Netherlands Reports Record Infections Despite 90% Vaccination Rate – And Eases Restrictions Anyway
The Dutch Government has said it will ease its COVID-19 restrictions from Wednesday despite record reported infections, which have come despite the restrictions and the country being 90% vaccinated. The BBC has the story.
Dutch hospitality settings, including bars, restaurants and museums, have been shut since December 18th in a bid to curb the spread of the Omicron variant.
But despite the restrictions, COVID-19 cases have continued to increase, with some 60,000 now recorded per day.
Prime Minister Mark Rutte told a news conference that the country was “taking a risk” in easing the restrictions.
Mr Rutte, who has faced growing calls for a relaxation of restrictions in recent weeks amid falling deaths and admissions to intensive care, added that the new rules will be effective until March 8th.
Cafes, bars and restaurants will be allowed to open until 10pm, though to gain entry patrons will be required to show a negative test result, prove they are vaccinated or have recently recovered from a coronavirus infection.
Nightclubs will remain closed, and capacity at sporting and cultural events will be limited to 1,250 people.
The reopening follows a wave of anger from many hospitality sector employees, who were left disappointed by the government’s decision to allow shops, gyms, hairdressers and sex workers to resume business on January 15th while their sector was kept in lockdown.
Cafes in several cities opened in defiance of the restrictions the weekend before last, and dozens of museums and theatres opened as beauty salons for a day in protest.
Public support for the strict measures has also waned steadily over the past month and large demonstrations against the rules have become more frequent in the capital, Amsterdam.
Mr Rutte alluded to this anger during his news conference, telling reporters that the government was “consciously looking for the limits of what is possible, because of the great tensions and cries for help in recent days”.
Meanwhile, Health Minister Ernst Kuipers warned that the virus is “not the flu”, but said that relaxing the curbs was important.
“Living for longer with restrictive measures harms our health and our society,” he said.
It’s almost as though lockdowns and vaccines don’t prevent the spread of coronavirus.

There’s an interesting interpretation about lockdowns, that they are a kind of economic valve, used to restrict the flow of capital in a scenario where there’s a danger of runaway hyperinflation. At face value this story tends to support that; if an economic crisis is happening behind the ’pandemic’ then at various points the ‘coronavirus measures’ will appear to be unrelated to the bogus metrics that have been introduced over the last two years to help justify them. Hmmm 🧐
That article by Fabio Vighi is really excellent; it explains so much of what otherwise seems totally irrational. I agree, this latest step by the NL, as so many other measures/moves, in France too apparently despite rising numbers of “cases”, does look as if it might be related to/acting as valve for the financial flow/system.
John Titus explained exactly how the Banksters did this on his youtube channel, “Best Evidence” you can bingewatch the whole channel in 13 hrs, tho 2 or 3 of the latest videos are enough to see the whole picture.
Lockdown was always about controlling the velocity of money, to hold off a global hyperinflationary event.
“Going Direct” is pouring newly printed money into the public economy, removing the barrier between wholesale money markets and the real public economy. Without “Lockdowns” to slow the speed money moves in the real public economy, it would be impossible to prevent a hyperinflationary event.
Interesting thanks I will check it out. So the loosening of restrictions in the US and parts of Europe must mean that the ‘pandemic’ has served its purpose. Because to my mind it must be a one shot deal – you can’t perpetually maintain a state of pandemic, it’s completely implausible. Maybe the emergence of ‘Omicron’ is intended to end the period of financial contraction and next time they’ll need a different excuse to turn off the economy.
There was hardly any “hyperinflationary trend” before pandemic except in asset prices. And that only got accelerated by the mad money printing bonanza under pretense of coronavirus rescue. So no, lockdowns are not slowing anything, killing demand can be done quickly, but it also leads to shutting down supply, and when the demand reappears (equally quickly), the lack of supply combined with huge increase of money will of course create excessive inflation. An inflation which cannot be effectively stopped through interest rate increases because that will lead to a sudden collapse of overleveraged markets and further disruptions.
So the inflation will essentially run through the entire system, to offset all the unnecessary money that was pumped in without producing any value, until the prevailing prices reflect real value again. And that’s not so bad, it only means that many people got fooled into thinking that they were “richer” during the pandemic, and possibly made terrible decisions (like quitting jobs) on that basis.
The real destroyers of value and life were of course those who introduced the measures. The banks only helped in a temporary coverup. And that which has been amateurishly covered up is now being uncovered by the inflation.
Johnson was told to spaff money up the wall to bring on the crisis!
