News Round-Up
- “Citing a disastrous pandemic response, an expert panel calls for an overhaul of the U.S. public health system” – The New York Times reports that a bipartisan panel of health experts has called for an overhaul of the American public health system that would give Washington the authority to set minimum health standards and coordinate the nation’s health agencies. The reason cited is not enough compliance with CDC Covid orthodoxy.
- “Whatever happened to Covid?” – There is no public appetite in Britain for a return to restrictions, says David Paton in Spiked.
- “Vaccine-Induced Tolerance to Spike Protein” – Igor Chudov on his Substack page suggests that the vaccine is inducing tolerance to the virus, which may explain both protection from severe disease (which is often an immune over-reaction) and endless reinfections.
- “Cash Dethroned on the King’s Road” – Niall McCrae in the Country Squire found to his dismay that no café or pub on the Kings Road in Chelsea would accept cash.
- “The CDC says ‘severe reactions’ to the Covid vaccines are rare. That’s not what we found.” – Steve Kirsch writes that a new poll of randomly selected Americans shows that 1% of people who get the jab (equivalent to 2 million Americans) are injured so seriously they are unable to hold a job.
- “Covid vs Influenza” – ‘Bartram’ (a.k.a. Amanuensis) writes that he’s waiting for the day YouTube’s Dr. John Campbell realises that the vaccines haven’t been the saviour that he believes.
- “Monkeypox vaccine rollout for gay men who ‘participate in group sex’” – People are asked “to be vigilant about new spots, ulcers and blisters” as the UKHSA uses sexual health services to identify those most at-risk, the Telegraph reports.
- “China’s increasingly authoritarian Covid pass” – A Chinese health app, developed to enforce the Communist party’s draconian COVID-19 restrictions, is being repurposed to tighten political control on dissidents and others deemed to be troublemakers, writes Ian Williams in the Spectator – though it appears it’s not with Beijing’s blessing.
- “California Plotting to Punish Medical Dissent” – If this California bill passes, any physician who raises a number of scientific facts or studies relating to COVID-19 could be disciplined by the medical board, writes Aaron Kheriaty at Brownstone.
- “Rape trial against police officer ‘who attacked businesswoman after she invited him into her bedroom’ collapses as four jurors test positive for Covid” – Jurors in the trial of police officer David Longden-Thurgood, who has been accused of rape, have been discharged as members of the jury test positive for COVID-19, causing the collapse of the trial, the Mail reports.
- “The Delingpod: James Delingpole interviews Nick Hudson” – Watch James Delingpole interview PANDA Chairman Nick Hudson providing some “clarity and a positive outlook on the burgeoning madness”.
- “Floridians give DeSantis points for his Covid stance. Will it hold?” – The Washington Post gives lockdown sceptic Governor DeSantis a warmish write-up.
- “EU President reveals new plan to override rebel states” – National sovereignty within the EU could be set for another downgrade following Hungary’s refusal to sign up to sanctions on Russian oil, says William Nattrass in UnHerd.
- “Germany’s Greens embrace coal” – Yet nuclear energy remains verboten, writes Katja Hoyer in UnHerd.
- “Amazingly, Buzzfeed Readers Don’t Realise They Did This to Themselves” – The same people who cheered the shutdown of the Keystone Pipeline now can’t believe the prices they must pay for gas; the same people who thought stimulus checks were the bare minimum the Government could do for people struggling during Covid are now shocked by surging inflation, writes Jane Menton on Watts Up With That?
- “Australians urged to turn off lights and appliances for two hours every evening” – The Independent reports that the main reasons behind the power scarcity Down Under are unscheduled blackouts at coal-fired power stations and low evening productivity of wind and solar.
- “The HR machine is undermining free speech” – Probably the best way to defend freedom of speech in the workplace would be simply to cut HR departments by 90%, writes Charles Moore in the Telegraph.
