Chinese Officials Cage Up Shanghai Residents Suspected of Having Coronavirus

Shanghai authorities have put fences up outside residential buildings as China doubles down n its ‘zero-COVID’ policy, sparking fresh public outcry over a lockdown that has forced much of the city’s 25 million people indoors. Meanwhile, the authorities have ordered Beijing residents to test three times a week, sparking panic buying of food. MailOnline has more.

The largest district in Beijing… will require everyone living or working in the area to take three Covid tests this week, and put more than a dozen buildings under lockdown, after the Chinese capital reported 22 new cases on Saturday. The district, Chaoyang, is home to 3.45 million people.

The announcement set off panic buying Sunday evening, with vegetables, eggs, soy sauce and other items wiped off grocery shelves.

In Shanghai, images of workers in white hazmat suits sealing entrances of housing blocks and closing off entire streets with green fencing – roughly roughly two metres tall – went viral on social media, prompting questions and complaints from residents.

Volunteers and government workers erected metal barriers in multiple districts to block off small streets and entrances to apartment complexes.

In the city’s financial district, Pudong, the barriers – thin metal sheets or mesh fences – were put up in several neighborhoods under a local government directive, according to Caixin, a Chinese business media outlet.

Buildings where cases have been found sealed up their main entrances, with a small opening for pandemic prevention workers to pass through.

“This is so disrespectful of the rights of the people inside, using metal barriers to enclose them like domestic animals,” said one user on social media platform Weibo.

One video showed residents shouting from balconies at workers trying to set up fencing. The workers relented and took it away. Other videos showed people trying to pull fences down.

“Isn’t this a fire hazard?” asked another Weibo user.

That was precisely my take Mogwai – why are they getting so exercised to take such draconian measures for such a small number of cases, when if we had that case number here we wouldn’t be doing anything at all?

Of course BBC reports their actions like it is a “good thing” and with the implication that UK should be following suit.

To perpetuate a state of fear for those looking in. It’s psychological conditioning – the same kind used in movies, called ‘predictive programming’.

Notice that despite the abundance of evidence that the Chinese are committing acts of war against its own people, no journalists are asking the UK regime for comment. No talk of sanctions, no condemnation.

It’s because our rulers may yet adopt the same programme against us.

So what on Earth are they up to? The Chinese authorities ignored the plandemic for nearly two years and pretended covid had disappeared when, if there was any ‘virus’ at all, this would have been completely impossible. I think the theory being circulated that it’s to do with disrupting supply chains or affecting the stock market is looking more and more plausible. It’s not like it’s to do with a virus. The Chinese know full well that their virus is unstoppable and they’re undermining everybody’s intelligence by going through this elaborate and sick, twisted performance of demonstrating to the world that their actions have anything to do with beating a respiratory virus. It’s been established repeatedly, both by themselves and the rest of the world during the last 2 years that this just isn’t possible.

Herbert Spencer (who, for those who don’t already know, coined the phrase “survival of the fittest”) was popular among the ruling class in China and he very probably still is. “If they are not sufficiently complete to live, they die,” wrote Spencer, “And it is best they should die.” H G Wells took up the same call: “The men of the New Republic will not be squeamish, either, in facing or inflicting death, because they will have a fuller sense of the possibilities of life than we possess. They will have an ideal that will make killing worth the while; like Abraham, they will have the faith to kill, and they will have no superstitions about death. They will naturally regard the modest suicide of incurably melancholy, or diseased or helpless persons as a high and courageous act of duty rather than a crime.” Maybe this answers the question. Note the insane segueing from murder to “suicide”. I have no idea why you think the Chinese authorities “ignored the plandemic for nearly two years”. As well as doing many other things, they’ve kept the border more or less closed since March 2020. There are important matters of biological warfare that… Read more »

It’s probably the ‘Kent variant’ that came out Christmas before last, finally made its way to China. It was 70% more contagious than the ‘Wuhan original’ – I know, because Boris said so.

“The highly infectious variant of the novel coronavirus that is predominant in the United Kingdom may be up to 70 percent more deadly than previous strains, according to a report by the government’s scientific advisers.
The findings from the New and Emerging Respiratory Virus Threats Advisory Group (NERVTAG), published on Friday on the government’s website, underscored concerns about how mutations may change the characteristics of SARS-CoV2 – the virus that causes COVID-19 – and alter the course of the pandemic.”

Remember that? London and the south-east in ‘Tier 4’ … empty trains … Police dishing out fines … and then, well, it just ‘disappeared’. They just make it up, because they know they can get away with it.