He must have “known” about the National fund left “to the nation” which stands at circa GBP600mn. Now the court case has found that it goes to the Treasury, effectively Sunak’s borrowing is covered and then some….
anyone who can spend inflated money before the rest of us realise the lack of value gets a freebee…
True, but you can only spend so much in advance (e.g. you can’t have two vacations at once or eat twice as much). And additional assets that you buy tend to depreciate, too (buying two cars that you don’t drive is not necessarily a great investment).
So most of this useless money ends up “parked” in assets like stocks, real estate, or gambling (e.g. cryptocurrencies). The rich are basically just sitting on it, doing nothing much (at least no different than usual).
But some of it trickles down to “masses”, those who will indeed work less and engage in reckless spending and self-harming activities whenever given an opportunity to do so. And that’s where the real problem (of overconsumption and future debt) get created for society.
Unreciprocated work (rent-seeking) is always a problem in my book
If you allow someone else to use your capital (means of production), should it be done for free then? If so, why is it you who has to lend for free and not the person who borrows from you? And who’s gonna pay if your capital is destroyed (let’s say through an accident or because machine parts wear off)?
Wrong. Blackrock is even buying up domestic housing in the UK, it’s the reason the housing market is still in a bubble. Gates et al are buying up land everywhere, these are the hard assets they’re convertnig the helicopter money into, the hard assets they’ll own when the system crashes.
“You will own nothing and be happy”
Good post, but “that’s not so bad” doesn’t apply to the retired with cash savings, ie, the poor and old.
The retired should not be holding cash savings, but assets – like every intelligent person on the planet. It’s also thankfully no longer difficult to obtain (fractional) assets even if you’re poor. And pensions are usually indexed to match or surpass inflation (if only because the retired are such an important voter group).
Except for third world countries – and yes, it’s a great injustice that the people there are practically barred from access to regulated capital markets and thus unable to save, but somehow nobody is talking about it, preferring to send charity to their corrupt “leaders” instead.
“The retired should not be holding cash savings, but assets – like every intelligent person on the planet. It’s also thankfully no longer difficult to obtain (fractional) assets even if you’re poor. And pensions are usually indexed to match or surpass inflation (if only because the retired are such an important voter group)” If everyone held “assets” as you say, you then create a market into which herd instinct mentaity can be sunk….and that can turn nasty as we all know. The retired require access to assets more so than other groups unless they are fortunate to be adequately superannuated (cf “salary”, both regular “income”) hence why they hold “cash” perhaps more so than “assets’ – access to a known monetary amount versus access to an unknown monetary account – inflation acting as eroder and “growth”; “Pensions” are NOT all indexed: as far as the public sector is concerned, correct, that is one of the biggest wealth transfer mechanisms on the planet – and on the same scale as the vast transfer of value that QE enacted from the private individual to the “corporate” sector and those able to acquire assets – which have grown clearly – with low interest… Read more »
You forget that china the biggest economic supplier and basic material supplier went into lockdown earlier than West. So they limited the supply = inflation. The west had no other choice but join this economic war by limiting the demand.
That’s a very good point, but from my perspective both China and the West are ruled by the same globally entangled financial elites (with access to politics and military on both sides). The “conflict” between those countries is somewhat artificial and aimed at the working population at large, so as to maintain “stability” and the elites’ hold on power. If at a certain point it serves the interest of the ruling elites most, the populations are agitated against each other – only for “peace” to be made later by the same agitators.
You’re missing a HUGE part of the picture, they’ve been printing on a ridiculous scale since 2008 (quantatative easing), but it didn’t cause inflation (much to the amazement of just about all the casandas/gold bugs proclaiming imminent hyperinflation), because there was no link between wholsale and public money markets, Blackrock changed all that with “going direct”. John Titus explains how they did it, and shows the consiquences from fed graphs.
Part of the “money printing” is about increasing gov debt, so the banksters can control the governments, note also the countries that didn’t give big pharma indemnity against legal responsibility didn’t qualify for world bank/IMF loans. This is the same reason “All Wars are Bankers Wars”.
^^^^^^^^^
I’d say it was taxpayers propping up the non-performing loans of the establishment.
All the loans net off, as long as everyone can pay!
But when they CANNOT net becomes gross and if the rate of interest is too low credit-as-money self-destructs!

The shipping shutdown was deliberately created and manipulated, I think the financial system is going to face a similar shutdown. But I do not think the goal is countering inflation – quite the reverse. The aim is to eradicate currency altogether.
Bollocks, the coronavirus measures (money printing and malinvestment all while destroying production capacities) are exactly what is causing the inflation.
Exactly! All part if the plan to deconstruct the west abuse, debilitate and ruin its people.