- “Rowan Atkinson is right about ‘punching down’” – Comedy should punch in whatever direction it pleases, says Charlie Peters in Spiked.
- “From Tories and Ukippers to old-school socialists and gender critical feminists: it’s surprising when you go to our in-person events, what a diverse audience it is” – Watch Toby tell Andrew Doyle on GB News about the FSU’s broad-based appeal.

“German Greens embrace coal”.
I didn’t see that coming. I sup[pose they can always label it “biofuel”. Now for Mr. Johnson…
Well, it depends on their timeframe! There’s no shortage of lignite in Germany – often burned for power generation, and after all, it’s not as old as many other types of coal. They could argue that it’s greener than anthracite. There’s an element of speaking with a forked tongue over there, with the use of lignite as a fuel in lieu of modern nuclear reactors. That said, there has long been a lot of development of renewable energy equipment. Both of the items in my house in SW England were made in Germany – one for solar hot water, and the other being an Inverter for solar PV.
The CDC that is in bed with big pharma. No Florida next time…
Why are people determined to keep testing their summer cold to find out if its the dreaded Covid.? Are they squeezing the last bit of juice from the ‘isolation’ lemon, or are we really that paranoid that we will kill a granny somewhere if we go about our normal business.?
My guess is they can’t think of anything else to do. The last two years have sucked the lifeblood out of many people. They’ve lost any sense of autonomy they might have had and are living on autopilot. They probably know they’ve been duped by the Covid narrative – and life isn’t returning to normal – but don’t want to face up to it, talk about it, or do something positive like speaking out.
Also they might just fancy some time off work! I can’t be the only person to know of someone who has kept testing until they got a positive one, or has used ‘other means’ to elicit a positive test. I can’t believe people are wasting money on actually buying tests, although I bet they are free to certain employees like the NHS. What’s the betting they’ve got loads off ill (sunbathing at home).
Meanwhile the self employed and those with nil or only statutory sick pay slog on.
Sorry Neil, downticked you in error there rather than hitting “reply”.
Answer, (in a lot of cases around here anyway), people are simply taking the piss….OH’s niece and husband are off to Turkey tomorrow, albeit being off their work for weeks now with “Long Covid”……she is a teacher who will be off for the school holidays on their return, and he is a council worker who is gets 6 months full pay in any case.
Pretty sheepish on the phone about it to OH as she knows our stance on all the nonsense.
Can’t get a bus, a train an appointment of any kind? Look for the simplest answer; the be kind, must do our bit, do it to help others brigade are taking the mickey by exploiting this rubbish as best they can.
TLDR: fooking malingerers and snowflakes……BOOOOOOO!!
….yes, it might be anecdotal but the only people I hear talking about Long Covid, are all in highly paid jobs that have good/full sick pay…the ONLY ones.
Agreed……for some reason working in a supermarket, or having your own small business, (for example), makes you immune from so called Long Covid.
Strange that.
You do realise you can cancel a downtick by hitting uptick? Hit it again and it becomes an uptick. You can change it as many times as you want…
Morning all!
I’m on holiday this week, so posts will be few…but I will read everyone else every day…keep up the good work….

https://jackanapes.substack.com/p/new-foia-release-shows-cdc-lied-about?r=2k2rp&s=r&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=email
Back in September, I published an article in CHD’s The Defender, where I showed the alarming and unambiguous safety signals coming from the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS), using the CDC’s own published methodology. In that article, I wondered out loud why, if the safety signals were so blaringly obvious, nobody was doing anything. Was anybody listening?
Well, it turns out the CDC wasn’t even looking for safety signals! They said they were going to use the most basic, standard pharmacovigilance method by calculating what are called proportional reporting ratios (PRR’s) to monitor VAERS (see the article linked above for more details). But it turns out they didn’t. And then they turned around and said they weren’t seeing any safety signals in VAERS. They forgot to mention that they weren’t looking for any.