There seems to be an implicit assumption that the first lockdown, while draconian had some justification, whereas now, given how so few people get seriously sick, this one makes absolutely no sense.

Actually, the lockdown in response to the original disease was also an insane over reaction. In my eyes there is no difference between their lockdowns this time and last time.

It’s all a horrible violation of human dignity, it is unjustifiable under any circumstances – in my view – and this is exactly what you expose yourself to if you justify lockdowns if the disease is serious enough. You accept it in principle as a measure and then you are left to debate what is serious and what isn’t. Which as we know isn’t a debate at all – it’s whatever the health authorities say it is.

The Shanghai police have “POLICE” written on their hazmat suits in English? This is what’s shown in two of the videos in the Daily Heil article, where they manhandle a guy they’ve captured.

In another video a guy in a similar suit but without markings wrestles over a broom with a sprightly resister lady whom the article describes as aged 95. I bet she’s well sussed and doesn’t much spend much of her time picking a phone or posting poop to WeChat. Maybe there’s a lesson there.

I’ve seen many explanations for this, but the simplest is that having secured the mechanisms to declare himself God Emperor for Life, Winnie the Flu now has to act like it.

That means forcing the proles and Outer Party to admit that his declaration of “Zero Coofs” is both viable and desirable. Reality doesn’t enter into it: this is purely an exercise in power, and submission. Flu Bear has to force the Empire to kow-tow to his deranged dictats, and pretend that the Emperor’s New Lockdowns are the best thing since sparrow culls.

Other, more complicated interpretations are available, but I find the default one credible enough.

Remember that it was China that practically goaded the rest of the world into lockdown. There arose the widespread sentiment that such was a cynical ploy to weaken the world economically while China itself got back to business. It was said that China wasn’t buying what it was selling. Yet, here were are, 2+ years later, China behaving as if it’s genuinely terrified of a virus.

We all know this is nothing to do with a virus. So why the theatre? There are several theories. Some thoughts on the uses of lockdowns for governments, from Mike Yeadon’s telegram page. TROJAN HORSES FOR WARS History teaches us that Trojan horses are a camouflaged military strategy. The pandemic was initiated to get people onto a never ending series of “vaccines” because the “vaccines” would be the condition to receive CBDC UBI & form the foundation of a social credit score. Fine. Most of us agree on that. But why stop there? It follows that the social credit score is required to control people through the escalation of the war in Ukraine to Taiwan and beyond. This also explains the trial run of the lockdowns in all these countries. The targeted lockdowns will be applied during the coming war as well as the social credit score is meant to control anti-war demonstrations. This explains why both NATO countries and the BRICS did lockdowns: they are all preparing for war in the same way. Lockdowns were particularly strict on Australia and New Zealand because after Taiwan those are the countries the war on China will be waged from. China is… Read more »

Very good arguments both ways and left me undecided. But I think we can hold some base level understanding:

  • The Anglo American empire is bankrupt and its financial oligarchs seek to radically remodel the economic system in order to retain power.
  • Knowing that this will be painful and likely to meet fierce resistance, totalitarian systems have been introduced everywhere in order to quell potential uprisings and spy on and track domestic populations, who have also been trained to accept limitations to their lives based on bonkers and arbitrary diktats.
  • There’s trouble at the top; the platform on which their beloved CBDCs will operate is undecided, governments around the world are hastily attempting to get a dominant seat at the new digital pseudotable.
  • Some lunatics in Switzerland and Silicon Valley have attempted a hare-brained scheme to turn everyone into zombie androids.
  • Everything’s fucked; and likely to descend into chaos.
  • Er….

It could be that in the context of a global economic meltdown, China wants to establish control mechanisms over its people to stop food riots and other types of demonstrations.

The same would apply here. We could be looking at rationing.
At the same time there would be increased international tensions and resources wars.

I suppose any country with a large population will fear that population and need to trial control mechanisms. If we all revolted at once, there is nothing our rulers could do.

A country could be controlled by a system of rolling lockdowns. People will need to be trained to understand these mechanisms and accept them.

kate

I also believe that the widespread and upsetting publicity given to the trauma caused to ordinary people by these lockdowns is part of a psyop – to show what the rulers can do, to show they are relentless in imposing such horrific measures, arbitrarily, and to show that you cannot protect yourself from them.

In that sense, publicising the Chinese lockdown in Shanghai advances the programme of the western dictators. Which is to terrify and control us, and to teach us that we are powerless.