Yes, but that may itself have been the plan.
Let’s face it, they have been desperate since 2008 to inflate the euro to infinity and beyond. The Euromark is dead, long live the Eurolira (or Europeseta). Can’t bring the southern European countries up to northern European levels, so now it’s time to try and bring everyone else downward. Also signalled by new Fin. Min. Kaag of D66, EU whore party supreme, who said NL will no longer automatically be part of the ‘frugal four’.
It is part of a fallacy known as “modern monetary theory” which basically states that it’s the government which drives all spending, and, as a conclusion, that the government can increase productivity and do “great works” by decree by simply flooding the economy with money and demanding that people work for them (if need be, with guns put to their head). Which is essentially the (non-working) model of the modern “welfare state”.
Yes it’s a very odd idea it’s like saying the cart pushes the horse along.
The thing which makes this scam so successful is that it actually works up to a point… until it doesn’t.
It might well be bollocks – I’m not an expert as you can tell 😉 but I’ve heard it said often enough by people who are to give it credence. Interpreting the last two years as an emergency economic measure makes more sense to me than an evil plan to [insert dystopian outcome] all of humanity!
If the root cause ids an emergency economic measure, the totalitarian/technocratic aspects of it (see thread on Holocaust comparisons) could be an emergent property of the crisis, based on classic human behaviours.
There was no emergency, not an economic one either. It is a long-haul plan to entrench the power of the establishment, and to suppress to possibility of revolutions occurring. You don’t need any complicated thinking to figure out that the biggest fear of those who are already in power and have amassed disproportionate amount of wealth is losing it to a mob. So every opportunity will be used to make the mob less of a potential danger. But radical changes are difficult to push through without a fake emergency, that’s why they needed a pandemic (and even more radical changes of the same sort will become possible if there is a global war).
That makes sense. Let’s hope they don’t feel the need to use war -the standard fallback option.
It makes sense because it is all true and fully documented and explained in detail by Ian Davis in his excellent , if chilling, book| the “Pseudo pandemic ” for all to read.
Try reading Schwab’s own blue-print for just that ‘evil plan’ and think again.
“The Fourth Industrial Revolution” by Klaus Schwab\
“The Great Reset ” by Klaus Schwab.
Have you heard of his WEF ‘Young Leaders’ grooming school? Look that up too!
Yes I’m completely aware of all of this – but rather than look for a single cause of what’s happened I’m choosing to see it as the product of a combination of many agendas and bad incentives. The technocrats clearly have their own insidious agenda – transhumanism, 4IR etc. But these things could have been introduced gradually and quietly. The question for me remains why now? And why take such an enormous risk of exposure (bearing in mind that the WEF has been able to hide in the shadows for decades gradually infiltrating politics and commerce? It seems like an extraordinary gamble, taken by people who were already doing extraordinarily well in the old paradigm. I’m thinking there needed to be an element of need/crisis and all big events in history are usually economic when you peel away the ideological window dressing.
^^^^^^ this
Why now ?
Opportunism
Schwab said that he Covid crisis provided a ‘window of opportunity ‘for implementation of the ‘Great Reset’.
US Democrats and Left extremists wanted a way to destabilise Trump before the Election steal and impose CCP style Social Credit Schemes ( and get rid of Trump voters of course!)
Fauci had projected the need for a viral ‘pandemic’ as the trigger o further roll out of mass vaccinations postulated by him and Gates since 2000 – previously without success.
Big Pharma wanted the opportunity to experiment on the world population with their mRNA Gene Therapies previously denied them for safety concerns.
The Banks and Billionaires have been trying ti find a way ti introduce digital currency and abolish busted fiat currencies since they messed up the response to the 2008 crash with endless money printing.
Extremist Environmentalists who have captures Global Institutions like the UN wanted an excuse to impose draconian travel bans slow down Western economies and world trade and change our daily living habits . Agenda 2030!
All their ‘ planets’ were aligned – so they went for it!
Why now?
why didn’t it cause inflation in 2008 with all the helicopter money? Because the wholsale markets and public money were seperate entities, now they’re not, that’s what you are missing, see John Titus for easiest explination.

