Prince William Praises TV Writers For Inserting Green Alarmist Agenda into Shows After Video Claiming the “Planet is on Fire”

Prince William has opened a BAFTA segment on climate change praising television writers for inserting green alarmist messages into their programmes and urged them to “keep them high up on the agenda of programming”. His words followed a video that claimed the “planet is on fire”. MailOnline has more.

The duke appeared as part of a special video address highlighting “Planet Placement”, in which shows feature messages about sustainability throughout their ordinary programming.

The clip detailed how the “planet is on fire”, before he shared his hope that programme-makers will do more to prioritise environmental issues.

But William also praised the “innovative” and “emotive” messages that are now being written into television shows to help raise awareness of climate change and persuade audiences to actively want to save the planet.

In the address, he said: “Now more than ever, programme makers have a unique opportunity to ensure climate change and sustainability remain at the forefront of our collective consciousness.

“By creating innovative, educational and emotive content for television, writers and producers are playing a unique role in ensuring the future of our planet is something that we all want to talk about.

“Over the past year, we’ve seen some fantastic examples of this across a wide variety of programmes and genres.

“I hope you will all continue to carry on your invaluable work, keeping environmental issues high up on the agenda of programming in the years ahead.”

I think we should take a page out of their book and start telling THEM how THEY must live their lives.

Here are a few ideas:
1. Move into a smaller home. It simply isn’t sustainable for everyone in Britain to live sprawled out in the way the royal family do. Their carbon footprint must be off the charts.
2. Fly commercial. No private jets
3. Get rid of their fleet of cars and limit themselves to 1 each, hybrid or electric.

We should start a petition to present to parliament.

“… 1 each, hybrid or electric.”

A small petrol or diesel would be far better in every respect. I would recommend a Daewoo Matiz. It’s the worst car ever made by driving standards, but I am sure His Most Excellent Very Princely William will enjoy it.

Or better still, one of these:

Apparently Anmer Hall near Sandringham (a house which is about the size of maybe 4 or 5 good sized family homes) is “handy for Christmas at Sandringham” (how nice to have a “christmas” house) but they have their eyes on something called “Adelaide Cottage” in the grounds of Windsor Castle – prob handy for every day ruling type of thing and while it is called a ‘cottage’ it isn’t exactly of the ‘thatched with about 2 rooms and an outside loo’ variety.

It is hard to stomach being lectured to on green/environmental issues by someone with quite a large carbon footprint, but I expect we are going to have to become accustomed to this.

In other news, BBC reports a survey finding that there are people who are down to one meal per day because of cost of living increases.

That institution (like so many others) was supposed to steer clear of anything “controversial”, in order to ensure general respect or tolerance and long-term survival.

The problem is that so many issues have now been declared “non-controversial” or orthodox: the planet is in great danger from climate change, sir; the Covid injections are safe, effective and necessary (even if one can still be infected); the lockdowns and masks were assuredly unpleasant for us all, sir – but a necessary sacrifice.

I see Sadiq Khan has jetted off to the USA to ahem, ‘Bang the Drum for London‘. He flew (first class no doubt) to New York and from there he will travel to San Francisco, Sillicon Valley and Los Angeles (nice work if you can get it). No doubt he’ll be lecturing us all about climate change and reducing our carbon footprint by flying less and eating less meat when he returns after his little jaunt in the States.

Hypocrites the lot of them – I loathe these climate alarmists with every fibre of my being.

Thats 40k miles in the other halfs focus or about 3 years driving. When Charlie and Leonardo et al give up their jets and helicopters i might think about swapping out the halogens for leds.

It’s still possible to buy proper incandescent bulbs even if selling them “for domestic use” (wink wink) has been banned.

I thought in theory every time the crown prince went in a plane a coolie in a far-flung part of the world was thrown a handful of rice in return for planting a tree – because let no-one think the royal family are parasitic scroungers or anything like that, or that monarchy is some kind of “cost” on the rest of us.