I think there are some basic ideas and principles you can set in stone. Those in power will seek out and grab as much power as they can and are allowed to amass, regardless of whether they have a plan for it or not. States, governments and bureaucracies want control for control’s sake, and if they can get it they will. Authorities and governments live in constant fear of the people. When the people start getting rowdy, authorities fear people more and their desire to control them increases. So, for example, social media has really irked those in authority which is why they are scrambling to control the hell out of it and keep referring to it as a threat to democracy. It’s a threat to their control and authority is really what they mean. Beyond that, those in power and authority are as clueless as anyone else. The world is maddeningly complex and their ability to predict and plan for what is coming is next to nothing. The most they can hope and plan for is to have enough power and resources at their disposal to cling on to their power and authority when shit happens. That is why… Read more »

https://www.bitchute.com/video/CvSFYAM4pMP1/ https://denisrancourt.ca/categories.php?id=1&name=covid Denis Rancourt has a good interview on geopolitics and empire. Scientist Denis Rancourt returns to discuss his new paper which demonstrates that a pandemic did not occur. Whereas in some countries there was little to no excess mortality, in others like the USA, the 1 million excess deaths can be attributed directly to the government health measures and pandemic-response policies. He sees no evidence for a virulent respiratory disease. The U.S. is decoupling from China with whom it is in an economic war. As a result, there’s going to be huge inflation which will wipe out the savings of ordinary people. He sees “COVID19” as being war measures applied to completely control domestic populations in the shadow of the U.S.-China geopolitical and geoeconomic conflict that will last at least a decade and even risk hot war. A totalitarian system is being put into place to get rid of democracy, and it has the potential to last a really long time. All countries must apply these measures in the context of this global war to ensure stability against unrest among their own populations. He thinks Western elites want an e-currency that will take over the world and gobble up… Read more »

The dispossessed and redundant masses together with the non-compliant, like you and me, are the first in line to be disciplined by digitalized poverty management systems directly overseen by monopoly capital. The plan is to tokenize human behavior and place it on blockchain ledgers run by algorithms. And the spreading of global fear is the perfect ideological stick to herd us toward this outcome” Rancourt responds “I understand where he’s going with that. But you could impose an identity system, a pass that’s electronic that prevents you from spending money wherever, you could do all that simply by saying, we’re at war and these are war measures, and you’re going to do it. I have been mulling this over all day :

And I think that we are somehow going to have to form new networks if we can seek out the people who share our mindset and also see through it – easier said than done. If we don’t do that then as we get deeper and deeper into this “war” then it is going to become progressively more difficult to try to maintain our existing relationships with friends and family etc. This, of course, is precisely what TPTB want of course.

They killed about 30,000 yesterday on a farm just because it was within a 1km distance to one that did have a few positives, just as a “precaution”. Bloody senseless and cruel.

The most censored video on Chinese social media right now (with English subtitles)

From that video: “We went to the hospital and came back twice” – so, err, not locked down entirely?

Perhaps if you live in a block of flats in the UK, now is the time to move out before Boris & pals call another lockdown?!

You’ve just reminded me of that British movie ‘Contagion’.

Who is taking these photos, and how are they getting out of China with the (alleged) heavy censorship?

“One video showed residents shouting from balconies at workers trying to set up fencing. The workers relented and took it away.” – so that’s all that’s needed, eh? A bit of shouting. Problem solved.

““Isn’t this a fire hazard?” asked another Weibo user.” – are metal/plastic fences known for spontaneous combustion? I thought people locked up in their blocks of flats were dying of starvation a couple of weeks ago….. there must be millions dead in Shanghai by now. This could seriously affect the income of universities in the UK.

Seems like a 21st century way of creating apartheid ghettos. ‘You stay in there, you disgusting untermenschen. We, your betters, are the only ones allowed access to the good things in life.’

It is inevitable that the hubristic perpetrators and principal collaborators of these anti-scientific and essentially genocidal covid policies will face charges of Crimes Against Humanity. They are going to be brought to account in every jurisdiction worldwide. That includes their online trolls.

Hmm, I’m not so sure about that – Bliar, for instance, is still at large interfering in British politics and even making millions by advising foreign despots.

Absolute madness from those control freaks. Let us hope that BoJo doesn’t follow their example and prepare to resist if he does.

How does one go about “panic buying Sunday evening”? Have journalists never heard of prepositions? This idiomatic Americanised (mis-)use of the English language is, for me at least, the most irritating of common grammatical errors.