They serve to destroy small businesses to the advantage of Big Corporations – part of the ‘Great Reset’ plan from the start. They also destroy socialisation to force the individual into neurotic isolation- easy to manipulate Chinese style! ( See Winston Smith and his Telescreen) Destruction of communal activity, like restaurant eating, also serve the purpose of changing social habits into isolationist activity and prevents people from sharing experience and perceptions – already the pizza delivery culture has destroyed many good restaurants. Having deliveries of provisions, meat and vegetables also takes away the power of individual choice and selection in a shop or market and the trusted relationship with a shopkeeper – you get what you are given – like feeding time at the zoo. In France and Italy the people’s daily pattern of life will be wiped out if his Facsist insanity continues – but then that is the whole puropose of it – isn’t it? People who constantly and annoying ask “Why are they doing this?” are simply too lazy or even frightened to read up on the “plan” which has been there in black and white in Schwab’s boastful books and posted on the internet since day… Read more »
^^^^^^ even if the series of events we see/experience are a mish-mash/soup/composite of several agendas/plans being worked out/pursued by different interested parties, and hence sometimes ( are or seem ) somewhat incoherent/contradictory it doesn’t mean that there are no plans/”conspiracies”/agendas. There are very powerful people with very detailed plans for how they want the world to be.
Agreed !
It starts off ok, but it’s written by an economic flat-earther so it gets nowhere in the end.
The first paragraph is interesting for the idea (covid is an excuse and lockdown related bailout the goal), but the content is flawed at best!
Am orchestrated calm before the storm.
My view also. Too much bloody “Lockstep.” NL have record case numbers but are easing restrictions.
Something else going on. My bet is still on March.
What is happening in March?
Springtime for Sigma.
There’s always going to be a new scariant. They’re too deep in this to back out now.
I think you’re right here. It will be said that people will never fall for it all again – but we’ve already seen they will, with the introduction of ‘Omicron’.
I think the ‘Vaccine Passports’ are here to stay. Some will say “I didn’t want to go abroad anyway.” Well, bully for you. When a system of control (the ‘vaxx passes’ for travel) has been built up, what possible reason is there to get rid of it, if you want to control the people?
I honestly believe the only reason NL locked down was because the cabinet was desperate to get 2g through parliament. The vote was supposed to be beginning December, was delayed thanks to Omick-take until mid-January. Early January it was made public that then Health Min. De Jonge had withheld from parliament a recommendation from the Judiciary Advisory Body against introducing 2g, only providing it just before parliament broke up for Christmas. When ‘cases’ kept increasing and last week a report commissioned by the government made it clear 2g would make no difference, they abandoned the vote – for now.
Even after these shenanigans, even after their own report said it’s pointless, new Health Min. Kuipers is still trying to push it. No coincidence that Kuipers is a member of D66, the political party that worships Brussels.
Kuipers has already spoken of how we need 2g for the future – after we were told it would only be temporary. He wants it brought in even after this current wave dies down, why?
My theory is that it is ramping up defenses against a future bioweapon attack executed by a foreign power or terrorists. I also predict that this explanation will soon become official. So far it is being justified by a much less convincing argument of “potential future mutations” – but this argument will become much more powerful when they eventually explain where these deadly mutations are going to come from (namely genetic engineering perpetrated by “adversaries”, and now possible thanks to technological advancement).
P.S. The warmongering with Putin is possibly going to serve to further validate this argument.
Come to think of it, with the Deadly Delta and Omnipresent Omicron, they already have an exact blueprint of how to produce, through genetic engineering, the next, much scarier pandemic.
You can think of all the research that went into it as a global experiment at a grand scale which demonstrated to the military which bioweapons are most effective and for what reason.
So now, in contrast to 2019, we have bad guys capable of producing a very effective and well-researched bioweapon… which can be somewhat defended against only by mass vaccination – because we can clearly see that all the other measures brought absolutely nothing except for chaos.
It is hard to argue then against authorities trying to establish systems for quick mass vaccination – it’s an arms race. I just wonder why they are not selling it to the public that way (yet). Maybe to prevent further civil unrest and an economic depression?…
And scales fall from the indoctrinated multitudes eye’s?….Waiting…Still waiting.
Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one. Charles Mackay, L.L.D.
I’m not holding my breath. One outcome of this whole circus over the last two years has been my awareness of how little people think about anything. Tens of millions of people in the UK alone were injected with an experimental drug still in its initial trials because some guy on TV told them to do it.
Well, we have had state education for over one generation. What do you expect?
I can’t blame state education. I know plenty who went to mediocre schools and can still think for themselves.
The easy virtues of 24/7 entertainment would be a better culprit. More accurately, a lack of inquisitiveness, mental sloth, call it what you will. Character traits in other words.
I believe it was one of the btl commentators who recently stated they’d been watching re-runs of Bullseye and there was a stark contrast between the level of general knowledge displayed then compared to contestants on today’s quiz shows.
Anyone see the recent Tipping Point episode which had the question: According to Homer, what is the food of the gods? Contestant 1: ‘Donuts’ ?