Maybe every time they wear a stolen diamond they should get an inmate from a young offenders’ institution to smash a bus shelter to spray some “people’s diamonds” on the pavement?

If you live near either Gatcombe Park or Highgrove you will regularly be disturbed by helicopters going in and out as the residents do their charity work around the country. Then of course the RAF is always available from Brize Norton for those longer trips in complete privacy. I really don’t know where they get the nerve to tell us how to live our lives.
I last flew (short haul) in 2019. Our recent holiday we went by train. I don’t need any lecturing thank you (even though AGW is a load of baloney.)

People always bring up Bliar, as if he would be the only option!

I was a Royalist until 5 years ago – then the Monarchy remained silent over Parliament’s attempts to nullify the Referendum result. It compounded that error by not making a peep over the removal of people’s rights during the lockdowns (here and in most of the bigger Commonwealth countries). The Queen, however, thought it ok to promote the jab and accuse people of being selfish if they didn’t take it!
Now all these woke pronouncements from Charles, William and Harry!

Time for a Republic!

This retard has to say something in his keynote addresses, something that’s apparently above the fray, to “encourage” the managers of this or that institution to keep on doing their bit for the whole and for the planet. The said managers couldn’t care less what he says, so long as he doesn’t expect them to work harder or get paid less. But because he represents the apex of the social hierarchy that they all play their sh*tty roles in, they will love him if he shakes hands with them, talks to them about any old c*ck for 20 seconds, and smiles at them. Some of them might even get gongs. What a bunch of p*llocks. If the deranged crown prince ascends to the throne, expect a number of psycho policy announcements to be issued by “His Majesty’s Government” within about five minutes flat. Some of them might even have embarrassed Emperor Bokassa of the Central African Republic. He’ll want to “apply” the feudalist-monarchist “thought” that went into the construction of his “doll’s house” estate called Poundbury, outside Dorchester, on a countrywide level. (Queen Mother Square, anyone? Or how about the Duchess of Cornwall pub? Or tiny houses, because that’s “traditional”?… Read more »

Climate agenda is a way to increase tax burdens on the plantation workers. The other hand is working away delivering injectable bio-weapons. Classic one-two punch.

They get away with it using spells using media.

In Greek mythology, Medea had the ability to control and cast magic. Examples of powers she derived from her magic are Amokinesis, the ability to control the emotions of love and desire.

Lizzy, Charlie and this con man are all in favour of eco everything because they make a shed load of cash off of the back of the green energy scam.
For example the Royals get paid over £200 million a year for the inconvenience caused to their sea bed from the disruption off shore wind farms cause them.
So the elderly die in the cold because they can’t afford expensive unreliable energy whilst this silverspoon crowd live the high life.
Absolute vermin.

There was a time when I wouldn’t have agreed with you. Not any more.

The past two years have seen to that. The Queen saying people who didn’t get jabbed were “selfish”, alongside pictures of her hobnobbing with the other participants at the G7 meeting in Cornwall, did for me. The G7 pics were especially telling, Queenie and co shoulder to shoulder, grinning and unmasked, while masked up waiters handed out the drinks. There’s our future in a photo ( and we will not be on the Queen’s team).

Harry and Meghan, what can I say? Prince Andrew; oh dear. Charlie Boy has long been a bit weird, in my eyes. The rest of them, nonentities who wouldn’t be anywhere, were it not for their being “royal”.

William and Kate seemed a nice couple with 3 charming children, but they’ve been captured by the green bollox, so I’ve no time for them. Don’t you dare lecture me about saving the planet, when you have vast estates to wander, no worries about fuel bills, and you get taken everywhere by car or helicopter! I thought that Royals didn’t speak about political issues, so stfu!

It wasn’t until a friend of mine, the last person in the world I expected to be an anti royalist, exposed me to some home truths about the mob.