Yes, a perfect depiction of the absolute horror. Unfortunately for them, the Chinese are the ultimate compliant people especially so after the Tiananmen Square massacre. Many Chinese students have never even heard of the Tiananmen Square protests.

I was wondering why the Chinese are going insane in Shanghai … and then I saw the headline saying that Taiwan has refused to go insane. Looks to me, like China either intends to use the excuse of not locking up to invade Taiwan, or is attempting to create a massive “pro-lockup-evil” group in Taiwan who they will then get to “invite them in to save them from those who want to live normally”.

When you have over a billion people(slaves), you can afford to eliminate 25 million or more. Not one world leader or church leader, including the little people’s proponent, Francis, have uttered a word about the murder going on in China. Why?

A bit off topic but still relevant as part of the geopolitical jockeying for power that applies to all the major blocs. A US false flag to escalate the conflict against Russia. Importantly for the narrative to gain traction is the claim that Russia is losing the war in Ukraine. https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2022/04/18/the-ultimate-false-flag-russia-nukes-ukraine/ Russia is losing the war in Ukraine, Putin is becoming desperate, and, so the Western media narrative goes, the next event for the world to expect is the Kremlin launching a nuclear attack on Ukraine. It won’t be with “normal” large strategic nuclear weapons, but rather with “low-yield” or tactical nukes – so we are prepped to expect. Earlier this week, CIA director William Burns issued a pointed warning that Russia could resort to tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine. Speaking on April 14, he said the assessed risk at that time was low. But Burns qualified the assessment by adding that if Russia became desperate then its decision to use nukes might change. “Given the potential desperation of President Putin and the Russian leadership, given the setbacks that they’ve faced so far, militarily, none of us can take lightly the threat posed by a potential resort to tactical nuclear… Read more »

While China is systematically shutting itself down, further stifling global supply chains, they are hording the world’s food and farmland in preparation for future events. They will be positioned as ‘the next enemy’ and the lab leak hoax will be the catalyst used to get people on side with war against them after a prolonged period of food and energy shortages designed to dishevel and weaken out spirit. China never had a Covid outbreak. They used focussed EMF radiation to blast people in the street for the cameras, they wanted us to see it and be afraid, the rest was pure theatre and respiratory illness caused by Wuhan’s abysmally poor air quality…..and like magic! a few months later they were partying in the streets without masks or social distancing and they didn’t all get sick and drop dead afterwards. Imagine that. Meanwhile, we destroyed the legacy of our grandparents, empowered uniformed thugs to bully innocent people and give us all a bitter sample of life under open authoritarianism, stunted the development of a new generation, turned the NHS into a death service, locked old people away from their families and murdered them with sedatives, all to keep the illusion of… Read more »

That sounds reasonable, apart from the EMF ‘death rays’. Looks to me they just had some bloke lay down and pretend he was deaded and shift him about a bit, from street to shopping centre.

The question is, what is to be done about it all? On-line petitions, sending e-mails to your MP, and peaceful protests don’t seem to have done much, as the Covid Scam continues, with ‘Vaccine 5’ coming before Christmas.

Every day more and more surveillance cameras get put up, and it’s looking like any real resistance is just not going to happen; certainly nothing in the past 2 years.

“If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on your face mask – forever.”

The best we’ve had so far is discovering that some others were able to see this for the absolute con it has all been, and that not everyone is a brainwashed sheep.

Contrary to what EF posts – I would not be at all surprised if this actually was the case:

They used focussed EMF radiation to blast people in the street for the cameras, they wanted us to see it and be afraid, the rest was pure theatre and respiratory illness caused by Wuhan’s abysmally poor air quality…..and like magic! a few months later they were partying in the streets without masks or social distancing and they didn’t all get sick and drop dead afterwards. Remember the images from the protestors blasted with EMF weaponry in Australia?

Yes a wider, ‘dirtier’ version for crowd control purposes, which is what 5G was originally developed for by the Israelis.
Focussed millimetre waves can target an individual and bring on cardiac arrest, among other things.
The CIA knew about the biological effects of EMF exposure in 1977.
Those god-awful towers popping up everywhere are capable of baking a whole neighbourhood and focussing on individuals. And don’t forget about good guy Elon Musk and his satellites.

Let me get this straight: China – WHO poster child for correct way to handle contagion by brutal enforcement of isolation, lockdowns, mask wearing, sealing people in their homes, forced vaccinating… still is having massive outbreaks which despite near two weeks of extreme lockdown -people not allowed out at all – the contagion is still raging.

So lockdowns, masks, vaccination works, right?