The compere asked Contestant 2 what she thought: ‘I’d have said donuts, too.’
40 years ago there were just 3 TV channels and they shut down around midnight. No social media, either, and no National Curriculum!
As a society, we’ve succumbed to the ‘delights’ of bread and circuses.
I believe the correct term is ‘donuts and circuses’ 😉

Brilliant!
Due to the fact that he thought question was referring to Homer Simpson!
Jesus, that never occurred to me. How low we have sunk 🧐
I know.
That is an interesting observation. The masses now have their own ambrosia to sustain them, all of it low effort, immersive entertainment. It is bound to have some effect. It is certainly difficult to imagine our grandparents putting up with lockdowns and masks.
They put up with the lies surrounding the First World War and our great generals and over by Christmas.

Indeed not!
Mobile phones, Twitter, Face Book, Tick Tock, 24/7 Netflix?
Yes, although it is perhaps the associated notifications that do the real damage. The dopamine hits from the pings.
Those from corrupt countries who live here were more likely to see through the Government lies at once, in my experience.
Some are just too far gone- we are talking now about serious mass mental disorder.
‘Freedom from Masks’ day today – so very generously awarded to the people of the UK. But are they still wearing them…?
I have been told that anyone not wearing a face mask, if they have a cough or cold, is an ‘irresponsible citizen’.
I don’t like the word ‘citizen’ . it smacks of Germany/Austria/dystopian future.
neither does Othering the unvaccinated but the monster doesn’t say anything about that.

When trying to rationalise the irrational you soon find yourself feeding into it to some extent. Whatever your views on why so much of this madness has come about, most of us that access this site should be able to agree that its all bonkers. That’s why we now have politicians etc talking about what amounts to the common cold as if it’s serious disease – surreal ………
Indeed. It is difficult not to be pulled into the rabbit hole.
Far easier to focus on the basic concepts that underly the whole circus. Should a government have the right to suspend ancient liberties? The answer is no. That’s all this is.
The second issue is intervention. Government intervention rarely improves anything. If there is any message to come out of this, it is the long understood phenomenon of unintended consequences. People like Johnson, Gove and Dominic Cummings aren’t very good at anything. That’s why the traditional approach of non-interference works better.
Looks like we are heading for totalitarian slavery …not ‘non- interference”!
“Old Normal” Politics is dead – Johnson is following an agenda provided by ‘significant others’.
All our Institutions have been deliberately busted by te Wokism offensive which started with PC twenty years ago..
I share your concern, but I’m not sure the prospect is quite so bleak. We are perhaps seeing the UK departing from the agenda, one of the dangers of the Dr Evils having to work via the political class.
The erosion of the great pillars of society is a concern though. The unquestioning acceptance of diversity training and other wokery. But we can always rely on them to overplay their hand. My favourite from recent times is a complaint from a student group that the term “trigger warning” is itself triggering because of its association with firearms 😎

I’m hoping they are true positives. Great news for the Netherlands and Israel, full natural immunity – unless OAS, of course.
They have achieved their objective, which i have only begun to realise. Within less than two years governments of all stripes have reduced the bulk of their populations to snivelling rule takers and all with hardly any legislation or even threats of meaningful retribution. Willing to obey any instructions no matter how ludicrous, counter productive or unpleasant so long as it is in the name of Safety or, worse, personal convenience or gratification. Formerly citizens, especially in The West, could be counted upon to object or protest againdt almost any new requirements from the smoking ban to climate change regulations if only to be bloody minded. But perhaps no more or to a much less extent. At first it seemed that bozo was taking the UK in the lead toward Post Lockdown Freedom thanks to his oh so successful vaccine programmes but in reality it was because our populations are in the lead for spineless acquiesce to whatever the government next sees fit to demand. My thoughts still a bit disjointed on this so far but many DS readers have been saying for months ‘it’s not about a health/virus/vaccine’ but in that case what was it all about? (Past tense… Read more »
The more important outcome is western governments now have a better sense of where their weak points are. Who will resist, how many will obey?
In most western countries there seems to be a solid 30% who will not succumb. That is useful data and will no doubt be exploited with the next crisis (presumably transphobic climategeddon).
🧐
It’s worse than that. There is probably only 2-5% that will inquisitively spot the truth for themselves and resist. They have led the larger minority who were open minded but not inquisitive, into eventual resistance. Without that 2% they would have full religious compliance.
Agreed. We’re merely being let off the lead to run around a field for a few minutes. Well, in England, anyway. The Celtic Fringe mayors aren’t even trusting us with that big a taste of what we’ve been missing.
