Triple-Jabbed Prince Charles Tests Positive For Covid For Second Time
The Prince of Wales has tested positive for COVID-19 and is now self-isolating, Clarence House has said, in spite of being triple-jabbed, religiously observing mask mandates and having had it before. MailOnline has more.
Aides said the prince was found to be positive during a routine test – which suggested he was experiencing no strong symptoms – but they declined to go into further details on his medical condition.
A message on the prince’s official Twitter page read: “This morning The Prince of Wales has tested positive for COVID-19 and is now self-isolating.
“HRH is deeply disappointed not to be able to attend today’s events in Winchester and will look to reschedule his visit as soon as possible.”
Both he and the Duchess of Cornwall have been taking regular tests before engagements and Clarence House said Camilla had a negative test on Thursday. Under current Covid rules, although she lives with Charles, Camilla is not required to self-isolate as she is also fully vaccinated.
A spokesman added: “The Duchess of Cornwall has routinely tested negative today. She is on a separate series of engagements from the Prince of Wales.”
While in the past, Covid rules would have dictated that all those who had come into contact with the prince must self-isolate, it is no longer a requirement.
It comes a day after Boris Johnson announced he plans to axe all virus restrictions in England by the end of the month which would mean even those who have tested positive for the virus will not be required to self-isolate, “provided the current encouraging trends in the data continue”.

The definition seems to mutate as quickly as coronaviruses themselves.

Maybe when people test positive now, they should claim they are on the covid spectrum. Like Charles or Drakeford who have it but aren’t too high on the spectrum.
I think the problem is that it hasn’t ‘mutated’, but has been deliberately used in a confusing way that elides a potentially rare secondary serious illness with a pretty ordinary viral infection.
Is this the last attempt at keeping people in line – a load of WEF leaders ‘suffering’ from covid – a few simpletons in the daily mail have certainly fallen this way – “I wish him well and anyone else who’s contracted this. Nothing will stop you catching a virus, it’s what your body does with it that prevents transmission, or not.
That’s an important point: Even a sterilizing vaccine wouldn’t necessarily protect someone from becoming a case of a positive test.
And of course, the inventor of the PCR test did specifically say that it wouldn’t detect infection, but only the presence of a virus.

And if your antibodies handle the virus such that you don’t develop symptoms (in layman’s language, don’t become ill), then you’re not a transmitter. Basically, asymptomatic transmission is not a thing, and has never driven pandemics. Problem is, govts lie and claim it is, and does.

However, people who test positive on a test that (supposedly) detects traces of a virus claim to have covid, and are counted in official statistics as having covid. So clearly, covid isn’t that.
Yes, a disease so serious that you can test positive and therefore claim to ‘have covid’, then you can spend the leisure time this grants you doing the decorating, sorting out the garden and watching telly.

Before the vaccines (i.e. in 2020) there were a few reports from around the world of people catching it twice. But only a dozen or so, most of which, when investigated, proved not to be sufficiently evidenced as a re-infection. It was a one-in-a-million sort of chance.
But once the vaccine came on the scene the story that you can be re-infected became commonplace, on the back of a significant proportion of vaccinated persons being infected multiple times.

I don’t believe it. All the Guardian says is “He has caught Covid twice during his recovery from the accident but recovered on both occasions.” But they give no evidence, no source, no authority.

Two possibilities.
(a) Prince Charles has covid because covid means testing positive on a covid test. And if that is the definition of covid, then the world is mad acting as if covid were a really lethal disease, because almost nobody who tests positive gets seriously sick.
or (b) Prince Charles doesn’t have covid because he doesn’t have a bad pneumonia (almost certainly) and therefore the world is mad acting as if he does when he doesn’t.
Either way, except when referring to someone who has tested positive and is very sick with pneumonia, making a big deal about someone getting covid is acting like an insane person and prolonging the global insanity we are all completely fed up of.
It’s a good way of keeping the sheep frightened… “If Prince Charles can get it, so can I!“…. “Covid exists… therefore I must get my jabs, without them if I get it I could be so much worse.”

Possibly overreacting, I think the popular culture is breeding shallowness in thinking, evidenced in part by a widespread opinion that history is passe and irrelevant. And a lot of what you have described in your post, the ‘smart’ phones, the social media, the loss of language (I have seen exam papers where students insert ‘textspeak’ in place of a word) all leads towards dumbing down and the loss of the ability for people to think for themselves and to think critically.
