe properly through those rags, I don’t care what anyone says. Children’s bodies are still developining, yet here they are being trained to breathe in an unnatural way, while breathing in microplastics and most likely chemical garbage. Does that woman know that a lot of those masks have been rejected in the past year and a half for being covered in carcinogenic chemical garbage?
Cloth ones no better, breathing in bits of cotton can’t be too good either, particularly in young lungs.

This is horrible. That female non-human would certainly also have her child vaxxed against COVID daily if this was possible. All just for its protection. Until it sadlydied. Then, she’d be crying for two COVID shots per day for toddlers.

We have covid cases all mild!! All jabbed!!at work and some students wearing masks again and some staff. The false fear or false virtue signalling still present sadly.
The problem is, that it is an SEN setting and it is even more damaging for the communication development of these youngsters and masks don’t work!! Just like this baby they are vulnerable and can’t make these decisions for themselves it is imposed!
The mother is clearly mentally ill and needs sectioning, oh and probably voted for the retarded Biden.
