“Full blown” Pandemic Phase of Covid Nearly Over in U.S., Says Anthony Fauci
President Joe Biden’s top medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci has said Americans will soon make their “own decisions” on dealing with the virus as the country is “certainly heading out of” the “full-blown pandemic phase of COVID-19”. The Financial Times has the story.
The U.S. is heading out of the “full blown” pandemic phase of COVID-19, Joe Biden’s Chief Medical Adviser said, as he predicted a combination of vaccinations, treatments and prior infection would soon make the virus more manageable.
Dr Anthony Fauci told the Financial Times he hoped there would be an end to all pandemic-related restrictions in the coming months including mandatory wearing of masks.
In his most optimistic comments about the trajectory of the pandemic since the emergence of the Omicron coronavirus variant, Fauci outlined a scenario in which local health departments would lead the response to the virus rather than the Biden administration.
Fauci said: “As we get out of the full-blown pandemic phase of COVID-19, which we are certainly heading out of, these decisions will increasingly be made on a local level rather than centrally decided or mandated. There will also be more people making their own decisions on how they want to deal with the virus.”
Asked when restrictions might end, he said he hoped it would be “soon”, and agreed with the suggestion it was likely to happen this year. But he warned local health departments could reintroduce measures temporarily if outbreaks were detected in the community.
Ever the over-cautious, Dr. Fauci still leaves open the possibility that restrictions may not end this year, or they may be set on a local level or return whenever there are “outbreaks”.
He also refused to describe the virus as ‘endemic’, saying only that it may soon reach an “equilibrium”, where the Government no longer has to pay such close attention to infection levels.
There is no way we are going to eradicate this virus, But I hope we are looking at a time when we have enough people vaccinated and enough people with protection from previous infection that the Covid restrictions will soon be a thing of the past.
Oddly, he said low-risk people may need a vaccine booster every four or five years, despite there being no evidence the vaccines remain effective even for four or five months.
It will depend on who you are. But if you are a normal, healthy 30-year-old person with no underlying conditions, you might need a booster only every four or five years.
He claimed public health officials had not been too reliant on vaccines to address the disease, pointing to the development of remdesivir as an early treatment that keeps patients out of hospital – despite it having failed to show benefit in the WHO’s Solidarity trial.
The FT article also included an opinion poll for readers with a ludicrously leading question:
Do you think Covid restrictions should be dropped by the end of the year?
Yes, I think the restrictions should be scrapped now.
No, we should be led by the science, not arbitrary dates.
What if ‘The Science’ says that masks are useless, lockdowns are useless, and it’s past time to lift restrictions? What if the science has been saying for many weeks now (at least) that the pandemic is no longer serious? What if the science says that lockdown is leading to huge harms to health, economic damage etc.? Possibilities apparently not permitted at the FT.

PM quoted in one of the UK papers today as saying to an aide that he had “got Covid done”.
What did he mean by this? Did he mean that he had helped the UK successfully navigate its way out of a dreadful illness? Or, did he mean that he had executed his orders as required by his overlords?
I’m no Boris apologist, but surely he is just referring to covid as he did to brexit, as he always said he ‘got Brexit done’. I really think it’s just a figure of speech.
You could think that.
He said he had got “brexit done” because that was his campaign slogan during the general election. “Let’s get Brexit done” was his rallying cry.
He didn’t campaign on ‘getting covid done’ – and you can bet your bottom dollar that as sitting PM at the time of that election he KNEW it was coming.
Alternatively you could think that he had “executed his orders” – like something you had to tick a check box for. It is all looking too “lockstep” (pandemic over) all across the world for it not to be.

Since the lifting of restrictions started in certain European countries and now apparently coming to England I smelled a rat. Fauci putting out similar messages means there is definitely something big and nasty on its way. Fauci hasn’t got an honest sinew in his wizened, old, small body.

And ITV news last night (I know, but you have to keep an eye on the lies churned out by the other side) featured a lady with some autoimmune condition who says the restrictions should never be lifted because of the dangers experienced by her and how hard is it for people to have to wear a mask and self-isolate?
ITV then produced the results of a poll which said UK public thought ending restrictions was too soon by big majority. GB News had at the same time produced a poll saying the very opposite with similar big majority – 81% said restrictions should be lifted ASAP and people should no longer have to self-isolate.