Good read in conjunction with Steve Kirsch…who comments on this one…
It is not over.

POLIO returns!
Call to arms scheptics
19th June,
Mr Johnson,
Today is my wife Lisa’s birthday, and of course Father’s Day. A cause for double celebration in your house too.
Unfortunately we aren’t able to celebrate in the usual way, instead I laid flowers and lit a candle at the crematorium where we had Lisa’s funeral.
I’m not ashamed to admit I cried.
By now I’m sure you’ll know my Lisa’s story.
Mr Johnson this will be the last letter I write to you. my final attempt to ask you and Mr Javid to sit with me and discuss vaccine deaths, injuries and your plans to fully
support victims and families.
When you don’t respond, which I’ve no doubt about, I will know for certain you’re not interested in hearing how the vaccine, you personally encouraged us to take, has impacted the lives of real people.
Have a Happy Birthday, and a relaxing Father’s Day Mr Johnson.
Thankyou for reading
Gareth Eve.
Letter from Gareth Eve, the husband of Lisa Shaw, aged 44, who died in August last year from ‘rare complications’ of the AZ vaccine……never forget…
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/6/22/thousands-of-dutch-farmers-protest-against-emissions-targets
Thousands of farmers have gathered in the central Netherlands to protest against the Dutch government’s plans to rein in emissions of nitrogen oxide and ammonia, driving their tractors across the Netherlands and snarling traffic on major highways.
The government has been forced to act after courts in recent years began blocking permits for infrastructure and housing projects because the country was missing its emissions targets.
The ruling coalition has earmarked an extra 24.3 billion euros ($25.6bn) to finance changes that will likely make many farmers drastically reduce their number of livestock or get rid of them altogether.
clown world!!
Last week I posted this new study about the Covid 19 vaccine BNT162b2 temporarily impairing semen concentration….(before returning to ‘normal’>5 months…!)

DR Andrew Bostom who has over 45k followers and who has been very sane throughout…and who I have followed for a long time now has been suspended from Twitter for citing this peer-reviewed study, and simply asking…”….but no data on boostering effect. Does the boostering yield another decline? Followed by??”
Very good questions, and why would they get you suspended? (Rhetorical!)!!
FFS! Maybe they think it will work this time? This is ridiculous….
https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/health-board-reintroduces-mask-wearing-24284953
Face masks in hospitals have been reintroduced by a Welsh health board as Covid cases in the community and staff absences have risen. Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, which covers the Gwent area, announced in a statement on June 21 that the rule will happen with immediate effect.
All hospital staff and visitors are included and will need to wear masks in clinical areas. The statement read: “Due to the increasing prevalence of Covid-19 in the community, the increased number of Covid-19 ward outbreaks, and the numbers of staff absent with Covid-19 we are asking all hospital staff and visitors to wear masks in clinical areas with immediate effect.
https://www.conservativewoman.co.uk/oh-so-caring-britain-a-land-where-ignored-by-police-a-council-welfare-officer-rapes-children/ Oldham Council – need we say more. The only council in England with an unfailing ability to hit the headlines for ALL the wrong reasons. This rape of children by Asian, Muslim men has long been known about by local people. The standard response from Oldham Council to all local people campaigning for justice for these children was that the campaigns were intended to raise racial hatred and fan the flames as a prelude to further race riots. The ex, ex leader of the council Mr Sean Fielding repeatedly blocked any proper investigation. His standard response to all those protesting on behalf of these girls was to accuse them of being “far right racists” who were constantly spouting “bare faced lies.” OMBC thought they had scored a massive victory when ‘the enquiry’ was kicked down the road to the Andy Burnham fiefdom and his useless pocket police force – GMP. Much credit to TCW and Mark Steyn for giving this case the publicity it is owed. Much thanks also to ex police officer Maggie Oliver who has never given up on this case. It is now about time all those in Oldham Council and Greater Manchester Police, who have… Read more »