I have always thought, since March 2020, that ‘Covid’ is a scam – it is about control, and making money.
Those running the scam will continue to do so unless they are removed from their position – unfortunately there is no-one willing to remove them. So the scam will continue.
Fact is, computers are running society now. Soon there will be very little ‘freedom’ left at all.
It’s not about making money directly, it’s about keeping the stealthy looting going in the face of it failing recently
Prime Minister Mark Rutte told a news conference that the country was “taking a risk” in easing the restrictions.
The country is not taking a rise. Prime Minister Mark Rutte is taking a (political) risk.
Rutte had no choice – he knew someone was going to be pulling back the curtain and seeing a little bully pulling strings on the verge of snapping and nothing more. Shops, gyms, restaurants all said they were opening regardless, a lot of mayors (they are in charge of policing and enforcing the measures) said they would not step in. At that point it would have become clear that NL runs on compliance only, not only is their no stomach for a police state, there is no police/army for a police state. So he had to back down and say okay, we’ll open up, still showing some semblance of being in charge. What pisses me off is that he gets away time and again spouting crap. A few weeks back, still trying to push his 2g apartheid app, he was going on how they were using it in Italy and France, they knew what they were doing, look how well they were doing. When trying to defend being the only country with shops and hospitality shut down, he said “look at France, the numbers are going through the roof”. Not one person said “hey-up, a few weeks back you were… Read more »

Why doesn’t someone shut this fool down? A clear case of dangerous misinformation! Where is our vanguard of truth and protection?
Seriously though folks:
“Living for longer with restrictive measures harms our health and our society,”
So, so clever with their words. Bless ’em. Tries to imply that up until that point, there was no/little harm. The fact (which they know) is truly that living with restrictive measures harms our health and our society. End of.
As someone said on GB News, those running this show are getting bored with covid, lets ramp up a war somewhere
I doubt boredom is the drive behind this. Control is the goal. Initiatives that increase control are in, anything that diminishes control is out.
They moved too slowly. That’s the lesson. They’ll be scheming in the background as we speak, calculating how to do better next time. For example, their approach to passports was cumbersome. Next time they’ll be put in place immediately for one group, like healthcare workers, then gradually rolled out to everyone else.
This is a tactical retreat to consolidate their gains, nothing more.
No – the “war with Russia” garbage is just he usual foreign diversion to cover their next move on their ‘home front ‘- they are already at “war” with the British people.
Is there more money in war?
Lots of money in war, for some
The more they freely make the comparison themselves, the more suspicious it looks. Of course this thing is the flu.
Just yesterday I was catching up with some friends and sadly it took no time at all before they were talking between themselves about so-called “covid-cold“.
Apparently he had a sore back and the snivells. It was a typical cold, but he had tested positive with the dodgy kit…
Why were they tested at all? The tests keep the covid alive. How many times does it have to be said?
Worry about the vaccines, not the virus.
The only restriction they need is to restrict testing
Restrictions might have been “eased” but The Netherlands is very far from removing restrictions. They have moved to implementing the so-called 3G covid passports – this despite one of the leading universities in the Netherlands clearly stating that such passports made no difference. Masking is still obligatory virtually everywhere; exemptions are almost impossible as such an exemption has to be “made believable” to any CSO or vague authority figure who is querying that. The government is still stating that you must not receive more than 4 people outside your own family in your house per day. The rationale behind everything closing down at 22:00 rather than, say, 24:00 could not be explained. The main reason for the “easing” is because too many shops and restaurants in particularly the border areas saw all their trade move to Belgium and Germany; local mayors had announced they would no longer maintain the closure of shops and restaurants. So on the one hand it’s good to see that some “people power” has led to removal of some restrictions; on the other hand it is sad and infuriating that restrictions are still seen as the way forward.
The bastards are still holding out to get their fascist 2g apartheid app laid down in law, that is all any of this latest set of nonsense rules was ever about.
What is sad and infuriating is to see a supine parliament let the cabinet get away with it. They made it part of the corona legislation that parliament has the last say, parliament can stop any of these measures whenever it wants. PvdA and GL, still hoping to get in with the cabinet says they will uphold legislation that would hurt their own voters. The CDA and CU, both members of the cabinet, are not on board with 2g, they could put a stop to all this in a heartbeat, but don’t have the balls because that would bring the cabinet down and we’d hear all the bleating about how that would new elections, etc. BS, they should bring the cabinet down and put a stop to all of this. The CU in particular needs to grow a pair and do what they know is right.