New stories of cardiac problems, neurological problems and strokes in people who had ‘mild’ corona or didn’t even know they had it… Increasing mention in the media of AIDS, something that in the last 20 years had been relegated to the background as it became a manageable, long-term illness…
If the vaxx is causing the number of serious AEs that can be read on ‘they say its rare’ (worth checking in on frequently) and what Malone and others are indicating in terms of damage to the immune system, they are clearly gearing up with the ready-made excuses, still blaming it on corona.

My mother-in-law had a suspected heart attack earlier in the week. Suspected, because she was on a hospital trolley in A&E for 13 hours and by then it was too late apparently for them to find markers in her bloods that would have confirmed it. She’s a very healthy 70 year old, fit and healthy, never smoked or drank. She’s been given no explanation as to what caused it other than ‘stress’ or a possible thyroid problem. My wife and I suspect that it’s you-know-what but are having to bite our tongue when speaking to other family members. The doctors at the hospital didn’t mention the vaccine at all, of course. I suspect this will be going on everywhere. I’m also trying to wrap my head around how you would treat a person if they had been vaccine injured and whether this would differ from the care she is being given (which I think will involve blood thinners of some kind, and something like beta blockers). What I don’t know is, will these treatments work just as well if it is damage caused by the vax..? What a crazy situation we all find ourselves in!
Sorry to hear about your MiL and I hope she gets over this without any longer term issues. I can imagine it might have been the vaxx. What really miffs me is that it cannot be that difficult for IT-skilled persons to come up with a program to easily find correlations between time from 1/2/3 vaxx and age and comparisons to background rate by age. (In fact, I’d bet anything they have precisely such programs running and know full well what is going on – maybe that’s why Moderna CEO Bancel’s twit account no longer exists?) Some cases probably are entirely coincidental, people of various ages do indeed get strokes and cardiac events out of nowhere. But that can’t be used as an excuse to say that is what it must be in all cases here. I think that Mainstream medicine can only offer what they would normally offer to a patient in your MIL’s situation, based on their training. They wouldn’t be aware of vaxx injury, or even worse, might not be permitted to acknowledge and treat it. I fear this is going to be a huge issue going forward.
I have seen vaxx injury in members of my own family – the problem is in getting them to acknowledge it and accept that they might need to do a “detox” protocol to help them have a chance of improving their health. If it appears that “you got this from the internet” they just dismiss it.

I have just returned from the gym where I attend a weekly Cardiac rehabilitation class funded by the local council in conjunction with the NHS. The programme operates across several local council gyms.
The class trainer told me several weeks ago that he had never had so many “clients” on his books.

It does kinda of beg the question… if we are out of the pandemic phase, using a heap of medical and non medical activities that are questionable in their effectiveness, what has changed from the first wave to know that has made the difference? Vax – not reduced transmission but has certainly reduced the severity from flu level to a cold.
Maybe its the natural process of the virus mutating to less severe and herd immunity that may have been reached sooner than if we have not locked down as severely…..

Near the beginning of the pandemic I predicted this would go away after 2-3 years. How? Because no other viral respiratory diseases epidemic in documented human history has ever lasted longer.
I also predicted TPTB would take credit for it happening (and also attribute it to the “people’s” efforts) and most would fall for that silly explanation. Sometimes the future is not difficult to foretell.
What I did not predict is that the event would be utilized to prime the world population for new upcoming and fake pandemics, perhaps manufactured in the lab as necessary. This seems to be the roadmap for the future now, unfortunately.
That is, until everyone gets bored and a new threat will be invented by our central planners. But we still have many years to go before that (remember that the pandemic only came after WW2 and after cold war and after terrorism – there always seems to be one topic which is used globally to spread fear and increase obedience).

What we have (re-) learned over this plandemic.
Viruses come (and go) in waves, and are self-limiting when they have infected so many. Lockdowns and masks are no use in these waves. Maybe the frightened hide away a bit more, but that should be all that is needed.
There is no point vaccinating(or gene-therapising) once the virus is in general circulation. Especially when all they do is manipulate existing efficient immune systems.
You CAN fool most of the people most of the time – and some seem to like it. Bribery, guilt, fear, and ostractising the free-thinking non-compliant are useful.
