Macron Says, “No Vaxx, No Citizenship” as France Unveils New, Stricter Vaccine Passports
We’re publishing today a piece by Josie Appleton on the introduction in France today of the beefed-up vaccine passports and how they signify the almost mystical role the vaccines have taken on during the pandemic. Josie – who is author of Toxic Sociality – Reflections on a Pandemic and Officious – Rise of the Busybody State – sees in this an undermining of medical ethics that only harms vaccination itself.
Here’s a taster:
The vaccine passport is a citizenship test for a morally and politically vacuous age. It is entirely passive – it is the simple act of consenting to a medical procedure, after which you are crowned with a civic virtue. This is a citizenship test that occurs on the level of what the Italian philosopher Giorgio Agamben calls “bare life”; that is, it is a question of merely biological existence, rather than a question of how a life is lived. Receiving a vaccine pass is mute; there are no words, there is no oath of allegiance to party, country or leader. You offer your body and receive a QR code in return: this is the nature of the new social contract between citizen and state. “Vaccinate, vaccinate, vaccinate” is the mantra for reconstituting authority and society in an age where this authority cannot be grounded on a substantial social basis.
The vaccine is being treated as a mystical state or collective substance that incorporates people into the collective body. Vaccination now is like a sacrament, a transubstantiation ritual; through the vaccine we are receiving the body of the state into our body and therefore joining the community.
One casualty in this is vaccination itself. Considered scientifically, a vaccine – as with any drug – is not a protective talisman or means for membership of a community. It is a medical product with particular qualities and uses, and particular side effects and risks. It may be useful for some groups but not others, and in some contexts but not in others. The rational use of a drug is as important as the drug itself, to ensure that it is directed towards the appropriate ends.
The ideological weaponisation of vaccines distorts these cost-benefit judgements. The vaccine is forced upon people who have little or no need of it, such as children and those with natural immunity, while ignoring those who have need of it. (The older and more vulnerable someone is, the less they are affected by vaccine passports.)
This episode is violating the very basis of health and medical ethics. Through vaccination passports and mandates, it has become acceptable to force someone to take a medical treatment, even a treatment that is not really in their medical interest. When Jean Castex boasted that the vaccine passport led to a rise in people getting their first vaccination, the interviewer pointed out “but they were forced”. Castex shrugged. In normal times, medical force is unacceptable; medical force means the Nazis. When France began vaccinating a year ago, it insisted upon consent forms and pre-vaccine interviews to ensure that people were really consenting. Now, the use of force has become entirely acceptable, it has become ethical in fact. It is the duty of the state to get people to do their duty.

The key thing for the moment (and this may even hit the English-language media some time early next week) is the parrainages (“nominations” or “sponsorships”). Pécresse will dole some out to Zemmour, but that is NOT the end of the story – not by a long chalk.

Macron probably will do what Hitler did to the Jews resident in Germany: after the Eleventh Decree to the Law on the Citizenship of the Reich of 25 November 1941 they were still technically German citizens, but had no rights.

It feels rather odd to have witnessed all this like watching a train wreck unfold in slow motion.

And with this ID system they aim to create a two tier world: those who are compliant and those who are not. And the non compliant are well identified.
What happens next is not that hard to guess.

If we are indeed on the threshold of a new more organised/concrete form of global human “entity”, a “body” made up of billions of human-cells, then the unvaxxed might play the role that the microbiome currently plays in each of our bodies; all the bacteria etc in our guts, on our skin and so on.
Scientists have been discovering this last 40 years just how important the microbiome is to our health and functioning, even affecting our behaviour and personality.
We the unvaxxed are not going away, and we will be essential to the survival of this new “body”.

Yes, this is what I don’t understand. If the goal is to tag people (and the vaccine doesn’t work), why do you have to have taken the vaccine that doesn’t work? Can’t you just be registered as unvaccinated? They can still track you with that.

This is then enforced by people who know literally nothing about infectious disease nor vaccination. Big pharma plays their part – finally getting to trial their long sought after mRNA technology. I think we have to assume the virus itself was deliberately released, in the hubristic belief that it could then be controlled with a similarly engineered chimeric ‘vaccine’. It’s a colossal, monumental failure. A civilisational turning point.
The only rational justification for establishing such permanent global “vaccination regimes” is that a new geopolitical risk has emerged in form of easily constructed biological weapons. Such weapons may be able to target specifically populations of other countries (e.g. by genetic selection of the victims) – but more importantly they can be more easily suppressed by totalitarian countries with full control over their citizens than by democracies (e.g. see the “success” of China in controlling the pandemic).
In that case the mandatory vaccination regime is simply a measure created to defend own population against a future biological assault by a ruthless totalitarian competitor.
Given the technological progress in that area (CRISPR, which allows to experiment with genetically modified organisms at an extremely fast pace) and the current strained geopolitical situation, I’m afraid that it is the actual justification for the whole “useless” vaccination push. Obviously, global ID and ability to track individuals’ (“suspects”) movement across borders can also be utilized as a line of biological surveillance/defense.
I’m just surprised that nobody (not even sceptics) are making any commentaries of this kind.

