“If All Adults Were Vaccinated The Pandemic Would be Over,” Says Devi Sridhar – Yet Data Shows the Large Majority of Infections and Deaths Are in the Vaccinated

Professor Devi Sridhar, Chair of Global Public Health at the University of Edinburgh, has claimed that the only thing preventing the pandemic being over is the fact that some adults have not been vaccinated. The anthropologist told the Telegraph:

Governments are frustrated. If all adults were vaccinated who were offered it, [the] pandemic would be over. ICUs are full of people who chose not to get vaccinated, then regret it later. Is that fair to doctors and nurses? And to those who need care for heart attacks and other life-threatening conditions?

Her comments appear in a Telegraph article by the newspaper’s Gates-funded Global Health Security team highlighting how governments are “wielding increasingly bigger sticks in an effort to push vaccination rates skyward – from the threat of prison time to withholding free Covid healthcare and the rise of ‘no jab, no job’ policies”.

In what sense, though, would the pandemic be over if the last 18.7% of over-18s in England were vaccinated? According to Government data, infection rates in over-18s are currently higher in the vaccinated than the unvaccinated, and 73% of total infections in the month ending January 9th were in the vaccinated, so it certainly wouldn’t end transmission or infection. The latest data also shows that 63% of hospitalisations and 70% of deaths with Covid in the month ending January 9th were in the vaccinated (one or more doses). So vaccinating everyone wouldn’t even halve the number of hospital admissions and deaths, let alone eliminate them. While the latest data for ICUs does show a majority of Covid ICU patients in December were unvaccinated, it needs to be borne in mind that the situation is reversed for deaths, and also that ICU occupancy is relatively low and declining at present, meaning there is no pressure on ICUs to blame on the unvaccinated.

The truth is, the pandemic is already over, as there has been no need for emergency measures outside high-risk settings since spring 2020 (if there even was then). Omicron makes this all the more true, to the point that even many lockdown proponents are admitting it’s over. Forcing the last 19% of adults to get vaccinated has no bearing on this fact, and the drive to universal vaccination regardless of once-honoured principles of autonomy and fairness is fast becoming a vindictive outlet for pent-up frustration and grief for the suffering and loss we have all endured under government over-reaction these past two years.

Non scientist Krankie shill Devi Sridhar also pops up, mercifully for the first and hopefully last time in this organ saying and I quote “if the 18% of unvaxxed were vaxxed, the pandemic would be over” 😂😂 That’s what happens when a social scientist trying to build a personal brand is given a platform to talk endlessly about things that she doesn’t understand.

I used to work in a University department and would quite often contact Prof. Sridhar to ask her to mark theses or essays submitted by our students. Her area of expertise was children’s nutrition in the developing world (can’t remember which specific region now). If our students had ever written about respiratory illnesses, we would not have asked her to mark their work, because it simply wasn’t her field and she would not have been able to give a fair assessment. Just because she has the words “Public Health” after her name does not make her an expert on diseases.

One doesn’t need to be an expert to point out that she has no clue what she is talking about. Or, more likely, she doesn’t care as she is being paid to parrot this nonsense. In July 2021 Israel said a 3rd jab was needed because the vaxx was not as effective against Delta. NL was saying until end of October 2021 that 3rd jab was not needed at all, the original 2 were enough to keep people out of hospital. Until that was no longer true going into November, so NL then switched to a 3rd jab being needed because of Delta. Around the 3rd week of November that silently changed to a 3rd jab being needed because of Omicron (we’ve always been at war with Omicron). The 3rd jab was deemed to have lost effectiveness in Israel between 2 to 3 months after they started boostering, they started on a 4th shot some weeks ago, which doesn’t seem to be doing much of anything. Even if the vaxx does actually provide some protection, it is temporary and the time of protection appears to become less after each jab. No expertise is needed, merely the ability to use basic… Read more »

Do you care if she dies of corona? Well, I will assume so and that you do not wish her ill health, but it is not up to you to ensure that that does not happen, it is up to her and those who care for her. They know the risks, they know the advice, they should by all means follow it. Lockdown was and is available to those who wish to self-impose it, right along with wearing masks over every orifice they possess.

Tell the virtue signallers that and see if it computes.

Try this post from one of the bedwetters on the boating forum:

“The reason for removing free LFT is simple
No tests, no positive cases so they can say covid has gone away.
For us it means that we will have to stop visiting aged and vulnerable relatives and friends as without tests we have no chance of knowing if we are asymptomatic carriers or not. We don’t want to be the ones to accidentally infect them.
A very bad move IMO.”

The data that I use for so-called ‘rates’ of so-called ‘covid’ is from the vaccine surveillance site here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-vaccine-weekly-surveillance-reports
The latest data from yesterday shows the vaccines as having negative effect, such that the rate in the jabbed is 2.26x that of the jab-free. This is similar to the previous week.
The jabbed elderly are becoming slightly more prone as the booster wears off. This waning is typical. On this basis, boosters would have to continue indefinitley. How can anyone say that the so-called ‘pandemic’ will be over?

They want 100% of the plebs to be vaccinated because a large control group would show clearly that the vaccines are likely highly dangerous. The vaccines contain graphene oxide/hydroxide in the form of micro/nano electronic components and particles. It is likely that the intended effects of graphene will be intensified by the switch on of 5G.

The “Orwell City” website, provides an English translation of some of the work being done by “La Quinta Columna” an apparently independent Spanish investigation unit, which has been investigating the Covid and some flu vaccines for much of last year. Graphene has been found in all of the the Covid vaccines and this detail has been confirmed by Dr Pablo Campra, a professor of chemistry at the University of Almeriá.

The extensive Orwell City archive can be found at https://www.orwell.city/p/archivo.html

amanuensis

Why does she refer to ‘vaccinated’? Surely she means the boosted, as the vaccine protection wanes to nothing after approximately 6 months. And that includes hospitalisations/deaths — we’d see this more clearly if they only released the data. Of course, the benefits of regular boosters are only clear if you restrict your analysis to covid itself — the situation is far less clear if you include side effects, and even more so if you accept that we still don’t know the full nature of the impact of the vaccines on health — for example, emergency hospitalisation for stroke is up 25% since vaccination started, compared with the pre-covid average. Is this a vaccine issue? We just don’t know. But, just as with collapsing footballers you’d think that they’d at least investigate the situation — instead they’ll probably blame the increase in strokes on climate change. The big problem though is that vaccination appears to increase the risk of infection with covid — thus covid will probably remain at relatively high levels in highly vaccinated countries (such as the UK) until this effect itself wanes, and that might take years; if we’d only vaccinated the most vulnerable we’d have had comparable… Read more »

The truth is, the pandemic is already over

Truth is there never was a “pandemic”, a panic perhaps, panic over a disease with a 99.97% survival rate, no worse than SARS-CoV-1 (or flu). Many lives could have been saved if resources had been appropriately targeted, symptomatic cases treated early with cheap, effective treatments that were suppressed in favour of profit.
