Young People Forced to Wait Till Next Year to Book a Driving Test

Young people across large parts of the country cannot book a driving test until next year, as the full scale of the crisis engulfing the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) is laid bare. The Telegraph has more.

As of Saturday night, at least five major cities, including London and Birmingham, appeared to have no slots available until early November, the limit of the Government-imposed booking window.

The backlog, a legacy of multiple Covid lockdowns, prompted the AA to warn that school and university leavers may not be able to take up jobs in the coming months.

The organisation said the current situation meant that learning to drive was no longer a “rite of passage” for young people.

Analysis by the Telegraph of the DVSA centralised test booking website on Saturday indicated that in London, there were no test slots available for at least 24 weeks.

Students in the capital wishing to qualify would have to wait until early November and then travel to Peterborough or Ipswich, where only a handful of slots were available on Saturday night.

Similar was true of Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham and Bristol.

Aren’t they the generation most keen to cut carbon emissions? The most relaxed about government control?

I love the smell of reality catching up to dreamers in the morning. It smells like, it smells like victory ✌️

I think young people deserve a bit of a break after having the best years of their lives trashed by their selfish, bedwetting parents and grandparents. They aren’t the ones pursuing ruinous net zero policies either.

Again, hardly surprising when their teachers have been brainwashing them all through childhood. The fault again lies with the older generation who taught them.

There is some evidence to suggest the young are actually beginning to push back against such nonsense which is commendable given they have never been exposed to alternative arguments in school.

Catee

I expected them to push back ages ago, when I was a teenager that’s all we did.. Rebel against what our elders told us, this lot of young people don’t seem to have the rebellious gene we had.

It’s a bit like when the authorities try to ban languages. It makes those languages stronger, as the speakers only become more committed.

Opposition to measures imposed over the last two years were largely among the young whereas their parents and grandparents overwhelmingly backed lockdowns and school closures to “protect” themselves.

I think it’s about time older people stopped giving young people a hard time. The way this generation has treated the young is frankly disgusting and an inversion of morality.

I sometimes think the whole “save your granny” thing was devised to stir hostility between generations. Opposition, whoever from, to the whole lockdown received little MSM airing. Opposition from unknown boomers like me is mainly confined too blog posts and tweets. Nevertheless, quite a few of us – maybe “many”? – are disgusted that our children and grandchildren’s lives should be blighted for our sake. It’s a complete reversal of proper responsibilty.

Is that true? Most of my friends thought lockdown a daft idea, albeit we followed the law.

Many of the young, while at virtually no risk from covid are still marching around masked. Looks more like they actually prefer having their freedoms removed.

I sang in a concert on Saturday night at which the young soprano soloist wore a mask when not actually singing. Why, when not one other person in the choir, orchestra or audience was masked and, when she wasn’t wearing it, she was projecting air from her mouth at force over the audience?!
Many of the educated young have become addicted to virtue signalling.

I can’t imagine that the next generation of retirees will get anything near the lifestyle of the currently retired.

That’s certainly not right where I live. The most enthusiastic embracers of masks and all the rest of the rubbish have been students and young middle class parents. They love virtue signalling. The difference is more by class than age – most of the working class; certainly the male half and those who actually work, were never fooled.

EppingBlogger

Why especially the young. As we age, the number of years left to do what we have long saved for declines rapidly. Not only death but infirmity can mean only half a dozen years lefy out of which we have lost over two. The young have decades left

DodosArentDead

The problem as I see it is it’s not the fault of the young. It’s the education (mind control) they were/are subjected to at school and beyond.

Education today IMHO; in comparison to my experience some decades ago; bears no resemblance.

I was shocked to discover many years ago that the reason for all the historic year on year top grades was that the passing benchmarks had all been downgraded!

In my day a grade A O’Level was a minimum of 86%.

Allegedly as far back as 10 years ago it was down to a minimum of 46%!!

‘They’ have been ‘dumbing down’ the population for decades now….and the concious among us know the reasons why.

Enough said. Absolutely pointless, incessant, brick wall, head banging!

The goverments of this world are HIGHLY educated and sophisticated. If you and I know what’s what, do any of us really believe they don’t?

Just remember the ‘Behavioural Insights Group’.

I arrest my case. Waste of time and energy arguing the toss about any of this. We don’t need words anymore. We need action.!

There’s a company in Blackpool does driving licence “boot camp” type thing, (I was tempted to say “crash course” lol) they book blocks of tests in advance, my friend sent his kids up there, both passed within a week. I presume there’s other firms do this, sounds like a good plan if your kids need a licence.

I remember some years ago there was a chap who was a fluent German speaker doing the same thing but for German learners. They came over, did the tuition, took the test and got a UK driving licence which they were then able to convert into a full German one thanks to EU equivalence rules. Normally Germans have to do a mandatory 40 hours of theory training including 22 hours first aid before they even sit in a car.

Aw, poor snowflakes 🙂

Mind you, if you’re just out of a British state school you might not be able to count high enough to find the right platform at King’s Cross for trains to Peterborough. Crossing the busy road outside the station might be a problem too if you’re picking your mobile phone all the time.