I was recently looking at global population data from around 1900. I was struck by how small the populations of places like Turkey, Brazil, Indonesia, Africa in general and most importantly China and India were.
In 1900, the population of what we would categorise as ‘the west’ was a massively bigger proportion of world population than it is now.
The west is definitely under siege. So there could be something to the digital health pass as a method for stricter control of movement across borders.
I still think the driver is a global oligarchic class being genuinely worried about an angry world population coming for them with pitchforks.
But maybe appeal of the digital health passes to those in power is that they can see themselves killing several birds with the same stone.

Why? The one definite outcome will be the elimination of the control group. There will then be no reference point for the dangers, or otherwise, of the genetic drugs. All issues could then be blamed on the disease.
The mRNA system is just a drug delivery mechanism, for covid in this case. It could be used to deliver the so-called personalised drugs. These will be untestable by definition, and if the mRNA system is deemed safe, there will be no stopping it. Personalised drugs will eliminate pne of Big Pharma’s greatest costs – Phase III large scale testing for side effects. The current covid drugs are sold on an ability to pay basis. So will the personalised drugs, and any failures will be “just too bad, but thanks for the money anyway.”
Vaccines may be an effective way to determine who “should” be counted as part of the relatively “obedient” genetically-programmed body cells and who on the other hand should be counted part of the “social body’s” microbiome, the relatively independent but symbiotically entwined/associated flora and fauna of the intestinal tract, skin, etc.
We, the unvaxxed, are being “naturally” selected for our “failure” to meet obedient/programmable cell criteria, and are being assigned to/categorised as ( by the newly emerging CNS/central nervous system of the human social “body” ), microbiotic creatures, annoyingly independent but regrettably essential .
Our decision not to vax declares us to be microbiome, “independents” not programmable. It’s a way of identifying us. It’s a kind of litmus test as well, or census; how many human cells are the obedient programmable kind? How many humans “belong to”/are under the control of the new global CNS?

Back in the beginning of the pandemic I jokingly warned some people that we would not like to become like China where a “green light” decides whether you are permitted to get on a bus.
I would never had assumed back then that this caricature world would become stark reality in Western Europe and be supported by the majority of its population within two years – despite the virus being almost a total non-issue for most of the society throughout and becoming ~10x less dangerous within that same period.
All I can conclude from this is that humanity is indeed utterly mad and vicious, and that its leaders simply represent these traits. It’s a bitter consolation which makes me miss the contact with it much less than would be the case otherwise.
I reckon about 20% are on board with a full on China regime, 20% are rabidly against it and the remaining 60% either don’t believe it will happen, have too many day to day problems to worry about that now or simply don’t care too much one way or the other.
In short, I don’t think most people support it. Some do. The majority are just being driven like a herd.

It has nothing to do with a virus. The EU has been planning for an EU-wide vaccine passport for years. This timeline shows that the implementation year is to be 2022.

I have to agree with the author in so much as I believe the vaccine does seem to have taken on some ‘magical’ ‘sacred’ state for a huge amount of people.
In a leading newspaper comment section someone was blathering on about having the right to not be infected by nurses in the NHS, I pointed out that if they had had their double dose vaccination before September 2021, it’s efficacy was now zero…and they were, for all intents and purposes, unvaccinated…..I also pointed out that no one expects a flu vaccination to last more than a few months…that Covid was a cold and we should move on……you would have thought I’d told them all the earth was flat, their dog was dead, and all football was going to be banned!

You are right about the “forever vaccine” belief, but in the sense that the acolytes will be required to have it administered frequently, at ever-shorter intervals, forever. This may not have occurred to all of them.
Perhaps, by some miracle, stroke of luck or genius, a proper sterilising vaccine might be discovered, but I doubt that the likes of Pfizer would do anything that might jeopardise their Golden Geese returns, which have the potential to extend to the End of Time.

First off I am unvaccinated. I live in Wales.
I LAST had contact with friend in her home last SUNDAY. She was not feeling well. She tests positive on a PCR on FRIDAY as a relative persuaded her to have the test. .In all fairness, she was not that bothered.
She will mention all her contacts if/when contacted.

I run an early gen smartphone… on its 3rd battery now. Why? I can still control apps, and disable them as I choose. Also the GPS on/off function is very easy to flip… which means high accuracy location is less possible…Newer handsets this has been made deliberately more difficult to achieve.

My choice is a Nokia “dumbphone” that does calls and texts, and nothing else. However, I don’t give out the number, or any email address, least of all to anyone “medical”. I’m also keen on self-destructing email addresses, and it’s a pity that disposable phone numbers are harder to organise.

Friend of mine had the same situation at work, he had to do LFT for a week to remain at work, had to report the result to T+T, last day got a faint line so had to take a PCR which was +ive, they made him self isolate for 10 days (think it’s 5 now), from the PCR date not the date of contact. On the last day he had to go for another PCR, the test center was packed with people in similar situation so he asked how long the wait was, after 2 hours he gave up and went home. an hour later the Police turned up at his house warning him to keep isolating until he took a PCR.
After he tested -ive, he got a new phone.

Just heard …. friend’s husband, 56, slim and very fit… no known health issues …. who had 3rd jab 4 weeks ago was rushed to hospital last night with massive heart attack. They’ve warned her he may not survive it.
I wish I were shocked by this, but unfortunately I know of two similar vaccine deaths, and multiple serious and life changing injuries. I’ve even seen a youth literally drop down on the floor in a shopping centre just after they started injecting that age group (which may be coincidence, but I have never seen anything like that before). On the other hand I know zero people who even showed COVID-19 symptoms after SARS-CoV-2 exposure