Agree! There are only very few parliamentarians who query the entire narrative, and they are consistently derided in the press. It’s depressing to see the ongoing groupthink.
There was a “debate” about mandatory vaccination in the German parliament yesterday. Actually, it was no debate at all, just individual morons reading their statements from notes in sequence, completely independently of each other’s statements.
The majority of MPs started their proclamation with a statement like “vaccines are great”, similarly to how “Allah is great” is used in islamic countries…
Virtually all pro-mandate arguments were using “facts” that are demonstrably false (such as vaccines providing protection to third parties).
The ‘German Parliament’ appears to be ‘over’ – even without a second Reichstag fire!
JAbber Ackbar!
Not just in the press. Every now and again I catch one of the briefings with Van Dissel, when MPs can ask questions. When the FvD member asks a question he gets a very cursory answer and Van Dissel moves on as quickly as possible. He was the one who asked Van Dissel about negative VE when Van Dissel was showing the figures from UKHSA technical bulletin 31 – anyone with eyes could see the negative number and Van Dissel denied it outright, twice!
All the politicians appear to have been give some kind of “treatment” or have they just been promised a place in psycho Schwab’s ‘New World Order’?
Here in NL at least, a lot of them are either out on the make, politics is merely a career step.
For others, they are political dilittantes who like the idea of getting involved, have lovely ideals and zero political nous. The likes of Rutte runs circles around them. And then there is the fact the cabinet sits in parliament and literally instructs MPs in their own parties how to vote – even though the constitution clearly states that MPs are to vote without instruction or consultation.
The few that stand up and speak out get vilified as not playing the game of ‘polder’ politics (consensus politics). Fortunately there are more and more of them.
The MPs are the cause of the current tyranny. – they have voted for it at least three times.
“It’s almost as though lockdowns and vaccines don’t prevent the spread of coronavirus.”
More to the point, it’s amost as though the dodgy testing and resultant “cases” isn’t, and never has been, worth a hill of beans. It’s the fraud on which the whole nightmare is built.
Why isn’t this obvious to those who should be calling it out?
Because they are on-side with the scamdemic and the creeping ( illegal) ‘vaccination mandates’ .
The problem is that the “Evil” is just too big for most people to accept or believe.
Why has the MHRA totally failed in its public ‘duty of care’ to oversee the vaccine roll-out and investigate serious concerns over 2,000 vaccine deaths and 1,400,000 adverse reactions – figures never before seen in a vaccine experiment and probably only 10% of the total -plus reports of ‘bad batches’?
It has carried out none of its essential duties to protect the public and has ignored requests from Medics and scientists to investigate – but then isn’t it most likely it has been ordered to ‘lay off’ by the Government in pursuit if its dark Globalist Agenda?
The MHRA is compromised – it has so many links to big Pharma. How on earth did successive governments allow that to happen?
It seems they actually encouraged it!
Gates, the Billionaire most involved in compromising the objectivity of Global regulatory bodies, is welcome in Downing Street any day of the week.
I agree.
“consciously looking for the limits of what is possible, because of the great tensions and cries for help in recent days” = “please don’t hang us”

EXCLUSIVE: Long COVID expert says the world is in ‘deep trouble’ and millions may suffer from debilitating physical and cognitive issues for YEARS after being infected
Hahaha ah hahaha, is it April 1st?
All predicted by ‘cancelled’ Mike Yeadon over a year ago.
It shows they are really getting desperate by digging up that long debunked “long covid” again.
The problem is that the stupid and brainwashed are just waiting to swallow it all again with the BBC helping to wash it down!
Oh, I think people will be showing some serious, real long-term issues all right – it will be called long Covid, but in reality it will be long Vaxx.
I agree. Any adverse effects from the vax will be badged as “long covid”.
The concept of ‘Long Covid’ was brought in for purposes of deniability – those long-term debilitating conditions have nothing to do with the side effects of the ‘vaccines’! Honest!
Is that how they are going to hide a lot of vaccine injury, by calling it ‘long covid’?
Yes indeed that must be exactly what this is all about – I was wondering how they would go about disguising and concealing the massive damage coming down the line from the vax injuries – obviously this is it – vax damage and immune system destruction = “Long Covid” .
Unfortunately this will not cover the rising number of healthy young people dropping dead or seriously impacted within hours of being jabbed. Their standard explanation of pure “coincidence” has worn a little thin.
I see the Corporates and the NHS are also now telling us that young, healthy women die of heart attacks and collapse on the the sports field and that this is now ‘normal” in yet more disgraceful, TV adverting propaganda – get used to it!