The Republic of Ireland might be an option.

Big Insurance won’t like this. They make a fortune out of selling young people car insurance. But that’s ceteris paribus. Perhaps the government will compen$ate them.

Recent interview with Bhakdi.
Pfizer and Moderna know that the damage to the small vessels can’t easily be detected and think that they can get away with it. However, pathologists can detect the damage post mortem. German pathologists have found the spike protein in all organs, heart, brain, spleen, liver, lungs, and reproductive organs. Their pathological work has shown that 90% of people who died after vaccination had signs of autoimmune attack, with the heart as the major target.

Also provides details of other jab conspirators Astrazeneca doing the same. Theyre all in it together.

https://doctors4covidethics.org/on-the-use-of-the-pfizer-and-the-moderna-covid-19-mrna-vaccines-in-children-and-adolescents/
This up-to-date document provides a comprehensive risk-benefit analysis of the use of the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines in children and adolescents. It argues that the vaccines
– are not necessary, because the risk of severe disease or death due to COVID in children and adolescents is very low;
– have not been proven efficacious in clinical trials, and neither in recently published studies on the now predominant Omicron variant;
– have not been proven safe; to the contrary, there is ample evidence of grave harm due to vaccination.
The document also addresses the risk of genotoxicity of the mRNA vaccines, which according to recent experimental evidence of their integration into host cell genomes must be considered urgent.

Good News on the WHO treaty. In a rare show of African power and solidarity, several African member states objected to proposed International Health Regulations amendments, discussed at the World Health Assembly 75 this week – a move many believe might shake up the World Health Organization’s dominance. A well placed source shared: “The resolution on IHR amendments was not passed at the WHA, as African countries were concerned that there was inadequate consultation amongst member states, and the process was being rushed. Botswana read the statement on behalf of the 47 AFRO members and I was personally present.” According to Reuters, “if Africa continues to withhold support, it could block one of the only concrete reforms expected from the meeting, fraying hopes that members will unite on reforms to strengthen the U.N. health agency’s rules as it seeks a central role for itself in global health policy.” The IHR seeks to define and detail WHO members’ obligations around public health emergencies and other health matters. The United States government proposed 13 controversial IHR amendments, which give the WHO DG Tedros unilateral power to declare actual or potential health emergencies and expect a response in 48 hours. The draft proposal yet… Read more »

The globalists may not get their way…or their WHO treaty The global economy is on the brink of implosion. Sri Lanka has recently defaulted on its international debts. This will immediately create at least a $500 billion hole in the global economy. Alarmingly, according to the World Bank more than 70 other countries are in a similarly perilous economic condition. For most their debts are un-payable, and the IMF solution of structural adjustment (austerity) privatisations, and cuts to government services, would consign these countries to generations of deprivation and social unrest. Or, they could repudiate the debt completely and abandon the Western banking model. Both China and Russia have alternatives to SWIFT and welcome countries who want to escape the neo-liberal financial plantation. Both offer investment for development, non-interference and respect for countries’ sovereignty. All things valued by every country, but unachievable under Western domination. Decisions will very soon be made by countries throughout the Global south about who they want to align their futures with. A new proposal being put before the UN on May 22nd essentially requires all nations to surrender their sovereignty to the WHO This transparent power grab is easily recognised for what it is, in… Read more »

This is a useful and straightforward explanation of financial policies that affect us all.
Policies and practices designed to drive either individuals or Nation-States into debt have long been a preferred method for political coercion…. and control.
Neither individuals, communities, businesses nor Nation-States can be free when they are indebted (financially or otherwise) to another.
This subtle method of control of both Nation-States and their citizens has been consciously, deployed by central banks for centuries.
This is the method by which the World Economic Forum, itself a guild representing the interests of the largest corporations (and their controlling owners), seeks to transform itself into a fascist totalitarian world government.

If Flu jabs having gene transfere technology is true, then there has to be another agenda. Further speculation, we are or were about to be upgraded with the help of a familiar but somewhat more advanced race, (who if met would appear alien). The gene transfer technology currently being injected into people is an attempt to prevent any upgrade from happening. That speculation is just as likely to be true as the mRNA vaccines (courtesy of the immune system modifying brothers) actually being effecatious.

Great analysis of the death statistics since the “pandemic” in Massachusetts.
All-cause excess deaths analysis detailed in C19 “vaccine” – the cause of causes clearly shows respiratory-involved deaths dominated 2020 and circulatory-system-involved deaths dominated 2021.
The difference between years is stark. If covid killed many in 2020, then what killed many in 2021?
Covid didn’t suddenly change from a respiratory virus to a blood system virus.
In this article, cancer-involved deaths are explored.
In 2021, the great majority of people in Massachusetts were C19 “vaccinated” early and often.
Coincidentally, also in 2021, neoplasm-involved deaths increased significantly as a percentage of all-cause deaths.
Certain neoplasm-involved deaths increased more than others and most increased 4 to 6 months after C19 “vaccine” dose 2 distribution, then again after booster distribution.