The BBC is currently trying to smear and discredit those who have initiated the Police investigation into the failure of regulatory bodies to show any interest in very serious malpractice in the vaccine roll-out and the very high levels of vaccine reactions and deaths after the jab.
The BBC refuse to even acknowledge the existence of thousands of incidences of serious vaccine injuries or accept how serious they are ( 2,000 “acknowledged” deaths many more suspected ) – never mind investigate them as would have been the case 20 years ago
The BBC is now effectively an “enemy” of the British people feeding misinformation to support an agenda, canceling alternative opinion and it has become just a tool of Government vaccine propaganda.
It should be ignored by anyone pursuing the truth about this ‘pandemic’.
Perhaps the Dutch are waking up – but I doubt it .
In the long term this will be the downfall of the BBC.
In terms of objectivity and earning the respect of the nation it has already self destructed. I now refuse to watch any News programme for fear of mind pollution.
The BBC now seems to be the enemy of the British people and all things British -it follows an agenda written elsewhere.
Now?!?
It’s been institutionally oikophobic for DECADES!
Indeed but this has tipped it over the edge ..one imagines an
” Our Time has come !” – event as they stripped off the suits and frocks to reveal the concealed Maoist Uniforms beneath..
When is Paul Mason to be appointed ‘Chief Commissar for Political Re-education and Gender Divesity ” to keep them all in order I wonder?
From mid 2020, I don’t watch any BBC News programme, nor listen to any if their radio output. Until then, I was an avid viewer/listener, but not now. I don’t think they will ever get it back.
I really hope so! Smug, patronising, lying buggers.
The treatment compared to Boris having a meeting says it all about Al jabeebya
”Prime Minister Mark Rutte told a news conference that the country was “taking a risk” in easing the restrictions.”
and
”Health Minister Ernst Kuipers warned that the virus is “not the flu”, but said that relaxing the curbs was important.”
No, the common cold is less of a risk than the flu.

I have had an epiphany.
We CAN destroy covid. Wipe it clean off the face of the earth. But we’ve been going about it the wrong way. Dirty vaccines, lockdowns, masks – bunch of bollocks. All those ideas were way off the track.
The answer is… SONIC WEAPONRY!!!

This item talks about infections but I feel you have to ask; are we really talking about infections? You can find various definitions of infections and I would say that many of the so called infections hardly meet the definitions, if at all? The medical texts clearly state that microorganisms found in or on human bodies but which are not causing a problem do not constitute an infection. It is as if the covid virus, such as it is now? is now simply roaming about the human body, jumping between people and doing ‘sweet fanny adams’ as far as disease is concerned, can these really be considered infections? Is this now not simply some sort of virus thingy to add to all the other microorganisms we carry about with us and which is generally of no significance and should not be considered an infection. All this testing is as useful and relevant as walking up an down the beach looking for grains of sand and then being surprised when you find any. Many people still seem to tremble at the word covid but we need to get used to the fact it is everywhere and will be with us for… Read more »
Surely the cloggies will stick the TV on and see 70k plus at Old Trafford and thus assess the 1250 capacity restrictions as a complete psy-op. It is scientism not science.
Friends and relatives in Italy worry about us as they’ve heard England is a hotbed of covid, just like people here were all convinced that Sweden had bodies piled up in the streets in 2020. But yes, surely some will start to cotton on.
My own brother is now refusing to speak to me because I was ‘disprectful’ at his late wife’s funeral because I didn’t wear a mask, although I did wear my exemption lanyard.
I have since pointed out that he only wore a mask because the law required him to do so, and if the law did not require it he would not have worn one, so clearly nothing to do with ‘respect’ but more about obeying the law, which I did (I didn’t need to wear one so I didn’t)
Unfortunately after two years of proganda this is the state we are in
FDA revokes Emergency Use Authorization for Monoclonal Antibody treatment for Covid-19. Looks like the FDA is pushing for the Pfizer and Merck antiviral pills. This is so wrong. Big pharma essentially writes and directs the policies for federal health agencies. Everything health agencies do benefits pharma. They need to stop all experimental tx and focus on the real treatments like ivermectin and HCQ. There’s no need to make people Guinea pigs when there are proven safe drugs. Get your ivermectin before it is too late https://ivmpharmacy.com
So the nasi passes stay I’d say job done
Wow! A government actually listening to its citizens ( electorate?) rather like Denmark. Hopefully this is a sign that people power is slowly starting to win out. All we need to do now is convince the sheeple that they’ve been lied to for two years…
The previous rules allowing sex workers to resume business are probably the best example of just how random and pointless most covid rules are.
Where else in Europe was it possible to legally pay for a bonk but not a beer.
